OKay so when I started watching Adventures in Wonderland I knew I recognized Hare's pants pattern from somewhere else:

64. Christmas In Wonderland

It's really no wonder that this is the most common episode mentioned when you ask the cast of the show which one is their favorite. It's got so much heart in it mixed with just the right amount of zanyness.

Since I've already drawn a picture based off this episode (see my tribute to Armelia from 2020) I decided to draw something from another thing that makes this episode in particular different: it's the only one with a new intro and theme song. I tried to pepper in references to the happenings of the episode, but most of this is the opening.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful winter holiday season and a fun New Year. I'll be back on January 5th with more artwork from the last 3rd of the season! Beware the Walrus!

I really loved Gowns and Roses, it was really adorable to see Rabbit showcase the Queen’s clothing line by any means necessary, and the Queen really appreciated the effort even if it didn’t reach her desired result. It was great seeing that the Queen really does love Rabbit, and he does too despite how much they annoy each other lol. this is also my first time drawing the White Rabbit! I think he turned out pretty good for a first time, but I’ll definitely have to get used to drawing him eventually :,)

In the first couple of episodes (maybe even the first-first) Hatter and Hare had an entire argument song about who should do the grocery shopping bc they both hated it so much, and in an episode somewhere in the forties range, they came back from the grocery store together, grinning, having had a jolly good time (and one of them having been pushed around in the shopping cart) and they’re both looking forward to their next shopping trip

Some may call it continuity error; I call it character development. Hubbies did a first grocery run together and then realized it could actually be fun if they both went instead of going solo and now they love shopping as a team, where in Wonderland can you get such an excellent arc of personal growth?

Feeling a little guilty that I won't be posting tomorrow and since today is Leap Day I figured this would be a good time to share White Rabbits Can't Jump. For those who don't know, it takes place on Leap Day, so it felt like the perfect opportunity.

This book is fascinating for a few reasons. Other than the OJ Simpson thing (which yeah, okay...) but a couple of the pictures in the book feel oddly unpolished. Like, the photo of Alice and Queenie on pg5 looks like they're laughing at a crew member's joke and Rabbit has no gloves on Pg15.

I'm grateful that this was released since it gives us a sense of what the episode would have looked like. We have no indication of what the songs would have been like, but I like to think that they gave OJ a number to make a fool of himself.

These scans aren't mine so I can't take credit for them, but I was able to find a CBZ file and converted it to a PDF. (I have a copy of the book but it's in storage somewhere.) If you'd like higher quality scans of the images, I know most (if not all) are available on TeaforTen's Blog.
