10 Things that would’ve Improved the Game of Thrones Final Season (For Me)
So it came to my attention that recently it was the First Anniversary of the Final Episode of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’. I was taken back to my memory of the BinGOT thing we had at work where we all made predictions of who lived, died and ‘won’ from the last ep (I was in 2nd or 3rd place). And since my mother has started binging it during quarantine I thought in the spirit of that environment I’d discuss a little what I would’ve changed in the final season.
Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 8 Below, if you haven’t watched it then you’re better off not reading this frankly, if you haven’t been spoiled already at least.
So for starters, the final episode is not the worst tv I’ve ever seen, it just was a sloppy final season in general that really didn’t satisfy the 2 years of hype waiting for it, it’s like with the How I Met Your Mother finale, but that annoyance being more than one episode. But without further ado here are 10 things I would’ve changed about the final season Note: Most will involve the finale. The first 2 episodes were great.
10 - Ten Episodes The Long Night was 1 episode, the LONG NIGHT. A Culmination of the army of living and dead confined into one episode. One of the main problems with the final season was that the pacing was a bit rushed, it made character progression seem unnatural and dropped long-built plot points like water through a sieve. With 10 episodes, which was not a big ask given that this was the usual number and the gravitas of it being the final season would easily allow it to be green lit. D&D immediately backed themselves into a corner by giving a limit they weren’t used to and too much content to put in.
9 - Bite of the Spider Varys’ death was an upsetting start of the penultimate episode, while I would’ve loved him to have survived start to end and potentially ended on top (because he’s never shown to be as cunning or dangerous as he is in the books) there was some sense in him dying. However, Varys was shown sending a letter before his arrest and that never came back up, the finale could’ve used this by revealing to the public Jon’s true heritage, which would’ve immediately undermined Dany’s claim and set up a better conflict. Also we never knew what the voice in the flames said to him...
8 - A More Fitting Long Night While everyone probably popped hard for Arya killing the Night King, myself included, the nature of it was rather abrupt. I don’t think anyone can buy that she sneaked past that entire army. I do feel like the Night King was just a MacGuffin for the Long Night, given that he did so little in the actual fight. This is where a multi-part Long Night would’ve been key as well, going from the Night King being immune to Dragonfire to dying a bit later was not a good pace, and we lacked any conflict with Jon like we teased twice, Arya probably wasn’t the most poetic person to kill him either but GoT seldom did poetic deaths (Joffrey, Cersei, Euron). While the Long Night had exemplary deaths like Theon, Lyanna, Jorah and Beric, the Night King fell among the ranks of Melisandre and Edd in terms of meh deaths. The Long Night should’ve been a bigger bloodbath than it was, half the Dothraki somehow survived remember, we didn’t get to see Ghost fight at all either, no giant spiders, a lot of the tension was lost with the way some fight scenes were filmed; it was too easy to read between the lines and not enough characters had any true ‘oh god this person could die’ scenes.
7 - Resolution for the Characters we didn’t See and Plots unresolved With so much funding and finality in the show, there felt like there could’ve been more stuff that could’ve been resolved; what was the Quaith’s prophecy about? What really happened with the Doom of Valyria? Why does Dragonglass and Valyrian steel kill White Walkers? What is Daario doing after Dany died? Were the Faceless Men really that okay with letting Arya wander around knowing their skillset? Nobody hired them to help in the war either. What happened to the remnants of that warlock dude who stole the baby dragons, they sent one scorpion and that’s it, what happens with the Little Birds now that they’re leaderless? Who was Azor Ahai? What were the spirals about? There are a lot of questions the show kinda just, ignored.
6 - The Mad Queen So, Dany going from ‘I’ll stop if they surrender’ to ‘Burn them fucking all’ was abrupt for many, the majority of fans were not ready or willing to accept turning on their Kaleesi in just one episode. While I could see the conclusion coming from being jumped, losing another ‘child’ and her closest friend as well as her new boyfriend being her nephew and a legitimate threat to her legitimacy despite already pledging fealty, Dany’s descent could’ve used more time, and less naivety.  While the death of the dragon was a huge shock, the idiocy fell on Dany in thinking that Cersei would play fair and wouldn’t try to occupy Dragonstone while she abandoned it. There also fell inconsistency when the same fleet and rows of Scorpion crossbows suddenly got Stormtrooper aim during ‘The Bells’. Euron is a renowned sailor, he ruined a Dornish fleet in a previous season, he may be an annoying bastard but you have to treat his naval tactics with a bit more respect - and make Dany less stupid with Cersei doing Cersei things. A lot of people definitely needed more time in buying the idea that Dany had lost her cool and that she blamed all of Westeros to justify burning everyone unashamedly.
5 - Proper Redemption We all know who we’re talking about. Jaime, Jaime, Jaime. In the end he just proved Olenna’s point didn’t he? And his turn away from redemption was only to serve as an example point for Tyrion to use to convince Jon to kill Dany. Jaime didn’t have to live, but he didn’t have to die rushing to Cersei’s rescue, or even due to Euron stabbing him. If anything Jaime should’ve died with some Honour, to be the inverse of Ned as he was presented in Season 1.
4 - My Lady does not have to mean M’Lady This is probably the most selfish ones of my 10 but as a shipper at my very heart and soul I wanted one, at least one, ship to survive this entire turmoil and Gendry and Arya were that couple. We almost had it as well, but then for some mad reason D&D decided that Gendry, despite literally saying that “none of it will be worthwhile if you’re not with me”, stayed in Storm’s End. Arya’s character endgame was right in her venturing off not being bound by the fact that she’s a noble, but Gendry spent a lot of time not caring that he was of Kingsblood to basically being his Father’s son. He’ll rule Storm’s End, marry some woman to have kids, but he’ll still have fallen into the same pit as King Robert did. It would’ve been much more satisfying and hopeful if Gendry abandoned the titles and land he never wanted or needed to accompany someone he loves and who loves him back on an adventure into the unknown. She’s not a ‘lady’ if she’s only marrying a blacksmith and love is the death of duty.
3 - Sansa is NOT Smart (and gets what she actually deserves) Right. So I really, really didn’t like Sansa. Like, I get it, she got held hostage by the Lannisters, watched her father get beheaded, got accused of murder, learned that her brother and mother died, watched the guy who fancied her mother and kissed her kill her aunt and then got effectively sold to an abuser in an arranged marriage. But Sansa is not the smartest player in the game, it was annoying that they tried to portray her as one, she had one idea that anyone could’ve told you ‘don’t be stupid against Ramsay Bolton’. She spent all of Season 8 mainly giving side eye like a petty bitch, completely trying to undermine Dany despite the two being very very similar (remember Dany was raped, sold off in an arranged marriage and watched family members get killed too) to the point where she was conspiring for Jon to usurp her. And in reality she took her ball and left, she was so pissy that the leaders didn’t pick her to be Queen of Westeros that she literally pointed out her own brother’s infertility, claimed that the North wouldn’t bow to a monarch, then declared herself Queen.  Hide the ‘Yas Queen’ goggles for a sec, this wasn’t empowering she was throwing her own brother under the bus because she wanted to be queen, and she learned far too much from Littlefinger and Cersei’s playbook to actually be a just one. The North is allowed to be an independent nation, but Sansa’s ‘victory’ was more earned by virtue of a lot of shit happened to her than her actually demonstrating qualities to be queen.
2 - Bran Stark can’t come to the Phone right now... While we’re on the subject of Stark children not being fit rulers, Bran. What a cockamamie decision that was. I was 100% behind the destruction of the Iron Throne, but the chorus of laughter with a democratic rule was a bit of a slap in the face. Of all the choices though, Bran had to be near the bottom, it felt completely unearned that he spent literal seasons disconnecting from the world even to the point where he told Meera and Sam that Bran Stark is no longer here anymore only for Bran Stark to magically resurface when a crown is in waiting. I think it defeats the whole Three Eyed Raven thing too, the guy isn’t really one for the people, which is the problem every other ruler before him failed at. If you can’t pick a just person to lead, then why not a council instead? Just using Bran was a poor and messy decision.
1 - THE MOTHERFUCKING VALONQUAR One of the few expectations across all of Game of Thrones was the wondering over whether Cersei was gonna get what’s coming to her, the Maggy the Frog prophecy was going along quite well up until the Valonquar bit, where the younger sibling that was going to choke the life out of her was: bricks. BRICKS! Of all the long-winded prophecy foreshadowings to drop this one was the worst, Cersei (and Jaime) died in underwhelming, thoughtless fashion, the lack of fanfare on killing off one of the best and most ‘love to hate’ villains in the show only cemented the fact that the finale was not able to live up to the hype. True, most of these are small changes, but it’s worth remembering that there was some good coming out of the final season and it was the lack of those little things and attention to detail that led to the season ending on an underwhelming note.
We did however get a good ton of memes out of it, and at work a long-winded discussion on who should get the ‘winner’ 5-points (compared to the 1 correct points) since we had technically agreed that the 5 points goes to “whoever correctly guesses who sits on the Iron Throne” XD I still can’t believe I was right in Drogon melting the throne though that was one in a million

Proposing a Proposal: Why the Idea Works, But Not in the Way You May Think – A Review of GoT Redirection
In 8x01, “Winterfell”, we had a scene where Davos, Tyrion, and Varys are observing Jon and Dany from the battlements of Winterfell.
Davos: “The Northmen are loyal to Jon Snow not to [Daenerys] her. They don’t know her. The Free Folk don’t know her. I’ve been up here a while and I’m telling you they’re as stubborn as goats. You want their loyalty, you have to earn it.”
Tyrion: “I sense that you’re leading to a proposal.”
Davos: “A proposal is what I’m proposing. On the off chance that we survive the Night King, what if the Seven Kingdoms, for once in their whole shit-history, were ruled by a just woman and an honorable man?”
Varys claims, “Nothing lasts.” However, beyond his point, GoT has a history of teasing possible marriages only to skew these relationships into something else. This kind of redirection has been shown multiple times in the series, for better and for worse. It is through marriage that the strongest relationship between two individuals and their respective houses is created. Here are some examples to date:
Brandon Stark & Catelyn Tully --> Ned Stark & Catelyn Tully (for security)
             - Catelyn deeply loved Brandon and they were engaged to be wed up until his death by the hands of the Mad King. To maintain the alliance between House Tully and House Stark, Catelyn was promised to Brandon’s brother, Ned, and although they did not love each other at the time they were married, they grew to. As Catelyn said, they built their love “stone by stone”. Ned and Cat’s relationship remains the healthiest we have seen thus far on the entire show.
Cersei Lannister & Rhaegar Targaryen --> Cersei Lannister & Robert Baretheon (for power via Tywin Lannister)
             - Cersei was enamored with Prince Rhaegar since she was a little girl and dreamed of marrying him in hopes of becoming his queen, but instead, Rhaegar married Elia Martell and he was later killed by Robert Baratheon during the Rebellion. Tywin would then marry Cersei off to Robert, the new king, and we all know how that turned out.
Lyanna Stark & Robert Baratheon --> Lyanna Stark & Rhaegar Targaryen (for love)
             - Lyanna was promised to Robert prior to the Rebellion. She was renowned as a wild beauty with a kind heart, but even she would not overlook Robert’s adulterous ways: “Love is sweet, dearest Ned, but it cannot change a man's nature.” Based on the show’s interpretation, Lyanna and Rhaegar truly loved each other and ran away to be wed in secret, after Rhaegar annulled his marriage to Elia. Lyanna would die from childbirth just after bringing Aegon Targaryen VI (AKA Jon Snow) into the world, whom Ned Stark swore to keep safe. Her apparent kidnapping at the hands of the Targaryen prince was the match that started the flames of Robert’s Rebellion and the rest is history.
Robb Stark & Roslin Frey --> Robb Stark & Talisa (for love)
             - THE RED WEDDING. Need I say more?
Sansa Stark & Loras Tyrell --> Sansa Stark & Tyrion Lannister (for power via Tywin Lannister)
             - With the pending doom of Robb’s fall from power, Sansa becomes identified as the new “key to the North”. In season 3, Lady Olenna Tyrell and Varys discuss marrying Sansa to Loras to strengthen House Tyrell’s seat of power and to prevent Littlefinger from whisking Sansa away for himself. But before any of this can occur, Tywin swoops in and has Tyrion marry Sansa instead as their heir would inherit Casterly Rock and Winterfell, further strengthening House Lannister’s influence.  Then, THE PURPLE WEDDING.
Jon Snow & Daenerys Targaryen --> ? (for ?)
             - The show has mentioned a possible marriage between Jon and Dany twice now: once by Littlefinger and again by Davos. And the unification would have been favorable had Jon Snow remained the respected Northern bastard everyone else thought he was, but he isn’t. He never was. He is Aegon Targaryen VI, son of Prince Rhaegar and Lady Lyanna Stark, apparent heir to the Iron Throne. When the Northern lords find out Jon is a Targaryen, they will be furious. But when they find out he’s a Targaryen who bent the knee to another Targaryen, because he loves her, and said-Targaryen desires to rule the Seven Kingdoms, which includes the North, the lords will be relentless.
Whether you like it or not, whether it’s fair or not, the show has reiterated this fact to us time-and-time again: The North is very prejudiced against the Targaryens.
The North remembers. They remember the Mad King. They remember Rickard and Brandon being burned alive. They remember their beloved Lyanna being “kidnapped”. They remember Aegon the Conqueror, the subjugation endured under his reign, and having to give up their independence.
Even Lord Royce, who isn’t Northern, said a Targaryen cannot be trusted.
They will consider Jon’s parentage a betrayal to the North and may even accuse him of giving the North to Daenerys because he’s a Targaryen. They will question his Northern roots, despite the fact that he is still very much half-Stark.
Jon and Dany’s union would be one the North would never accept and it would deepen the rift between House Targaryen and the North even further.
What is the best way to mitigate discord? Marriage, of course. But to who?
THEORY: Jon Snow & Daenerys Targaryen --> Jon Snow & Sansa Stark (for security)
             - Now, I know many of you are thinking “Wait, aren’t they cousins?” Yes, they are, and so were Tywin and Joanna Lannister, among others. It’s odd, I get it, but it makes the most sense. Sansa Stark, as the Lady of Winterfell, holds the most powerful seat in the North along with having the support of two other Great Houses in House Tully (Riverrun – Uncle Edmure) and House Arryn (The Vale – Sweet Robin). A union with Jon would secure four out of the six Great Houses remaining, except for Lannister. Possibly even five out of the six depending on where the Greyjoys stand after the war; we know Theon supports Sansa, but Yara would have to declare for them too. This is Game of Thrones we’re talking about, where power comes from the spread of influence, and the show has purposefully set up House Stark to have, possibly, the greatest influence over what is left of the Seven Kingdoms. Jon and Sansa’s union would be one for security, similar to Ned and Cat: it would be able to shield Jon from the Northern prejudice and keep the Stark Pack together. There are also underlying threads of poetic justice here: Robert’s Rebellion began over the convergence of a Stark and a Targaryen, and The Great War would end with the convergence of a Stark and a Targaryen. Not to mention threads of irony: A Targaryen ends up marrying someone he thought was his sister, but is actually his cousin, and Sansa grew up dreaming she would marry a prince and was betrothed to Joffrey (actually bastard, not a prince), only to end up marrying Jon (actually a prince, not a bastard). Davos’ words still hold true in this case too. The Seven Kingdoms would be ruled by a just woman and an honorable man. Sansa is pragmatic and Jon is a natural-born leader; a healthy balance of what it takes to rule. Whether they rule from the Iron Throne or maintain an independent North, Stark loyalty is fierce and anyone under their protection would thrive.
