1. Baby Baby - Tropkillaz

They used to play this song during the Olympics whenever the scoreboards were put on screen at the swimming competitions. Not all know, but I am a huge fan of swimming and I actually practiced the sport for a few years (got the shoulders to prove it). At the time I was learning to swim butterfly style and this song makes me think of the water, the Olympics and the sore tummy I had for weeks.

2. Missing You - All Time Low

I have a thing with ATL, I love them but I cannot listen to them anymore. They are a great band that I discovered because my best friend showed me some of their songs. I... I made a mess with this guy. I spent half out friendship falling in love with him while he did not, I think he taught me to be who I am! He encouraged my writing. He encouraged me to make music and to express myself. He listened and he was there to hold me when I cried. I don’t think I have ever trusted someone like that ever. I listen to this song and I hate it because it’s cute and fluffy and it makes me think of someone I loved who...changed. My friend and I distanced from each other, we had issues and we had stuff going on in our minds. We ended up becoming strangers. But I still think of him when I listen to a love song.

3. Star Girl - McFly

Oh my god! This is another band this dude told me to check out back in 2008! But this band became my thing. This was when I started dreaming. Because of this band, I decided I would go on an exchange somewhere far someday if not England. I ended up going to Germany, but this song brings me to a great place of dreams and hopes and teenage naivety.

4. Girl Got A Gun - Tokio Hotel

This song is in English but it changed the way I saw music for a whole year. I walked into the Tokio Hotel party a little late...but I found them because I needed to learn some songs in German to improve my speaking skills and although they stopped writing songs in their native language, they still made some great music in 2014 and 2017.

5. Сломана (Slomana) - serebro

Okay, listen up, I speak a tiny bit of Russian (although I have never had proper lessons), so I like to listen to music in this language. For me it sounds beautiful, I love learning this kind of languages that are so different from my native language, which is Spanish; and this song in particular I like because I feel like it delivers the message even if you don’t understand the words while it also has a great beat.

6. Emotions - Mariah Carey

You got me feeling emotions! Oh boy... this is a song I cannot take seriously because of the damn lawnmower vine... but I absolutely love to fail to get to that freaking whistle.

7. Forbidden Love - Billy

HAHAHAHA I love this song. It automatically made me think of two guys just now! One was my German teacher from a while ago. He was tall and ginger and I had such a stupid crush on him... he had a polish girlfriend :- / Nothing happened, haha, although I wished it did for a while. The other guy....haha, is someone I met in Germany. He was cute but just not my type! We used to hang out a lot because he was a friend’s roommate, but nothing happened either.

This song is playful and fun but about something kind of annoying that happens with people sometimes. It makes me feel flirty and angsty, give it a listen!

8. Bad Girls - Donna Summer

Toot, toot, hey...beep beep! This song makes me feel my RuPaul fantasy! Also, I like it because it sounds sassy. This song is one of those “I’m feeling myself” jams you just have to dance to. It’s also a killer on karaoke night, but you have to commit. Trust me.

9. Froot - MARINA (and the diamonds)

This song is soooo good. I used to listen to this on repeat for days. The thing with Marina is that she has this very interesting low voice going on and it sounds so damn fine! This song I associate with the feeling of meeting someone you feel excited for. Maybe someone you’ve known for a while but who you kind of want to flirt with but don’t go at it yet. Idk man, I love to have it play on my headphones.

10. Perfect Illusion - Lady Gaga

This song is my perfect angsty fantasy. I imagine such a dramatic story behind this song. Pain, cheating, lies, ugly crying...the whole shebang! I love singing it too because you really get to put your diaphragm into it, you have to understand I commit to it when I connect the Bluetooth of my phone to the car...

literally hate sports lmao. i had to cheer at football and basketball games for seven years, and i'll never get those seven years back.

