May I request some headcanons on Unità Speciale from JoJo’s about how they would act around their crush? (I think Squalo and Tiziano would go together since I’m pretty sure they’re a couple-)

Hi! Omg another JoJo ask! I really love these asks so plz send them over! As for Squalo and Tiziano, I think honestly they are a couple as well (in my canon they are) so I’ll be grouping them ^^. I’ll probably group Secco and Cioccolata together too since they work as a duo (and could be seen as a couple but I’ll let readers decide)

How Unita Speciale acts around a crush

Squalo + Tiziano

Honestly I think Tiziano would be hard to read, but Squalo would be pretty easy. Like he would have a little bit of a stutter when he talks to his crush or like he’ll be blushing when they get close or smile in his direction. Tiziano might give them a pleasant smile or be softer around them. Even if the crush doesn’t see Squalo’s crush, Tiziano will catch on and so will Squalo to Tiziano.

The two of them will likely have a bit of a talk, just on whether or not they should also have the crush part of the duo and let the relationship become a trio. Likely chance is that they’ll be fine with it, and from then on they’ll likely be flirty towards the crush.

Tiziano is a bit more suave with the flirtation. He’s definitely not afraid to be a bit touchy with it, but he’ll just like watching them become a flustered mess. That doesn’t mean Squalo’s not flirtatious, he’s probably just as good. He’s a bit of a tease like Tiziano is, but it might be a bit more on the rough end (ie playfully pushing the crush around or like jump-scaring them with a surprise hug from behind). Either way expect the crush to get some physical affection along with very suave words.

The confession will come from them both, probably asking the crush to meet with them in a more private setting. It might be a side of a bar or a quiet area of town. The two of them will just explain it to the crush with simple words, nothing too long and nothing too short. If the crush agrees to date, expect a more in-your-face reaction from Squalo while Tiziano is a bit more calm (still has that amazing smile ofc)

Overall I think it would be a coordinated act. Before then the crush will just notice the two hanging around them more often or going on jobs/missions more with them. The two will also be a lot nicer to the crush than when they first met (I feel like they wouldn’t be as friendly tbh to other members of Passione unless they were close).

Cioccolata + Secco

Oh man. First of all to whoever became their crush I’m sorry. But on the other hand, hey it might be a cool experience? Or maybe the person like them, either way the crush will not know they had a crush until they say it, mostly because they’ll just be around them and the crush might think “oh no am I just on their good side or am I going to become a lab rat”

I think Secco would be easier to read. He will be, well, himself and might smother the crush a bit (I imagine he would be sort of like how cat’s brush up against people’s legs) but the crush might just think Secco’s interested in them like in a friendly way. Secco might talk to them more too, like actual interactions. Similar with Cioccolata he might talk to the crush more often but he’s good at hiding the attraction. If the crush compliments him, he’ll just thank them, but the crush might notice him being a bit more giddy than usual

I also feel like Cioccolata and Secco don’t do pick up lines or flirty words. For example, they probably have a weird sense of affection that isn’t really understood by common people, so depending on the crush the words will make them blush or drain the happiness out of their day haha. They’ll be more like gift-giving because it’s a bit simpler for the two parties.

The two might talk about it but Cioccolata might make the ultimate decision. The next step is on whether or not the crush ends up like Secco or if the crush goes through with the relationship without becoming a potential lab rat. The crush might feel like they need to agree, but the two might be a bit flexible if it comes to a rejection. They’ll just be more distant

Overall I think if the crush has good chemistry with this medical duo they’ll be fine. Hell they might be a force in Unita Speciale if their stand and their teamwork is super good with Cioccolata and Secco. The relationship might be more or less normal but it could also just be more destruction (it’s for you to decide)

Carne

He’s quiet, not very talkative and rarely shows emotions outside of his stand. However, when he has a crush it might be easier to read him because he gets flustered more

For example, if the crush worked with him for a while they might notice he’s a bit more shy than usual or that he’s a bit flustered when they compliment him. He’s less 😶 than usual like more 😳. He’s more of a gift-giver too since he doesn’t feel that good with words

I think it would take a long time for him to confess to his crush, like practice in front of a mirror or write it out. He’s probably dated once or twice, but he doesn’t really remember much about how they started so it feels like he has to start from scratch. He will NOT let anyone know about his crush though, in case their life gets threatened (if they are a civilian) or it gets awkward as a team (if they are part of the team).

