the closest thing i have to a recurring dream is driving a car that crashes into a body of water and i drown (well i wake up before that happens usually) but last night i was a passenger and a man was driving, plus there was someone with us too. no clue where we were but the guy was driving recklessly and drove into a lake. someone i knew it was going to happen but i put my seatbelt on like a minute before it did…and then as the car began to sink i just took it off and somehow just got out. the other passenger did too but not the driver. i’ve never “survived” one of these before 🤔

You might be experiencing winter in Minnesota if it's 3:30 in the afternoon and you've already pulled the shades and turned all the lights on for the evening.

Interesting how immediately after hearing his tape Lawrence has like no reaction to hearing that his wife and child will die if he doesn’t kill Adam, and almost immediately he focuses his energy on hearing Jigsaw’s whispered “follow your heart.”
A large part of Lawrence’s characterization in the first part of the first movie is his stoicism in the face of… well most things really, but if it were me and I’d just been told my family were at risk and I was chained in a fucking bathroom with a stranger and no way to get to them, I’d have a considerably more substantial reaction. I don’t think I would have even heard the whisper.
Also the juxtaposition of him being told about Alison and Diana’s involvement in his game and that phrase, “follow your heart.” A phrase that is almost entirely used in romantic contexts. Like I get that it’s just Jigsaw setting up a clue but it’s so intriguing that it almost seems like Jigsaw is prompting Lawrence to choose: your wife or this twink you just met 10 minutes ago.

Alison being pregnant might mean that we get a parody of the nativity scene in the Christmas special and if so, I called it

I think the ending of ghosts would've been easier as a viewer had it not felt like such a split second decision but. it was, was it not? I would've liked to have been prepared for it throughout the entire season, but, whether intentional or not, it was bittersweet to feel what alison must've felt. she did what was best for mia, and while I love the idea of her growing up around the ghosts, I am genuinely so proud of alison for making the hardest decision that she thought she'd already made. and I'm even prouder of my silly little fictional ghosts for letting her go, for allowing her and her family to grow and change. that was the most selfless decision and it really shows how much they've changed and grown, season one ghosts would never have done something so hard. letting go is bittersweet and it hurts, but it doesn't mean the end

So you know how when people who dress casually 99% of the time dress up all fancy and smart, they look 10x hotter than normal? And vice versa for people usually dress up? Like, that's a thing, right? OK, so a moment of silence for Andrew's heart (which totally wouldn't skip a beat) when he sees Neil dressed up smartly for the first time. And for Renee the when she sees Alison not done up to the nines.

a list of crimes committed by alison cooper:
assault (technically not committed on purpose, but could’ve been construed as such by the builder who she, very violently, threw a mug at)
failure to comply with building regulations (was told the house was structurally unsafe after building work and not to have X-amount of people in one room at any one time, but lied about it for monetary gain which then led to a workplace accident)
blackmail (knew about barclay’s tax avoidance and used it against him to save herself money in legal fees)
confidence trickery/fraud (conned several paranormal investigators)
criminal damage (punctured a guest’s tyres)
bribery (to stop her driveway being “fixed” by the council)
told the captain he couldn’t sing (isn’t actually a crime but should be)
bonus morally dubious behaviour:
genuinely thought barclay was going to die and was happy to let him do so without helping him as long as he didn’t die on her land
