The gold of the Nauglamir still glittered dully beneath the rapidly drying blood of its previous bearer. Beren lifted the necklace carefully by the chain and held it at arm’s length, examining it closely. His scalp prickled as he thought of the last time he had seen the thing, gleaming at the throat of King Finrod Felagund. Now it seemed merely a twisted echo of its former self, and when he looked at it he saw nothing but the image of Finrod lying on the cold stone floor with blood covering his face and his eyes staring up at the darkness.
At last his eyes were drawn reluctantly down to the jewel, which burned clean and bloodless in its setting. It looked grotesquely out-of-place, he thought, wondering what had possessed Thingol to combine what must be the two most ostentatious pieces of jewelry in the world into one horrifying creation. The Silmaril caught the light so effectively even as it generated its own that Beren could hardly bear to look at it, yet he did not glance away. It seemed to be daring him to do so, but he thought he would let himself go blind before he allowed the damned thing to best him.  
“The gem is yours, if it is anyone’s,” a voice said close to his ear, and Beren jumped. He had become quite good at detecting the silent approaches of the Lindi, but Almwë could still sneak up on him when he was distracted. The elf appeared unhurt, and his narrow face was devoid of emotion, but his movements had lost some of their grace to weariness. Beren had caught glimpses of him during the battle; Almwë had been everywhere, a deadly whirlwind that swept through Nogrod’s forces and prevented as many as possible from reaching his people, most of whom bore no weapons other than bows and arrows.
Seeing Beren grimace at his suggestion, Almwë said, “Give it to Lúthien, if you wish. It may be of some comfort to her, though I am sure nothing will please her more than your safe return, and the boy’s.”
“What should we do with the rest of it?” Beren asked, indicating the spoils taken from Doriath that now lay in the dirt and blood among the bodies.
Almwë shrugged, disinterested. “It is cursed. Drown it in the river.”
Beren nodded, suddenly feeling very tired. Though he could not match Almwë’s ferocious pace, he had fought as hard as the elf in the heat of battle, never faltering until all of their enemies had fled or fallen. But now that the anger and desperation had faded, it was catching up to him. I’m not as young as I used to be, he thought, then laughed softly to himself when he remembered how many times he’d heard his grandfather or Aunt Andreth or Uncle Bregolas say those exact words.  
Almwë gave him a strange look, but said nothing.

I’m often asked why I live my truth out loud, saying I’m a trans woman and showing pictures of myself pre transition. 12 unique advantages of LED lighting
Energy Conservation and sustainable development is no longer a selective issue, but it is the only way of world’s future development. Led as the representative of the new light source lighting to replace the traditional light source, it is causing a great change in lighting industry. Driven by innovative technology, the new lighting products are constantly being updated, from incandescent lamps to energy-saving lamps, halogen lamps to LED lamps. The lighting products have achieved energy-saving upgrades, and at the same time, they have also been improved in comfort, the lighting effect is also more diverse. Haynes presented a study on P-N junction of semiconductor germanium, G. A. Wolff studied the luminescence of Gallium Phosphide; in 1968, the first red LED was produced by Monsanto and HP in the United States, making it an electronic product.
(1) energy conservation: the spectrum of leds is almost entirely concentrated in the visible light band, with a luminous efficiency of 80 to 90 per cent. The results show that the
luminous efficiency of the ordinary incandescent lamp is 12 lm/w, the life is less than 2000 hours, and the luminous efficiency of the spiral fluorescent lamp is 60 LM/W, with a life span of less than 8,000 hours, the T5 fluorescent lamp has a 96 ALMW life span of about 10,000 hours, while the 5 mm diameter white LED has a life span of 20 something 28 LLMW and can last more than 100000 hours. Some also predict an infinite upper limit on the lifetime of future leds.
The conventional wisdom is that cfls can save up to four fifths of energy, but leds can save up to a quarter more than cfls, a far greater innovation for Solid State Lighting. In addition, LED also has other advantages, high-quality light, basically no radiation, is a typical green lighting source, reliable and durable, very low maintenance costs, and so on. Because LED has the above other solid light source is unable to match the characteristics, 10 years later LED lighting industry will be the mainstream light source.
(2) safety and Environmental Protection: LED working voltage is low, mostly 1.4 something 3v; ordinary LED working current is only 10mA, ultra-high brightness is only 1a. For example, for leds made of GaAs material, the response frequency of τmc is about 16 something 160 mhz in the range of 1 something 10 ns, this high response rate is sufficient for displaying a 6.5 mhz video signal, which is one of the key factors in achieving a video LED large screen.
At present, the lowest LED response time has reached 1 microsecond, the general for a few milliseconds, about the common light source response time 1/100. Therefore, it can be used in many high-frequency environments, such as car brake lights or state lights, can shorten the braking time of the vehicle behind the car, thus improving safety.

