So finished my rewatch of all of ninjago that is easily available on Netflix (so the original, day of the departed and some of the shorts I could not watch)
Theories about dragons rising and therefore SPOILERS
While the merge would’ve happened no matter what BUT Ras and Beatrix triggered it early
Ras’s master is the overlord
Land of the Lost tells us what’s going on with the Departed Realm. It could’ve shown up on the map but once you’re in you can’t leave it creates a fog
Lloyd could’ve ended up in the land of the lost as a kid
I have decided that Spitz is actually Skales Junior but he got separate from his family during one of the events in Ninjago and they all thought he died and he lost all his memories
Fritz is a formling and judging by his hat he has a bird form. I’m hc that he got lost and stuck in the land of lost things during Zane’s reign and by the time anyone was able to remember him it was too late
Geo, is so obviously is love with Cole but I’m sorry I ship Cole and Vania and I won’t be swayed maybe they can be poly but I feel like a lot of Geo’s affection for Cole may come from him being the Son of Lilly and so he feels like he is the only one who can truly accept him
The Merge had to have messed with people’s memories because Lloyd keeps being treated like this perfect angel and no one wants to mention how much of a menace he was a child and I think Sora and Arin would greatly benefit from learning that (and not just in haha he was a menace and he’s getting payback from them. I really think it will help them in their learning)
Cole is most definitely going to be the one to find Jay
The administration is a nightmare but also far too real but maybe that’s just because I live in the US (cries in victim of capitalism)
The Administrator has to be either PIXAL or Garmadon but a fun twist would be Mindroid or Borg
Misako realistically would be dead by this point the youngest she could be before the Merge was mid 70s (I refuse to believe she and Garmadon got married before she was 20 because I’m so tired of cartoon woman being questionably young. I don’t care if that means she was late 40 early 50s when she had Lloyd it’s possible and actually not uncommon) BUT this is Ninjago so she’s probably alive and researching stuff
Also did anyone notice that the temple grave place Nya and Sora went to had a pillar that matched one in the Monastery and they show it immediately after in almost the same place I am really hopeful that’s important
PIXAL better be living her best life building stuff for fun and profit and they only thing missing is Zane and she just really misses him but otherwise everything is perfect for her and she won’t have to leave that but instead just move it to the monastery or the crossroads
The Geckle chancellor knew it was Zane he just didn’t recognize him at first and was embarrassed about it so he tried to cover it up by saying not even Zane himself could live up to Zane
Blazey H Speed/Racer 7 is Kreel change my mind
The explorers club has branched out significantly and now every major city that will allow them has a club house
The ninja are adults in this and you can’t change my mind
I think Lloyd is late 20s early 30s
I know Wu or the first spinjitzu master is probably who the big source dragon was talking about but I really hope it was the good part of Garmadon I just would really like to see that and it would also be funny if there were multiple versions of Garmadon running around because of Harumis ritual and then like the merge caused him to further split apart. It would be hilarious

I've said this before a long time ago, but I have some silly headcanons for Zane in the Never Realm.
I have a feeling that, instead of Vex making him lose his memory, that Zane was instead very badly damaged. He would always be close to shutdown, until he held onto the staff, as it acted as a power-source. So, despite his own wishes, he held onto it, so he could persevere.
For a bit, he makes video logs for the ninja, or anyone who finds them. Over the course of these logs, its clear he is slowly losing himself, before they stop all together, saying that if no long comes after it- he should be assumed dead. While he tried to find missing parts to the ship, or clues on how to get home, he runs into Akita's village. He stays with them for a very long time, doing their best to help, though he is very snappy and stressed. He eventually meets a very young Akita, being told a prophecy about her defeating him one day, at a large cost.
Overtime, the staff's power began to chip away at Zane's mind and control, think Ice King/Simon's crown. He began to lose his memory, things became fuzzy, and he became corrupted. He drifts from his neutral good mindset, to a more chaotic evil state. Though his friendship with little Akita started great, he began to grow distant, even forgetting who she was at times. When told of the prophecy, his own insanity had taken too much from him, and he fled out of the fear of death.
He meets Vex, now able to manipulate this fear of the Formlings and Akita, and convincing Zane to take over the castle across the frozen lake. Zane agrees, desperate to have enough power to stay away from death. He needed to get back, stay alive long enough. But now he couldn't even remember what he was staying alive for.
After ruling for a long time, the Corruption fully seeps in, all his memories long gone. However, he has a deep bitterness and hatred repressed down deep, angry with the ninja for forgetting him and leaving him behind for decades. When he finally meets Lloyd, he can't remember him, but only feel deep hatred. So, it plays out similarly. However, when Akita attempts to assassinate Zane.
She is killed.
The cost of defeating Zane was her own death.
The death of someone at his own hands, someone he once had a connection too, something he did so absentmindedly... it shocks him. He sees Lloyd again, though he isnt sure who he is he feels shame, and guilt. Watching the boy cry for the Kitsune, he knows that he must be stopped.
But the Staff is completely attached to his hand. So, he rips of his forearm, then collapsing due to the loss of power. When he wakes up, Pixal is fixing him, along with Jay and Nya.
They look scared.
He barely remembers who he is. He is unconscious, being worked on for about two weeks, struggling to remember. The corruption leaves a lasting affect on Zane's mind, making him extremely mentally unwell.
He is sad, and for a while, Everyone is afraid of him!
Yay angst! wooho!

Haha lol Ice Emperor goes Brrrr part 4
Whispered voices filled the dungeon. Quiet, their words traveled only so far as an arm could reach, the murmur of something dark echoing in rolling waves that masked the truth of the matter.
A smile filled the dark, jagged.
In the same moment, a key jingled in a frozen steel lock.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
The life of an Emperor was difficult. Any mistake could be fatal for either his warriors or himself. He had to be on guard eternally, for usurpers would not miss the chance. So, it was a surprise when he drifted off, systems powering down one by one until the world faded into the background of routine system maintenance that he didn’t even remember ignoring. Caches of information were completely wiped from his memory, unneeded in their triviality.
It was mid reboot when the pain hit. It crackled up his circuits and splintered into spiderwebbed cracks, bleeding something sickeningly thick onto the ice of his throne even as he stood, one hand finding the blade of the weapon and halting it in its tracks. His vision returned in staticy, flickering images, glitching at the sides and blinding him to the identity of his attacker.
When the usurper hissed, The Emperor snarled a mangled word in return, ice blazing from between his teeth and rising in sharp, arching spires that hit the ceiling of the hall with such a thunderous noise that the sky may fall from the force of it. “Traitor!” The second attempt at speech walled off the entrance to the hall with a thick sheet of ice so dark that it blocked the light from beyond.
His assailant fell back, skipping down the steps with light feet and snapping vitriol at him in echoes of noise. Noise. Too much Noise.
The static faded in patches as he followed them down, ice cracking and breaking in his wake as his rage fueled the staff to spread his power. His gaze landed on the form of his attacker.
A woman. He remembered her as one of the formlings he’d imprisoned for questioning not days ago. Older than the girl the Boy brought with him by far, she was wrinkled in her age, tales of her adventures written on her skin in a mural painted in sunspots and creases.
The Emperor’s staff hit the ground, and it was over. Too slow to move, the woman faced the full brunt of a shard of ice. It hit her mid-chest, and from his perch atop the last step to his throne, he heard something crack. When the first drop of blood fell, he turned to sweep a harsh eye over the destroyed main hall.
Frozen spires raised high, burying themselves into the ceiling and sending shards of wood down upon him in flakes. Dark ice blocked every entrance, blocking off his army and shadowing the entry hall unpleasantly. The Emperor exhaled in a short, tense hiss.
A tiny hand pressed itself into his stomach, followed quickly by another as a soft voice not yet even broken by age piped up from his middle. “What happened?” He almost forgot. The Boy. A check at his side, and the removal of a blade the length of his own forearm revealed a gash crumpling the metal of his body. Sparks bled out in short, quick bursts, following the trail of an oozing, blue liquid. “Z—uh—Ice Emperor?”
“A traitor.” The weapon hit the ground with a sharp clatter as the ice softened, melting into nothingness as The Emperor stalked down the rest of the climb to his throne. “Nothing of your concern, Boy.”
“You’re bleeding.” Then, quieter, “I didn’t know you could bleed.” It wasn’t meant for The Emperor, he was sure, but the very concept of it made him quicken his stride some, turning down the winding corridors his personal quarters laid in. To some extent, he was glad his past self had the forethought to make the palace grand, yet not overly large, as he managed to reach his quarters in less than a minute by his internal clock’s timing.
Still, he managed a quick, raspy “don’t touch it” on his way, even as his pain sensors ran wild with their alarm.
Squirreled away in his locked room, he struggled out of his armor and shirt, grimacing at the blue fluid that dripped in sluggish pulses from the rupture in his side. The vague idea to simply open his front panel and retrieve the child was a dangerous one, he decided after no more than a moment’s contemplation. He had no idea what the blue fluid could do to the Boy, though he knew it served some purpose as a way to prevent his temperature regulation liquids from freezing, what the compound would do to a human was beyond him.
