I feel like we all can agree that Kaya is one of the most underrated American Girls.

💖 My Doll Shelf: 2023 💖
I kept forgetting to post this; while it’s still mostly the new year, here’s my doll shelf from 2023!
I started seriously collecting in 2023, starting with Draculaura. I am pretty happy with my little doll family so far 💞

hi! I'm new to AGblr but I've loved american girl since at least 2011 (when I was nine!)
And lately I've been hyperfixating (I have OCD) to cope with stress and pain in life recently and I wanna create this blog, to post fanart, book reviews, and doll pictures!
I mainly like AG for the historical line (I have a few historical doll ocs!)
Tried to do a photoshoot with my Kaya doll in her Pow Wow dress of today that i got for Christmas 🎄
Love her sm she is one of the best ever American girl dolls ❤ ✨
Hope the quality is okay I just screenshotted it from my instagram LOL
Her story to me is that I found her in goodwill and was happy
and lately ive been trying to give my dolls more attention so ofc that includes her

DIY KAYA STUFF
*Note since Kaya is part of the Nimiipuu tribe (Nez Perce) her collection (especially her clothes) have very specific things that would belong to her tribe/culture. I have tried my best to find things that would fit her collection, not just generic Native American things, that look like they were from party city so she might have less stuff (like clothes and stuff). I have tried my best to find DIYS and patterns with tips on making them more accurate (some of them would have absolutely no connection to Kaya if originally done their way. I am not part of the Nimiipuu tribe, and I mean absolutely no disrespect towards them, if anything I’ve included is not accurate or if anyone has any critiques, please tell me so I can fix it ASAP. Also, the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 makes it illegal for someone to sell something, suggesting it was made by Native Americans or specific tribes if they are not part of that culture

Happy Dollidays: Day 3 (Kaya)
So, since 2022 saw my collection land at a nice round dozen, I thought it would be fun to get all my dolls in their most festive outfits and do our own version of 12 days of Christmas—the Dolliday edition!
This year, I managed to acquire Kaya’s Pow-Wow Dress of Today, so I wanted to take a chance to show it off just a little bit more!

My sister got me Mini Kaya as a souvenir from the airport in Florida. She’s beautiful. I’m slowly collecting these precious dollies as I find them locally, so Kaya was a special treat!