(11) The size of the semiconductor luminescent layer and the List of semiconductor materials forbidden band can be controlled: thereby emitting light of various colors and having a higher degree of color.
(12) High color rendering: will not cause harm to the human eye.

Uso de GNU Nano, Como Software Distraction-free Para Escribir Literatura y Manuales de forma Profesional Y Sin Distracciones en Linux.

¡Usa lo más simple, no te compliques!
En nuestros sistemas libres como GNU/Linux, a veces tenemos instalados ciertos software que obviamos de lado por creer que son para cosas puntuales o extremadamente sencillas por ignorancia o bien porque nos enamoró otro editor y creemos que es lo mejor, y uno de ellos que usamos poco para cosas profesionales es GNU Nano.
Cuando se trata de escribir eficientemente, las herramientas que utilizamos son cruciales para nuestro éxito. Cuanto más simple, mejor.
Estoy probando algunas herramientas de escritura sin distracciones y después de jugar con ellas durante unos días, vuelvo regularmente a LibreOffice para hacer mi trabajo, pero para hacer la segunda fase de edición.
Como decía Hemingway, > «*Escribe borracho, edita sobrio*»
Al escribir nuestros textos, muchos de ustedes saben que van apareciendo en la mente las escenas y uno  lo va describiendo en el teclado ─o en el papel─, y para ello no quieres ser molestado o distraído.
Recordé que siempre tuve una herramienta de línea de comandos instalada en mi estación de trabajo Linux que usaba poco para otras cosas como editar los archivos de configuración de otros programas, ediciones banales y sencillas, pero después de preguntarme si podría servirme para escribir de forma profesional y como es un software tan maduro, me dije ¡vamos a estudiarlo!, y luego de revisar sus opciones, me di cuenta que pudo haberme ahorrado y salvado de estallidos temporales de locura hace años...
Pero, después de leer la página de manual de nano, encontré algunas opciones interesantes.
En un terminal típico de UNIX / Linux, se puede escribir el siguiente comando y disfrutar de un entorno de escritura sin distracciones que realmente nos ayuda a lograr nuestro objetivo.
> $ nano -alMw$
#### ¿Pero, que es Nano? O GNU/Nano, es un editor de texto simple que suelen traer nuestros sistema operativos por defecto, o está disponible en la mayoría de las distribuciones linux.
Mas información la puedes conseguir en Wikipedia es software libre, bajo la licencia pública general GNU.
La forma típica de instalar en sistema Debian y derivadas es la siguiente si usamos sudo.
> $ sudo apt install nano
#### Configurando GNU/Nano modo libre de distracciones para escritores. La configuración se realiza pasando opciones de línea de comandos al programa.
> nano       -alMw$