His confession might be a bit awkward, it’s in a secluded place and his voice is fairly quiet. It’s kinda cute though coming from someone who works with one of Italy’s strongest mafias. If the crush agrees he’ll be delighted, honestly might just ask if they wanted to hang out for a bit longer. If the crush says no, then he’ll try to be a bit nonchalant about it but he’ll likely cut ties with them because it makes him think about his confession more.

Either way, he’s sort of like what I imagine Pesci would be like except he doesn’t have a “fratello” to help him or hype him up haha. He’ll be nice as a boyfriend, but he’ll be busy once Bruno’s gang decides to go against Diavolo

Doppio

Honestly he might be in denial for a bit that he has a crush on someone. He thinks it’s silly, maybe he’s seen too many tv shows or didn’t keep himself busy that he had time to dream. However, he’ll come around and just agree to himself that yeah maybe he has a crush

Diavolo might get in the way of Doppio trying to pick the crush up or like hanging out with them because Diavolo had a relationship before and he wants to keep anonymity, but Diavolo might stop if Doppio convinces him. The two don’t really have the exact same goals in terms of getting to know people

Doppio is always a more cheerful guy, he’s definitely going to be sweet to his crush. He’s friendly, takes them out to places, and genuinely spends time getting to know them. I feel like though he does blush from time to time, the crush might never see him flustered. He seems like the type to know how to hide emotions when he needs to, and this might be one of the cases. However, the crush will know Doppio’s at least enjoying their company

When it comes to the confession, he might be a bit more of a stuttering mess. He’s a bit shy with his words, likely does it outside in a less crowded area (like a seashore or a park) and just thinks of his words on the spot. He hopes the Boss won’t call him during this important moment as he waits for his crush to give him an answer. If that answer is yes, then he’ll be super happy and might give them a hug immediately after haha. If not, he’ll give an awkward laugh and say it’s no worry, the two could still be friends. Depending on if the crush is a civilian or not, they may see Doppio less

Overall I think he would be more of a daydreamer, sort of imagining what his life could be like with this crush and the things that romance brings in life. He might’ve talked to Diavolo about his crush too, but Diavolo likely shut him up and told him to focus on his work before rambling about the crush. Doppio’s a sweet guy ^^

Squalo- Reluctant. He's not completely opposed to the idea of kids eventually but come on, they're only in their 20s and still very busy with work. He lets you down gently but ultimately makes it clear now isn't the time. Would you like a dog instead?

Tiziano- Being the more mature of the two Tiziano is more open to having kids, but is still against it since now isn't a good time. Very surprised you would be wanting them this early on, and asks if there's something else he could give you to fulfil your social needs.

Cioccolata- What a wonderful idea! Cioccolata had no immediate intentions to have kids with you but if you want them, why not? He doesn't work much but is paid well nonetheless, and having a little person to mould sounds just delightful! You can have a baby as soon as you'd like!

Secco- Misunderstands the question and heads for the door to go get you the nearest baby. After you drag him back and tell him what you really mean, he's equally eager. Secco isn't one to think about practicalities (and he doesn't need to, since Cioccolata would be just as happy to raise your child from Secco).

Doppio- Isn't ready for children, and will present you a full damn essay for why he feels this way. In short, he just doesn't feel emotionally prepared yet and sees his work as the underboss as too consuming. He's very apologetic and will get you lots of gifts to compensate.