It’s rumored the final book of the series was going to be titled “A Time for Wolves”.
This story started with the Starks. I see no better way to end it.
I know some of you may ask, where does that leave Dany? Truth be told, I don’t know. I just hope that, wherever they take her character, it’s somewhere compelling, memorable, and epic, because she deserves that. Daario once called her a conqueror. In a perfect world, I imagine she, Arya, and Drogon go off to discover what’s west of Westeros.
A/N: Friendly reminder this is just a theory in regards to a possible ending to GoT! It is not meant to demean, judge, or bash any of the characters mentioned above. GRRM spent nearly 30 years crafting characters with such depth and even if you don’t agree with their philosophy or ways of doing things, I think you should still respect them as they are and all the work that has gone into developing them. Keep the comments section peaceful. Let’s enjoy the next 5 weeks to come. I’m sure we’ll all cry together once it’s over.

"...and so she offers you a trueborn Targaryen in exchange for Northern independence."
Gen, Jon & Daenerys
"And that is why my...cousin sent me to you, your grace. You brought dragons back, she knows how important it is to...keep the bloodline pure," it seemed to pain Jon to say the words, but he soldiered on, "and so she offers you a trueborn Targaryen in exchange for Northern independence."
Whatever she'd expected of Jon Snow, King in the North, Daenerys could have never guessed this. She looked between the silver stringed harp and the red and black marriage cloak again, remembering Ser Barristan's confirmation of their authenticity. How had both sides of history managed to go so wrong? Even with all the kind words about her brother she'd received, she would have never guessed he'd run off with Lady Lyanna to marry her.
Daenerys glanced to her side--Ser Barristan had been staring at Jon Snow quizzically when he'd entered, but now he appeared as though he'd seen a ghost. He looks like my brother, she thought, and Ser Barristan hadn't known why. Now, looking at Jon Snow more closely, Daenerys could even spot the similarities to Viserys. And herself.
On her other side, Tyrion looked equal parts bemused and astounded. He'd been the one to tell her of Jon Snow's mother being a mystery, he had thought the answer had died with Ned Stark. He could have never known Jon Snow would give out that information at the very first meeting between them.
"You do not seem pleased by this discovery, my lord."
He looked down at the harp, eyes narrowed. "I spent my entire life as Ned Stark's bastard. I defined myself by that. Ned Stark's son. A bastard." His eyes went to Tyrion for a moment, something passing between them she could not understand, then he looked straight at her. "Now I find out that neither of those things were true. And, more than that, the man I thought was my father in all ways let me throw my life away at the Wall to protect the man who killed my blood father." There was rage sneaking through his cold mask, a fire burning in his eyes, and for the first time there was no mistaking the Targaryen in him. "No, your grace, this does not please me."
She studied him, weighing her options. Another Targaryen, something she never thought she'd find again...and, yet, could she risk marrying him? If she could have no children, she would doom their family.
"We will discuss marriage at dinner tonight, nephew," a part of her thrilled at using the relation and she didn't think she'd ever stop, "until then, you clearly need rest from your travels and I need to discuss this new development with my council."
He stared at her for a moment, then gave a quick bow and left the room.
***
When Sansa had told Jon of her plot, he'd been angry at her, at the situation. That anger hadn't subsided yet. It had sustained him on the trip down to Dragonstone, the new capital of Westeros until King's Landing could be repaired, and it had gotten him through that first, awkward meeting with the Queen and her council.
He hadn't expected it to be something the Queen took pleasure in, but every time he lost control of his mask, he could see delight flare in her eyes.
"It does make me wonder, nephew, what your cousin thinks she's doing," the Queen continued, drawing Jon's attention back to the conversation.
"My queen?" How easily those words slipped from his lips, as though he'd never been a king just a moon ago.
"She offers you up as payment, specifically because you are a Targaryen...but if that's the case, am I not the head of your house? Is it not my decision whether or not you marry someone?"
Jon blinked at her, head cocking to the side as the implications of what she said sunk in. "That's...that's true."
Sansa couldn't sell him. She had no power over him at all, except inasmuch as he was of the North and she was now the queen there.
Smirking, and still looking radiant despite that smug look, Daenerys downed the rest of her wine and motioned to her servant for a refill. He watched all of it, taking in the grace of her actions, the pompous ease of her commands. There was no denying she was a great beauty and one clearly used to ruling. It made it harder to see their relation, though.
"I will not accept you as payment for Northern independence as she cannot give you as such. If your cousin wants to keep her ill-begotten crown, she'll need to give me a much better deal than returning what her father stole from my family."
Jon winced, but he couldn't deny it. He still wondered, sometimes, if there had been more Targaryens in the world, if it had been safer to send Jon onto them, if Ned Stark would have bothered, or if he would have kept him still, letting years of abuse for a fake identity weigh down on him.
"And what will happen to me, your grace?"
Daenerys reached over the table, taking one of his hands in hers. "You will stay here, of course, in our ancestral seat. It's only fitting, as you are the Prince of Dragonstone."
He sucked in a breath, realizing that must be true. If she was Queen and he was the only other Targaryen left...he was her heir.
"And what is your true name, nephew?"
Jon thought of what he'd been told it was, by the creature that had once been his little brother, his anger flaring again. No, he would not take that name, whatever plots his father had been brewing, he would take no part in them. Instead, he thought of what other Targaryen names he knew and the decision was not difficult.
"I would prefer to remain Jon, Aunt Daenerys, but if I can't, it would be Aemon."
"A fine name," she declared, squeezing his hand. "Well met, Aemon of House Targaryen, Prince of Dragonstone."
He ducked his head, returning her greeting near askance. His cousin might have stripped him of the crown he'd been rightfully given, for his deeds more than his blood, but now he'd gained another, and one that no one could so easily take. Fate was a trickster if ever there was one.
Notes: I was thinking about all the fics where KitN Jon is betrothed to Dany and all the fics where Sansa takes or hints at taking the Northern crown from Jon when he's outed as a Targ, and then of course the end of the show, and this came about.
It's an AU where Dany took King's Landing (let's say she burned it to the ground and then blamed Cersei and claimed it was wildfire lol) and is now Queen. She still has three dragons and the North is worried she'll want them back, so Sansa gift wraps Jon up and ships him South as a present to buy Northern Independence.

First Impression Game of Thrones 8x02
So, I caved in and watched episode 8x02 of GoT. I’m going to leave my impressions under the cut for those who wish to read them.
S
P
O
I
L
E
R
First, the episode was much better than I had anticipated, It’s actually a very good episode. Much better than episode 1. I took some notes while watching the episode, so here we go
- The episode starts with Dany, Jon, and Sansa in the Great Hall with Jaime. Dany asks rightly so, why she should trust him. The stuff about her father isn’t great but here you have it. Sansa agrees with Dany until Brienne comes to Jaime’s rescue and vouches for him. Sansa trust Brienne and so accepts her suggestion. Dany then asks Jon, as Warden of the North, what they should do. Jon says then need every fighter they can get. Dany is not exactly happy about it but accepts both Jon and Sansa’s council and allows Jaime to stay and fight.
- Tyrion does try to talk in Jaime’ s behalf but Dany reminds him that he’s given her bad advice already. Tyrion knows she’s right.
- Tyrion is walking with Jorah and Varys and says to them that before this is all over one of them is going to be wearing the Hand of the Queen pin.
- Jaime and Bran have a talk, and Jaime mentions what will happen when this is all over, and Bran says to him, “how do you know there’ll be an afterward.” Not ominous at all.
- Dany and Jorah have a heart to heart. Jorah mentions how he was hurt that she named Tyrion hand of the Queen but it was the right move. He then councils Dany to forgive Tyrion and also says something else we don’t see but find out in the next scene.
- Dany finds Sansa in the library and they have a lovely conversation. Jorah clearly advises Dany to seek Sansa out, so this is the second time in the episode that Dany takes and follows the advice of her advisors. Dany gives Sansa a lovely complement saying that leading people who don’t want to be lead by a woman is hard but that she’s done a good job of it. Dany also mentions that all her life she’s been fighting to take back the IT from the people who destroyed her family and then mentions these same people also tried to destroy the Starks. Dany had been focused on this pursuit until she met Jon who she loves and who she's now focused on fighting alongside with him in his war. I didn’t like the “his war” part because they are supposed to be doing this together but alas, the writers aren’t always consistent. Nonetheless, it’s a lovely moment until Sansa brings it back to what’s going to happen after the war and if the North is going to be independent. Dany’s clearly annoyed by this because she was making an effort and connecting with Sansa up to this point.
- They get interrupted for Theon's return. It’s a lovely scene, Dany’s happy that Yara is free. I loved the hug between Theon and Sansa and I’m shipping them. I don’t care.
- They are in the war council when Bran says that the Night King is after him because he holds the memory of the world and the Night King wants everything to die. I don’t know what of think of this. On the one hand, it makes sense but on the other, it’s a little too obvious to declare the Night King’s purpose just like that. So, I still think there’s more to the Night King than killing Bran. I think Bran might be playing a chess game and he’s not ready to reveal what the Night King is truly after which I still believe is Jon and Dany’s baby.
- Tyrion says he’ll be with the fighters but Dany tells him she wants him in the crypts. She tells him that if anything happens he’s the smartest person there and they need his mind. Once again, for the third time in the episode, Dany takes her advisors council (Jorah again). Also, she gives a public compliment to Tyrion to smooth away the scolding she gave him earlier.
- The war council ends and Jon leaves avoiding Dany again, he did it early in the Great Hall, clearly not ready to talk to Dany.
- Tyrion stays behind with Bran and asks Bran to tell him his story. I think that Tyrion will figure something out based on what Bran tells him, something probably Bran hasn’t even thought about. Dany had just called him the smartest person there, so there is something Tyrion will figure out about what the Night King is after I’m sure.
- The northern children being racist towards Missandei and Gray Worm, not cool. But I did like that when they were talking about sailing away once Dany has the IT, the Unsullied would defend the peaceful people from Nath. Hearteyes.
- Finally, Ghost makes an appearance.
- Tyrion has this conversation with Jaime and he says he’s not whoring anymore because he’s trying self-betterment but I also get the impression it might be because of Dany. Also, Tyrion defends Dany to Jaime.
- Grendrya - my girl is all grown up.
- Jaime knighting Brienne was really nice. I liked the scene.
- Lyanna Mormont and Jorah have a disagreement, he wants her to be in the crypts and she wants to fight. I got a bad feeling about this. I think the Little Bear might be in danger.
- Sam gives Jorah Hearthsbane and it’s a nice scene. Whatever is going on between Sama and Dany doesn’t affect the relationship between Sam and Jorah.
- The final scene is between Jon and Dany in the crypts. It’s a good scene, the reveal is much better for Dany than it was for Jon. Dany, of course, doesn’t believe it at first. Then she if true it’ll make Jon heir to the IT and she’s not happy about it. Then they get interrupted because the Army of the Dead has arrived.
Going back to Dany’s reaction to Jon I can’t push away the feeling that Dany’s conversation with Sansa and what Sansa says to Dany about an independent north has to be very present in Dany’s mind.
In her conversation with Sansa in the library, Sansa insinuates that men do stupid things for love. Dany answers her by saying she’s there because she loves Jon and so who’s manipulating who.
Now, this happens, bringing back that conversation Dany had with Jon which now she might wonder if Jon is manipulating her after all or if not that whether there’s more going on that she [Dany] understands. Because she believes she’s there for pure reasons but maybe the Starks reason might not be so pure.
What I’m trying to say is that her conversation with Sansa has unsettled how she received the information from Jon. Of course, we all know this is not what Jon’s about. But they never get into that because their conversation is interrupted.
Once the conversation is interrupted they both get to work because there’s something way more important than what they just discussed. So, Dany can clearly set her own feelings aside for the big picture.
Bottom line, she might not have taken the information well (understandably so) however, the episode went out of its way to show that Dany is someone who listens, even if she’s upset or doesn’t always agree she listens and she does what’s right.
Also, I love how the matter of incest has still not come up and probably won’t be an issue at all or a very small one at best. Jon did not seem bothered at all about Dany cozying up to him in the crypts. In fact, he held her close to him before he told her the truth. He still loves her and wants to be with her.
Finally, even after the reveal, Jon and Dany are still in sync with each other. When the horn sounds and they head outside they know exactly what they are going to do and go about their plan.

I might have more thoughts late.

I’ve seen a lot of Sansa hating around, especially after the last episode and it seems like there is one specific accusation being thrown around, not just by fans but by the show as well in a way, and I feel it should be addressed.
People seem to complain, like both Daenerys and Missandei more or less kindly pointed out, that the north as a whole and especially Sansa do not seem to accept Daenerys’ rule over them for No Reason™, nor do they show enough gratitude towards her help in fighting the Night King.
I want to make one thing very clear. Daenerys did not bring her army and dragons to defeat the Night King in exchange for Jon kneeling to her and getting the north’s help in her war against Cersei. That was the whole point of her relationship with Jon. He wouldn’t kneel to a ruler who doesn’t see the true danger humanity faces, and she won’t help unless he kneels. But she is the one to break first. She is the one who pledges her army, her dragons, herself to fight, not the north’s war, but all of humanity’s war. And that’s why Jon knelt. She doesn’t ask him to, she simple declares that she will stand by their side in the war. When he calls her his queen she even questions him about all the people who pledged themselves to him, only for him to assure her that they will come to see her for who she is.
But this isn’t about the north. The Night King isn’t some local lord threatening Winterfell. This is death itself coming to claim all life on earth (or at least Westeros, if they can’t swim...). Winterfell and the north as a whole just happen to be first in the way of the army of the dead. Make no mistake - if Winterfell were in the south and King’s Landing were in the north or if the Wall were in the south, Jon would have gathered all the forces he could muster and march to fight the Night King. Would such a situation entail different behavior from some of the characters similarly to Cersei’s actions? Probably. But you know very well that Jon would do whatever he can to stop the Night King and his family would do whatever they can to help (even if it would take some convincing first).
And how do I know that? because that’s exactly what Daenerys did, and so did Jaimy. Jaimy didn’t joint the Starks. He didn’t join Daenerys. He saw the truth - that death was coming to kill everyone. He swore to protect the living and he kept his oath, even if he betrayed Cersei in the process. In this case, he clearly isn’t going back to her to join her ranks. That ship (pun intended) has long sailed when she refused to send her armies north and basically agreed to kill him. It just so happens that almost all the “good” people are in the north close to the Wall and most of the “bad” people are in the south so we don’t really see any more examples of such amazing conflicts of interests.
Daenerys didn’t ask Jon to kneel for her help. She offered it freely. It was Jon who decided to pledge himself and relinquish the north’s claim for independence to her. Now, we can talk about whether it was a good decision or not and there’s an amazing discussion that can be held in regards to regional autonomy and questions of independence within a federated entity or any form of state government, but this isn’t the issue here. Daenerys pledging her forces to fight the Night King is her duty as a human, not as a potential queen of Westeros and it is not reliant upon the north’s submission to her. And her conversation with Sansa showed exactly that.
Sansa did show her gratitude to Daenerys and even apologized for not doing it earlier. So at least on this regard you can’t really complain. But, again, that has nothing to do with the north, and Sansa makes it very clear. So she asks - what are you going to do with us after the war? It’s not hard to understand why she, and all of the north, are fearful of what can only be described as a foreign conqueror, the daughter of the man who brought so much suffering to them in particular. And not only that, the north has declared their independence not once but twice, crowning both Robb and Jon as their kings. They don’t wan’t to be a part of the Seven Kingdoms. And Jon pledging his loyalty to Daenerys is all fine and dandy, but it’s Sansa who’s gonna have to rule over a people who have just been subjugated to an outsider ruler against their will, again.