Las siguientes opciones son necesarias para crear el entorno de escritura libre de distracciones que puede ver en la captura de pantalla anterior.
>`-a líneas de ajuste en el espacio en blanco.` > > `-l mostrar números de línea.` > > `-M eliminar espacios en blanco al final de las líneas envueltas.` > > `-w deshabilita el ajuste de líneas largas.` > > `-$ enable soft-wrapping (continuar en varias líneas).`
Esta configuración podría guardarse de forma permanente en `~/.config/nano/nanorc` . Sin embargo, esto es opcional, en mi caso, necesito tener nano por defecto para otros fines que también uso a diario, pero en tu caso puedes hacerlo si te gusta.
#### Configurando la Terminal Linux.
Aquí vamos a colocar la forma que se nos presentará la terminal linux para escribir. Dependiendo de tu entorno de trabajo, si es Gnome, KDE, esto puede variar, pero como este artículo está enfocado a usuarios que tienen equipos con bajos recursos, supongo que estás usando como escritorio o entorno de escritorio XFCE, LXQT, o bien LXDE, las opciones entre estos escritorios no son del otro mundo, son muy parecidas o muy básicas por lo cual serán muy intuitivas, y se ajustarán de acuerdo a tu pantalla, si usas doble monitor, o uno solo, si usas uno pequeño como el de las minilaptos o un monitor normal, en este caso solo mostraré las generales para que un ser humano común pueda trabajar.

#### Trabajar con Nano.
Para crear un nuevo archivo:
> `$ nano -alMw$ archivo_nuevo.txt`

Y así tenemos un entorno de redacción libre de distracciones, donde puedo resaltar algunas cosas que noté de primera mano.
* Nano consume minimo de recursos en comparación a otros editores de textos, supuestamente livianos. * Si bien no se elimina las ventana del todo ni te ocupa el 100% de la pantalla del computador,  es claro que se apodera una gran parte de este. * El menú inferior no es molesto. * La tabulación fluirá libremente, lo que han trabajado con Nano con anterioridad saben que la linea de texto se irá hacia la salida derecha de la pantalla, pero gracias a la opcion `-w y -$` podemos escribir tranquilamente y el texto al finalizar la linea pasará a la linea siguiente en pantalla, aunque forme parte de la linea sin hacer el salto o la entrada con la tecla de entrada o «enter».
Generalmente Nano viene en el idioma del sistema, y solo debes acostumbrarte al uso de algunos de sus comandos que con la práctica se hace mas fácil cada día. Pero te describiré algunos rápidamente.
* Control+G o ^G: Ver Ayuda * ^O Guardar :guardar documento * ^W Buscar : buscar una palabra en sí, ubica al cursor en la primera letra o carácter del texto buscado. * ^K Cortar txt: cortar texto, tambien puedes usarlo para copiar. * ^U Pegar txt: pega el texto copiado/cortado. * ^J Justificar (usar con cuidado, ajusta forzadamente todo el texto escrito en un parrafo, no recomendable para la literatura, se usa para otros fines) * ^X Salir para salir del programa, si hicimos cambios nos preguntará una confirmación, y si no, se sale automáticamente.
#### Conclusiones.
Creo que como esta simple herramienta, muy pocas existen, en verdad hay muchas opciones orientadas a ser distraction-free o libre de distracciones tanto libres como privativas, pero tan livianas como esta me atrevería a decir ninguna, tampoco es la mejor, estoy seguro, pero si la mas versátil.
Muchos editores de texto, como VIM, Emacs, y otros más se pueden usar como editores libre de distracciones, pero requieren la incorporación de plugins adicionales, que bien depende del creador, pueden disminuir el rendimiento de nuestro sistema con bajos recursos —recuerden que escribo principalmente para dueños de equipos con bajos recursos—, en cambio con esta opción contamos con un editor por defecto dispuesto a servirnos como una opción válida para escribir nuestros textos. Para escribir artículos, capítulos de nuestras novelas, blog, y otras más de verdad es una herramienta a considerar, no ocupa mucho espacio ni consume tantos recursos.
Tiene muchos trucos más, muchas opciones, por lo cual te recomiendo a que lo revises, y compartas, si tienes alguna duda, no olvides comentar y compartir. ¡Un saludo y hasta el próximo artículo!