So, with the voiceless warning of his synthetic stomach cinching along its base to prevent any contamination, The Emperor arched his back and gagged, forcing the Boy back into his throat, despite his yelping protest. From there, it was a simple reversal of the process of swallowing, made infinitely easier and far less disorienting when his systems weren’t fighting him for it.
The Boy rolled into the back of his teeth with a squeak, The Emperor’s tongue holding him in place while he raised a platform out of ice from the ground, and, upon giving it a second more to think, placed his already-ruined shirt on top for good measure. The Emperor promptly tore his mouth guard off and dropped the Boy directly onto the platform, having to take care to not raise his blue-stained hands to help stabilize him.
He tried to ignore the little hiss of a sharp breath as the Boy looked down at the dripping gash along his side, instead turning to examine it with a sharp eye.
The metal was completely crumpled, for one. Pressed inward until it couldn’t dent any more and creating harsh, jagged edges where it broke. Inside, scores of wires sparked and sizzled when they made contact with each other, and it was only his built-in redundancies that left him mostly functional after so many had been severed.
Far in the back, hidden between plating, and protected by most of his other life functions, his synthetic stomach oozed blue near its base, dripping sluggishly from a single tube cut clean through. The Emperor clicked his teeth, frustrations leaking through the sides of his mouth in the form of cold mist. The wires were an easy fix—he still had some of the black adhesive he’d awakened with, and though he may need to find a suitable replacement soon, it would be enough to last him through at least another year.
The slit lining of his stomach, however, could pose a problem. For the moment, though, he busied himself with bending his metal skin away from his far more delicate insides.
“Are you okay?” The Boy’s teeth chattered when he spoke, but The Emperor could hardly work with him taking up his mouth. It would be a distraction. He didn’t look up, something in the back of his processor telling him it would make him feel bad for the child.
His front panel was beginning to ooze blue, as well, though he didn’t have a shirt on to ruin, so he supposed it didn’t matter. What bled would simply trail down his armor to be cleaned later. “I am fine.” In the corner of his vision, the Boy shifted, The Emperor’s discarded clothing pulled up to his shoulders as he quivered.
Right. He wasn’t supposed to look.
The Emperor turned back to himself, producing a roll of adhesive strips from a chest compartment before taking the time to slowly weave the braided wires back together, wrapping the entire thing when he finished. It left the things notably less flexible than before, and they tugged painfully where they were anchored if he moved too quickly, but he would need to have more copper thread manufactured before he could fix it properly.
He bent the last piece of metal skin back into place, and his front panel opened in the same moment. Wires and functional components cleared away at a hand’s push, revealing the oozing synthetic organ that sent warnings blaring in The Emperor’s brain. A slice ran from a quarter of its width, slit straight through the metal mesh that allowed it structure, and eviscerating the important tubing within. His mind, however, lingered little on that idea, instead forming a new one quite quickly. A few more inches, and the blade could have very well skewered the Boy.
He found words spilling from behind his teeth, quiet and… soft, almost as he all-but hummed. The nigh-noiseless atmosphere of the room was too much for him to break. “You may leave here.”
“Huh?” From the sound of it, the Boy jolted when he was addressed, the shift of cloth filling the otherwise-empty room as The Emperor scowled at his hemorrhaging stomach. This would not be a simple fix. He could feel it in the way his mind interpreted its warning signs as burning, searing pain that flared up his side in flickering waves. In the way the metal mesh and silicone combination laid in manufactured perfection.
He would have to burn it closed.
“I would not chase you down. An emperor’s palace is no place for a child.” Something made it feel right. A memory, perhaps. Buried deep. Someone he knew. “You are no threat to me, Boy. I do not think that you ever were, really.” For now, The Emperor staunched the bleeding with his ice, freezing a column up through the dripping tube. It was difficult. The liquid resisted freezing enough for frost to form on the surrounding pieces before it stopped, and the resulting cold was enough for his system to raise a plethora of new warnings. He did his best to ignore them when he turned back to the Boy. “You may leave.”
The Boy did little more than stare at him. For long enough that The Emperor wo—debated—if he’d frozen solid, the Boy’s only action was to stare.
Then, as if the Boy had lost any sense at all, he spoke as though he wasn’t facing an Emperor, flippantly replying “Nah.”
A huff of frost that crystalized along the Emperor’s newly-replaced mouth guard, light enough that it couldn’t spill over the edge. His irritation at a child could only go so far… well, this child. “You will not find your friend here.”
The Boy shook his head, and when he stumbled to his feet, he drug The Emperor’s stained shirt (currently being used as some combination of blanket and cloak) with him. His expression wrinkled his nose and raised a brow, almost as if he found The Ice Emperor silly. “I’m not looking for him anymore.”
A head poked out of his door was enough to call a servant for spare clothes, and only after the footsteps had faded did he turn back to the Boy, brow raised. “Why is that?” There was no way he could have simply given up. The Boy had too much drive behind his voice for that. Did he plan to break the prisoners out?
“I just don’t think I need to look for him.” The Boy’s smile was wide—all sharp teeth and closed eyes. The Emperor detected no lie in his voice. “I’m okay here.”
It was an effort to freeze the blue liquid off his hands… what had seeped under the gloves, at least, but once it had crystalized, it was a simple matter to remove. The Boy, however, cringed at the sound of metal on metal. “I suppose I cannot begrudge you that.” He could, actually. He was the Emperor, and his palace was his to rule. He simply… didn’t want to. A novel feeling, really, when it came to the inclusion of someone so… purposeless to his army.
A shirt and a new pair of gloves slid under his door atop what likely used to be a semi-decorative serving platter. Serving platters, however, had little use for a hungerless leader. The thought let something uncomfortable settle in the back of his mind. He decided not to think too much on it, and instead slipped back into his normal attire, armor and all. The weight of it was heavy across his shoulders, but in a way that was something… comforting, even if it did make the most horrendous clanging noises when he moved too quickly. “What’s your name, Boy?”
Why he asked the question, he couldn’t tell himself or anyone. Really, it slipped from him on a whim. The bright—soft. Kind—smile the boy sent him in return, however, was more than enough motivation to not regret it.
“Lloyd.”

The Ninjago dragon rising SDCC trailer came out you can see it on the official Lego website what are your thoughts on it I myself am happy that the djinn is going to be a good guy
There's a lot to unpack with this trailer and I don't think I'm gonna be able to go over everything at once
So the main thing that excites me is seeing Cole because I missed him a lot and we get to like... actually see him this time. The other things that excites me is the fact that he appears to be hanging out with a serpentine and also what looks like a formling which is so cool! I wanna know more about these guys!
On a sadder note, it's looking like skull guy isn't Jay which means no Sans Undertale jokes for me :( I'm also wondering if we're even gonna see Jay at all since I didn't see him at all in the trailer, but I also think they're probably just waiting to reveal him when the actual episodes come out
It's really cool to see that we're getting more non-human elemental masters which is something I always thought would be a cool concept to explore, glad to see we're finally doing that. I do wonder how many new elements we're gonna see though, because I feel like they're gonna run out of cool things that would work well as an elemental power. I kind of hope that at least one of these new elemental masters has a power we've seen previously (perhaps we can get a new master of time?)
Also it's cool to see that Beatrix is still a major threat. They didn't show her in the last teaser so I was wondering if she was even gonna be relevant, but I'm glad to see that she's still here
Last thing I'm gonna mention for now is going over the teams because they mentioned splitting up into three teams, and based on the trailer those teams are gonna be Lloyd and Arin, Nya and Sora, and then Kai and Wyldfyre, which makes me wonder what Zane is gonna be doing during this? I hope he doesn't get shoved off to the side especially since we didn't get to see a lot of him in part one, but idk we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

error 404: answer not found
Akita and Zane talk after the battle in 'Awakenings'. The conversation... doesn't go as either of them expect.
Prompt: memories, from @ninjago-bingo‘s warm board:D
Tumblr media
Trigger warnings: implied self harm (one or two characters dig their fingernails into their hands), discussion and introspection about most of the crimes the 'Emperor' committed, a lot of talk and introspection about murder.
Word count: 4682 (I've literally been writing this for like a month lol, kinda disappointed it ended up fairly short:/)
"We have to talk."
The girl with red markings on her face - Akita, he heard Lloyd call her - unsheathes her short dagger, eyes narrowed to slits.
He glances around the throne room, hands pressed to his head. The memories were still trickling through; strange islands and a forest of snow, a dungeon and... a noodle factory?
"Alright," he says quietly. She bears the same red marks of the bear he can remember Vex convincing him was a criminal, many winters ago. That could only mean-
It wasn't you, he reminds himself. It was the scroll, and the actions of a power hungry traitor.
