something feels so wrong to me about making fun of sam smith’s performances. cracking jokes about the choreo, how they look doing the choreo, comparing their performances to mcdonald’s countdowns. when a lot of it... is the same shit so many other artists get praised for (harry styles being one of them).
like... what’s this really about? because it sure as fuck isn’t about their actual vocal talent or their musical talent because y’all really seemed to LOOVEE their music when you couldn’t see them.
is it actually about the “energy” of the performance? or the choreo? or is it maybe the fact that you’re made uncomfortable by the fact that after they took time off to recover, they look different from how they did before? is it maybe because you don’t like seeing people with body diversity be so comfortable in their skin, singing songs about sexual promiscuity, unless it fits your image of what is “acceptable” body diversity?
is it really the choreo that you don’t like? the costumes? or is it maybe their entire existence in the spotlight as someone you deem to be “other”?

the fact that attractive people actually do constantly get free drinks, free food, free bus tickets, free entry to museums (yes this happened irl to a friend of mine), etc seriously makes me so angry. like the rest of us should get a stipend and i'm not kidding

You being multishipper doesn’t change the fact that you obviously have a preference and you try to push the agenda why your preference has less fans. You and your followers. Look how many times you used depth when comparing different ships here
I am guessing the tea didn't work! :(
Perhaps you didn't notice so I will give you a quick tutorial!
You will find this on the three lil dots on my blog!! Click it!! It will do wonders for you!! <33

every art critic, teacher or tutorial maker who tells you that your character designs must be conventionally attractive or appealing is a big fat liar

Bill's humanoid form, in the mindscape at least, is put together from pieces of what Ford subconsciously considers most attractive, mixed with Bill's personal aesthetic. He originally made it for manipulation purposes, since people are more likely to trust those who they find attractive (anglerfish know whats up). He doesn't like using it much but Ford's flustered reactions when he drapes himself over the nerd are absolutely adorable.
The key word as far as descriptions go is humanoid. From a distance it may look normal, but when you get closer it's very clearly not human. He gives off a strong uncanny valley vibe. If you ask Ford, it just looks exotic rather than creepy.
For Ford, the appeal is less that he looks like a human and more that he doesn’t look like a human, and it only serves to highlight how alien Bill really is. At first glance it’s all well and good, but the longer he looks the more clear it becomes that the form is only human in the same way that eyespots on a butterfly are eyes. He could just reach forward and peel off that illusion and Bill would be underneath with an amused crinkle in his eye, saying “if you wanted me to stay in this form, all you had to do was ask, Sixer.”

i go absolutely wild for genderbends in the right context. certain kinds of genderbends make me extremely happy. but the issue is that i'm also very picky so i will look at like 99% of genderbends and get mad at them bc they suck and are bad. but that last 1% which are actually good........ unbeatable. y’know. so i continue dredging through the crap because occasionally i find a diamond in there................
