In the B story, when Brunt comes to the station and demands Quark kill himself, Quark invokes the Unwritten Rule of Acquisition (Voyager 305-"False Profits") and hires Garak to kill Brunt.

Just think of the story opportunities if Bashir was pregnant and everyone on Ferenginar was afraid of Quark.

why is trekblr not talking about the fact that Leonard Nimoy was in Goncharov?

granted it's just one scene as the unnamed KGB guy with the cracked wristwatch who monologues about death for 2 mins but like. Matteo JWJH was a huge Star Trek fan. He personally asked Nimoy to take the part. Nimoy even mentions in I Am Not Spock that most of his scenes ended up getting cut for time. (they were restored in the 1989 “Matteo cut” that was shown at Sundance)