Carne

- Only talks if he absolutely has to, prefers to communicate through sign language, writing, and other nonverbal forms of communication

- On good terms with most of the guard, and tries to spend time with Secco when he's away from Cioccolata

- No one really knows how he got into the elite guard, he just showed up one day without Diavolo telling anyone. Squalo thought he'd been sent as an assassin and it took Tiziano and Doppio hastily explaining the situation to stop him from sending Clash straight into Carne's blood. They got past it pretty quickly and Cioccolata thought it was hilarious

- Nonbinary but doesn't really care for labels and just lets people call him whatever

Bruford

- Had a small, fluffy dog named Lucky which he'd take for runs and play with in the countryside

- Absolutely loves flowers, his house was full of flowers he picked while playing with Lucky

- Served as 80% of Tarkus' impulse control and they were often assigned to tasks together because he was the only thing stopping Tarkus from going berserk most of the time

- Uses his hair powers for extremely mundane things when no one was looking, like watering flowers, using it to carry extra stuff, and playing jokes on Tarkus

Dio's Mom

- Her name is Agatha Brando

- Quite tall, much taller than Dario

- Only stayed with Dario to raise Dio, would always stay home and comfort her son when he was struggling

- Grew to resent Dario and planned to one day leave and take Dio with her so they could live somewhere safer

- Picked weeds from their garden and gave them to Dio. Although they were weeds, they were still lovely flowers and just as pretty as the fancy bouquets she couldn't afford

- Has a lovely singing voice, would sing Dio to sleep

- Dio inherited her golden hair

- The scarf Dio wears in the first episode of PB when he's at Dario's grave was a gift from her. Dario was failing to buy Dio the things he needed for the Winter, so Agatha scraped together as much money as she could to buy it

Her name is Caramella, she's 6 years old, Secco is her adopted daddy, she was a gift from Cioccolata, she has a cat plush that is also her stand, Gattina, and she was adopted by my friend's oc, Simone, who is shipped with Melone. She is gender fluid and will occasionally look up and declare her gender has changed.

Also she likes snuggles, kisses on the top of her head, rock candy, and sitting next to anyone sleeping and starting at them like creepy children do, silently and inches away from the person's face.

General Relationship Headcanons for Unita Speciale 

Squalo & Tiziano 

They love to do things like wear cute couple outfits with you. Even if it doesn’t exactly match, they just like coordinating outfits with you. Something about subtly letting other people know that you are theirs. 

Super devoted to you, Tiziano loves planning romantic evenings for the three of you while Squalo prefers more lowkey things like getting takeout while you eat TV dinner while you watch a movie using Cioccolata’s Netflix account. 

Tiziano will read you romantic sayings from novels and Squalo will tag you in stupid memes that will make you snort in public. A sweet sort of hot and cold relationship.

They are endlessly devoted to you. Will pull the sun from the sky if it means it will make you smile. If you asked, they would do everything they can to get you the moon and the stars. 

Carne 

Fiercely loyal and devoted, Carne sees you as the light of his life and the reason for his existence. 

Ever since he met you he feels like everything in his life has begun to look up. He’ll do anything and everything he can to protect your smile. 

He always gets you strange little things and he’s not exactly the best at showing affection but he does his best and that is enough. 

When he holds you in his arms and you look up at him with a gentle smile, he feels like you’re the only thing he has that is right. 

You take it upon yourself to teach Carne things, you teach him how to read, write. And he loves to write you little love letters on sticky notes, things like romantic quotes from the books you read together, sincere declarations of his affection for you. Those kinds of things uwu 

Cioccolata & Secco 

Their interest in recording things means they have a lot of home videos of intimate moments: things like when you first celebrated your birthday with them, Secco opening presents, and even a rare moment where Cioccolata is holding Secco in his arms tenderly while the two of them sleep on the couch. 

Cioccolata likes lavishing you with expensive gifts and even more expensive clothes. 

You’re the one who does Cioccolata’s makeup, his hair. He would do it himself but he never likes the way he looks when he does it. There’s something about the way you do his makeup that makes him feel like a million dollars or maybe it was just the way that you would press a kiss on his forehead and tell him that he looked so dashing. 