You gave the order, his now infallible memory supplies, and, honestly, he has no rebuttal for that.
"Alright," he echoes meekly, trying to muster some emotion into his voice. "I know-"
"No," she cuts him off roughly, her eyes scanning the room. It is just the two of them now - the samurai had fled once they had recovered from the strange trance he had put them in. Vex had been locked in the dungeon by Lloyd, who was helping any of the samurai who could not quite remember their old lives.
He had ruled for sixty years. Some of their families might dead, some by their own hands.
They know this. He knows this.
Irrationally, he wishes there was some way to fix this. A spell, or a way to turn back the clock; some way to yell at a younger Zane to just scout the cave-
There is no way backward; only forward, out of this winter - and, possibly, into another one.
He stares at the girl in front of him, taking in her tattered clothing, the ease with which she holds her weapon. She's not afraid to fight.
"I don't owe you an explanation, Emperor," Akita says definitely, forcing out the words. "But you will give me one, or you shall never see the light of day again. My brother-"
His heart lurches, eyes widening. Brother.
"Knows that the dungeon has many empty cells," she finishes sharply, barely contained anger flashing in her eyes.
He keeps the facts brief, concise. Once this is all over, he can dwell on them - agonize over what he should have done; use it to be better next time. Atone for his mistakes, even if he can never truly make up for them.
"A snake capable of sorcery used a magic scepter to blast me and a vehicle to this realm. I was sent here sixty years into the past, which is why it took my friends so long to find me. I was also holding a similar magic scepter - one which amplifies the holder's power, but if held for too long, it corrupts one's mind."
"I know what happens next."
How-
"I watched your message to your friends," she replies curtly, by way of explanation. "I did not know that you and the Emperor were one and the same. Continue."
"Vex interrupted a process I was using to try and fix a- vehicle, which caused me to lose my memories. He told me that I was ill. He said that he was a great friend of mine, and that this realm belonged to me. He convinced me that Formlings were warmongers, and that the rightful king had overthrown me. Just before he almost killed Lloyd, he said something that caused my memories to return."
She frowns. "I do not understand. How does one lose their memories so easily?"
Akita stares at his metal skin, her eyes widening as if noticing it for the first time.
"I am not quite like you-"
"I know," she interjects, eyes brimming with anger. "I am not a murderer."
"I was... created," he replies, quietly. "Out of extra materials. I can act like others, but I do not always understand emotions in the same way."
Akita frowns again, raising her dagger. Her voice grows a dangerous edge; sharp and cold. "You never realized that your actions were wrong?"
They're entering dangerous territory. Some part of him wants to derail the conversation; stick to the facts and leave his emotions out of this.
But he owes her an explanation - he owes everyone an explanation. He owes them so much more, if only he could give it to them; erase the past and leave their quiet realm in peace.
"Before I came here, I would never have done such things - if I had my memories, I would never have done such things. Vex convinced me that they were the only way I could defend my throne. I did not know that they were wrong. The moment I realized what I had done, I tried to help your side. The right side," he finishes, ignoring the temptation to stare down at the floor instead of into her blazing eyes.
An indecipherable expression crosses her face. "You never talked to another? One of your... army, perhaps?" "Vex gave all the orders. He just asked me for approval. I never left this room." "And you approved them," she muttered, but it seemed to serve more as a reminder to herself than it did to him.
"What was your life like, before you entered our world?" Akita asks suddenly, suspicion still coating her voice. He blinks, the question unexpected.
"My friends and I can control and create different elements," he began, hesitantly. Carefully. "We were taught to fight. We protect our city from those-" "You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves."
"Those who cannot protect themselves," Zane finishes, guilt making his vision hazy.
He quickly blinks away the tears, all too aware of her persistent gaze.
"Two more questions," she says quickly, glancing behind her. "This room makes me uncomfortable. And so do you." The accusation is clear, but her eyes are not quite as cold as they had been earlier.
"What do you feel now?" Akita asks roughly, taking a step back. "You mentioned earlier that you do not feel emotions the same way that we do. Explain."
I could lie, he thinks, fleetingly. What if my feelings convince her that I am the Emperor even more than I am Zane? A voice at the back of his mind points out that he is - was - the Emperor.
He knows this.
He knows that he will have to acknowledge it once they are back home.
He knows that he cannot dwell on it now, or the winter will go on - inside his mind instead of outside it.
"I feel... guilt," he begins. "For the terrible crimes I have committed. Horror, at my own actions. Anger, towards that traitor. Relief - that I am no longer under his influence." An eyebrow touches her forehead, ever so slightly.
"How guilty?" It is almost a challenge, her voice rising in pitch threateningly.
"I will spend the rest of my life working to atone for my mistakes," Zane answers sincerely, resisting the irrational urge to squeeze his eyes shut. "However, I know that nothing I can do will ever undo them. But I can help others from people who- who... seek to manipulate them," he finishes quietly, a remorseful sigh punctuating the confession.
Akita says nothing; lips pressed in a hard line. Her blank, steadfast gaze meets his. The dagger clatters to the ground.
He draws in a breath sharply.
Picking it up, she squares her shoulders defiantly. "My people will know that... that there were two prisoners within these walls," she sighs, the weariness in her voice all too evident.
Yet he does not miss her glare; a barely contained anger that lurks just beneath the surface.
Akita straightens her spine, frowning menacingly as her hand tightens on the dagger.
He resists the irrational urge to take a step back.
"My brother and I will never forgive you," she snarls.
You do not have to, he would like to say. But he suspects that she already knows this.
"Come near either of us again, and I will make you long for death."
She shifts to her wolf form, baring her teeth - but when she stalks closer, he does not back away.
Suddenly, he is all-too-aware of the fact that the throne room is currently empty - bar the two of them.
He does not move.
It is not as if she could harm him - titanium is not easily damaged (yet, some part of him wonders if that is a blessing or curse), but they have faced enough villains for him to know how it works.
The villains die at the end; rightfully so.
Why should this be any different?
"You will pay for your crimes," Akita growls, shifting between her forms as if it is second nature. It probably is. "Emperor."
Her dagger clatters to the ground once again.
He does not move.
Why should this be any different?
---
"What's taking her so long?"
"Who?" The Samurai asks, the confusion on his face only amplifying.
"No- nothing," he mumbles, wincing. The adrenaline is wearing off - and with it, the fleeting distraction from the pain coursing through his chest.
Broken ribs? Probably. But he's got bigger problems to worry about - his minor injuries don't really matter when there's a warrior (because after all that she's been through, he thinks that she deserves the title - even if it's one she would never have wanted) seeking vengeance, someone who could tear apart this castle, brick by brick if she wanted to, alone with his brother.
His brother - who'd taken hers; encased her village in a tomb of ice, leaving behind no one but a teenager consumed with blinding anger - rightfully so, he admits, a bit wearily.
What happened to you, Zane?
Are you even... there? The person who used to stay awake with me when all I saw was the building crumbling before my eyes, night after night? The one who swore to protect those who couldn't protect themselves?
Are you still there?
"Can I, er, go inside?" he asks no one, trying not to breathe too hard. The Ice Samurai he'd been trying to help had vanished, most probably to try and get answers from someone else.
He owes it to these people to help them - if he'd just been faster, stronger, better, Aspheera could never have-
Not now, Lloyd!
He should probably open the doors - try and diffuse whatever fight they'd gotten into. Akita reminds him of Kai; both of them fiercely protective of those whom they care about, yet sometimes clouded by rage so thick they can barely see out of it.
But he's hesitating - there's always the possibility that her anger; prison of its own, might extend to him.
Not that he even has the right to condemn her for it, though.
Unwillingly, a fleeting thought presses itself to the forefront of his mind; beautiful white hair, a soft voice coated in honey-
Broken ribs, he reminds himself stubbornly, grimacing at the flare of pain as he draws in a breath sharply. She's gone, she's gone, and it's-
He bites his lip until the tang of iron fills his mouth, eyes fixed determinedly on the floor.
Not now, Lloyd!
Slowly, carefully, he pushes the door open. It creaks softly - but he doesn't think anyone hears it.
Oh, no.
---
"Akita?" a voice questions, hesitantly. He's half-leaning against the door, blonde hair almost completely hiding wary eyes all but squeezed shut in pain.
She stiffens, ignoring the part of her that learns to hunt, murder, the- the monster-
Blinking, quickly, she allows her mind to embrace the sharp, cold air on her fur, and her harsh, ragged breathing - until she can almost feel the shift in her heart, trading instinct for a different type of clarity, white fur for skin and hair.
Grabbing her dagger, she halfheartedly swipes it at the boy who makes her cheeks redder than they usually are, the boy who travelled across the ice seeking a murderer-
Well. He is in no condition to help anyone - they both know this.
But he does not have the right to interfere with this conversation - her feelings do not matter when his friend is-
"Leave us," she snarls, fingers digging into the hilt of her dagger. "What makes you think you have the right?"
Her voice grows colder, but she can't quite keep the tremor out of it.