Domestic ace!Deaky Headcanons #2

Request: Can I get some more domestic fluff/drama stuff for our ace!Deaky couple? First fight/fights in general, sickness stuff, dealing with being apart when he’s on tour, first date, proposal/wedding, dealing with public hate/nonacceptance (and/or stuff with reader’s parents on that front), meeting the respective families the first time, injuries (like the time Deaky got super drunk and smashed a window/needed stitches). Any/all of these are great stuff (I know I listed a lot :P)! Thanks once again!!! - @smittyjaws

Part 1

A/N: here it is! Part two, finally! I hope you like it and if anyone wants me to elaborate on any subject in particular I’d be happy to write some blurbs/one-shots! Requests are still open! - Lou !

You were a serious deal even before the band went on tour but when they left it sucked for you.

It got much worse after you and Deaky got married.

Although Roger still struggled to wrap his head around how in the hell your relationship worked, he was happy to walk you down the aisle when your parents refused to even go to the wedding.

Which brings us to:

Número uno(1): Meeting his parents

John proposed! He did it! Boy finally decided on doing it, to be real money was not easy to come by and he had been saving for a while when Freddie noticed.

The bassist cut down on small things, but Freddie usually spent his check as soon as he got it so he noticed Deaky would drink less at bars, maybe he wouldn’t be buying as many records...that sort of thing. At first Freddie thought you two were struggling to make ends meet, since you were such a young couple and you being still in school meant you could only work part time.

“So, how’s everything at home, Deaky?” Freddie wondered during a break while they had band practice at the studio.

“Perfect,” John smiled at his friend right away, thinking of you made him look like an idiot - which was a good sign, his band mates reckoned. “Y/N and I are going to my parents’ this weekend, I’ve told them everything about her, I think they’ll love her. I just hope she feels welcome.” John frowned at the memory of picking her up from her parents’ home not even a month ago. She had broken down in the car immediately, handing John a pamphlet for a mental institution specialised in “sexual deviation”.

Freddie had heard from yourself, so he thought your boyfriend would want you to be comfortable with who you were at least while you were at John’s home.

“That does sound nice,” Freddie then looked at his friend up and down, examining him. “Have you thought about marriage? You two seem very mature...I’d say it would only be natural that...if you’re not struggling with money maybe you have some savings for...let’s say...a ring?”

“A ring?” Roger and Brian walked in with cups of tea in their hands. “Who’s got a ring?” Roger wondered.

“Nobody. Not yet.” Freddie have John a knowing look.

“Oh, are you planing on proposing to Y/N?” Brian asked with shock.

“Well...we’ve spoken about it, I suppose I could...”

“That’s great!” Brian encouraged his friend, “I think you’d make a brilliant couple.”

So you find yourself sitting with Deaky in his parents living room. You were nervous, desperate to avoid any touchy subjects to make a good impression on his family.

Deaky has a very open relationship with his parents, it seems, since they know everything about you.

“We heard you are studying history! How exciting, do you enjoy it?” His mother wonders, and unlike your mother she seems genuinely interested in hearing you, instead of pestering you about choosing a better field of studies.

“I do!” You smile at the woman, “I’m currently taking a part time job at the Natural History Museum,” you let your mouth run and tell your boyfriend’s family everything about your job. “And of course, we have many kids come in lately, they have the most wonderful questions! Make me wonder too!” You laugh excitedly with the cup of tea in your hands.

Deaky loves to see you get along with everyone and relaxes, he puts his arm over your chair and his gaze is fixed on you until his father asks a question you did not expect.

“John, have you told this young lady about your ways?” His parents, although accepting were still uncomfortable with the name.

Your mouth becomes dry and you are ready for the storm but he gives his father a side smile and then looks at his mother with confidence.

“Yeah, of course! And actually,” he paused to wrap his arm around your shoulders, he squeezes you to his side. “We’re both aces, mum!”

“Oh, really?” The woman wonders with a shocked expression.

You set the tea down and brace for impact, already waiting for her to throw you two out of her house.