All I’m saying is that the Night King and the north’s independence are completely different issues that shouldn’t be discussed in the same breath. And that maybe you should give Sansa a little more credit as someone who genuinely cares for her people and not just some bitchy little girl who makes faces at Daenerys.

I’m going to say something a little bit controversial here.  But I’m maybe the only person on Earth who actually loved the Game of Thrones finale.
Please keep in mind of course that I am basing this mostly from the perspective of a fan of the books, who has seen a handful of episodes, (well, all of season 1 now.  But only the sporadic episode after that).  I’m saying this because it means my evaluation of the finale is less based on its execution (which from what I have seen is a little, um, spotty) and more based on the overall story that I perceive from the books/first season/sporadic episodes.
So, basically take me with a grain of salt as I talk about what I genuinely loved about the Game of Thrones finale.  But anyway, these are things I’ve loved about the finale, in no particular order.
1) That NONE of the prophecies fully came true.
One of the big complaints I’ve seen, understandably so, is that Jaime should have killed Cersei, per the Valonquar prophecy.  That Cersei wasn’t really supplanted by a younger and more beautiful queen (since Daenerys never really sat on the Iron Throne, her ultimate successor was Bran).  That Arya never killed that last significant green-eyed person.  That the three-headed dragon thing came to nothing.  And so on and so forth.
But that’s actually what I loved about it.
See, ONE missed prophecy is a plot hole.  The writers either forgot how to fit it in, or wrote themselves in a corner.  But here, EVERY prophecy is missed in one way or another.  NONE of them fully came true. And that strikes me as very much intentional.
Game of Thrones is has a number of characters who have destroyed their own lives, or at the very least, made their lives a shit ton harder than they needed to be because of fucking prophecy.
Rhaegar is the biggest example, of course.  Rhaegar is so obsessed with the idea of a three-headed dragon that he discards his actual wife and children, because she can’t give him a third, to start fresh with someone else.  By doing this, he actually ends up destroying his family.  TWICE.
By kidnapping Lyanna, he provides the last straw for Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark to bring down the Targaryen line.  And then the child he creates finishes the job by killing Daenerys as she’s finally taken their throne back.
Aerys was always going to be a problem, but he’s a problem that might have been ended with a coup and a Regency in favor of his far more reasonable son.  Rhaegar was the one who ensured that the Targaryens as a whole would fall.
Cersei is another example.  Her obsession with the Valonquar prophecy caused her to alienate her brothers and treat every perceived rival with harshness and suspicion.  She lost her chance at valuable allies and assets because of this.
Basically, in the GOT world, prophecies are bullshit and people who follow them bring about their own doom.  And I really enjoy that.
2) Daenerys Targaryen was never going to sit on the Iron Throne
Please, don’t get me wrong, I have a lot of sympathy for Daenerys fans who were disappointed with her ending, but to be perfectly honest, I’ve never believed that Daenerys would actually sit on the Iron Throne.
If anything, I think ASOIAF/Game of Thrones is a criticism/deconstruction of the idea of right to rule by blood or conquest.
The Targaryens conquered Westeros hundreds of years ago, on the might of their dragons.  They ruled absolutely, by fire and blood.  Baratheon took the throne by right of conquest.  Cersei Lannister took it through marriage, and then violence in her own right.
None of these rulers were just.  None of these rulers were happy.   (Well, Aerys seemed somewhat happy while burning people alive.)  None of these rulers did well by their people.
This extended into general Westerosi politics, the court at Kings Landing, the War of the Kings, all full of people so obsessed with this giant game of musical chairs that none of them had any idea of the threat(s) on their horizon nor any real interest in protecting their people from it.
By the end, though, we have a real change.  While they did laugh at the idea of an all-out democracy (which was annoying, though I don’t think it would have been realistic for them to support it at this time), we still end up with rulers that have been explicitly chosen by at least SOME of the people that they rule.
It was never going to be Daenerys though.  The theme couldn’t work that way.  Even if somehow she could have gained enough popular support on a Watsonian level from the Westerosi people, she’s a Targaryen.  On a Doylist level, she would still be the rightful princess by blood who took her throne back by conquest.  There is no way that the Dany could sit on the throne without destroying that theme.  (And that rules Jon out too, for the same reason.  Even if he were chosen as Bran was, there’d be an undercurrent that he “deserved” it because of his ancestry.)
The tragedy of Daenerys is that if she had only stayed in Essos, she could have lived a long and happy life, as a beloved liberator.  In Essos, she was a just ruler.  She spent her wrath on slavers and killers.  She was chosen by the people that she ruled.  She did screw up in Meereen, but she could have learned from that.
But it wasn’t enough for her.  She wanted Westeros.  She felt she was entitled to Westeros.  And that was always going to go very badly.  When I think about Daenerys as a queen, she reminds me of Sansa’s statement that if she were queen, she would want to make people love her.  In a way, Daenerys is the embodiment of that idea.  She was raised on the idea that her family were rightful, beloved rulers and that the common people were begging for their return.  And well, that’s not Westeros.
To the people of Westeros, Dany represents the return of something only slightly less terrifying than the Night King.  They don’t want her.  They don’t love her.  They certainly would never choose her.  And Dany’s lived her entire life around a lie.  While I think her fall could have been done better, I can see why it happened.
I was hoping that Dany would figure out that she didn’t want the throne, and that she would go back to Essos and the people who love her.  But she didn’t.
Drogon burning the Iron Throne wasn’t subtle, but it was an indication that with her death, the rule of absolute autocrats who seize their throne by power is over.
3) R+L=J mattered, but not how we thought, and Jon’s ending was the happiest that it could have been
One critique I keep seeing is: why did it matter that Jon was a Targaryen?
And I think it mattered for a number of reasons:
First, of course, is that as mentioned above: it meant that Rhaegar really did bring about the absolute destruction of his entire dynasty.
Second, it reinforces the idea of nurture vs. nature.  For better or worse, Jon Snow will always be a Stark.  He might not be the wisest person in the room, but he always tries to do the right thing.  He owns his mistakes.  If he has to kill, he does it with his own hands, as cleanly as possible.  No matter who his parents actually were, he is and always will be Ned Stark’s son.
And third, as mentioned, it completely removes Jon from the running for the throne.  Because after Daenerys’s rampage, NO ONE will want to see another Targaryen in charge.  Even if Jon really isn’t one at heart.  I feel like Jon’s exile was less about the Westerosi seeing him as a traitor, or appeasing Grey Worm, and more about making sure that the last Targaryen will never be in a position to finish what his aunt started.
Really, getting exiled to the North is probably the happiest ending possible for Jon.  He’s never wanted to rule, and if he DID get the throne, he’d be positively miserable.  If he DIDN’T end up on the throne, he’d be a walking threat to whoever did get it.  IF he were allowed to live, he would be a perpetual tool to be used against the current regime.  They would never let him live in peace.
This is why Bran and Sansa didn’t and won’t pardon him, by the way.  It’s not because they don’t love their brother, but if they did, then he would just get pulled back into all this bullshit.  He’s the last Targaryen.  There’s no escape.
(Also, they can’t just pardon him because they’re not autocrats.  Tying into that theme again.)
4) All the Starks had good endings
I don’t really understand all of the fans tearing their hair out about Arya leaving to explore, or Sansa sitting “alone” on her throne.
When Ned Stark said that the lone wolf dies, but the pack survived, he wasn’t saying that all of the Starks had to stay under one roof.  Sansa and Arya were always intended for marriage.  Jon was probably always intended for the Wall.
The ending reinforced the idea that even if they are physically separate, Bran, Sansa, Arya and Jon will always be connected.
Arya has always had an adventuring spirit and way back in season 1 asserted that marrying a lord and being the mother of knights and princes was never going to be her fate.  So it makes perfect sense that she’d want to see what else is there, with her own eyes.  And really, she’s eighteen.  She has time to do what she wants and then come back home.
Sansa is the Queen of the North.  She’s chosen by her people.  And as we saw, they love her.  Sure, she’s not married yet.  But she’s going to have plenty of offers.  And she’s got PLENTY of time.  She’s twenty-one-ish, right?  Nothing about her ending rules out love later.
And the people who think it negates her development because she’s always wanted to be a queen are being silly.  As a young girl, Sansa wanted to be a “queen” because that’s what one did when one married a prince.  She wanted love.  She wanted acceptance.  She had no idea of the responsibilities or duties of ruling at the time.  But over time she learned to be a powerful person in her own right.  And she rules now, in her own name, by her own merit.  That’s important.
Bran’s ending feels the most off in the show, but as a book reader, it does make sense.  It IS a little funny that they chose a Stark, but the North still declared independence.  It makes sense though.  The North probably would have been willing to follow Bran Stark, but they’re tired of having their rulers chosen FOR them by the South.  And that’s understandable.  Right now it’s Bran, but who’ll be next?  (I’d like to think that Dorne and the Isles follow suit.  I don’t feel like Bran would want to hold any kingdom unwillingly.)
The execution should have been done better, but in terms of the Starks, I think they got good endings.
5) Not all redemption arcs happen
The ending I was most disappointed by was Jaime Lannister’s.  As a book reader, I always found Jaime’s chapters really compelling.  I remember being so amazed that Martin could start a character off with an act as heinous as pushing a child out the window, and somehow make me still like him.  I really wanted the Valonquar prophecy to come true (Jaime is after all, younger than Cersei).  I wanted Jaime to choose Brienne and Tyrion, and become a better person.  I figured he was probably doomed, but that he might get a heroic death.
He didn’t.
At the same time, while I’m disappointed by Jaime’s choice, I don’t necessarily think he got the wrong ending.  There are other redemption arcs in GOT (see: Theon), and maybe it’s time to see the handsome and tortured asshole with the deep down potential for good actually fail.
I don’t really think it’s out of character for Jaime to not care that much about the people of King’s Landing.  Yes, he once killed a king and sacrificed his honor to protect the people, but that was when he was nineteen years old, and he’d been punished for it ever since.
I’ve wondered sometimes if Jaime wouldn’t have been better off if Robert hadn’t pardoned him.  If Jaime had gotten sent to the Wall, like Jon, he might have had a chance to grow into someone separate from the machinations of his family.  He would have had an honorable cause.  He wouldn’t have gone through life every day, having his “crime” and his lack of honor thrown in his face to the point where he seemed to have decided “fuck it, I’ll be as terrible as you say I am”.
Certainly the man who pushed Bran out the window didn’t give a shit about innocent lives at that point.  The man who ambushed Ned on the streets of King’s Landing and cut down every one of his men didn’t care too much about fair play.  Now he was changing, undoubtedly.  But sometimes it’s not enough.  In the end, Jaime chose Cersei.  The prophecy fizzled.  And they both died, probably kinder than they really deserved.
Anyway, we’ll probably see a lot of thinkpieces and bits about how George R.R. Martin’s endings will be VERY DIFFERENT from the show.  And maybe they will.  But it wouldn’t surprise me if they aren’t.  Because I think the ending actually does fit, even if the journey got a little derailed.

What do you think Jon was referring to when he said "They'll come to see you for what you are"?, I do not think he meant that the lord will realize that she is great and the best queen, but that she is their last hope, and their only chance to survive, but of course he made her believe that it was the other. What I like most about political jon, is that most of the time he is not lying to dany, he just makes her believe things the wrong way! Do you think it is possible for northerners to accept
Dany?, I know she has dragons that they need, but I do think it would be ooc if they accept dany, especially because they already knew that she had dragons and an army but even so they do not care. It’s not like this is new information for them, and since they will found out that the wall fell because of one of her dragons, they will probably blame her for the invasion (and they would be right). They could also claim that if Daenerys is as good queen as Jon and others say, then she would helpthem even if they decide not to kneel, since the white walkers are not only going to attack the north but the whole continent, which Dany wants to rule.
Obviously, we know Dany and we know that she has a closed mind, she apparently does not think that way and she prioritizes her fight against Cersei, but to the northerners, she is being sold as a beloved queen and a savior, therefore they have no reason to doubt that even if they refuse to kneel, she will help them because it is the right thing.
Hello anon! Thank you for the ask!
What do you think Jon was referring to when he said “They’ll come to see you for what you are”?
I think he was mainly blowing smoke up her ass and telling her what she wanted to hear. It became obvious in previous episodes that she couldn’t be reasoned with and that her ambition has blinded her. It’s also become apparent that the only thing she responds positively to is flattery, no matter whether it’s sincere or not. He chooses his words very carefully, making them ambiguous on purpose. Thus, he’s purposely deceiving her by making her hear what she wants to hear. It’s a dangerous game he’s playing, but one he’s played before rather successfully with Mance and Stannis, so don’t see why he wouldn’t use the same technique of flattering, reluctantly giving military advice and lying by omission with Dany since she’s giving him such a hard time (unless “Dany is a Good PersonTM and Jon can’t trick her like that” counts as a reason).
Do you think it is possible for northerners to accept dany?
I think in an ideal world it would be possible for them to pretend to accept Dany. She’s the lesser of two evils at the moment, with total annihilation by ice zombies being the most pressing matter. If Sansa, Arya and Bran (and Sam) played their cards exactly right and convince the Northern Lords that the Starks still support Northern independence and that Jon was acting alone when he knelt, I believe they would have been able to stage a mummer’s farce for Dany’s benefit and keep it up until the White Walkers have been defeated.
That said, Westeros is not an ideal world and people who live there just refuse to see what would be to their benefit in the long-term, focusing on short term benefits or old grudges. So I think there will be conflict between the Northern Lords and Dany. The Northerners have bled and died for their independence in order for them to finally have a northern ruler. They have suffered and died under the rule of southern kings for way too long and Dany in s7 proved to be more of the same. The field of fire 2.0, the burning of the tarlys, the idiotic wight-hunt, losing a dragon to the Night King (which led to the destruction of the Wall) and refusing to help Jon save humanity unless he kneels to her are all plotpoints that have set up Dany and the Northerners as adversaries and I can’t see them bridging those differences, no matter how good a diplomat Jon or Sansa are.
Even if they somehow accept her as their queen though (my bet is through fear), RLJ is still a damoclean sword hanging over this fragile alliance and the moment it drops the alliance will be blown apart. That imo means that Dany will not help much with the AotD and on the contrary she will hinder the battling of the ice apocalypse by declaring war on the Starks, and Jon in particular. And I say that because I believe it would be more interesting and dramatic if everything completely went to shit and the Starks had to go above and beyond to deal with the enemies that have surrounded them.

Do you still think Jonsa wil happen?😂😂😂U really think he would ever love, boring, plain, weak Sansa? Who all she ever did was whine, & cry, & fuck her family & herself over, over & over again? Did u see how passionate Jon & Dany were in bed? Jon's passionate, his partner has to be passionate, Sansa could never be as sensual & passionate as Dany, not after being raped, she'd be utterly rigid and boring in bed, she would not give Jon any pleasure. Jonsa has no future, Jonerys is endgame.
“Sansa could never be as sensual & passionate as Dany, not after being raped, she’d be utterly rigid and boring in bed, she would not give Jon any pleasure”
Tumblr media
I always try to be nice, but, fuck you, FUCK YOU lady/dude whatever the hell you are 🖕🖕🖕
I just can’t believe you actually wrote that, and sent it in. This is one of the most fuc*ed up sh*t I’ve ever read. Some of you J*nerys fans are disgusting wtf. I’m beyond speechless.
Being raped does wound you, hurt you, in so many ways, but women are strong, they heal with time. I do suppose it will always be difficult for Sansa to trust men, considering what Ramsay did to her, she’ll always be weary of them, and I suppose she’s never going to allow just any man in her bed, again, but if she fully and truly trusted the man, if he respected her, treated her with kindness, gentleness, if he gave her time, made her feel appreciated and loved, wich would further help her heal, and restore some of her faith in men, which Jon literally has done, she would eventually find it in herself to share her bed with that someone.