"You did not find your village half-dead, or spend months mourning your brother," Akita snaps, frustration seeping into the words. Why does he always have to make everything so complicated?
"I know," he replies, hesitantly, eyes flitting between the room and the door. "But... this isn't the right thing to do, Akita."
"Do you think it was right for your friend to seize power from our rightful ruler? Do you think he was right when he imprisoned an innocent child for so many years?"
She doesn't bother to keep the venom out of her voice, ignoring the fact that the light brown of her skin has almost faded to white where she grips her weapon.
Taking a step closer, she bites her lip.
If he will make this his fight, so will she.
"The girl I told you about," Lloyd interjects. "H- Harumi." He forces out the name, as if the very mention of it ails him.
She raises her eyebrows. "What are you going to do? Distract me with stories about your girlfriend while he," Akita glares at the Emperor with a sigh, "escapes?"
"No," he replies softly. Brushing the hair out of his eyes, she doesn't miss his poorly concealed wince.
This is the friend he seeks?
There's a fragile silence, one of which she refuses to shatter. Nothing he can say will erase the horrific actions of this- this power-hungry ruler who has abused the gift he has been given; persecuted their lands, and forced innocents into lives ruled by fear and hatred.
"I- er-" Lloyd starts, visibly uncomfortable with saying... whatever it is he is trying to say.
She does not interrupt, but does not take her eyes off the Emperor, either. He has not moved or even contributed to their exchange yet.
Good, she thinks fervently. She does not need to force herself to try and feel sympathy for a man she has hated for so many long winters, one who has taken a piece of her heart and locked it away in a tiny prison cell.
"Did I ever tell you that- that... I watched her die?" he asks, aiming for a casual tone.
The hurt subconsciously laced into it makes something in her heart twist, as if it had been pierced by a shard of glass.
Outwardly, she does nothing more than raise an eyebrow.
For all the days they have spent trekking across the ice together, it suddenly dawns on her how little she actually knows about him.
"No," she replies carefully, dragging out the word. "Why?" "She-"
Akita can almost see his internal struggle - anger and fear and indecision and something she can't quite place her finger on meshing into another thing entirely.
"She- tried to murder," Lloyd flinches at the word, nails digging into his palms, "my friends. And I was forced to watch, helpless," he whispers, so softly that she has to strain to hear it.
"But when she- she died in a crumbling building, I- was... the one who caused it to fall."
"Your point?" she snaps; voice as sharp as her blade. He is the only thing standing between her and the Emperor; between the growing hatred she had allowed to fester for all this time, because one day she would finally make him pay-
Her friend visibly winces.
Too late does she realize her mistake, a fact that leaves her a bit sick to the stomach.
That's nothing compared to the bout of nausea that accompanies another realization, juts a second later.
How could I let my anger hurt another - one who did not deserve to receive it? Am I truly any better than the one whom I have condemned?
Well. The logical side of her mind points out that it is her choice to forgive, for such unforgivable acts; that the anger that had doused everything in its hue, every day, was to be expected-
"I apologize... for my conduct," she says quickly, forcing herself to meet his eyes. "You have never hurt me. I did not mean to hurt you." "It's okay- this- this isn't my fight anyway," Lloyd replies quickly, fingers wrapped around the door handle - but she doesn't even think he's aware of the fact. "I just- I just wanted to share something with you, something I wish someone would've shared with me, because-" He's rambling, words practically coated in a jumble of shaky nerves. "What is it?" Akita asks softly, losing a little of the stiffness in her tone.
"Murder- it isn't right," he repeats, hands pressed to his forehead. "But... it'll hurt you more than it will anyone else. I can't go a week without seeing her fall in my dreams, over and over again. I should've been glad, I guess... she'd hurt my friends and I so many times. But- but I'm the one with the nightmares, and all this- guilt. And I care- I care you, Akita. I know that I'll never understand how you've been hurt by- by the Emperor... just, think about how it'll affect you." Akita's eyes widen incredulously, but he's not done. "Just- don't let someone else make you hurt yourself." His voice is about a pitch higher than normal, but neither of them really register it. "Sometimes, the best kind of revenge is refusing..." Lloyd trails off, his eyes squeezed shut (a second later, he opens them again, blinking profusely), "to let anyone... make you hurt them."
Irrationally, she wants to break something.
That advice offers... an entirely new perspective. One that she had never thought of.
One that is- is unwanted, she insists fervently.
And now his fingers are pressing into his hands again, so tightly that she almost wants to yell - stop it, idiot, you're hurting yourself! - at him. "Because... it might haunt you lot more. And if they- they- really want to hurt you?" Both of them ignore the erratic, painful looking way his breathing starts to hitch just then.
"Don't give them... the satisfaction of it - by- your own hands."
Her mouth drops open.
No words come out.
What?
Out of the corner of her eye, she watches Lloyd slowly - a bit too carefully - push the door shut behind him. It creaks softly, but neither of the two left standing in the room really hear it.
She squeezes her eyes shut, far too many emotions almost crashing through her mind.
"You seek to rescue your friend. I seek revenge."
Blinking the world back into focus, her mind whirls and whirls; the storm unrelenting.
"I seek revenge."
What exactly did that mean to her?
She...
She did not quite know the answer now.
---
Akita does not speak for some time, her thoughtful expression plainly clashing with one of anger.
He does not speak, either, although it is for a different reason.
Lloyd's words have forced him to face the reality he has been avoiding ever since he smashed his scepter on the ground - ever since the decade-long winter had ended.
"And if they really want to hurt you? Don't give them the satisfaction of it - by your own hands."
"If they really want to hurt you."
There is only one whom Lloyd could have been referring to.
"You were built to protect those who cannot protect themselves."
Somewhere within his mind, he is aware of the fact that the second his memories returned, the staff lay in pieces on the floor; all of that corrupted ice shattering into nothing.
He is also aware of the fact that sixty years of tyranny will leave behind much more than an altered climate.
If they even get back to Ninjago, what will have become of his city? It took his friends decades to find him - what could have happened during all that time?
Friends. Does he even have a right to call them that?
He is not quite sure - or even sure if all of them will be as forgiving as Lloyd.
The Green Ninja had always strived to find the best in people - to believe that anyone could make up for their mistakes, that they would want to. It had been to his friend's detriment, once - yet Lloyd had never quite given up on the world, in the same way that many of them had. Maybe it was some sort of childish naivety - or maybe it was just in his nature to hope, even after all they had been through, that everyone had some good inside them.
Yet, he had never met anyone who shared his friend's mindset - or at least to that extent.
Kai knows what it is like to have a sibling kidnapped, taken from them for no rhyme or reason - other than the fact that a cruel ruler who seeks power and exploits those around them for it will stop at nothing to get what they want.
Cole knows what it is like to die (well, almost, his logic points out) - to be imprisoned within yourself; a husk of a person, unable to live your life to the fullest.
His mind flashes to the thousands of innocent villagers he had frozen in icy prisons, practically caskets-
Irrationally, his hands begin to shake.
He chooses not to focus on that.
Nya used to hunt down those who hurt others, he recalls - and then squeezes his eyes shut.
Is she not quite similar to Akita in that regard?
The realization leaves him more gutted than he thought was possible. Had he really become the very person his friends worked so hard to stop?
He clenches his fists, the titanium covering his fingers grating together.
At least I am no longer holding the scroll, he thinks, fervently. Before long, the memory of a clear, quiet night pulls itself to the forefront of his mind.
The echo of a whispered confession; a brief explanation mixed with tears and shaking hands. A voice usually so bright, silenced to the shaky murmur of "I watched her die, Zane, and it was all my fault, it's all my fault-"
It was then when he had learned of- of an alternate timeline, his processor had inputted seamlessly. Another reality, wiped from their minds and the press of time. One that only existed in the memories of two of his best friends.
One that resulted in poorly concealed winces, seemingly arbitrary flinches, Nya throwing out any dresses she owned and Jay practically shaking with fear when he was asked to do certain chores. One that resulted in scars that ran far deeper than those of venom or sword. His memories had been useless then, too, his mind points out. How could he have let two of his best friends suffer for weeks on end, when he was able to upgrade or encrypt his memory drive at any time? When he was a n- robot, and should be able to recover memories that had been deleted or erased? The others could never be afforded that opportunity - yet, he had let the team down when it mattered most. If he could not be there for others, try to help them protect them from a force unable to ever be completely defeated, would he ever even halfway fulfill his purpose? He had pondered all of those questions - had ignored the pang in his heart when many pieces of the figurative puzzle clicked into place, for many weeks afterward. He had almost immediately vowed to be better - to ensure that his purpose did not go unfulfilled.
His purpose, he thought bitterly, as he squeezed his eyes shut. What had become of it now?
Another question to ponder, he supposed. And the realization that Jay - one of his brothers, one who was always equipped with a weapon and a joke too - would forever know what it was like to be kidnapped, held hostage, simply because a power-hungry figure cared less for another than anyone ever should.
