Sometimes I remember that the only reason Cas is canonically a weirdo even by angel standards is just because Misha, the first onscreen angel, made the acting choice to portray angels as inhuman and eerie, and then all of the subsequent angel actors just ignored that and portrayed the angels as regular people.

This scene is so tragically funny to me because the people sitting around them were probably thinking that they were such a cute couple on a date who can't get enough of each other, sharing food, so in love that they're all giggly throwing heart eyes left and right when in reality Dean was asking his angel boyfriend to kill him in various ways.

I still say they should have been given real wings. I know Dean would tease play and stretch out his wings. and with Castile’s wings and to get on Cass’s last nerve and dean would pluck a few of feathers and give one to his friends.