She fully trusts Jon already, the physical contact that she initiated multiple times with him, is proof of that, she loves him, he makes her feel safe, and loved, and cared for, she can talk freely with him, because she knows he’d never punish her, nor hurt her in any way. They have a parter like relashionship already, and the amount of trust and love she already has for Jon, is a strong, cemented foundation, that will be key in season 8, when Jonsa will happen.
Plus, Sansa is already fierce and passionate as it is, she does things with passion and fierceness. You don’t know what kind of a lover she would be, what kind of a lover she WILL be, when she finds it in herself, when she allows herself, to fully and truly love someone, and let go of herself with him.
She never had a proper lover, someone to respect her, love her, and treat her with kindness and honor. The only man who shared her bad, was a psychopath that enjoyed beating her, raping her and playing sick, twisted games with her body, every night. You belittling her, belittling her sensuality, degrading her like this, because she was raped, trying to measure who would be more passionate/sensual between her and D@ny, is fucked up, I’d be seriously concerned if I were you, anon.
And btw, D@ny was raped too, remember? And she healed, as you say, she is sensual and passionate. Being raped does not equal, you will never make love with anyone, ever again, in your entire life, you will not get back control over your body ever again, you will never be able to allow/trust anyone to ever love you again, you will never again allow yourself to enjoy making love, that you’ll never feel pleasure ever again, that you’ll never allow to let anyone cherish you, cherish your body, love you as a whole ever again. There is nothing wrong though, in a woman deciding to never let a man touch her again, everyone’s different, some heal quickly, some slowly, and, unfortunately, some never heal.
If she were to allow anyone in her bed, if she were to wed again, Jon will be the one. I am among the people who believe that, she herself will propose the match. She’ll secure her place at Winterfell, she’d never have to leave Winterfell, her home, ever again, she’d have a man by her side, that she 1000% knows will NEVER harm her in any way, she’d have children, which both Sansa and Jon always dreamed of having. As Sophie said in an interview, Winterfell is Sansa’s haven, and if Jon is the key to her staying there, if he’s they Key to bringing stability to the North, she’ll marry him.
People heal, and Sansa, with Jon’s help has done a lot of healing, she is stronger, and more confident, and with him, we’ve seen her come into herself, we’ve seen her happy, genuinely happy, he gave her his love, he gave her strengtht and confidence, and she returned that love, and gave him purpose and acceptance in return.
Now, onto your -so not- epic boatsex, it was so quick, rushed and had no buildup whatsoever, just passion, as you called it, but passion, lust, do not equal love, especially considering poor Jon hasn’t fuc*ed anyone, in years. He iofc he’s gonna bang her, while he’s at it. I expected for their boatbang scene to bother me, but I was surprised by the fact that it didn’t, at all. It was so, so rushed, Missandei and Greyworm has a better love scene than theirs, it was built up slowly and it lasted more than 20 seconds lol
“Love didn’t just happen to us, we built it slowly over the years, stone by stone…It’s not as exciting as secret passion in the woods, but it is stronger, it lasts longer.” – Catelyn Stark 2x10
“And Catelyn just gazes at him with love built on a rock-solid foundation. Years and years of brick by brick and stone by stone. She cares for Ned, loves him in a profound and nuanced way that’s a far cry from the romantic passion she had as a girl for Brandon.” Catelyn Stark AGOT
These two quotes, fit perfectly Jon and Sansa. Which goes back to show you, passion/lust/desire does not equal love, true love.
I’m not sure what Jon is brewing, but it involves the Northerners turning against him, and making Sansa Queen In The North, why, I’m not sure, but he wouldn’t be so stupid as to declare he’s bent the knee for all to hear, he wouldn’t send a raven to Sansa telling her about it, he’d wait until the great war was won. He’s cooking something, there is a reason why he wants Sansa Queen. One thing is for sure, seducing D@ny is part of his plan, which is going very smoothly, she’s fallen for him, deeply.
What I think he perhaps has in mind is, sacrificing his position as King, since he doesn’t care much about being King, he never wanted it, his plan is to seduce D@ny, make her fall madly in love with him, so that he has power and influence over her, so that when they get back to Winterfell together, he can use that power and influence to convince to not burn the Northerners alive, to not kill them, to not burn Sansa alive, cause listen, Sansa, she would never bend the knee to a southerner, not after all she’s been through, he will use her love for him, and ask her to allow the North to stay independent, to let Sansa be Queen in the North.
Part of me even thinks that, in his mind he is also taking into consideration the possibily of having to sacrifice his happiness, by striking a deal for the North’s independence, “I’ll marry you, I’ll come south with you, if, you allow my people to have their own ruler, their own Queen”, of course, once word get’s out he’s a Targaryen, it will change everything, it will change his plans, it will change his relationship with D@ny. Those who think it won’t change a thing between them, are fools. We’re talking about D@ny here, a woman who didn’t give two craps about an army of deadmen coming to kill them all, being all too consumed and obsessed with power and the Iron Throne, that only changed her mind when the Night King killed one of her dragons. When she finds out, the IT is not RIGHTFULLY hers, she’s not the rightful heir, she’s gonna FLIP. Again, if you think she won’t, you’re a fool, and you don’t understand her character.
Going back to Sansa, she is not plain, boring nor weak. She is one of the strongest women in this show, her wits, her personality, her intelligence, her inner strength are the things that kept her alive, though all the horror and madness, that has been her life, since Ned was executed.
I think I would’ve gone mad in her place to be very honest with you, there’s only so much I could take, I always say I’d be dead in a minute, if I lived in Westeros. She’s been through so much, and yet, she didn’t let all these horrors, make her power hungry, or entitled, or evil/mad, nor did she let them harden her, all they’ve done was wake her to reality, show her what the world is really like, and make her stronger, sharper, but she’s remained gentle, caring and kind at heart. She’s grown into a strong, intelligent and beautiful woman, who is anything but boring, plain or weak.
If you can’t see, if you refuse to see how they’re building up Jon and Sansa for romance, for love, that’s your problem, and I don’t quite care, but to go and say, Sansa is not good enough for Jon, because she was raped, that’s literally what you said “she would not give Jon any pleasure”, you talk as if us women are some pleasure tools/machines ffs it’s disgusting, it makes me sick, to think someone would think in such a way. Women who are raped deserve, and are worthy of love, just like every other woman, even more so, being loved, cherished, respected, being understood, is part of the healing process. Ugh, I feel like I’m waisting my breath with you.
Be gone and never return in my askbox ever again, please and thank you.

Fanfic: The Conqueror and the Red Wolf
Across the shores of Westeros, there lies many great families. Sansa Stark was born into one of them, House Stark. Through many trials, she managed to at last overthrow the butchers who murdered her family and retake their birthright, Winterfell. She had even executed their leader, the brutal Ramsay Bolton, mere hours ago. A deserved fate.
However according to Jon, there lie far worse threats still to come. The Night King. An Army of the Dead. It gave her a chill down her spine. Not to mention the snake himself, Littlefinger. She was shaken from her thoughts when the men from the Vale and North begin debating their next move. Lord Royce, a veteran warrior began speaking.
“You can’t expect Knights of the Vale to side with wildling invaders.” He vehemently said. It was true that their forces required 2000 wildlings to help them but they weren’t invading. Sansa however kept quiet about this.
“We didn’t invade”, Tormund replied. “We were invited.”
“Not by me.” Royce huffed.
Jon stood up. He was getting used to this whole leader thing, Sansa noticed.
“The free folk, the northerners, and the Knights of the Vale fought bravely, fought together, and we won. My father uses to say we find our true friends on the battlefield.” Sansa stiffened, but was heartwarmed at the mention of her departed father. Father, I swear to you, I will protect our home.
Lord Corbray was next to speak.
“The Boltons are defeated. The war is over. Winter has come. If the maesters are right, it’ll be the coldest one in a thousand years. We should ride home and wait out the coming storms.”
Jon disagreed, sternly. “The war is not over. And I promise you, friend, the true enemy won’t wait out the storm. He brings the storm.”
Suddenly the crowd murmured and whispered. Could it be true? What was Jon talking about? Dead men? Sansa initially didn’t even believe it herself if not for the stories the Watch and Wildlings told her at the Wall.
Corbray sneered “Nonsense. Snarks and grumpkins, huh?”
Lyanna however was furious. She looked at the other lords with utter disdain.
“Your son was butchered at the Red Wedding, Lord Manderly. But you refused the call. You swore allegiance to House Stark, Lord Glover, but in their hour of greatest need, you refused the call. And you, Lord Cerwyn, your father was skinned alive by Ramsay Bolton. Still you refuse the call. But House Mormont remembers. The North remembers. We know no king but the King in the North whose name is Stark. I don’t care if he’s a bastard. Ned Stark’s blood runs through his veins. He’s my king from this day until his last day.”
Sansa smiled. Yes, Jon should be the King. He deserves it. Jon is Jon.
Lyanna’s harsh words seemed to be enough to make the lords feel great shame and guilt. Sansa would have been harsher but she stayed quiet for the time being. I have half a mind to hang them all for abandoning us. Wow, Who am I, Daenerys Targaryen? In an unexpected move, Jon stood up again.
“You’re wrong, Lady Lyanna. You speak harshly but there is nothing to forgive from any of you. And I cannot be King. My lords, you went south for my half-brother Robb and named him King in the North, like Torrhen before him and declared the independence of our home from the Crown. The laws are clear and if Tommen cannot be king of Westeros after Robert Baratheon, then I cannot be King after Robb, instead of Sansa!”
Sansa gasped, realizing what her brother was saying.
“Sansa’s blood is trueborn, the daughter of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. The North should rally to their own.” He smiled sadly down at her, then began to kneel. He drew Longclaw and laid it at her feet. “Am I your sworn sword and brother, Sansa, from this day to my last?”
Sansa still numb, gave the barest of nods.
Jon continued “Then I pledge my allegiance, my Queen.”
Lyanna frowned and stared at Jon angrily. Manderly stepped forward and smiled proudly.
“You speak truly, Jon Snow. I beg your forgiveness, Lady Sansa. We loved your father. We died for him by the thousands in Robert’s Rebellion and the Greyjoy Rebellion. When your brother lost at the Red Wedding, I didn’t want more Manderlys dying for nothing. Sansa Stark avenged the Red Wedding. She brought the Knights of the Vale to our aid, and is the rightful heir to Robb. She is the Red Wolf. The Queen in the North!”
Lord Glover’s face was marked with shame. “There will be more fights to come. Not fighting in this one was my greatest shame. Never again. House Glover will stand behind House Stark as we have for a thousand years. Queen in the North!”
Yohn Royce and Lord Corbray stood forward and drew their blades. Royce boomed “We rode north for you, Lady Sansa. We fought the Boltons for you. We declare you Queen in the Mountains and Vale!”
“Queen in the Mountains and Vale!” Corbray shouted.
“Queen of the Trident! Queen of the Trident!” Came another voice.
Lord Mallister was next. “Your uncle died fighting for us. He refused to come to help you. I will not. You are of Tully blood and you will lead us through this. Queen of the Trident!”
The shouting grew louder. Jon goofily smiled at his sister, who was still gaping in shock. Finally, she found her voice.
“I-I accept. I accept this tremendous responsibility. I understand your misgivings about the Iron Throne and I agree that we should break free, just as Robb wanted. Jon, you had faith in me even when no one else did. My debt to you shall never truly be repaid. I don’t know if I will do a very good job of being Queen but with you all here to advise me and protect me, I pledge that we will get through this. Our enemies will tremble. The Dead will wish they had never crossed us.  Winter is coming for them, not us.”
A deafening roar erupted from the Hall, as all the Lords of the North, Vale and Trident thundered in support for the Queen. When they died down, Jon said “My Queen., there is much to be done. What are your orders?”
Sansa looked at him and steeled herself, knowing she would always have his support.
“As my first act as Queen, I legitimize my brother as Prince Jon Stark. I also name him Supreme Commander of our armies and my rightful heir.” Jon’s eyes began to tear up. Sansa knew this was something he had wished to have for his whole life. I treated him so badly. I’m so sorry, Jon. You are a Stark and always was, I promise you.
She turned to the others.
“Lord Royce, no one can doubt your honor. I name you Hand of the Queen. Brienne of Tarth, your prowess in personal combat is unmatched. You defeated the Hound. I name you Lady Commander of my Queensguard.”
Brienne smiled at her and bowed in deference. “My Queen, I accept your honorable and just offer. I did not believe I would find a Royal worth fighting for after the death of King Renly. I swear I will always protect you, Your Grace”.
“Your Grace, I am inclined to agree with Lady Brienne. Thank you for this honor. You are truly wise”. Sansa smiled brightly at the both of them. This isn’t so bad.
Many days passed, and Sansa worked hard to convince each lord and that to marshal their banners and resources to the cause of war against the dead. According to Jon, they could only be killed by fire, dragonglass or Valyrian Steel. Valyrian Steel was a clearly hopeless cause. Still, events in the South also greatly concerned her. A mere day ago, she heard that the entire Frey Male line had been exterminated. Oddly she felt dread and fear, no matter how much those damned Freys deserved such a fate. Who could have done that, and why? The Northerners were busy and we had more cause than anyone to destroy the Twins. She only hoped that the female line would accept her as Queen and not cause any more trouble. She requested that all remaining Riverlords travel north and requested that they either agree with Lord Mallister or reject her and stay with the Throne. Jon and Brienne assured her that the Rivermen were done with Tommen. However, a threat she was overlooking was about to rear its ugly head.
“We can't defend the North if only half the population is fighting.” Jon said.
Sansa replied “Madness, We cannot expect children to fight”.
“I don’t mean children, Your Grace.”
Your Grace…Gods, that will take some getting used to, thought Sansa.
“I’m not trained, Jon. I haven’t even killed anyone.”
“You are needed to lead. You named me Supreme Commander of the army, however and our army is not enough! We need all women to take up arms.”
Alys Karstark spoke up. “We will, Your Grace. We love our Queen and we shall fight for you.”
Lord Glover replied “You damn Karstarks betrayed the north to fight for that fucking Bolton.”
Sansa agreed but she needed to get this under control and fast.
“Hold on, my Lord. Alys did not do anything. Karhold didn’t do anything. However, we should give Alys a new home and place our forward strongholds in Last Hearth and Karhold, which will pass to families who supported us against Ramsay. They are our strongest keeps that are close to the Wall. If the Wall falls…. we must be ready. I will dispossess the traitorous houses of their homes and give them something smaller, in the South.”
Jon looked at her angrily but did not try to debate her about her decision. Instead he reminded her of something else.
“The Wall is weak. We need it fully manned and resupplied. That will be our first line of defence.”
Sansa nodded. “I agree, Prince Jon. We should send anyone we can spare.”
“Last time we saw the Night King was at Hardhome. The closest castle to Hardhome is Eastwatch-by-the-Sea.”
Tormund agreed to go. He took both his remaining wildlings and any thieves and killers still rotting in prison. Some murmured in disagreement.
Sansa said “Yesterday’s wars show us who our true brothers are. Any hate crimes against the wildlings will not be tolerated. I am ready to lead the North, Trident and Mountains and Vale to victory. Repair the walls, create siege engines for fire, and gather together every Valyrian Sword we have. Eastwatch will be the site of our final stand.”
Again the lords cheered for their Queen.
“Queen in the North! Queen in the Mountains and Vale!”
“Queen in the North!”
When the lords finally left the hall, Jon grabbed her sleeve.
