Gortash starting to treat Durge's wounds as a mere way of ensuring his ally doesn't die while he still needs them.

Durge begrudgingly allowing it bc fighting against it is more trouble than it's worth, though they're a little peeved by the idea first. Letting others treat their wounds feels too vulnerable, too...intimate.

Gortash slowly establishing that as the means of control because well-treated dog is a loyal dog and he needs Durge loyal to him.

Durge getting used to that because for the first time ever they're offered comfort, for the first time ever their pain eases, even if only the physical one. Learning they don't have to bear pain, what they can simply go to Gortash and he'll make the best healers take it away. Or better yet, would bandage their cuts himself, almost as if he cares.

This gradually turning into routine to the point where Durge once gets hurt Badly, blacks out and drags their uncooperative body to Gortash's house bc subconscious is a bitch and connected Gortash = comfort/relief/no pain/etc.

Gortash being met with the bloody unconscious body of his ally on the floor of his bedroom and being both annoyed and, strangely, relieved, because his plan of leashing Bhaalspawn is working and because he'd prefer to know if Durge is hurt and be in control of their healing.

can i just scream about blood4blood for a second? AAAA. i absolutely adored it. it's sexy and so fucking lesbian. it's so rare to see any depiction of butches in media in general much less an actually butch narrator/MC but also just any depiction of lesbian sex that deviates from cishetero norms or to see any mention of "pillow princess" being used in non-disparaging ways, so this was SO refreshing. the characters felt so reflective of real people. thank you for your service to lesbian kind with both this and your other works. 💖

Saw some talk about creating character ask blogs on my dash earlier today! And as many of you know, I have a plethora of characters to pull from...

But, I also have a full schedule so making ask blogs is a little out of my spoon range at present.

That said, would anyone be interested in me doing little brain rot posts with my ocs instead? Of course, my writing blog (@not-krys) is full of WIP Wednesdays involving them but this will be even more off the cuff, like if there's a thing happening in their game and I just need to comment on it? Or something going on in RL that makes me think about my OCs and their boos, and I just need to share it with you guys?

In my writing files, I actually do have a doc where I keep random thought blerbs where I put things that come to mind about my girlies. Sometimes it's just a sentence or two, sometimes it goes into meta, sometimes it just screaming about something cute going on, things like that.

Would anyone be interested in something like that? I can't promise they'll be a regular thing, but I do love sharing about my OCs and brain-rotting is the most available method of me doing so.

Asks are also available if anyone has questions or just wants to shoot ideas at me if that's more your thing!

BRUH my godson had his first parents’ day and i went along coz he wanted me to and the review his white teacher said was so ?????

problem 1 - he can’t communicate in straight english, I.e. there’s always a word or two from another language mixing in. my colonizer brother, the kid knows FIVE LANGUAGES. he’s FIVE YEARS OLD. i doubt the teacher could speak a language other than English???

my friends (the parents) were livid. the teacher was basically saying that since my godkid is half-brit (and not even white, god forbid) only, then of course he’s gonna have a hard time with language and we were like ??? he has no problems speaking any of the languages he knows, and we’re not in ENGLAND. this is a YOU problem. ofc the kid is going to know the local language and it will mix in. he’s FIVE. oh my god???? the racial undertones were rancid.

problem 2 - he can read fine but they’re not sure about his comprehension re: what he read. my friend was like, “yeah WE taught him how to read at home but isn’t it high time YOU also do your jobs?” lmao. the other kids in the class don’t even know HOW to read, and they come at my godkid for this? he should be put in an advanced class at this point.

this is not a cheap school. this is an international British school where expats send their kids and the quality is just so shitty oh my god esp given the insane tuition yall have to pay per kid.
