Animal Crossers who only ever played New Horizons will never understand the pain of a villager suddenly deciding to move in the very middle of your garden or planned area. I envy these players yet they feel inexperienced, unknowing of what true hatred for a pink pixel frog who's catchphrase is "splish" is like.

The other day in Animal Crossing, I gave Puddles a frog as a gift in hopes of getting some sort of funny dialogue from her, but nothing happened and I was so disappointed!
I know that there are some dialogue options that are for specific animals because the other day Lobo was all like “sometimes I can help but howl at the full moon!” (Even though it wasn’t full that night)
But there are also some lines of dialogue that are for specific personalities but the species of the villager is not taken into account, like Flo complaining about how cold it is or it being too cold to go swimming and how she doesn’t have a swimsuit (this was months ago, I don’t remember exactly what she said) but she’s a penguin! They are made to go swimming in the icy cold water! And the swimsuit thing is probably just because they wear clothing.
I had Weber and Drago both have the same exact conversation with me about how cool it would be to fly, if they just practiced enough, like their grandma did to get whatever hard to pronounce job that she has, so that must be a lazy personality line of dialogue, but Weber is a duck! Those can fly!
I just wish that I had thought to give Zucker an octopus before he moved out to see if he might have had a more interesting reaction than Puddles did. But she has put the frog on display in her house, so that’s something, lol.

i made this cool sunken fossil dig area! whoever's doing the research and digging here needs to hurry so the fossil can be placed in the museum before the sunken area fills with water