Sometimes, when Secco tires of Cioccolata’s harsh affection, he seeks you out to dote on him. He loves when you pat his head, give him kissies all over his face, and hug him. He loves being your little spoon. 

There’s nothing these 2 love more than seeing your welcoming smile after a long day. There was just something about you that made their place really feel like a home. 

Because maybe sometimes, home is 2 weirdoes and a halfway normal person. 

Doppio 

He’s always away so Doppio is constantly calling you. 

Sometimes, he just wants to hear the sound of your voice, he loves to hear you talk to him about your day. Something about the normalcy of your life soothes him. 

He’s a soft romantic so imagine sipping hot chocolate while you cuddle underneath a blanket fort. 

Always, there are always nightmares. He never does talk about it and you never push him. When you feel him stiffening up in bed, his soft snores coming to be replaced with whimpering, you find yourself immediately reaching out to hold him, to comfort him. 

You like to spoil Doppio with nice pretty things, it always fills his heart when you surprise him with cute stuff. 

Loves receiving affection from you more than giving it. Not that Doppio is a selfish lover by any means, he is actually very generous. It’s just that there’s something in the way when you look at him, when you hold him, when you tell him that you love him that makes him feel whole and pure. 

Something about how your love for him makes him feel like he is a good man even though deep down he knows it isn’t. 

bonus: Diavolo

Falling in love with Diavolo is like a slow burn, but when it catches fire it engulfs everything. 

“You made me fall for you, take responsibility.” 

Diavolo can’t take care of himself. He’s always too busy running the mafia or having a mental breakdown to do so, so you have to take it upon yourself to make sure he’s alright. 

Texting Diavolo things like: Good morning, Diavolo, did you make sure to eat today? Did you make sure to drink water today? I love you, take care of yourself. 

At first, he dislikes the whole thing with you texting him. He never responds to your texts and he finds himself getting annoyed with how frequently you text him but he still manages to find time to do as you asked. He drinks water, he makes sure to eat properly. 

Gradually, he begins to respond to your texts, just curt replies: Yes, I ate today. Take care of yourself too. I love you too. 

He’s a very possessive lover and he’s super touchy. Constantly holding your hands, always finding a way to touch you, his hands are always on your waist. 

You love to play with his hair when he lets you. You learn how to do intricate hairstyles just so that you can make him look more handsome lol. You love shampooing and combing his hair. 

THE LITTLE SPOON!!!! He never admits it but he loves it when you cradle him in your arms, run your fingers through his hair, and whisper gentle affirmations in his ear.

The first time I’ve seen this thing, this GHOST, I was a bit scared, I have to admit.

But I know it’s a part of me that’s always been here, somewhere inside of me.

It’s a pity that you can’t see it.

He really likes it, the man who did this to me. He says it looks like me.

Back then, I was an up-and- coming writer.

This one might need a trigger warning. So this is a really strange one and one that might go unanswered because it's gonna be one of those kinds. Secco and Cioccolata with a kid. Took the kid from one of the women he's killed (be it that he removed her infant from her body or her arms is up to you.) I imagine that he'd give it to Secco to take care of.

Ok but whilst looking for the perfect GIF of both these characters I literally found the most perfect one that exactly captures the face I make when I get a request that begins with “I don’t think you’ll do this one but...”. Bold of y’all to assume I don’t salivate over the most unusual requests and rush to do them. If I’m struck with an idea the writing flows so much easier. By all means, I’m an author, I love a challenge ;) Sorry if this is OOC however, I don’t know too much about these characters so I had to do some research.

“Such a good baby, such a good Sugar...”

You’re special. More special than anyone else in the world, because you’re the only one in the whole wide world that gets to be held by your Papa without his Stand to cover him.

Papa Secco always holds you until you fall asleep, crouched over your bed and rocking you even though you’re already twelve years old and a big kid now according to Cioccolata. You don’t need to be rocked anymore, but that does not matter to your papa, and honestly you don’t know how you’ll be able to function if there’s a night that you’re not coddled and rocked to sleep.