“You will strip these families of their ancestral homes because of the crimes of a few reckless sons?”
Sansa looked at him curiously. Was he actually going to side against her now after declaring her Queen?
“So, there's no punishment for treason and no reward for loyalty? I will not have that while I am Queen.” Sansa demanded.
“The punishment for treason is death. I know that, Your Grace. However, Smalljon Umber died on the field of battle. Harald Karstark died on the field of battle. It’s over.” “They died fighting for Ramsay.” She calmly retorted.
“When I was Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, I executed men who betrayed me. I executed men who refused to follow orders. Father always said, "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword," and I have tried to live by those words. But I will not support punishing a son for his father's sins, and I will not help take a family home away from a family it has belonged to for centuries.”
“I’m sorry Jon but you’re wrong. I’m not leaving Alys Karstark and Ned Umber to suffer in the cold. I’m just going to give them something a bit smaller. Only a few days ago, I received pledges of their loyalty to name me Queen. I am trying to honor that. Father did say that but Father died, making stupid decisions. We must be smarter. Don’t undermine me. You said yourself we need to stop pettily fighting and work as one”
Jon finally quieted down, just as Maester Wolkan approached. “A raven from King's Landing, Your Grace” He timidly said. Sansa read aloud the message “Come to King's Landing. Bend the knee or suffer the fate of all traitors. Cersei. She murdered Queen Margaery and stole her throne! We’ve been so consumed with the enemy to the north, you've all forgotten about the one to the south!”
“Are you honestly considering that? We can’t march our entire army all the way south. That’s madness. The Night King can’t be stopped by just Tormund and Edd.”
Sansa breathed. “You’re right. But we need to guard our southern borders. The female Freys betrayed her for us. A reckoning will come, if it hasn’t already. Lord Jaime leads her armies and he is a legendary warrior. We still have a wall between us and the Night King. There’s nothing between us and Cersei.”
“There's a thousand miles between us and Cersei. Winter is here. They've never ranged this far north.”
She scoffed. “She murdered my friends, the Tyrells. She murdered Robert Baratheon, Father’s best friend. You’re the general of my armies but I know her well. Everyone she wants to murder, she has found a way to murder. I’m not talking about the Wall or Winterfell. The Riverlands is not that far north and they all declared for me. They are my mother’s people. I have to protect them! If we don’t, then what is the point in winning?”
Jon’s shoulders sagged and looked away with shame. He curtly nodded. “You’re right. Apologies, Your Grace.”
Maester Wolkan was still there.
“Yes?” Sansa hotly demanded.
“There is another…letter, Your Grace.”
“Who is it from?”
“Samwell Tarly in the Citadel.”
Jon looked up with surprise.
“I know him. I trust him with my life. We shall read what he needs from us……he says there’s dragonglass in Dragonstone, where Daenerys Targaryen landed days ago. We need that dragonglass.”
“Can we get it without drawing her attention?’
“……No.”
“I am not risking incurring the wrath of that mad bitch, Jon.”
“As you wish, Your Grace. But with Cersei in the riverlands, we cannot afford war on two fronts.”
“I know. Especially against dragons.”
Sure enough, a letter came less than a day later from Daenerys, demanding that Sansa bend the knee for “stealing half her kingdom”. Tyrion had apparently become her Hand. She remembered fondly that Tyrion had been kind to her for a while.
“Do you think it’s Tyrion? She asked.
“You know him better than any of us. What do you think?” Jon replied.
“Tyrion is not like the other Lannisters. He was always kind to me, but it's too great a risk.”
Davos Seaworth grabbed the letter and chuckled. “Sounds like a charmer. Of course, the casual mention of a Dothraki horde, a legion of Unsullied and three dragons, a bit less charming.”
Jon turned to him. “We’re facing undead magical beings who want to kill us.”
Sansa said “Dragons can kill us too. They’ve burned whole cities down before. Daenerys is Aegon the Conqueror reborn.”
Davos however was deep in thought. “But you told me once that fire will kill wights, didn’t you, my Prince?”
Sansa stared at him. “Are you trying to send me to my death, Lord Davos?”
“No, no. I wouldn’t meet with her.  But if the Army of the Dead makes it past the Wall, do we have enough men to fight them? Our armies are depleted heavily from the wars with King Joffrey and the Boltons.”
Sansa shook his head. “It doesn’t matter. We’re still going to war. The Riverlords betrayed Cersei for me. She won’t let that go.”
Davos shook his head. “King Robb tried that. Look what happened to him”
Brienne snarled “How dare you!”
Sansa held her hand out. “Lady Commander, it’s ok. King Robb made stupid mistakes that got him killed. He cut off Karstark’s head. He incurred Walder Frey’s revenge and walked right into his trap. He couldn’t control Uncle Edmure. But I will not leave my mother’s people to be slaughtered. I made my decision.”
“And if Daenerys disagrees and attacks us?” Davos said.
“I’ll destroy her too.” Sansa said darkly.
Davos said “We don’t have the men to fight wars on two fronts. You said we’re going to war against Cersei. So is this silver Dragon Queen. We need alliances. Call it convenience, call it enemy of my enemy.”
Sansa huffed. “I don’t trust her…. I heard some concerning stories.”
“But we must send a diplomat to treat with her. Work out a deal. We need those weapons, or we don’t stand a chance!” Jon shouted at her.
She looked at him like he grew three heads.
“Have you hit your head and forgotten what her family has done to ours? Her damnable father burned Grandfather and Uncle Brandon alive! She cannot be trusted. She is here as a conqueror; do you really think that doesn’t include the North? She has been slaughtering her way across Essos and now she’s here to take the Seven Kingdoms.”
Jon sighs sympathetically.
“Daenerys has the men. She has the dragonglass. We need to at least try to make a pact with her. Maybe she is more reasonable than her father.”
Sansa snarled “She is an enemy. She’ll burn us alive at the slightest provocation.”
“I know that!” Jon screamed desperately.
Sansa stared at him. She had already realized who Jon planned to send south.
“Jon…”
He smiled at her proudly.
“You know about politics. You navigated Littlefinger, Cersei and Roose Bolton. Even that little Lyanna Mormont. Daenerys is a Queen, she will only listen to another Queen. You’re the only one who can convince her.”
Sansa breaths deeply, in shock but also awed by her brother’s trust and faith in her abilities.
“I-I can’t! She’ll throw me in prison or worse, use me as a hostage to take our kingdom”.
Jon held her and hugged her tightly, allowing Sansa to feel his warmth.
“Sister, we’re all dead anyway if you fail.”
Sansa looks away from her brother and out to the forests beyond.
The next day, she made her decision. Sansa called a council of her loyal lords, to discuss both her planned invasion and Daenery’s demands.  She hoped they would be able to defeat Cersei quickly enough, but the Dragon Queen had thrown a massive wrench into the fire. Hours later, she made her decision and called a Council in the Winterfell Hall.
“My lords, we’ve been betrayed. There is a murderer and traitor in our midst.”
Jon stared at her. “What are you doing? Is this what you want?”
Sansa didn’t move. “It’s not what I want. I have a responsibility. To protect and defend my family from those who would harm it. You stand accused of murder. You stand accused of forced marriage and conspiracy to regicide. How do you answer these charges…..Lord Baelish?”
Baelish stared at her. “I’m…confused. Forgive me. If we could just speak in private, my Queen-”.
“It’s not complicated. You murdered my Aunt Lysa. Do you deny it?”
“I deny it!” He screamed desperately. “None of you were there!”
Sansa continued. “You conspired against my family by bringing the Reach army to Joffrey’s aid, so they granted you Harrenhall. You murdered Dontos Hollard when he outlived his usefulness. You murdered King Joffrey and framed Tyrion Lannister and I for it. Do you deny it?”
He was trapped. Sansa had won. He tried to run out of the Hall. One of the Umbers stopped him and threw him to the ground. “I am Lord Protector of the Vale, you oaf-“
“You’re nothing, Baelish. Sansa is Queen of the Mountains and Vale”, said surprisingly, Robin Arryn.
“You pretended to rescue me from monsters, when you were the one framing me. You sold me to monsters, while you feigned care and concern. You are a murderer and you betrayed me for your own twisted schemes. It’s time justice was done” Sansa brutally snarled. “Thank you for your lessons, my Lord. I will never forget them.”
“Sansa please….”
It was over. Brienne had pierced Baelish’s heart with Oathkeeper. Blood splattered onto the floor. He died instantly, a pathetic mess. Sansa almost began to sob but marshalled herself in time. In his own twisted way, he loved me.
“Someone bury that. Now that that’s over……This message was sent to me by Samwell Tarly, a Man of the Night’s Watch”, She announced to the Great Hall Council. “He's discovered proof that Dragonstone sits on a mountain of Dragonglass. According to Prince Jon, we can use that to kill the dead.”
She opened the second letter.
“I received this a few days ago from Dragonstone. It was sent to me by Tyrion Lannister. He's now Hand of the Queen to Daenerys Targaryen. She intends to take the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister. She has a powerful army at her back and if this message is to be believed, three dragons.
“Many of you might say that is a good thing. Cersei Lannister has stolen the Iron throne and murdered the Tyrells with wildfire. The Mad King liked his wildfire and Cersei is his true successor. My sincere apologies, everyone but I’m ordering our entire forces to march south to destroy her. The Riverlands is not protected enough and her wrath on those lands will come soon enough. Our southern bannermen will never be safe as long as the Mad Queen exists.”
Jon nodded sadly. Jon, I wish you understood, but they’re in immediate danger.
“There’s more. Daenerys Targaryen asked me to Dragonstone to bend the knee. I will not accept; however, I will attempt to negotiate an alliance with her. We’re outnumbered, my Lords! We can’t fight both her and Cersei at the same time.”
Yohn Royce countered “Your Grace, with respect, I remember the Mad King all too well. A Targaryen cannot be trusted, nor can a Lannister.”
“The Queen in the North should stay in the North”, Lyanna demanded.
“She’s Queen in the Trident, too, girl!” Mallister countered.  Lyanna scowled.
Sansa grew angry. “You all crowned me your Queen. I never wanted it, I never asked for it, but I accepted it because the north is my home. It's part of me. My blood is Tully as well. I cannot abandon the Rivermen. However, according to my top generals, I cannot defeat either Cersei or the dead by myself, and the Silver Queen will not listen to any mere envoy of the Starks. I must go, for our future and for all of mankind. While I am gone, my brother Prince Jon Stark will be in command. You will treat his orders as if they came from me.”
She stood and declared “Cersei’s time is up. If we die, we die together. Call the banners. Marshal every man and woman we have. We’re going to war.”
The murmurs from earlier now turned to loud shouts of agreement. Finally, we would have our revenge on the Lannisters.
Sansa’s boat crashed onto the shore. Rising above was a tower of ancient power and magic. Dragonstone, built by Targaryens, if Sansa’s memory recalled. She brought with her, Advisor Davos, Lady Commander Brienne, and Lord Hand Yohn Royce. Tyrion Lannister was the first to greet her.
“Wife!” Tyrion shouted cheerfully. “I’ve heard many tales of you since arriving back here.”
Sansa bowed and nodded curtly to him
“My lord Lannister. I do not believe we are bound by such things anymore” She quipped.
“Lady…I mean Queen Stark, please”, he stammered. “Forgive me. After murdering my own father, I don’t think I’m a lord of anything, anymore.”
“But I have heard whispers you are Hand of this Dragon Queen.”
“That I am.  I rose high.” He chuckled. “You rose higher than anyone could have imagined, I like to think. Just as I always believed you would.”
Sansa blushed. “You are too kind, Hand.”
Tyrion smiled at her. He had always been kind. What was he doing with this crucifying dragon bitch?
“Please excuse my manners. This is Missandei, most trusted advisor of Queen Daenerys Targaryen.”
“ Welcome to Dragonstone, Queen Sansa. I hope the seas were kind.”
Sansa eyed her warily
“As good as can be expected.”
“It's been a long road. But we're both still here”. Tyrion declared. Sansa could only look at him warily. He turned to Davos.
“I'm Tyrion Lannister.” He said, shaking Davos’ hand. “Davos Seaworth” “Ah, the Onion Knight. We fought on opposite sides at the Battle of Blackwater Bay. A Seaworth under a Stark Queen? Unusual.”
“As I recall, you killed my son in that battle”.
“Ah yes well….Missandei is the queen's most trusted advisor.”
“Shall we enter the castle and find you your quarters?” Missandei politely asked in an Essosi accent.
“Very well.” Sansa stiffly replied.
They walked up the path. Tyrion turned to her.
“At some point I want to hear how a fugitive for the murder of Joffrey became Queen of half of Westeros.”
“As long as you tell me how a Lannister who killed his father became Hand to Daenerys Targaryen.” “A long and bloody tale. To be honest, I was drunk for most of it-“
Suddenly a Dragon screeched overheard. Sansa ducks, shocked. Such creatures used to be mere legend. But now she saw their true mighty scales, and muscles. Magnificent.
Tyrion again laughed. “You get used to it.”
“They are huge!” Sansa screeched.
“Don’t worry, they won’t eat us. Unless their mother commands it.” He added darkly. Sansa eyed him.
“You’re not inspiring confidence.”
Tyrion laughed. “I think you will find Queen Daenerys is not the monster you heard about in stories.”
Hah. Fat chance of that. The door creaked open. There she was. Oh, gods, she’s hot. Sitting calmly upon the stone chair of Dragonstone. Sansa was immediately struck by her beauty, instantly reminded of Margaery Tyrell. Flowing silver hair, piercing yet soft eyes, feminine figure. She didn’t at all seem like a conquering monster, it was true. She even was offering a soft smile as Sansa approached. Missandei then began the negotiations.
“You stand in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains.”
Brienne calmly and firmly responded.
“You stand in the presence of Queen Sansa Stark of the North, Trident and Vale,” she declared in her deep voice, “rightful heir to Winterfell, The Red Wolf, Hero of the Battle of the Bastards, slayer of the traitor Ramsay Bolton and eldest trueborn child to Eddard Stark.”
Sansa blushed at all the names. Brienne knows how to lay it on. Daenerys also blushed, Sansa noticed. Or was it just the cold?
“Welcome my Lady. I hope your journey was safe.” Even her voice is beautiful.
“It was.” Sansa replied in a small voice. “For once the stories are true, Your Grace. You truly are beautiful.” The Dragon Queen raised her eyebrows at this. Wow, are you an idiot? Stop flirting.
Brienne sternly spoke up in outrage. “Forgive my Tarth accent but Sansa Stark is a Queen. Not a Lady.”
Daenerys tightened her jaw. Sansa’s face twisted into worry. This might have been a terrible idea.
“Forgive me, but if my history is correct, my ancestor Aegon the Conqueror ruled over the Trident, North and Vale when he landed here. The last Kings in the North and Vale were Torrhen Stark and Ronnel Arryn, who bent the knee to the dragonlords in perpetuity. What does perpetuity mean, my Lord Hand?”
“Forever”, Tyrion sternly replied.
‘So how have you rebelled and declared yourself Queen of those regions? As the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, you stole half of Westeros from me.”
Sansa smirked, having the perfect response
“I stole nothing. My bannermen and I rebelled against Queen Cersei and her predecessor, King Tommen. Before that, I was a staunch loyalist of the rightful King of the North and Trident, Robb Stark, the Young Wolf.”
“I see…”
“Under King Robb, the North and Riverlands declared independence from the Iron throne, in perpetuity, House Targaryen included. Crowned by his bannermen, he won every battle but was betrayed and murdered by Freys and Boltons at the Red Wedding, along with my mother and most of his army. With his death and my defeat of House Bolton, I was chosen as Queen by the survivors. My bannermen will never again accept subjugation from the Iron Throne, who would have us all on our knees.”