Akita's brother had been scarcely less than a child - after his imprisonment. How could he have strayed so far from his original goals - how could he have strayed so far from what he had supposedly fervently stood for?
---
Lloyd's words still ring in her ears, his weary tone not quite matching their crazy implications.
She rubs her temples, frustrated. This was definitely not what she had come here for! She had come for vengeance - vengeance for the terrible crimes the Ice Emperor had committed, against her village, her brother, even her-
But what was the point of revenge if she was the one left scarred? a small voice in the back of her mind points out, doing nothing but adding to her indecision.
I cannot do this, she insists fervently, thinking of her brother's worn face - and the years he had spent imprisoned; a lone figure silently mourning a sister he did not know still trekked the ice.
Just as she had been mourning him, she thinks sadly. The pang in her heart may have lessened since she had realized that he was still alive, but it was still horrifying to think that he had lost decades of his life - she had lost decades of hers, too, in a different way, she muses - saddened, alone, imprisoned.
But is this what he would have wanted? For her?
He had always been the calmer, logic-based one. She was always running into fights, the one fueled by emotion and anger.
Well. She spares a moment for the future.
The Emperor would leave their world - possibly, to haunt another. She would remain here - with her brother and her village, the woods and the towering peaks of the mountains.
I only have this one chance, she reminds herself firmly. She fixes her eyes on the strange blue ones of the Emperor, and sees a future ruled by that one decision.
Her gaze flits towards the doorway, and she sees a future there, too.
She sighs, dropping her eyes to the ground.
But Katuru would want me to- to-
Be happy, she realizes, jarringly.
Taking a deep breath, she bites her lip.
"Will taking your life make me happy? Will it make up for the years of pain we have endured at your hands?"
Her voice rings out, hesitant yet determined.
"I wish it were so," she confesses wearily, ignoring the ache in her hands. She's been gripping the hilt of her dagger for so long, the blade's almost pierced her skin. "Alas, it is not."
The Emperor meets her gaze, but not completely - out of guilt? Fear? Anger?
She does not have the time to ponder meaningless questions.
"I despise you with every fiber of my being, you coward," Akita snarls, some of the anger she has become so accustomed to bleeding its way into her words. "But I will not tarnish my hands on someone as worthless as you, when you presently pose no threat to me."
The words spill from her mouth, but she almost wants to stuff them back inside at that very second.
This isn't why I came here! This isn't what I was supposed to do-
Another voice cuts through the one in her head, a weary confession from someone she knew nothing and everything about.
"Don't give them the satisfaction of it - by your own hands.
The next words she utter fill the room - steady, unwavering.
"Leave our world, and never return. Never. You have treated my people as if you are a monster, yet you say that you are sorry. As if you could ever care - after everything you have done to us!"
Akita sheathes her dagger, indecision still weighing heavily on her mind.
"I hope that you are as haunted by your time here as we all are," she spits, walking towards the door. She does not look behind her, but packs as much bitterness as she can into the last word she utters before the door closes behind her.
"Emperor."
---
A/N - I know this wasn't great, but honestly, it was really interesting to write and challenged me to think about certain things quite a bit. If you did read it, thank you so much!:D

Summary: Before they leave the Never Realm, Zane is recieves an unexpected visitor.
The door opens and closes quietly, Zane doesn’t turn to face his teammate. They were leaving the Never Realm soon, the final preparations being made, Grimfax and the elders testing the Realm Tree’s properties to see how it worked in practice. Zane is sitting on the edge of a grand, ornate bed. They’d been given a few rooms to stay in after Zane had shattered the scroll and ended his reign. There were too many loose ends and stories to wrap up, his actions put on trial amongst the king and the nobles. They had decided on his innocence, but still banished him completely from the realm. He was never allowed back here on punishment of death.
It was too light a sentence, but perhaps he’d favored cruelty too much these years.
The punishment also stung in a way that was hard to form into words. This had been his home for a lifetime- to be banished… he would miss it. He had his chance to walk the palace ground once more, but he’d chosen to skip it and keep himself holed away in he and his friends room, skipping breakfast and lunch completely. The people here were afraid and scared of him, and it was the least he could do to stay out of sight and out of mind until he left this place in peace for good.
A shuffle of feet, unsure. It must be time to go.
The deadbolt locks. It’s blunt and stark in the empty and silent bedroom.
Oh, Zane thinks, I understand.
He wouldn't be making it out of this realm alive, would he? It’s almost comical, to survive all those years alone in that cave, to endure the agony of losing himself again, only to die when freedom was hours away. Maybe it’s poetic. Maybe there would be a song or an epic told about this, one day- and the climax would be his death, here in his bedchamber, and scholars would teach their students that even someone with the power of the gods was mortal in the end. It sounds interesting. It’s a good ending, if he has to have one here.
He turns and faces the assassin, hiking one leg up on the bed so he can face them.
It’s a girl, Lloyds age. He remembers her from the throne room, she’d attacked him with a knife and he’d frozen her solid. She's got red marks across her cheeks, and she's wearing a wolf cloak around her shoulders.
A formling. She has the right.
“Hello.” He says quietly. Her name is Akita, he knows. She hates him, he knows.
She reaches into the folds of her clothes, trembling, and pulls out a dagger in its sheath. She holds it out so he can see it. It’s a plain little thing, brown leather and wood handle. She yanks it from it’s sheath and throws it aside. The Blade is wickedly sharp.
It looks meticulously maintained and sharpened. She must have heard the rumors of his skin, told by spooked men who’d barely managed to flee his ice, who recalled how only the sharpest blades struck home. Who whispered how ordinary spears skidded and fell away without a scratch. He knows the stories told about him. There were people he did not freeze- there were towns that chose to cooperate.
It is sharp enough.
She holds the blade out, the shake in her hands vanishing as pure resolve pours into her eyes, “My name is Akita. You stole my childhood. You imprisoned my brother and my people. You killed countless innocents. Your reign deserves to end here, permanently.” she tells him, voice stone and steel, each word clearly practiced over and over again in anticipation for this moment.
He dips his head, and out of respect for his adversary, he rises to his feet. To face her as an equal, on even ground, is to see her as a worthy opponent.
She swallows visibly, tightening her grip on her blade.
“I won’t fight you, Akita.” He says plainly, moving around the edge of the bed so she has a clean attack, “Your revenge is yours to take.”
There’s a knock on the door, Lloyds voice filtering through hesitant and worried, “Hey, Zane? You nearly ready? It’s almost time to go.” The doorknob wiggles.
Akita tilts her head, listening to Lloyd but refusing to take her eyes off Zane. She hesitates, and he remembers that Lloyd and Akita had come to his throne room together. To get her revenge is to hurt her friend terribly. Zane could freeze her here, if he wanted to- he’s stopped better assassins than this over the years, but he won’t touch her.
“Zane?” Lloyds voice takes an edge of panic, worry bleeding into every syllable. Akita doesn’t move for a long moment, and the regret in her eyes dies. Sacrifices must be made. She had made this decision a long time before she met Lloyd.
“Answer me one question.” She licks her lips, keeps her eyes laser-focused on his every movement, “Did it mean anything to you? When you slaughtered the Kraag, when you destroyed crops and tore apart families, did it mean a damn thing?”
He thinks about the scroll in his hands, about Vex’s words seeping into his mind. He thinks about days upon days going through the motions, empty headed and lost and broken.
“No.” he answers truthfully and draws himself up to his full hieght. he will not die cowering and small. He’s the Ice Emperor, after all.
A heartbeat passes.
She lunges.

Explanations below (I spent sooooo long on them holy hell)
Just thought this was a fun thing to put together, I’m definitely missing a few things but I got as much in as I can, and I tried to explain most of these as best as possible.
Above iceberg/sky:
Kai is the green ninja: Rumors in the season 1 era, it was very built up.
S1-2 voice errors: Many ninja talk with the wrong voices in season 1 and 2.
Zane in the fridge vs. a note: In Season 1 Episode 2, Home, Zane is shown sitting in the fridge in the UK version. In the U.S version, there is just a note.
S1Ep1 video game: On the television release in the U.S for the first ever episode, the ninja are seen playing a custom made video game which is foreshadowing them in the fight for the golden scythe. In the Netflix version, they are playing the Ninjago DS game.
Wu is Lloyd's dad: Wu and Lloyd both have blonde hair, and Wu used to have a thing for Misako.
Jay using wind powers: In the episode The Green Ninja, Jay uses wind powers in the volcano to blow away fire.
Seliel: An original character in the Ninjago Comics, Phantom Ninja
Animejago: Anime style Ninjago in Season 11 “The Absolute Worst”
Zane = Ice Emperor: Before the reveal many people theorized that Zane would be the Ice Emperor.
Iceberg:
Echo Zane is Mr. E: A scrapped idea by the writers which shows Harumi finding the old lighthouse and rebuilding Echo Zane into Mr. E. Still plausible.
