hi!!! i just want a bit of clarity for myself:

so ive known/been involved with the loa community for about 3-4 (??) years now! but the thing is i still havent manifested my desires :/ AND I KNOW you most likely get these asks a lot 😭😭 but im not here to rant i just want some advice that pertains to my situation you know?

this is my first ask that ive sent in MONTHS (lowkey proud) and up till this point ive been off tumblr/stopped consuming loa content! but ive realized that as time goes on, manifesting isnt really fun to me :// like i literally forget that manifesting even exists. when this new year started i told myself i REALLY need to lock in but i just feel so lazy to even try consciously manifesting anymore :( im aware of what i do wrong (ie not keeping a mental diet, focusing on 3d circumstances, forgetting to affirm or wtv) but im here to ask you how can i change that?? should i tey different methods? it feels like no matter what i do (affirm, listen to subs, etc) i cant get myself in the wish fulfilled state, which i know is the main goal. so i just wanted to ask you how do you think i should go about manifesting in general at this point? because i really really REALLY do wanna change but i feel like im not putting in enough effort (i know you dont need "effort" to manifest) and im failing myself 🙃🙃(sorry this was long i just wanted to give you some background info first)

hey butterbean!! I feel like you have the mindset that you need to constantly think about your desire and if you let go it won't come to you (correct me if im wrong) From what i can tell is that you are thinking of your desire this whole time instead of thinking from them. Another thing i can conclude is that you lack faith and have been "trying to manifest". Now that we know your problems lets solve them together shall we??

First of all you don't have to keep thinking of your desires over and over again like sometimes people set alarms and that's unnecessary just thinking whenever it comes to you naturally is enough don't feel the need to force yourself to constantly think about it, remember whenever you feel the need to force something you are doing it wrong. And even the feeling of wish fulfilled only comes with ease, don't be so fixated on trying to feel the emotions, they happen naturally as soon as you accept what you are imagining is real and you now in fact have your desires, would you force yourself to feel happy if it happened in the 3d? no right it'd happen naturally thats what you should do in the 4d.

Through this post you can check if are thinking of or from your desire Next up i wanna ask you, after you imagine your desires fulfilled in your imagination do you feel happy that you now have your desires or do you feel like you have to work your way into it and are worried about the 3d?? If its the 2nd one, you don't believe that imagination is real, you think its something you use to get your desires in the 3d, you are too fixated on the 3d that you don't even enjoy imagining.

You huffed and wrapped the duvet tighter around you. You felt like shit. The feeling of guilt and sadness washed over you when you thought about having to cancel tonight. You, Bucky and Steve was supposed to go see a movie and eat together. It was a monthly ritual to you, three best friends just enjoying each other’s company. You felt sick to your stomach when you opened up the texting app on your phone.

Y/N:

Hey guys <3 so sorry but I’ve gotten sick so imma need a raincheck… but please go without me! Wouldn’t wanna ruin your evening… <3

You tossed your phone away as you felt tears stinging in your eyes. For the last couple of months you had felt something more than friendship blooming. The butterflies in your stomach having a freaking mosh pit whenever you hung out with Bucky and Steve. And the fact that you felt the same for both of them honestly freaked you out a little bit. “Am I that greedy?” you thought to yourself.

You also knew that the boys didn’t look at you like that. You were their doll, blossom, sweetheart and baby – but nothing more than platonic. The first time you met then had been so embarrassing. You close your eyes and the memory pops up into your mind, like it has so many times before.

First day of college and you had managed to fall face first onto the floor. Books and papers flying everywhere and the sound of laughter surrounds you. You feel your face flush and the tinge of embarrassment make you feel sweaty and gross. Then suddenly you’re pulled to your feet, large hands on both sides hoisting you up. On your right side, a tall blonde. Icy blue eyes meet yours and a faint smile is playing on his lips.

“Careful, sweetheart. Are you ok?” he asks with real concern. You blush even more and try to rip loose.

“hey, take it easy, doll! Wouldn’t wanna faceplant again would you?” a teasing voice say to your left. You turn, and see a tall brunette on your left. You huff a little, steadying on your feet now.