“Queen in the North….” Brienne whispered behind her. Sansa almost smiled. Daenerys looked at her with steely fiery eyes.
“You will not bend the knee to House Targaryen, the rightful heirs?  After centuries of peace?”
Her anger was rising. Sansa knew she had to get this under control or there could be blood.
“I am truly sorry but I cannot” she said. “Your father burned my family alive for fun. And the family that took your father’s place murdered my father, mother and brother. If your claim to the North and Trident is based upon his, I am afraid I cannot let you take it back. Instead I request humbly you allow us to remain independent.”
There was a long pause as Sansa knelt down with her head bowed, hoping Daenerys would be reasonable. Finally, the silverhead spoke.
“You surprise me…...I grant you independence” What? We’re free?
“Your G- “Tyrion began.
“My decision is final.” Daenerys sternly said. “I pledged to allow the Greyjoys independence because they asked for it. Queen Sansa here has as well. She also showed far more humility than you ever have. Rest assured, I am going to get justice for your family, Queen Sansa, and I formally apologise for your losses at the hands of my evil father. I too have lost people I… cared deeply for. I humbly ask that you aid me in my battle to retake my throne from Cersei. Bring peace to our country. As long as Cersei rules, it will bleed.”
Sansa nodded.
“Aye, I am already marching south to fight her. With our combined armies, it will be over in a week. But once she is dealt with, I need your word that you will immediately march north.”
Daenerys looked confused.
“Why, what’s up there?”
“We face a threat far more powerful and evil, and we need an alliance with you to fight it. The dead.” This is it, thought Sansa. Now they all stared at her like she had three heads.
“The …. dead?” Tyrion started incredulously.
Sansa breathed, knowing it must sound like nonsense.
“Disaster has come to Westeros. The White Walkers have awoken from their sleep, and mean to come for us all just as in centuries long past.  Dead things stalk us in the woods. We have been squabbling amongst ourselves for far too long. They’ll kill us first. And then come for you. There will be no escape, I promise. It’s time we put aside our differences and unite to reclaim the Dawn.”
Tyrion was not convinced. “White walkers? Surely you don’t believe in... -”
“Are you calling me mad? Or worse, a liar?” Sansa coolly demanded.
“… Of course not. I don’t think you’re either of those things.”
She continued.
“The stories we heard as children were accounts of ancient history. The threat is real. The dead are real. They already have defeated the Wildlings, and then the Night’s Watch too at Hardhome.  The biggest army in the entire world. If they come hunting south and we aren’t ready….”
“You actually saw this army?” Daenerys asked.
“No…. but I trust with my life, those who have.” Sansa admitted.
“I see.” This isn’t going well.
“Look I’m not lying! If we don’t work together when the time comes, we’re all going to die! I cannot defeat the dead alone!”
“Your Grace, I need you to please calm down.” Said Brienne, her Lady Commander.
“Cersei is a monster, no one knows this better than me. But we can deal with her and then we fight off the White Walkers. I need you. I need your dragonfire. And you need me.”
“You saw my Dragons, correct?”
“Yes…”
“I have three. The Dothraki ride with me. All the chivalry of the south rides with me. Yet fairy tales are going to kill us all?” Daenerys scoffed.
“You don’t believe me. I understand that. It sounds nonsensical. The Night King doesn’t care about thrones or birthrights. He doesn’t care about dragons or Dothraki. We’re all the same to them. Walking meat. Soon it won’t matter who’s skeleton sits on that ugly throne. Winter is here. The Long Night is here, and the dead are coming soon. The Night’s Watch can’t stop them. No noble house alone can stop them. All the southern armies can’t stop them! Only together, all of us. Even then we might still lose but at least we’ll give the bloody things a fight!” Sansa breathed. Calm down, calm down.
Tyrion said “You honestly can’t expect us to march all the way to the Wall for stories of madness.”
Sansa exploded. “Madness? I don’t want this! I have gone through hell. I was raped and defiled used and betrayed.  I didn’t want to be Queen of half of Westeros. So far, it’s been nothing but a miserable pain in my arse. But I love my family. IF this is how I protect them, if this is how I honor Robb, then I will continue to be Queen of the North, Vale and Trident to the best of my ability. I cannot protect my family alone. Help me. Don’t let Cersei and the dead destroy your families and you.”
Tyrion shifted. “I see your point. What proof do we have that you will allow Queen Daenerys to keep the Iron Throne? If we march north, your Rivermen might just take the south.”
Sansa turned to Dany- Woah, Dany? Nicknames, already, you red haired idiot?
“You’re still here. Which means you haven’t used those dragons and stormed the Red Keep, which is what Cersei would do. I see what you have done here. You have brought to my shores freed slaves, horsemen, exiled and disgraced Westerosi. - No offence, Lord Tyrion - because they believe in you. I am willing to believe in you too…. Please. please help me.” She begged, tears threatening to escape her eyes.
Daenerys stared at her sympathetically. Or was it pity?
“Sansa…” She whispered. First name basis already?
“Your wisdom and humility are admirable, as is your determination to save your people. I have suffered… similarly.” Sansa stared in shock. She never knew any of this. “I was sold like a brood mare, chained up like an animal.  But since there is no proof of your story, I simply cannot send my armies all the way North where they might be destroyed by the winter, because of superstitions.”
Sansa sighed. For bloody Seven Hell’s sake.
“Then I will take my leave, Your Grace.  If you can’t help us against the Walkers, at least let us mine dragonglass. It is a special compound that kills White Walkers according to my brother Jon.”
“I know of it.” Daenerys confirmed.
Yohn Royce stepped forward. “Your Grace if I may speak……Her Grace Queen Sansa chose me as Hand, and I chose her as Queen of the Mountains and Vale. Not because of any birthright. She has no right, she’s a fugitive and a Northwoman. But we chose her because her father and brother were great men, and she proved herself to be wise, fierce, and determined to protect those she loves. She is working as we speak to marshal our armies to defend from threats both north and south. We all believe in her. We believe her about the army of the dead.”
“How long have you known Queen Sansa?” Daenerys asked softly.
“Not very long but I am her sworn sword, Hand and second in command of her army.”
Daenerys pointed a hand at them.
“Do anything to threaten me, raise a sword to any of my men, and I swear by all the Gods I will feed you all to my dragons.” She declared fiercely.
Sansa backed away slightly in fear. “I pledge not to, your Grace.  You have my word.”
“Then you have mine. You may leave behind some men to mine your weapons as requested.”
Sansa said “Thank you, Your Grace. Now let us move on to war plans.”
Daenerys said “I have already formed a plan to surround the city.”
“Then my host will head to Riverrun and then move on to the Golden Tooth. Cut them off.” Daenerys nodded in agreement. Sansa turned around one last time.
“Am I your prisoner, Your Grace?”
Daenerys smirked.
“You’re my guest.”
Days passed and Sansa and Daenerys spoke more, getting to know each other as they organized their respective armies for a final assault on the Rock and the Landing. She knew the battle up the walls would not be easy. Cersei was going to be a difficult enemy. Their partnership grew, as did Sansa’s budding crush on the silver haired beauty. Damn her. Loras all over again.
“I haven’t been to the South in years. It’s beautiful” she whispered to herself as she stared out at the blue sparkling ocean on the horizon. She blushed when she realized Daenerys was standing next to her and heard her. She flashed a warm smile at the redhead.
“It is, Your Grace.”
Sansa held up her hand. Enough of this Grace bollocks.
“Please……call me Sansa.”
Daenerys eyed her with curiosity and…affection? She could not quite tell.
“Only if you call me Daenerys.” Her soft voice caressed Sansa’s ears. I want to kiss her, she whined silently. They sat in admiring silence before Sansa finally remembered her manners.
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“Not murdering me yet.” She smirked wryly. Dany smiled amusedly.
“Like you said, I am not Cersei.”
“Thank the gods. She is terrifying. Everyone who’s risen against her, she’s found a way to destroy. I have learned however in recent days there is worse out there waiting for us.”
Daenerys tensed.
“So, what do we do? We can’t exactly call a truce with her.”
What? Does she…
“You believe me?
Daenerys hesitated and turned her head away.
“What if you simply told her the truth? As mad as she is, she doesn’t want to die, right?”
“You don’t even believe me. She wants my head on a spike. She wouldn’t let us within two leagues of her.”
“She wants the Seven Kingdoms. She won’t give them up unless she sees the dead. Maybe we can bring the dead to her?”
The red-haired queen wryly and bitterly smirked.
“That is exactly what we’re trying to avoid.”
“Not all of them. Just one.” Said Daenerys.
Sansa shook her head vehemently. “Impossible. Such a mission would be suicide.  First, they march as one. Second, a storm could trap our men there.”
“Dragons can outfly them.”
Sansa stared at her, shocked that Dany would be so ready to go charging off to the North.
“And the Night King won’t notice you? No, please don’t try something like that. We cannot lose you, or one of your dragons.”
Daenerys’s face changed to soft shock and awe for her new friend.
Sansa continued “We need a viable plan. One that doesn’t divide our forces. The armies of Westeros are depleted from years of war. Winter is here.”
Tyrion interrupted them, striding forward. “Forgive me, my queens.”
“What happened?” Daenerys demanded.
Tyrion looked at his feet, depressed. “We lost Dorne, and the Ironborn when they were ambushed by Euron Greyjoy who now fights for my sister. The Unsullied are trapped in Casterly Rock where Jaime only left a small skeleton garrison. Highgarden was sacked. The Reach lords turned on Lady Olenna and killed her.”
Daenerys looked as if she was about to cry.
‘Gods…I’m losing. But with the North, Trident and Vale with us, we will survive it.” She flashed a thankful smile at the redhead queen. “Sansa’s armies will move into the Westerlands and link up with my Unsullied.  My Dothraki and I will take on the main Lannister force that heads to King’s Landing as we speak, joined by Sansa’s host when they arrive. We all meet up at King’s landing for the final battle. The battle up the walls will be hard. I know that. But Cersei will fight to the death and we must stop her.”
Tyrion reminded them “Despite this defeat, the war is still firmly in our favor. We have the numbers, and the dragons.”
Sansa replied “Because of that, they may overlook the fact that a portion of our troops is foreigners from Essos- I’m not judging, Daenerys – and wildlings, in favor of Cersei. Say what you will about her, she was born here. We should try to win over Cersei’s generals, whom I doubt want to die for the losing side. They’ll more easily join us if Westerosi do the bulk of the fighting. My brother Prince Jon and his Northerners are battle hardened and determined to spill some Lannister blood. We’ll keep the Unsullied in reserve and send Jon in first.”
Daenerys stared at her in increasing awe.
“How did you get so wise, Sansa?”
Sansa blushed “Years of experience, unfortunately.”
The silver haired queen could no longer hold herself back and leaned in for a hug. Sansa stiffened and tried to pull away, reminded too strongly of the past.
“I will not ever harm you. I swear it” Daenerys whispered pleadingly.
“Apologies, D. It has simply been a long time since I had another woman touch me”
“Well that is how I treat friends, Sansa.”
Sansa blushed. Not since Queen Margaery had anyone been so ready to be a friend and equal to her, shown such kindness toward her.
“We’re…...friends?” She asked.
“If you allow me, I would be honored to be your friend. By the way……you called me D.”
“Oh….” Sansa giggled. “You like it? Daenerys is a mouthful” That earned a playful elbow to the ribs.
“My brother called me Dany sometimes. Never liked it. I like D.”
Sansa laughed and her silver haired friend joined in. When they stopped, Daenerys looked at her seriously.
“I will.”
The redhead wondered what in the name of Seven Hells she was talking about.
“… You will, what?”
Daenerys began to take a knee. What is she…
“I will march besides you, Sansa Stark, rightful Queen of the North Vale and Trident and fight in the Great War for Dawn against the Night King. If this is to be our destiny, we must face it together.” Finally. Sansa gratefully held out her hand and took the silverhead’s in her own.
“Rise, Daenerys Stormborn, rightful Queen of Dragonstone, Westerlands, Reach, Dorne and the Stormlands and rightful heir to Old Valyria. From this day forth, we shall rule as joint Queens of Westeros in the Great Alliance”
Daenerys grinned at her. Sansa briefly wondered what the other woman was thinking. Yohn Royce interrupted, carrying something.
“My Queens…. a letter from Winterfell.”
Sansa started crying and sobbing as she reads the contents of the letter. It…can’t be. Gods, Arya….
“Sansa…? “
“D, my brother Brandon Stark and sister Arya Stark have returned to Winterfell. Jon says they are healthy and safe. I thought they were dead…”
“That is wonderful news.” Daenerys smiled brightly but her smile faded when she saw Sansa in distress. They sat quietly, Daenerys wrapping her arms around her crying friend. Sansa allowed herself to feel the woman’s warmth, “So warm…”
She noticed Daenerys blushing. She heard that? Daenerys tightened the hug, as if to say “Yes I did and I love it.” They sat like that for hours, enjoying each other’s company.
The raven from Winterfell initially shook her but now she was genuinely happy that her remaining siblings were surely safe.  Jon would look after them, she reminded herself. Suddenly, here was a knock at the door. A soft feminine rapping. Sure enough, the voice she loved. Wait, loved? “It’s Daenerys.”
“Did something happen?” Sansa panicked. “Is Euron attacking?”
“Hush…its fine. We’re advancing on all fronts. Euron has evaded us so far but I destroyed the main Lannister Army on the Blackwater Rush. We managed to capture Randyll Tarly and his son.”
“But…?”
“Hush. I just wanted to….”
Sansa hummed questioningly.
“We have this alliance now, Sansa. Do you know the best way to cement alliances?  The best way is marriage. I’m not married.”
Sansa blushed red hot. Oh stop, you silly girl. She’s not asking to marry you.
“Are you….’
“Have you ever…. been with a woman?”
What?
“No, I cannot say that I have.” Margaery and I kissed, to be sure, but still.
“N-Nor I…” Daenerys replied. She is so nervous!
“D, I should clarify I’ve never been with a man either. Not really.”
Hurt and pain crossed Sansa’s face for a brief moment. She decided she cannot wait any longer.
“I wish I could have protected you, San. I wish I could take all your pain and put it inside myself. You deserve someone better. Someone who treats you right….”
Daenerys was very close. Her breath hot, her pink lips parted slightly. Ohhh those lips….
“Maybe I do….” Sansa said, barely above a whisper. Then Sansa started leaning in. And her lovely silverhead was not pulling away. They were finally going to kiss. Something Sansa had secretly wanted since the moment they met. And they did. For, as the saying went as it would come to be said centuries later, Sansa loved her lady Daenerys, and it saved the world.
  The End.

Love is the bane of honour, the death of duty | The Dragonpit scene
This episode was the physical embodiment of this warning, now that I think about it. And yes! I’ve been repeatedly watching Jonerys scenes on near-loop since the episode came out because I’m in love and that killed my duty, so see, it works on multilevels 😂
When Aemon Targaryen had said this to Jon, I had thought it applied to Ygritte later, but it wasn’t it. Because with Ygritte, Jon always chose honor/duty, and though the choice wasn’t easy, he never sacrificed his duty for love (technically, he didn’t sacrifice honor for love too, he did it for duty). Of course, the lesson that Jon finally learned was that if anything can make someone forget their duty, it’s love, and no matter how honorable a man is, honor seems a small price to pay for the warmth of love. With Ygritte, though he came close, he never forgot his duty because as I’ve said numerous times, that wasn’t a choice. Be with Ygritte and let the entire Night’s Watch, countless innocents, his family and who knows who else just die? Come on, we all knew that was so not happening. But with Dany… Here is where it gets trickier and I loved how the episode set up the honor vs love clash we can expect next season.