Cole had depression as a ghost: In a canon Ninjago book, The Book of Spinjitzu, it’s confirmed that Cole went through a depressive episode during his time a ghost because of his failure to contribute to the team in the same way he used to.
Sorla is Garmadon and Wu's mother: Sorla has lots of knowlegde about elemental masters, but it’s unknown where she got this information as she lives in the Never-Realm. Also this
Jay has ADHD/Anxiety: He talks quickly, has bad reactions to loud sounds, understands social cues, scared in tense situations, and many other things (this is very plausible)
Lar the water ninja: A self proclaimed “water ninja” named Lar
Merjitzu: An odd rumor back then about mermaid spinjitzu...?
Zane's visions: Zane has many visions throughout the show, and they all seem to come true/seem accurate
Cole's mother: Many theories spawned around the identity of Cole’s mother before season 13, mainly because she was rarely mentioned and never seen until then.
Below iceberg:
Zane and Nya are murderers: they have the highest kill count in the show by far
The SoG massacred tons of people: Self explanatory, while the SoG were taking over Ninjago and running the streets in Season 9, of course they harrassed people.
Cole is colorblind: Cole frequently refers to things as the wrong color in the show, leading to this theory/headcanon
EM age slower than regular people: A prime example of this is Ray and Maya. They don’t appear old at all even after many years. The same can be said about Wu’s whole family.
Ninjago manga: More information on it here, but it’s basically a gag manga series with only 8 pages.
Original S7 ending: The original ending was written to be a finale of Ninjago. It would end with Acronix and Krux locked up in Kryptarium Prison 2.0, forty years in the future, while Lloyd and Kai reminisced about the adventures they had in the past decades and no sign of Cole. [SCRIPT]
Ronin has a wife and kids: Tommy Andreasen stated that in his head, he imagines Ronin has three children and a demanding wife. [tweet]
Nelson and the mailman are related: ???? I don’t even know...
Deeper iceberg:
Zane is a transmale: Stemming from this wiki page because of their visual similarities.
Vex killing prisoners: There are many prison cells in the Ice Emperors palace, but all are empty, leading many to believe they’ve been killed/frozen.
Cole is an oni: Cole survived the fall into the darkness that only oni can survive, like Garmadon and Lloyd. There is no explanation for this, and with little origin story to Cole’s family, one can only assume.
Mistaké is still alive: Many believe Mistaké is still alive, as she’s seen here in season 10.
Harumi playing with a green ninja doll during Great Devourer attack: This doesn't make any sense since Lloyd was not known to be the green ninja around this time, and some could say his first debut as a ninja was in the Great Devourer attack. Harumi seemed to be obsessed with the green ninja around this time, however.
Cole and Jay are related: A probably-debunked theory since not much is known about either of their families. Jay is adopted and Cole only has his father. Some believe their families are connected, as half brothers or even cousins..
the mailman is an Oni: I’m.. not sure about this one either..
Skylor’s original design: [Shown here]
Bottom of iceberg:
Nadakhan is shapeshifting as Clutch Powers/Nadakhan killed Clutch inside the lamp:
Cole is gay coded: The Royal Blacksmiths. Enough said.
The Formlings are a murdering cult: In their animal forms, do they kill animals and or other people?
The ultradragon was hunted and killed: The remains of their bones were used for Iron Barons throne, shown here.
How did Lloyd take his father’s robe from him?: Garmadon was chained up, but Lloyd later returns to the realm of Ninjago wearing his father’s robes.
Fetish art: Many pieces of fetish art have been created for this show, including inflation, feet, vore, tickling, macro, blueberry inflation, and more
Deep waters:
Omega is Clutch's dad: N/A
Jay kills Cliff Gordon in S6: When Jay wishes to Nadakhan for wealth and fortune, and quickly a letter conveniently comes to him about the passing of his father Cliff Gordon, and how he now owns all of his property.
Onceler Morro: tumblr meme
Skylor is genetically engineered: With no mention of her mother, it’s all up to the imagination.
Garmadon x Lloyd: The absolute worst side of the fandom, and yes it does exist/has existed.
incest/r//pe fics: The most disgusting things ever created.

Ninjago fairy tale AU’s because I can’t sleep
Lloyd: little red riding hood
Zane: Snow White
Echo: Rapunzel
Jay: the little mermaid
Kai: beauty and the beast
Cole: Goldilocks and the three bears
Little green riding hood
This was going to be Kai but Lloyd fit better
Oh my gosh like the fandoms expectations for the green ninja
Lloyd was told by his Uncle Wu to go pick up some tea from Mystake
On his way back, he keeps running into Akita, who’s trying to warn him of danger, but Lloyd can’t understand her
The danger is Harumi is following him. Lloyd doesn’t see her
When Lloyd reaches the monastery, Harumi is there, pretending to tend the place
She says that she’ll take the tea to Wu, and Lloyd is give her the tea, when Akita comes and scares Harumi off
Akita sniffs out Wu and after she finds him, reveals herself as a human
Then they all live happily ever after (except Harumi) the end
Snow White
Zane is the son of the oh so famous Dr. Julien, the royal inventor, but the King (ice elemental from the elemental alliance) takes a liking to Zane, and adopts him when Dr. Julien dies
Now Zane is the prince woo
The King also takes a liking to the ice emperor, but that was a mistake, because he sneakily kills the king and takes the throne for himself
“Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the coldest of them all?”
It’s Zane
So IE tells Vex to go kill Zane, but Vex doesn’t actually know how to kill a nindroid so he just tells him to run into the forest
That’s where Zane meets the 7 dwarves
Hungry (Cole) Chatty (Jay) Confused (teen Wu) Flirty (Kai) Grumpy (Morro) Happy (Echo) and Sleepy (Lloyd)
Later he meets P.I.X.A.L. who immediately catches his heart
The IE finds out that Zane is still alive, and decides that since Vex didn’t help him, he was going to have to kill Zane himself
He disguises himself and goes into the forest
He gives Zane an apple that gives him a fatal virus, but Zane doesn’t realize it’s bad so he dies (wow shocker)
Then the IE falls off a cliff
The 7 dwarves hold a small funeral and invite P.I.X.A.L.
P.I.X.A.L. realizes that Zane isn’t dead dead, so she kisses him and he comes back to life
They go back to the kingdom and Zane is crowned king, and P.I.X.A.L is queen. The dwarves are advisors
Then they all live happily ever after the end
Echo
Dr. Julien didn’t want Zane to know he was building a little brother for him, because he was getting sick, and thought he was going to die soon, and he didn’t want Zane to be sad at his brother and his father not being around
So he struck up a deal with Samukai the Skeleton
Samukai would give him a private place to build Echo, and a potion to help him get better if Samukai got to keep Echo
Not having much of an option, Dr. Julien agreed, hoping that Echo and Zane would find each other on their own
Echo was built and Samukai kept him in a lighthouse
Dr. Julien tells Zane of his missing brother
Events of Snow White (seen above) ensue and now Zane is king yay
Morro is a wanted thief and while getting away, he runs into what he thinks is an abandoned lighthouse
Only to find a rusty nindroid
Echo explains he’s always wanted to see the real world but he never got to
Morro sneaks him out and they head to the kingdom to celebrate the king’s birthday
Echo realizes that he’s the king’s brother, and he a Morro go back to ask Samukai questions
Samukai does an exposition dump, and stabs Morro, before Morro simply blows him away
Morro dies but he’s a ghost so it’s okay
They return to the kingdom and Echo FINALLY meets Zane
Morro and Echo start dating
Then they all live happily ever after the end
The Little Mermaid
Jay was always fascinated with little toys he found from human shipwrecks
He would often go on and on about what he thought they were all used for
His father may have been King Cliff, but Jay was practically raised by Ed and Edna, who taught him about the human world
His mom is dead rip
He goes to the surface and finds Nya, who he immediately falls in love with
He stays hidden, but sings Nya a little song
The ship almost wrecks, but Jay saves Nya. She’s barely waking up to his song again before he swims off. She wants to know who that voice was
Jay finds a locket with Nya and her brother in it, and he wants to take it to Nya, so he tells his dad
His dad isn’t happy that Jay fell in love with a human
After another fight with his father, Jay goes off and gets lost, but is found by Nadakhan
Nadakhan says he can make Jay human, all he has to do is wish, and Jay gets 3 wishes total. After the third wish, Nadakhan gets something of Jay’s
Jay’s first wish is to be human, his second is that he won’t be able to speak because he wants to save his 3rd wish
Nadakhan grants Jay’s wishes and Jay goes to learn to become human. He gives the locket to Nya
Nya tells him about her brother’s romantic escapades (see below) but she also tells him that she has to get married soon or she might not be able to support her career in technological advancement
She has her sights (or rather ears) set on the lovely voice she heard that night, but Jay can’t tell her that that was him
They meet Nadakhan who has come to get Jay’s third wish, but Jay won’t use it
Nadakhan says that if Jay doesn’t use his third wish by sundown the next day, he was going to kill Nya
Nadakhan uses magic to sound like Jay, and Nya has to marry him (she’s under a spell)
The next day, Jay still hasn’t made his third wish by sundown and Nya starts dying

Nadakhan grants the wish, but the spell on Nya fades away and she falls in love with Jay

Noir locks

One day he followed them out to a part of the woods he was unfamiliar with
He explores a bit more and finds a house. There seems to be fresh food, he didn’t eat breakfast and was starving, so he sneaks in
There’s cake
After eating the vanilla cake instead of the chocolate or strawberry, Cole decides to take a nap. He woke up super early to catch the lumberjacks, and walking for so long made him exhausted
He finds the most luxurious bed he’s ever slept in
He’s woken up to a high pitched scream
He sees an ivory and gold colored bear and starts screaming too
Two more bears come up the stairs
After they all calm down, the bears introduced themselves as Vania, Seliel, and Kataru
Kataru says his sister is usually here as well but she was out doing something else
Cole asks what the heck is going on and why there were talking bears sleeping in beds and eating cake
Vania explains that her father cursed her and Seliel, and Kataru was just a bear formling
Cole decides to see if he can do anything about it, so Vania leads him to her fathers mine
Cole try’s to reason with Vangelis, but the king won’t have it
Vania explains that Cole needs to shave Vangelis’s beard because that’s where he stores his magic
Cole does, but Vania and Seliel are still bears
Vangelis later explains that his magic is actually from a magic skull and he just tells people that it’s in his beard because he wants to throw them off
Cole tries to steal the skull, and Vangelis catches him and turns Cole into a bear
After fighting Vangelis and ultimately getting the skull, Cole runs off
He takes the skull back to Kataru who destroys it
Vania, Cole and Seliel turn back
Not having any real magic anymore, and just being a horrible person, Vangelis is knocked off the throne and Vania takes over
Then they all live happily ever after the end

@the-ninjago-girl ok, here we go
Plasma: This starts at season 6. Well, this is a new season 6 since the original one is Jaya and i want new story plot for that season.