“Im fine, thank you.” You duck your head and rip out of their grip, collecting all your belongings. Not without both boys helping, handing you all the stuff that you spread out on the floor. Finally you have all your stuff and sit down on the nearest vacant chair. The boys flop down beside you.

 “Hi, I’m Steve” the blonde on your right says.

“And I’m Bucky” the brunette on your left chime in.

“I’m Y/N” you say as you duck your head again, the shyness really kicking in.

Both boys hum, and the class begins.

After that day, it has been the three of you. Like peas in a pod. The sound of your phone dragged you out of the memory.

Stevie:

Oh, baby <3 so sad to hear that, feel better soon! ILY <3

Ugh, why did he have to be so cute. You bit your lip while you replied.

Tossing you phone away once again you huffed loudly. You felt like shit, and you smelled like… well not good. Dragging yourself to the shower felt like running a marathon – but you did it.

Fresh out of the shower and feeling a bit less shitty you find some food and go sit on your bed again. You are looking for a movie to watch when your phone chimes again. You snort when you see the ID.

Bucky, the handsomest fella ever:

Bucky had changed his name in your contacts when you were drunk and discussing handsome guys.

“No, doll. I AM A LOT MORE HANDSOME THAN THAT DOUCHE!” he yelled while holding your phone away from your reach. You had been texting with a boy in your literature class, Thor Odinson. You laughed loudly at Bucky’s antics.

“What, Barnes? Jealous much?” you smirked.

Bucky stared at you, his face inches from yours. “Maybe I am… Doll” the last word came out more like a whisper. You gasped and looked down at his lips.

Steve swayed into the room, with too much snacks in his hands.

“We need to eat! All the snacks!” he slurred out, trying to sound like he gave an order. He didn’t realize the situation he came barging into, and he made no effort to do so either. He simply planted one big wet kiss on each of your cheeks. Buckys first, then you.

“KISSES FOR EVERYONE” he yelled and ripped open a bag of chips. You and Bucky looked at each other for another second, before bursting out in laughter and both of you peppering Steve in kisses.

Smiling at the fond memory you reply to Bucky’s text.

After that, you finally found a movie to watch. It wasn’t good at all, causing you to fall asleep. Sometime after you woke from the doorbell. Frustrated you mumbled to yourself about pesky neighbors as you walked to answer the door.

Ripping the door open and huffing out an irritated “what?!” a smile appear on your lips when you see who’s standing there. Steve and Bucky both look at you with big smiles, hands full of bags with snacks and drinks.

“Hi, doll. Hope we can enjoy our movie here? With our best friend?” Bucky tipped his head as he asked, looking all kinds of handsome. You merely laughed and looked at Steve. But his eyes was not meeting yours, they were preoccupied eyeing your bare legs up and down. Glancing down at your outfit you suddenly remember that you’re only wearing a big t-shirt, panties and fluffy socks. Clearing your throat, you look at Steve with amusement in your eyes.

“See something you like, Rogers?” you hear Bucky huff out a laugh as a blush creeps up Steve’s neck.

Straightening his back, Steve looks you square in the eye, smirks and says;

“Sure, do sweetheart”

The butterflies are definitely doing their thing by now and you step aside to let them in.

“Well then. Come in handsome” you smirk at Steve. He eyes you up and down as he walk in. Bucky on the other hand looks very amused.

“Doll” he whispers as he kisses your cheek, a little too close to your lips to be friendly. The he just strolls in like he owns the place.

The flirting is soon forgotten, with all three of you on your bed. Arguing over what movie to watch and stealing each other’s snacks. The boys are discussing the gearing on the car in the movie.

“Steve, there is no way that the racecar has like 18 gears! 18 gears, that’s just ridiculous!” Bucky is so enthusiastic about it, making you and Steve laugh.

Both men turn to you and the fondness in their eyes make your heart beat faster. Suddenly feeling fatigued again you shudder.

“Hold me please?” you say in a small voice. Soon two arms wrap around you. Bucky and Steve caging you between them and you hum with content. You relax in their touch, closing your eyes. Soon lips are pressing to your cheek. Then your neck. Both boys peppering you in kisses, your heart is ready to jump out of your chest at this point.

“Boys…” you mumble, to content to really care that this feels like a lot more than friendly.  