“That is so wonderful!” The woman cheers and places her hand on her son’s while his father remains quiet, a small smile hidden in his eyes. “So wonderful, love!” She kisses her son’s cheeks. “Do tell us, how did you meet?” She pats your hand in excitement.

After a wonderful afternoon you two drive back home and you stop John before he steps out. You kiss him, because you really have no words and don’t know how else would you be able to express such love, gratitude and respect that you have for him.

Número dos (2): His proposal!

Deaky makes breakfast for you almost every morning, but this morning is different. He has told the guys that he will ask you to marry him today so they let him off the hook for a few hours.

When you wake up that morning in your pyjamas the first thing catching your attention is his arm on your waist and opening your eyes to see his angelic face in front of you.

“Good morning Love.” He mutters.

“Morning sunshine!” You sing in your morning voice.

John almost pulls you out of bed and into the shower. He shoves you around all morning, not in a bad way, just enough to make you move as he promises to take you to a beautiful coffee shop.

You don’t know what’s going on, he might just want to tell you some news about the band. Maybe they finished their record a bit early or they have the dates for the next tour.

You have no idea, but you suspect he will tell you something.

And he does.

As you’re about to finish your coffee and biscuits, you see John reach inside the pocket of his jacket. He then goes on one knee and your boyfriend is suddenly showing you a beautiful and modest engagement ring!

You have no words, and you start tearing up because you cannot express how much you want to say yes. You cannot tell him how much he means to you, so you nod your head and open your arms so he can hold you and as soon as your chin is on his shoulder you tell him:

“I love you so much!”

“And I love you!” He pulls away to pick out the ring and slide in on your finger. You stare at his face, admiring his dark lashes before his eyes meet yours. And although Deaky rarely ever kisses you, he cups your face and does exactly that!

He brings his lips to yours and the brush is barely there, but it’s so soft you know what he means by it. You enjoy the warmth and the company, the complicity you two have that goes beyond anything.

And you’re getting married!

Número tres (3): the falling out with your family.

This one is short: as soon as you told your parents that you were getting married to Deaky they flipped.

They thought you were making a mistake and tried to have you visit a mental institution(again), they insisted that John was brainwashing you, that you didn’t know what was right for yourself. Your mother even used the words:

“You need a real man, not a psycho!”

So you lost the chance of having them at your wedding.

Which brings us back to Roger walking you down the aisle.

He was all smug about it, telling Freddie that he got the honour, rubbing it on Brian’s face.

“It doesn’t matter if you called it, Y/N chose me!”

And after your wedding things got difficult.

Deaky went on tour quite a lot and although you finished school and took a full time job at the museum you are never busy enough to ignore the company of your best friend and husband.

You waited all day for his nightly calls.

He never missed a single phone call. John will always call and ask about your day, he tells you about his, and then you talk about some plan you have for when he comes back home.

“I want to write a book, you know?” You tell him one night.

For the rest of the tour you spend the last bit of your phone calls bouncing ideas for your book with John.

It’s a fun way of doing something together while you are miles and miles away.

Some days when you’re feeling lonely and miss him too much you put on one of shirts and play one of the band’s records.

Deaky carries around a picture of you that he took during your short little honeymoon. In it you are wearing his favorite dress he bought you and a sun hat.

He misses you a lot, especially on nights when they go to after parties, cause he wishes you could be there with him.

You have a hard time with people being ignorant and rude, so you only tell your closest friends about your asexuality, which rids you of many problems with the general public and the media.

Deaky getting injured is The Worst.

He is not a big baby, but you get mad at him, especially when you know it is his fault.

The problem? Well you are angry he would let himself get hurt, and you are also worried! You don’t want to see your husband getting stitches.

So you’re basically his angry nurse when he gets hurt.

When you get hurt, now that’s fun, John freaking cradles you. He is a guard dog, no joke. You can get him to do anything.

He will even do the dishes!

Ahhh, I’m sorry if I missed something! You can always give me clear directions (or let me run free!) and get yourself some headcanon/blurb/oneshot love from yours truly!