Anyway, what happens in here is Kai and Jay get kidnapped by evil scientists. The two ninjas get a bracelet that turns them into: serpentine, Formling, and geckle(Kai)/munce(Jay). They start out as serpentine and spend some time in the serpentine underground town. Kai and Jay bond over things they like and keep to themselves. They start to realize that they like each other.
After that season ends, the seasons on stay the same except exchange the Jaya moments with plasma moments. Then comes them retiring ninja life after Wu disappears one day. They decide to go to college to get degrees and jobs. Kai is now a science teacher, and Jay owns a garage shop. They have a Fangpyre girl who is the master of lighting and a Formling boy who is the master of fire
Oppo: Two years before the pilots, Zane comes upon Kai and Nya in their village. Zane lives with the Smith siblings and goes to school with them. Zane helps Kai to loosen up and not put pressure on himself. Kai helps Zane to also loosen up and not take everything literally. They also find out early on Zane is a robot.
Then comes season 1 where Kai gets hurt really bad after unlocking his true potential. He needs an arc reactor (Tony Stark arc reactor) but no one has anything powerful enough. Except for Zane. Zane gives up half of his power source for Kai. After that, the two start to date.
Season 3, 4, and 11 will change, but I’m not that far yet. Kai retires as a ninja and becomes a teacher. Zane continues to ninja for a little longer then starts volunteering. The two have twin Nindroids. Janan, the eldest and master of ice, and Lennon, the youngest and master of fire.
Lava: Starts Right after season 5. Cole wants to be a human again, and Kai offered himself for Cole to possess. Lloyd and Nya get angry about this, and it’s a fight between the siblings. Kai goes off with Cole. He agrees to Kai’s offer, and Cole possesses Kai. Cole did some of the things he missed as Kai. When they return home, Kai is exhausted. Cole feels bad, but Kai says it’s fine.
They agree to do it at least once a week. Then comes DotD when Cole becomes human again. They’re both glad that they don’t have to do the possession again, and they can just hang out normally again. But the hang out starts to make them both start to think “I think I’m in love.” It’s after season 7 when they start to officially date, but they keep it a secret from the others.
The seasons stay the same. After their final adventure, Cole proposes to Kai. The two finally tell the others that they were dating and are engaged now. Now you expect them to react “We already knew”, but instead they go: “WHAT!? SINCE WHEN!?”
Kai and Cole get married, and become teachers. They have triplets, two boys who are the master of fire and one girl who is the master of earth. The girl is named Lazuli (oldest), and the boys are named Mercury(middle) and Onyx(youngest)
Sorry This took so long, but here you go

[Ninjago] Stone Cold
Summary: In which the Ice Emperor receives a visitor that claims to be from both the future and the past. Vex is not amused. [oneshot][features a next-gen kid][loosely tied to RE: Time Window][some spoilers for Season 11]
Rating: K
Word Count: 1,979 words
If you liked this story, please buy me a coffee!
. . .
He had reclaimed his throne for several years now, and yet something seemed… off. When he discussed the idea with Vex, his adviser only insisted that things were going as planned. What was going as planned? As far as the Ice Emperor could see, there was not much diplomacy happening. Vex did the leg work, the Ice Emperor himself sat on the throne and listened to his adviser without question.
Or… perhaps that was the plan? To sit, and to listen, day in and day out to Vex without very little question. The more the Ice Emperor dwelled on it, the more something seemed to be very, very wrong. But what?
“Let go of me!”
Whatever thoughts the Ice Emperor had on the matter, it was interrupted by the arrival of Vex and an unfamiliar girl. The Ice Emperor barely moved his head to get a better look at them. Vex was holding the girl with her hands behind her back, in retaliation she was doing her best to struggle out of his grasp. Once the two were close enough to the throne, Vex unceremoniously tossed the girl to the ground.
“My Emperor,” he then said to his ruler in a firm voice, “I bring to you a spy from the Formlings. Our guards found her navigating the dungeons; we suspect that she was sent to free our prisoner...”
“I've already told you!” the girl interjected as she tried to get back to her feet; her sass and annoyance not lost on the Emperor. “I'm not a Formling, I don't even know what they are! I think I made that clear when I asked one of your generals for directions.”
“Enough!” Vex demanded, knocking the girl back down to her knees. She let out a small yelp of surprise when she hit the ground again. Vex sneered as he loomed over her, procuring a dagger to hold at her neck. In a dark, cold voice, he spat, “You'd do well to hold that tongue in front of the Emperor, child.”
“Enough Vex.”
Now either annoyed or surprised, Vex looked up at the Emperor. “But sire, she's dangerous… We need to get rid of her as quickly as-”
“Let the child speak for herself.”
There was no hiding Vex's annoyance now. He did not help the girl get up, and they all watched as she brushed herself off in some last minute attempt to be presentable. When she finally gave her full attention to the Ice Emperor, her whole body froze and her face became pale.
“Oh wow,” she shuddered, “It's really you.”
The Ice Emperor raised an eyebrow. What a… curious thing to say. The girl seemed to realize this as well, quickly shaking her head and muttering something under her breath before looking back at him.
“My name is Minerva.” she told the Emperor. “I don't have time to make you believe it or not, but I have come from the future. (Or maybe I guess the past, if I understand this world's rules?) Either way, I'm just passing through. I'm lost, and the moment your adviser realizes that I'm just super unlucky, then we can all go our separate ways.”
“Ridiculous.” Vex grumbled. “From the future? How is that even possible?”
“Well it is, just not with technology from your bass-ackwards world.”
“Emperor, please!” Vex now pleaded. “Toss her her the dungeons with our other prisoner. It's clear that she is not only a troublemaker, but a lunatic as well!”
The air chilled around them as the Ice Emperor thought it over. However, a part of this seemed… familiar? It was an odd feeling. He had to know more.
“Child, tell me… Are you truly lost here?”
“Yes.” she agreed- a small sense of desperation in her voice now. “Even if I came to this land intentionally, there would be only one thing I'd want to see. Now that I've seen it, I'd like to move onward.”
“She is lying, Emperor.” Vex then sneered. “Allow me to deal with her; she is obviously a deranged spy from the Formlings.”
The girl turned to Vex and gave the most disgusted glare she could give.
“I don't like you.” she grimaced. Hearing this, Vex gave a mildly unnerved grimace of his own.
“Within good reason, I assume.” he replied in a dark voice.
“Do you ever shut up?”
“Do you ever do as you're told?”
“No, actually. Just talk to my dad- I have four of them.”
“It is not possible to have four fathers, child.”
“Oh buddy, apparently your world has never heard of the term 'adoption' before, huh?”
As the two continued to bicker like children (and in the girl's defense, she was), the Ice Emperor considered his proper course of action.