So, the first scene (after Dany’s extra extra appearance 😂) is when Jon publicly pledges himself to Queen Daenerys of House Targaryen.
Tumblr media
Oh wait, do you hear that? The sound of complete utter silence? That’s the sound of all the antis who were loudly clamouring about how Jon is playing Dany. And that whirring sound is their brains switching to a really high gear as they desperately try to ‘reach’ for a new explanation other than Jon being in love with Dany. Funny isn’t it, how one section of the antis is completely okay with butchering his character which is literally a symbol of honesty and honor and staying true to his word. Cersei’s deliberate ‘Ned Stark’s son’ was a reminder that Jon stands for not just honor in the narrative but duty, and unnecessary cruel treachery is by no means part of that code of honor and duty; but to part of the Jonsa Fandom what matters is that he shack up with Sansa even if it be the biggest OOC action ever for him, while the other section, of course, is happy to pile hate on him because he loves someone they don’t and are now loudly proclaiming how he isn’t even good enough for Sansa anymore. Like really? Dislike a ship all you want, but in this house, we do not tolerate any disrespect of the purest of all puppies Jon Snow, and we defend his honor and will continue to do so to best of our abilities.
So anyway this scene, Cersei makes a very reasonable offer in exchange for the truce, [and of course we now know that all she was trying to do was deal with her enemies one by one by dividing them (classic Cersei)], and listen no one, not one person, even considers that Jon will turn her down, not even Daenerys!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In that moment, everyone believed that they had succeeded and it was a done deal and let’s all pack up and go home. This scene simply smashed any theories of Jon playing Dany (like any reasonable person thought he was? 🙄) Why do I say that?
Every person, most notably on Team Dragonstone looked various states of surprised/shocked when he announced his allegiance to Daenerys, not just because it was a foolish thing to do, but because none of them were aware of it happening! Dany hadn’t informed any of them about what had happened between them on the boat, which is definitely odd because if the King in the North has submitted to you, shouldn’t you inform at least your Hand about it? But she didn’t do it. Why?
Because she did not take his submission seriously. Say what you will about Dany, but she knew that his swearing allegiance to her could stem in part from an overwhelming feeling of gratitude (and possibly the other overwhelming feeling of love? 😂) and she respected him enough to give him the chance to declare his submission to her in his own time and way, without pushing him into a corner where he would have no other option but to back her. She wanted his allegiance to come of his own free will, and that, ladies and gentlemen, made me love her like crazy. It was almost like giving him a way out, because she didn’t even tell Tyrion what had happened between them, and that’s interesting because it only emphasizes how much she trusts Jon and trusts that he will be true to his word.
And Jon, oh Jon! 💖😍 If Daenerys has come far from her first meeting, he has too. If this same offer had been made before he met Dany, he would obviously have accepted it because his priority was the White Walker threat, the Northern independence and the staying as far as possible from Southern politics. This offer was literally everything he had wanted at the beginning, all neatly wrapped up and handed to him on a platter, which is why everyone expected him to accept it. Because there is no reason to refuse! Right? Right?? Now I kept saying all along that Jon wasn’t playing Dany, he couldn’t possibly be doing that because his actions are not that of a player. And no moment more strongly proves my point than this one. The ‘undercover lover’ theory could have worked if Jon had agreed to the truce. He wouldn’t even have needed to justify it to Dany or anyone else, and if he did, all he had to say was that of course he’s still loyal to her, but she doesn’t need the North as much as she needs a truce with Cersei, and she would have agreed. Like seriously, it was such a neat solution. Jon would have gotten everything he wanted without having to give anything in return, Dany wouldn’t have doubted Jon’s loyalty and would have still helped him defeat the Night King without assuming that he’s fallen in love with her (which is what she’s probably been trying to convince herself about anyway after the intense hand holding, that it was a spur of the moment thing and ’Jon Snow isn’t actually in love me and the longing stares were just him being hopeful for a successful military alliance!'😂), and of course, the antis would have had a field day because if Jon was truly in love with Daenerys, then why didn’t he publicly stand up for her in the pit? And what did our precious puppy decide to do? What he does best! Make a stand because it is the honorable thing to do, and also because there is no way he’s not going to help Daenerys take down Cersei at a time when she will need all the help she can get! It’s honor born out of love! And my Jonerys heart has never danced such a gig as it did in that moment. Because in this scene, Jon not only does the honorable thing, but he also reveals that his feelings for Dany go beyond political alliances, or the crass 'use her for her dragons’ theory.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this scene was yet another iconic moment in their relationship, when Dany - whose sole focus was winning the Iron Throne - is now giving much more importance to Jon’s original goal, and Jon - whose sole focus was defeating the White Walkers - is now giving more importance to Dany’s original goal. The dynamic is so beautiful because they haven’t just fallen in love with each other, no, they have come to understand the other’s viewpoint, they have come to know, respect and admire the other person and value their goals and give them the importance they deserve. Because if defeating the White Walkers is important to save humanity, so is defeating Cersei, who has shown time and again that all she truly cares about is her immediate family, completely disregarding the realm, unlike both Jon and Dany. Their relationship is so complex, so balanced, so beautiful. It’s not just as simple as ’ice and fire’ by any means. And this scene brought out their relationship dynamic extremely well.
So this tiny sliver of a moment between Cersei’s offer and Jon’s rejection gave me intense Jonerys feels because Dany’s trust in Jon is so unwaveringly strong that she expected, wanted even, him to agree to Cersei’s condition. Which is a glorious way to show how far she’s come from her initial stance of ’bend the knee’. Dany has realized the importance of the Northern threat and when she pledged to destroy the Night King in return for nothing, she meant it. How do I know that? Because she was willing to let Jon remain neutral ’for the greater good’. See, this is why I love Dany. The White Walkers are a threat to the entire realm, and Dany is dedicating all her forces towards their destruction, that is after losing already having lost a dragon. She could have gone the Cersei way of letting the world burn as long as it didn’t affect her, but she didn’t. [A lot of antis make her sound like a tyrant and I’m just so done, but that’s another post. This one is strictly 💖Jonerys💖]. She is actively contributing and asking for nothing in return. Cersei, on the other hand, is only being asked to not make Daenerys fight on two fronts. Dany could very well have demanded Jon Snow’s help in return later, and it would only have been fair. But she didn’t. Even knowing that after fighting the White Walkers, her forces will be heavily depleted and facing Cersei will be more difficult, Dany still does not expect/want Jon to help her. If that isn’t reason enough for Jon to support her, I don’t know what is. Antis claiming that she’s an entitled selfish supremist??? Antis claiming that Jon has zero reason to like/admire her??? When she’s thinking exactly the way Jon wanted her to, realizing the importance of the White Walkers threat and not demanding anything in return. My Jonerys heart melted at this scene! 😭💖
And of course, Dany’s face was priceless!
Tumblr media
She was so torn between ’oh you idiot, now you’ve done it’ and ’my God, I love this man’. The perfect mixture of exasperation and admiration was so perfectly pulled off! Because of course she had wanted him to agree, that was the logical thing to do. But then he didn’t, and her face is like.. Yeah, no wonder I love him. Because this is part of who Jon Snow is, and part of the reason we adore him so much. Lies and deceit don’t come easy to him, this man doesn’t lie unless he absolutely has to, unless he has no other choice, and even then it’s not easy, and that makes him the hero we all love.
Another thing I found super interesting about this scene is Jon’s choice of words, but that’ll be a whole other post.
Also, I love how their ‘together’ness is echoed in everything. They will defeat the White Walker ‘together’ and then fight to overthrow Cersei ‘together’.
*jonerys feels intensify*

Watched S7E6, now: predictions for S7E7 & S8
This is my first time posting my entire thoughts about what I think of the TV Show Game of Thrones (because I treat the show and the books as two separate things) and what directions it is going… I’m not sure if I should warn, but I’m a Jonsa shipper (and I will do my best to not let my shipper goggles get in the way). But if you don’t like it, don’t read it! And my love, don’t spread hate! My words are not meant to hurt you if you’re a Jonerys shipper, I’m a fan of this series just like you, I just have different opinions and that is OK! That is beautiful, that is what makes us unique! So refrain from hate, because in my blog hatred is answered with love! NO HATE SHALL ENTER THIS FORTRESS OF LOVE AND EMPATHY.
SO;
This season there is a major plot undergoing right under everyone’s nose, it’s easy to see, but it is also easy to ignore it if you’re watching the show with tendencious eyes. The juxtaposition between Cersei, Daenerys and Sansa’s temperament, their beliefs and their perceptions about how to exercise a position of power (because so far the only “true” Queen is Cersei Lannister).
UNDERNEATH THE READ MORE WE HAVE SPOILERS, INFORMATION FROM THE LEAKS AND SOME HEAVY PREDICTIONS, SO BEWARE:
As far as the leak goes, apparently the “round table” down in KL is happening (Danaerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Euron Greyjoy, Tyrion Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Cercei Lannister and Brienne of Tarth will gather and as much as I would love to, I don’t think Cleganebowl is happening this season, we’ll see them fight, but not that soon, S8 will be worth it, cleganebowl I’m ready, ready like I’ve never been before). So, Cersei will be Cersei and they will all underestimate her (if Sansa was there, she’d see through her façade, just sayin’) and even though she will agree to help defeat the NK, once they all leave to the North, she will tell Jaime about her plans to actually not send reinforcements and let them all die before doing something. Jaime will abandon her and join the North). Euron’s also jumping off that boat once he learns that the WWs can’t swim and goes running back to the Iron Islands (I’m hoping that next season we’ll have this parallel plot where Theon will try to infiltrate the IL to get his sister back, she might die and it can all come down to Theon having to defeat his uncle and actually assume the title that he so much abbhores of King of The Iron Islands and the heir of House Greyjoy, most likely the last, if this happens it’s only happening on S8). In episode 7 we’ll have “epicincestuousboatsex” and afterwards we’ll also have a shot at Rhaegar and Lyanna’s secret wedding ceremony in Dorne (AND D&D THIS IS MY LAST WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT ADDRESS ELIA MARTELL, RAGE WILL BEFALL YOU). And this will be the end of S7. Also in S7E7 I think we’ll be seeing some apologizing on Arya’s part to Sansa and also according to the leaks LF’s going to be killed. So Stark family will unite again, this time much stronger than before. I personally think that Brienne and Arya will become Sansa’s personal bodyguards and who knows, maybe part of her Queensguard (if Jon ends up abandoning the North or giving up his claim, but we’ll talk about that later in the post).
S8 will begin with everyone gathering in Winterfell, just like in season 1 (oh, look at the irony) and we’ll first have two, maybe three confrontations: Jon’s parentage and Danaery’s character put through question. D&D have passed two opportunities of this knowledge making itself shine in the light: first one) Jorah did not mention that the person who saved him was called Samwell Tarly who belonged to the Nights Watch, that could’ve happened right after Jon mentioned Jeor, why is that? right? second one) Archmaester Marwyn had the opportunity to mention that Sam’s father and brother were burned by the Targaryen girl, but he didn’t, because he didn’t have the heart to deliver such message. That can only lead to one thing: this will all come to light in a very much expected meeting in Winterfell, and It’ll come down all at once. “They’ll see you for what you are” said Jon Snow to Danaerys on a boat back to the North and so they shall, just not like he is seeing whilst projecting his savior and Queen. The third one is Bran x Jaime meeting and the truth coming out (of her well to shame mankind and Jaime Lannister, this would be a nice scene for him to swear allegiance to house Stark forever and vowing to protect the Stark children together with Brienne). All of this might be interrupted or put aside because of the arrival of the WWs and their Ice Dragon. They will all fight alongside, they still all have a common enemy: the dead and the living will win the war, we’ll have many casualties and the fact that Jon bent the knee will not come to light just yet. Even if Jon is smitten, he knows that the people in the North will not accept a Targaryen Queen, not even him when his true parentage is revealed (so I’m not sure if the “common folk” and secondary lords will know about this fact until after the Winter War). When the Winter War ends Cersei will be seen as a traitor and she will be sentenced to death by all, I think Jaime will call it upon him to do the duty and the Hound might accompany him on this one, and he will take the Mountain CLEGANEBOWL AT LAST as Jaime takes Cersei’s life. If this is public or behind curtains, I don’t know. But I’m 90% sure that Jaime will kill Cersei. Daenerys will call upon Jon’s word about him kneeling, Jon’s parentage (if not public) will become public.
(Speaking a little about Cleganebowl, I think that Sandor will win against his brother Gregor and he will be spared of being killed by Arya with Sansa’s intervention, I really didn’t want to bring the books up in this post, regarding the altered memory that Sansa has of Sandor kissing her, so I’m just going to point out that he saved her before, so she will save him this time, I also believe that if Sandor survives everything, he will serve Sansa).
The Northern Lords will not support Daenerys Targaryen’s claim to the throne, I repeat, the Northern Lords will not support a Targaryen’s claim to the throne, nor will they give up their Independent Kingdom of the North, they don’t want a southron ruler anymore, they don’t want a Targaryen ruler anymore, they are different, their politics are different, their beliefs are different, THEY WANT AN INDEPENDENT NORTH WITH THEIR TRUE KING/QUEEN WHOSE NAME IS STARK. “The North Remembers” is something so often repeated that I really doubt the opposite.
Like I said in my post at /r/freefolk, we’ve been so focused on projecting either Ned or Rhaegar in Jon’s character, but what if he’s more like Lyanna than we think? “Everything that happens will be something that you’ve seen before.” said Petyr Baelish, what if it comes down to Jon having to make the same choice as Lyanna? But this time, the right choice is not by running away with a Targaryen Queen, it is standing beside his family and doing his duty as a Stark (he is 50% Stark and he did grow up there) and as King in the North. I think that there is a possibility that after all these wrong choices and especially because Jon is the kind of person he is, he could abdicate from the Northern throne, declare Sansa Stark as his Queen and fight her war. I like how a war between Queen Daenerys and Queen Sansa (fire in one side and ice in the other, just like the Winter War, but this time we’ll be rooting, at least I know that I will, for ice and not fire) sounds poetic. Especially with Jon who is a son of ice and fire in midst of that.
Danaerys will be furious and I think this is the point where we’ll get Targbowl and Dany will be proven The Princess That Was Promised (since thanks to her the living won the war against the dead), I mean her figure is extremely Messianic on her own and Jon will become Azor Ahai once he slays her. (  I’ve always loved the theory that Jaime is Azor Ahai, but I’ve started considering otherwise. Jon might or might not die in this confrontation, but I have my suspicions that he’ll die once more, only to be brought back by Melissandre who’ll die, so this will be his last life. I do think that the dragons will not harm Jon, so he’ll be the only person capable of killing Daenerys. We’ll have more casualties and treasons, I think this is the time for Varys to shine and I also strongly believe that Tyrion will change sides. Once they all get to Winterfell and he observes the difference between Sansa, Cersei and Daenerys himself, he is the only character to have been close to all three of them and I think that this is something major.
We’ll have a question then, about who will sit on the Iron Throne and I see some possibilities: Jon will have proven himself as King in the North, but with Daenery’s demise as well as Cersei, that leaves the Iron Throne empty. I don’t think either Jon or Sansa want to take that chair, nor live down south, so I think that Tyrion might end up with that position and the North an independent kingdom. If Sansa is Queen in the North, I still think that Jon would want no claim to the throne and it would end up with Tyrion anyway. I would love to see him with Varys as his hand, but I’m p-r-e-t-t-y sure Vary’s will die next season.