“Made pictures today.” you tell him, absolutely wide awake because you’re being held by your papa.

“Did you?”

“Mmm, made one of Papa, one of my kitty, one of Ciocco...”

He giggles like a school girl. Praising you more than ever, rocking in a manic panic back and forth that only makes you calm as the dizziness hits. This is all you’ve ever known. You don’t know any other kind of love, and the dizziness makes you giddy, almost like being drunk (although you’ll never know that feeling, Cioccolata was adamant that Secco make sure no vice would mar his innocent little pup). Instinct compels you to wrap your legs around your papa’s waist, nuzzling into his neck when the dizziness makes you a little too sick. The effect is instantaneous, and Secco slows himself down in a rare display of self control, patting your back through your pretty star pajamas and kissing your soft neck. He inhales your scent, like he’s huffing paint, exquisitely high on the calming scent of the baby shampoo you’re still using.

You tell him with a bit of a sleepy slur in your voice that you left your pictures on the little table where Secco spends time feeding you for every meal, and you hope that when your Papa wakes you up for breakfast in the morning that he squeals and coos over the drawings, surprisingly detailed for such a young artist. Gifted. That’s what Cioccolata called you as he held you up in bloody hands, watching with morbid fascination as you mimicked your dying mother, sucking in deep breaths and not even crying for the first few moments of your life.

“Bellissima.” Cioccolata had murmured, placing you in Secco’s arms all warm and swaddled in a fleece blanket that he’d stolen from the nursery your father had set up. “Look, such a sweet and calm baby. Already curious about the world. You have a gifted baby. So very smart, already knows who Papa is. When they don’t cry after being separated it means they know they’re safe. Look how happy your new baby is to be in Papa’s arms.”

“My Sugar is such a wonderful artist...” Secco coos, kissing all over your face with sloppy abandon, “So talented. Love you.”

Immediately you perk up, lips splitting into a large smile.

“Loooooove you.” you parrot, drawing out your words.

“Looooooooooooooooove you more.” Secco mirrors your smile, almost unhinged, his pupils dilating.

“No! Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove you so much more!”

The game continues back and forth, you and Secco trying to outdo each other every single time. It’s a game. A ritual. The most special aspect of the relationship you have with your one and only family that you’ve ever known. Being such an obedient child has earned you lots of rewards, and being coddled by Secco is one of those cherished forms that you’ll never tire of. Not that there would be any doubt that the rewards would continue even if you misbehaved. Secco was of the philosophy that you were a special child, not just for your gift of artistry or your calm demeanor in the face of pure psychosis. Your forced birth, thirty five weeks early, endeared Secco to you. When he had been given the responsibility of caring for you, he never left the side of the incubator that Cioccolata had stolen to put you in. It helped to regulate your body temperature for a few weeks, until you were strong enough to do so without its help. The only times you cried was when you got impatient waiting for Secco to finish making your formula, but that was to be expected.

“Just like me.” Secco would smile at his master.

“Precisely. So impatient when waiting for a sweet treat.” would be the reply.

“My sweet treat.” Secco asserted, nearly melting when he felt Cioccolata stroke the crown of his head.

“Yes. This is your baby. Your very own special treat for being such a very, very good boy and getting that nice shot for me.”

“My Sugar...” Secco had whispered to you in the incubator.

You had smiled, the first one ever in your life.

And so he claimed you for the next twelve years.

You were an experiment to his master, just to see how one exactly went about raising the perfect child. But to Secco, you were perfect already. Every aspect was perfect, from the way you responded so positively to his unhinged love, to the way you behaved now, letting Secco get under the covers with you and putting your thumb in your mouth, murmuring a last protestation of how much you loved him more and sleeping like a baby the minute he calmed himself down to get you to go to bed.

“Such a good baby.” he murmured into your ear, mindful not to disturb your rest. “Such a good, good Sugar...”
