I know by the immediate look of my blog, I may seem like those users who only like the CW show and want things all gritty and shit and will go on and on about how the show is a holy grail of an adaption and that Green Arrow and the Canaries should've been greenlit and that Stephen Amell is the best version of Oliver Queen and blah, blah, blah, etc. all that weird nonsense. I'm not. I literally only like Mia because she shares Clary Fray's actress from The Mortal Instruments TV Show and I prefer The Flash over Arrow as being peak DC TV (Nora West-Allen, no one will ever have an impact like you had). Mia's like a watered-down mixture of Mia Dearden (who thank fucking goodness, finally returned to us) and Laurel Lance-Queen (who should be the basis of Ollie's daughter on Earth 1...Earth 0? Earth-Prime? I forget what Convergence named the Post-Flashpoint Earth.)

The main DC chars that I really like are - Cissie King-Jones/Arrowette II - the Rogues (although my absolute favourites from them are Harley Rathaway/Pied Piper, Axel Walker/Trickster II, and Lisa Snart/Golden Glider) - Alinta/Bolt - Roy Harper/Arsenal/Red Arrow - Wally West/Flash III - Tommy Merlyn/Dark Archer II (the Kingdom arc one, not the show one) - and, of course, all of the Arrowfam (which also includes Cissie)

I'm mainly into Infinite Frontier and DC Rebirth and I've read a decent amount of Post-Crisis stuff but I'll eventually branch out into Pre-Flashpoint/Post-Identitiy Crisis DC. Don't worry. Other than that, my main interests are: - Ultraman (I tend to hyperfocus on the manga but I like the franchise as a whole) - Kamen Rider - Fate/Grand Order - Gundam: The Witch From Mercury - and BOOM! considering making a post about how horatio is... used? accounted for? in the productions of r&g are dead that i've watched and listened to cause 3/4 (not counting the movie) have, as almost certainly unintentional consequences of their choices, gotten me thinking about that one post i made and frothing at the mouth a bit, in different ways

#not today cause i'm sleepy but. perhaps tomorrow (as a distraction from the work i actually have to do) #ragad #rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead #the ones i'm thinking of specifically are: #ntl (2017) having their horatio be double-cast as a silent extra in the background of some scenes with r&g talking to the king & queen #players' ring having the Player play horatio at the ending #and the 2007 radio drama having hamlet read out his letter to horatio during the pirate attack (to help explain what's happening) #but then cutting his lines at the end entirely #and ALSO cutting “he that thou knowest thine” from the letter. which... i'll save my thoughts for the post #UPDATE: i just looked on internet archive for the original radio play production from 1978 to see if it did the same as the 2007 one #and it basically does re: the letter #(including cutting ''he that thou knowest thine'' - though i think now i get why (why in the not brain-rotty sense that is)) #but it does basically the whole ending bit of hamlet starting from some of the prince's last lines #so horatio does get to be the one who closes it out #i doubt he shows up any earlier - based on the credits he's not doubled with anyone - and i'm not checking to find out