There was something about this girl- something… familiar. It became evident in her voice when she was pleading her case. And her face… She knew him. This stranger, this girl, knew the Ice Emperor in some form or another. How could Vex not see this? Was it possible that the girl could know him when Vex could not? Never minding her odd tale, the Ice Emperor's mind only ran with the same phrase over and over; she knew him. She knew him.
Coming to his decision, the Ice Emperor turned his attention to Vex. In a hard, cold voice he said, “Leave.”
For a moment, Vex was too stunned to react.
“B-but your grace! I am your adviser! You can't simply shoo me away like a child or a-”
“Leave.”
A couple moments of silence filled the air between them before Vex actually did as he was told. His feet all but stomping on the ground as he made his leave. The girl didn't even bother to hide her satisfied smirk as Vex closed the door.
“Come closer, Minerva.” the Ice Emperor then beckoned, shocking the girl out of her reverie. There was no need to repeat the command, as Minerva quickly darted her way to the throne. She only stopped when she was a mere five paces from being toe to toe with the Emperor. From here, he had a much better view of her face.
Yes, there was definitely something familiar about this girl. But what? What was this nagging feeling that he was forgetting something important?
“How is… your bird?”
Minerva gave the Ice Emperor a quizzical, almost amused, look. Could he remember something that hasn't happened yet? In this world, any answer would have been a decent guess. Too bad she wasn't a science nerd...
“Always with me.” she told him, digging into her jacket to pull out a small metallic cube. The Ice Emperor started to reach out to the cube, but the smart girl put it away again before he could get too close. She then gave him a mischievous grin. “How did you know that I had a bird?”
Although she had no way of seeing it, the Ice Emperor frowned. How did he know that? The more time he spent with the this girl, the more peculiar she became. Strangers as they were, something kept pulling him closer to her. Something was missing and she knew what it was. The more he remained in her presence, the more obvious it wa-
“Don't! Touch me.” the Ice Emperor quickly demanded. Minerva, who had been absently moving close enough to almost brush against his leg, nearly jumped so far back that she could have fallen down the stairs. Calmly trying to gather himself up again, the Ice Emperor then amended with, “Your pendant is made of vengestone.”
“Huh?” came the initial reaction before Minerva realized what he was talking about. Instinctively, she placed a hand over her pendant in mild defense. She even mumbled a small, “Sorry...” in sincere apology.
The Ice Emperor gave her a pensive stare. “Remove your pendant, Minerva.”
“Why?”
For this, he did not have an answer. Instead, his grip tightened on his staff. Minerva happened to see the movement, as small as it was, and seemed to realize something. Without any need to be told twice, she carefully pulled the long chained pendant off of her, and found a place three stairs down to safely place it. Both of them knew that if Vex were still in the room, she never would have done such a thing. Foresight was occasionally a great gift to have.
When she looked up again, the Ice Emperor was holding out his hand. Minerva looked at it for a moment before carefully taking it. She moved a bit closer to him, kneeling down as she brought his hand up to her face. The Ice Emperor raised an eyebrow at this- it seemed to… soothe the girl.
“Even when you're stone cold, you're still so warm...” she smiled before putting his hand back down again. Minerva did not let go of his hand, though, and she remained on her knees in front of him.
In this moment of silence and tranquility, the Ice Emperor began to notice something about this peculiar girl.
“There is a great power within you,” he announced, almost sounding a bit surprised, “One that can spell a great ruin or indefinite peace.”
The girl smirked. “So I've been told.”
“You are not afraid?”
“Until recently, I never thought so.”
“What changed?”
“Family.”
Suddenly, a quick shock coursed through the Ice Emperor's body. That word… It triggered something deep within him. Voices, faint images. He couldn't tell if they were hints of his future or traces of her past. A small exchange, almost garbled by static, entered his mind's ear.
'Do you think that we, too, should start to have children, [NAME CACHE NOT STORED]?'
'What for? Is that not the role Minerva provides for us?'
And just like that, the vision was gone. The Emperor held Minerva's hand tighter- almost so tight that she had to struggle a bit out of reflex. She looked up in confusion. The moment had been so gentle before now, what happened? What he said next nearly made her heart skip a beat in shock.
“Stay Minerva- be my heir.”
“I… I can't.” she admitted, despite herself. She wanted to stay, she really did, but that was not how it was supposed to go. Any of it. Time travel (coupled with a really sheltered childhood) made you create really stupid scenarios like this- things you want to change or just to stay the same. But it can't. It wouldn't.
“You don't need me as an heir,” Minerva then told him, succeeding in getting her hand out of his grasp. “I think you know the reason why.”
He hated to admit that she was right. He knew why she could not stay, but why did it hurt so much to just let her go? The Ice Emperor recoiled a little as he tightened his grip on his staff again.
“In that case, leave this world as soon as you can, and never return. This world is not safe for strangers.”
“Understood.” she agreed with a nod. “Thank you for your audience.”
She received a small grunt as a reply, and without being told twice, Minerva picked up her pendant. The girl slipped the long chain back over her head, admired the pendant itself for a moment, before making her way back down the stairs. The Ice Emperor watched, hating that he was just letting her walk away. He needed to say more to her. He felt as if she could give him more answers than Vex ever could. But, no. He only let her get further away.
When the girl reached the bottom of the stairs, she paused.
“Remember Emperor,” she then said, slightly turning to him, “You were created to help those who can not help themselves.” And with that, the enigmatic girl named Minerva walked out of his throne room.

Lloyd's in prision. He saved that damn wolf's life and now he's paying the price.
How the hell is he supposed to find Zane from here?
"Hang in there, Zane." He was speaking to himself. Alone in his cell, he had nothing but his mind to comfort him now.
"Is.. someone there?" Something shuffled from the other cell. He couldn't see what, or who, but he wasn't the only one here.
He pushed his bruised body to the wall. "Yea, I'm here." He was so scared, so alone, he didn't know what to do anymore. It was like, for once, he had no destiny to fulfill.
"Are you.. stuck here like me?" The voice sounded weak. However he was, he's been here for a while.
Lloyd forced himself to smile at the wall. No, there was no way out. But he wasn't alone. "I am."
"Oh. Okay."
---
They had talked for the next two months. Lloyd was testing his shapeshifting while his new friend slept.
It was nice, having someone to talk to, even if he was never getting out.
They never told each other their names, never spoke about how they ended up here, where they were from.
It was all small talk. The stranger could talk Lloyd's ears off, something they had in common, apparently.
No, he wasn't a stranger. Not anymore. It was strange, never seeing someone in person, but knowing every small thing about them, as if you had known them your whole life.
"E2."
Battleship. They were playing battleship by drawing on the walls. Lloyd couldn't tell if his friend was ever cheating, hell, he could get away with cheating himself. They couldn't see each other.
Lloyd had taught him how to play about a week after he got thrown in. Right after he finally gave up all hope of escaping.
"Miss." There was something about having him there, hearing his voice, that made Llouyd smile. Yea, he was going to die in here. But he wasn't doing it alone.
A sudden pause. "When you first arrived," his friend started speaking, voice quiet. "You were talking to someone. You already explained it wasn't actually to someone, but I forgot to ask."
"Ask?" They had agreed nothing personal. Neither of them wanted to dwell on the lives they once lived. "Ask what?" It almost worried Lloyd.
"You're friend, they were named Zane."
Lloyd was shocked, if anything. He gave up on Zane, he clearly wasn't captive like he was told. "Yes, he was."
"Was." His voice was stern. "Are you aware what happened?"
A gulp. This wasn't going to be good, was it?
"We made a deal."
"You deserve to know the truth." Force, that wasn't a normal tone. Neither was it a good one.
"Know what?"
"Zane."
"What about him?"
"he..."
a pause.
"He's the ice emporer."
Lloyd could feel a jab in his heart. "Why should I trust you?!"
Another pause. "My name..." And another. "Its Kataru. I'm a formling. I.. know what its like to lose someone close to you... I thought it was time. Maybe I was wrong."
Standing up, Lloyd pressed his forehead against the wall. "You haven't lost everything."
"You don't know that." His voice was cold, harsh. He was shaking, by the sound of it.
Lloyd smiled, not even caring that Kataru couldn't see it. It was the thought that counted, right? "Your sister, Akita. She's okay."
"How..." he could hear the movement of the formlimg standing up. "How the hell would you know that?!"
"Why do you think I'm here?" He laughed. "You aren't the only one who'd risk everything to save her hyde."
There was a silence. Lloyd never said anything to the stuffled sniff that followed.
Zane was the reason he came, and Zane's the reason he's locked up. Hell, Zane's the one who beat him up when they first caught him.
He wanted to give up hope, so badly. But Kataru was happy, he gave the formling a small light in all the darkness his teammate caused.
Zane was his ninja. He would fix what he's done.
Starting with his cell buddy. His friend.
Kataru. The thought made him smile.
"Thank you." Silence. "For being there for me, and all."
"Of course." He decided then and there, he was getting Kataru to his sister.
And if it came to it..
He was going to kill the Ice Emporer.