“Shh, relax blossom.” Bucky’s gruff voice send shivers down your spine.

“Sleep now, baby” Steve says, planting a final kiss right in the corner of your lips.

As you relax again and drift off, you can see two hands intertwining over your stomach. One flesh, one metal. You hum softly and fall asleep.

Okay so the thing is. Compared to Leon or even compared to his time spent with Los Illuminados we don’t,,,, k n o w a whole lot about that portion of Luis’ life

Like OK if you’re speaking in logistics/canon compliancy then no alas it wouldn’t work at all JANSHSNDJXNX Laboratory Six (the Lab Luis worked in that made Nemesis) was set in Paris, France, and by the time the Raccoon City Outbreak had started, Luis had already fled Umbrella and presumably ended up in Valdelobos (sure there’s a CHANCE he might’ve floated around Europe for a while but?? He describes his time spent working on the Plagas as having been ‘years’ so I’m assuming he went straight to Valdelobos)

The timeline gets kinda wonky with Luis- he would’ve roughly been 22 when he fled umbrella, and it would’ve been anywhere between a couple months to a year before the RC Outbreak, and which meant he spent five or six years trapped by Los Illuminados give or take???? Which makes how he got a degree, went to college, got a job at Umbrella and spent enough time there to become one of their head scientists really funny to imagine when you remember he was only 21/22 when he fled HDBSHDNSJS like damn that man is a CHILD PRODIGY!!!! ((It also makes it DEVASTATING to imagine how he found out about Raccoon City one way or another but HEY I SAID NOTHING))

But if you’re talking in an AU or personality wise???? That’s a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY IM CHOMPING AT THE BIT FOR

Honestly I don’t think it’d be TOOOO different to their actual dynamic, just that they were both a lot younger and had a lot more maturing to do!!!! Again we don’t really know what kind of a person Luis was when he was younger other than that he was SUPER ambitious (which makes sense), probably a little more floaty/cocky (I don’t think he was lying about being a ladies man HXNSSJHD) overly curious and just generally really well-liked by his peers!! Like he considered them his family so I imagine he was probably just a more roughhouse version of the Luis we know him as now. We also don’t know how much of the Nemesis project Luis was aware of- given his upbringing I HIGHLY doubt Luis would go into umbrella knowing full well the scope of what they’re doing but I think it’s unrealistic to say he had malicious intent the entire time!!!

But adding onto that I think his guilt would be a LOT more apparent and repressed at the same time. Like when we see him in RE4R he’s already at a point where he’ll throw himself into the fire to fix his mistakes so can you IMAGINE what it must’ve been like when he was FRESH out of said mistakes????? Would he have tried to pretend they never happened??? Would it manifest as being destructive??? Who knows!!!!!! But I know for a fact Leon’s presence would DEFINITELY throw him for a loop HDBEHENDJD

Leon in RE2 is just PAINFULLY good at heart. Like we all know this you don’t need me to repeat it HXBSHSNS all he wants from the very start is to help anyone and everyone he can, and I think that would extend to Luis too. He’s obviously a lot more trusting too (like blah bla everyone get your jokes abt him believing that Ada was an FBI agent out of the way) so I don’t think he’d have AS strong of a grudge against Luis as he does in the remake. Sure I think he’d be WARY of him but if Luis was as honest and open as he is in re4r (even with a little prodding) which I think he definitely would be, ESPECIALLY cuz of, Y’know, waves hands, the debilitating guilt BXNSHNSJS Leon wouldn’t have a hard time trusting him in the end

What ID be SUPER INTERESTED IN is what would happen AFTER RC!!!! Would Leon try to protect Luis from the law???? Would Luis follow in Leon’s footsteps and be a government agent???? Would they both run away to Valdelobos and BOTH get stuck?????????

TLDR FOR THIS ACCIDENTALLY REALLY LONG POST AHWNWHWNDUDJSK I don’t think it’d be much different!!!!!!! They’d just have more maturing to do, which I think is weirdly beautiful!!!!!! Leon is still rather naive and optimistic and overly trusting and Luis is still wild and ambitious and overly curious about the world around him!!!!!! They’re good people at heart and I think their lives would’ve been a whole lot different if they’d just met at a different time and a different place
