Off-season at the beach was not known to draw many people. The chill sand and frigid waters were enough to drive most tourists away.

..Unless you were a tourist with a magical inclination toward warmth.

A red parisol, held by a woman in equally-vibrant shades of crimson floated along the coast. A light breeze ruffled her ink-black hair.

She was not alone. Two small individuals scurried around her like a pair of chicks to their mother hen. Both equally dark-haired, they cast strange shadows as pale sunlight cut trhough the drifting clouds over head: One was taller, bouncier. Unable to stand still in this fun, new environment. She also seemed to have four arms and a tail.... The other, was tiny, quiet, and was clutching a miniscule guitar to her chest as though she feared it would sprout legs and run off at any moment. ...She also appeared to have beak where her mouth should be. ((The Missmatched Quartett)) (sorry this is late)

Off Season. On Season. The beach never lost it's magic for Pearl. Ever since she'd ended up on the planet Earth, it was the landscape that had "spoken" to her the most.

It helped that as a Gem, things like temperature didn't affect her like it would most. So she too walked along in the cold sands, bare feet leaving a trail of solitary foot prints behind her.

It was with surprise when she realized others were on the beach, and it only grew as she neared and recognized the dark haired woman in the distance.

"....Adara...?"