I can see Sansa and Jon getting married, especially to appease the Northern lords. Now I am a shipper and as you can see I have avoided speaking about Jon’s feelings regarding Sansa throughout the post, but I’ve always been the kind of person to leave the best to the end. My perception is that Jon had some conflicting feelings regarding Sansa and we saw that developing in S6 and it was put on hold this S7, Jon is very honorable and whatever it is that he felt was never explored by himself because he always saw Sansa as a sister and vice-versa (I really believe that the same happened in her case). It will be beautiful to see their interactions in midst of everything and Jon perceiving Sansa in this new light, as his cousin.
I’m not sure who will actually die aside from Varys, Melissandre, Daenerys and Cersei. But I think I’ll be surprised and it will indeed be bittersweet and satisfying at the same time (D&D did mention that it would be). So what do you guys think? I would love to hear opinions and critiques, I love to see through different perceptions and read different arguments, or a different light in the same argument. I also wanted to point out that GRRM has said that the downfall of House Targaryen would be their incest, if Jon and Daenerys got married and his magical seed flowed through her and she got magically pregnant it would make him quite contradictory and I strongly believe that’s not the case, so there’s no need trying to convince me otherwise, tho if you try I will answer it, because it’s always okay to discuss! Just saying that you won’t change my mind.
Jonsa is endgame guys.
And even if by some chance it isn’t (and both Daenerys and Jon dies), SANSA IS ENDGAME, STARKS ARE ENDGAME!

Conqueror and the Red Wolf Version 2
Basically my rendition of what I hope happens in Season 8, from Sansa’s perspective, with some of the same plot points from my previous fic. Warnings: Language.
I promise when I am a Queen, I’d make them love me.
Sansa was sitting at her seat in the Hall of Winterfell when Maester Wolkan begged a word.
“Lady Sansa, a letter from Dragonstone”.
Sansa read it…and tears began to fall. Jon….
Arya said “What is it?”
“You don’t know? Jon bent the knee to Daenerys Targaryen days ago.”
Arya gasped and angrily yelled “WHAT? How could he? Didn’t Robb die for northern independence? Jon should have fought harder for it. That bloody fucking Dragon fucking cunt tricked him or something.”
“I don’t know, Arya. Maybe she threatened him to kneel or burn. We will get to the truth of it, when they arrive here. The letter says he is bringing her here to fight with the North against the dead.”
Arya snarled, “She will betray us. That dragon bitch.”
Sansa nodded. “Her father was a murdering psychopath and she even lived up to that when she burnt those Tarlys alive. I don’t know what to do.”
Arya quietened, and then said “Call our bannermen in here.  They must know we’re under the Dragon banner now.”
Maester Wolkan didn’t move. “There’s another message.”
This one sent chills up Sansa’s spine. It came from the NW.
“The Wall fell. The Lord Commander is dead. They are coming.”
Sure enough, the lords of the North gathered as they awaited Jon’s return. Sansa had them in the Great Hall first.
“My lords,” She announced. “I’m sure you’re all wandering why I asked you here. However, we have received grave news. Our former King, Jon Snow, has bent his knee to the Dragon Queen and is bringing her here as we speak.”
A massive uproar erupted, as the lords suspicions about Jon were finally confirmed.
Bran spoke next. “I saw it. He is enamored with her. That could be his reasoning.” Arya made a disgusted sound. “I thought better of Jon than to give up independence for cunt.”
Sansa held up her hand, “Hush Arya, there could be more to it.”
Glover roared “FUCK JON SNOW. King Robb died for Northern independence from those flowery fucking Southerners. But now he invites them in?”
Sansa tried to be diplomatic. “My Lord, be calm. He said it himself. We need her to fight the dead.”
Arya countered. “But he couldn’t have fought harder, made some kind of a mutually beneficial deal? If she’s worthy of the North, according to Jon, she should have been more receptive to our views of the Iron Throne. She already burned people alive for defying her. We’re next.”
Sansa sighed. The north was fierce, and loyal to their own to a fault.
Lyanna Mormont snarled at them, “The North knows no foreign Queen from the South. Brandon, you are our rightful King, and Robb’s true heir. We made a terrible mistake trying to leapfrog a bastard ahead of the line of succession. Didn’t we wage an entire war because Joffrey was not Robert’s trueborn son?”
Sansa interrupted. “My brother, Bran, has abdicated from his claim to Winterfell and the North.”
Arya smirked. “Then you lead us.”
“WHAT?” Sansa screeched.
“You are a trueborn child of Eddard Stark. You’re stronger than anyone I know, Sansa.”
“Yes but-“
“Am I your sworn sword, sister? Am I your Queen’s Justice?”
Lyanna snarled “The Bastard betrayed us, Lady Sansa. Lady Arya speaks true. Your blood is legitimately of the North. No one can doubt King Robb would have wanted you to take over. The North knows no Queen but the Queen in the North, whose name is Stark.”
Lord Manderly stood forward. “Sansa’s blood is trueborn, the daughter of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. The North should rally to their own. We loved your father and we loved your brother Robb. We died for them in Robert’s Rebellion and War of Five Kings. I will be your sworn sword, from this day to my last day. The Queen in the North!”
Sansa still numb, gave the barest of nods.
Lord Glover stepped forward. “I won’t fight for a Wolf pup hiding behind a Dragon bitch’s skirts. House Glover fought for House Stark for a thousand years. We will continue to do so. The Queen in the North!”
Yohn Royce agreed. “She speaks harshly but truly, my Lady. The knights of the Vale rode North for you. We fought in the Battle of the Bastards for you.  You are the Red Wolf. You avenged your father and slew Petyr Baelish. The Queen in the Mountains and Vale!”
“Queen in the Mountains and Vale!” Lord Corbray shouted.
Arya goofily smiled at her sister, who was still gaping in shock. Finally, she found her voice.
“I-I accept. I accept this tremendous responsibility. I understand your misgivings about the Iron Throne and I agree that we should break free, just as Robb wanted.
When they died down, Lord Royce said “My Queen., there is much to be done. What are your orders?”
Sansa looked at him and steeled herself, knowing she would always have his support.
“As my first act as Queen, I legitimize my brother as Prince Jon Stark. Arya and Bran have abdicated, and thus Jon will take over again if I were to die. That is final, my bannermen.” I treated him so badly. I’m so sorry, Jon. Though I am mad at you right now, you are a Stark and always was.
She continued “As my second act as Queen, I name my sister Arya Stark as the Queen’s Justice. I name Brienne of Tarth to be my Lady Commander of the Queensguard. Lord Royce, I believe no one can doubt your honor or experience. I name you Hand of the Queen.”
Brienne smiled at her and bowed in deference. “My Queen, I accept your honorable and just offer. I did not believe I would find a Royal worth fighting for after the death of King Renly. I swear I will always protect you, Your Grace”.
Sansa proceeded to order them to gather food and weapons, fully stocked. The dead were coming and they were coming fast. The Wall had fallen. All the terrible stories they were told as children were true after all. A nightmare was heading for them all, and Sansa hoped as Queen, her army could hold on. At last, the day came. Daenerys was coming to the gates with Jon in tow. The entire North/Vale/Trident household awaited them.  Finally, she stepped through. Oh no, she’s hot. Sansa was immediately struck by her beauty. Flowing silver hair, soft feminine figure, fiery eyes.  Sansa calmed down and coolly began to speak. “Welcome, Queen in the South, Daenerys Stormborn, to Winterfell.  I trust your journey here was safe?”
“Thank you. It was.” Gods, even her voice is sexy- Stop it, Sansa! What, do you have some maiden’s crush already?
Jon remembered his manners and said “This is my sister, Lady Sansa of Winterfell.”
“It is a pleasure to meet you at last. Jon spoke very highly of you.” The sexy silverhead said.
Sansa turned cold and steely. “Oh, he did?”
“I have bent my knee to the Dragon Queen”, Jon confirmed. “If not for Queen Daenerys, I would have been cut down and killed beyond the wall. She will aid us in our struggle against the Night King, who’s army is on his way as we speak. The Wall fell. We must prepare.”
“I understand your decision, Jon but you could have consulted with us first before giving up the throne we entrusted to you.” Sansa said sadly.
“What in the name of the Many-Faced God were you doing beyond the wa-“ Arya began but Sansa squeezed her arm.
“We were there to capture a single wight to present to Cersei Lannister who has promised us the Lannister army’s aid.” Jon said.
“Are they coming?”
“Well no scout has reported movements-“
“So, it was a waste of time. I am sorry, Jon but none of you know Cersei if you think for one second she would fight alongside a foreign Queen, Dothraki and the Northerners in solidarity. She will betray us first chance she gets, if she hasn’t already. You lost a Dragon, it destroyed the Wall. You trusted Cersei, she abandoned you. Your foolish mission has cost us dearly and it cost you your crown.”
“I am not ready to believe anyone is that evil.” Jon said sadly. “Cersei’s army will come.”
“Lady Sansa-“Daenerys began.
Arya interrupted, smugly. “My sister is a Queen, not a Lady. Have you not heard?”
Daenerys looked at her like she had three heads.
“Forgive me but the last King in the North was Torrhen Stark and he bent his knee in perpetuity to Aegon Targaryen. Which means forever. I assume then, you will bend your knee like your brother?”
Sansa coolly responded “You have your facts wrong. The King in the North before Jon Snow was my eldest brother Robb Stark, the Young Wolf. He declared independence from the Crown before being murdered by Freys and Boltons at the Red Wedding.”
“I see. My history books were off and no one bothered to correct me.” she coolly sneered, glancing at Jon angrily. Arya looked disgusted.
Sansa continued “Many of my bannermen are deeply angered and upset by Prince Jon’s decision. As a result, the North, Vale and Trident all declared me their Queen only a few days ago. We are now and forever, free and independent from the yoke of the Iron Throne who would have us either on our knees or burn.”
“I am not here to burn anyone, er…Queen Sansa. Lord Tarly was an enemy combatant and a danger.”
Jon for the first time was stunned and disgusted by Daenerys. “You burned Sam’s father? You said you would be different!”
Sansa nodded. “If you are truly here to help us, why is it you have brought Dothraki and Ironborn savages into your cause? The Ironborn betrayed Robb and tried to murder my baby brothers.  Dothraki have killed, raped and enslaved millions for centuries since the fall of Valyria. Dragons brutally conquered the North and fried whole cities to the ground in their heyday. I was raped, sold and tortured by Southrons and their lackeys. You cannot expect us to simply act as if nothing happened. I didn’t ask for this. I didn’t want this. But I am Queen of the North, Trident and Vale because I love my home and I wish to protect it as best I can.”
There was a long awkward pause after Sansa’s speech. Finally, Daenerys responded, shameful and a bit embarrassed.
“You are absolutely correct, Queen Sansa. However, I have forced the Dothraki to swear off those practices from now to the end of time. The same is true of the Ironborn who are currently rebelling against King Euron. I saw the Night King and his army and feel regret every day for not believing in it sooner. As Jon has no doubt told you, unless we stand together as one single united people, the Night King will kill us all.  No house can stop them! The Dothraki can’t stop them! My Dragons can’t stop them and all the southern armies can’t stop them! Only all of us, together, fighting as one. Even then it might not be enough but at least we’ll give the damn things a fight!” Daenerys boomed.
Sansa smiles, having the perfect response. “We shall fight together against the Dead, for they are a common enemy. I pledge this on my life. However, I must humbly and graciously request that you honor our independence. My bannermen will never again accept subjugation from the Iron Throne. If you choose to disagree and burn us, then we’ll fight. We’ll drive you out.” She fell to her knees. “Please, please do us this one honor. Set aside your pride and avoid a pointless and costly war.”
Sansa was almost in tears, both scared and emotional, as she remembered how great Robb was and his battle for independence. Behind her, quiet chants of “Queen in the North!” echoed, led by Arya.
“Granted.” Daenerys suddenly said.
Lord Tyrion started “Your G-“
“That’s my decision, my lord Hand. If you remember, the Greyjoys asked for independence, I allowed it. Queen Sansa here is asking as well. Your Grace, you humbled yourself before me, which was extremely brave. You earned my eternal respect. I have suffered, similarly. So, I will fight with you in the Great War. All of human history has led to this moment. If we die, we die together.”
She extended a hand, which was met by a sudden hug.
“Sansa..,,” First name basis already? Ah shut up, she’s hugging back, you idiot. Daenerys quickly withdrew the hug while blushing furiously, leaving Sansa panging with a hint of disappointment. She quickly returned to regal Queen-Mode.
“I extend my full royal gratitude, and accept your proposal for a formal Alliance to defend the North. We’ll destroy the Night King together, then you and your armies will leave the North forever. Prince Jon Stark, you are legitimized by royal decree and named my Supreme Commander of the Royal Army, second only to the Queens. I believe no man has more experience against the dead. I shall forgive your previous actions as long as you never undermine House Stark again. Join us in the Hall as we call our banners and prepare to make our stand against the dead.”
The northerners cheered. They were free. At last. Even Arya could not be prouder of her elder sister. They love me. I made them love me, Arya.
Suddenly Samwell Tarly came running up. “Bran and I need to tell you something, Jon. Now.”
That night, she was waking to her chambers when she ran into the silverhead herself.
“Your Grace…”
Daenerys eyed her with curiosity and…affection? She could not quite tell.
“Please, no need for formalities, my friend. My name is Daenerys.” Her soft voice caressed Sansa’s ears. I want to kiss her, she whined silently. Woah, where did that come from? Sansa blushed and smiled brightly.
“Then please call me Sansa.” Enough of this Your Grace bollocks.
They sat in admiring silence before Sansa finally remembered her manners.
“Thank you.” She said, barely above a whisper.
“For what?”
“Not murdering me yet.” She smirked wryly. Dany smiled amusedly.
“I am not Cersei.”
“Thank the gods. She is terrifying. Everyone who’s risen against her, she’s found a way to destroy. I have learned however in recent days there is worse out there waiting for us.”
Daenerys smiled and agreed. Later that night, Sansa heard crying in the Queen’s room. She quietly went to investigate. Her friend was crying! Dany needed her! Dany? What’s with the damn nicknames, Sansa? She was shocked at seeing the strong silver haired queen so vulnerable and broken. What is this? Answers!
“D-Daenerys?”
“Don’t look at me that way. I cannot bear it.”
Sansa turns away and blushes. She noticed?
“I….am sorry.  Are you ok?”
“Y-Your brother broke up with me.” She sobbed.
“Did she say why?”
“H-He said he is my nephew”, What? “He’s the son of my brother Rhaegar. He was disgusted that we lay together and wanted to never be with me again, like that.”
Sansa was deeply surprised. “Didn’t the Targaryens-“
“Marry brother to sister for centuries, I know. I suppose he is still a Northman at heart. He did provide me some brief comfort. But I understand his misgivings about the Targaryens. We were not perfect.”
Sansa smiled warmly at her and reached up to brush away a tear.
“You have gone through worse, according to Lord Tyrion. Jon will be ok. He’s a stubborn fool sometimes. I have decided to believe in you, Queen Daenerys, and our alliance.”
“Do you really believe we have a chance in this war?” Daenerys vulnerably whispered.
Sansa looked down at her with new determination and resolve.
“Even if we don’t, we will still give them the fight of their lives, just as you said. You and your dragons will lead from above. We’ll keep the Northerners in reserve and send the Dothraki in first.”
Daenerys returned the determined look and stood up to hug Sansa tightly. Oh Gods…she’s so warm. My Dragon.
Days passed. The army of the living was on the march. The Two Queens got to know each other better. They were now close friends, and close to lovers. A rare new experience for the redhead. One night, they finally kissed, sealing the courtship. For as the saying went as it would come to be said centuries later, Sansa loved her lady Daenerys, and it saved the world.
The End.
