i dont know if you will see this but i am a big fan of your g!bruce meets the batfam!!!! I literally have tumblr just for this series (and now that I’ve tried it im beginning to love it ngl) . Annyywaayy ive just read the new chapter and it’s so good!?? Like i am really excited for the next chapter!!!

okay, so in the Gotham tv show (this has spoilers for all 5 seasons, so read on if you're okay with that) the way that they approached writing the joker was actually really up in the air in the beginning. this is because they didn't have the rights to use the name "joker," and so fox (the company that made the show) planned on making a bunch of smaller characters in the show as a kind of easter egg as people who could be the joker or who resemble him in some way.

this changed when cameron monaghan (the actor for both jerome and jeremiah) guest starred in s1e16 "the blind fortune teller." in it, the character of jerome is introduced as a 17/18 year old boy who travels with the circus with his mother, who is a snake dancer. he is meant to be one of the aforementioned joker-like characters in the show and wasn't actually supposed to be included again after that episode, if i am not mistaken.

however, the viewers LOVED his performance and jerome came back in season two as a member of the maniax, a group of arkham inmates who were broken out of the asylum. i won't go too into detail about the actual plot, but in seasons two, three, and four, jerome shows up in at least a few different episodes with very memorable storylines each time.

it isn't until season four of the show that jeremiah is even revealed at all! jeremiah and jerome are identical twin brothers, however, jeremiah has been in hiding for years under the fake name "xander wilde" in an attempt to escape jerome, who wants to get revenge on him for lying to their mother about what he (jerome) did when they were children. basically, jeremiah lied to their mother (lila, who jerome is revealed to have killed in 1x16) that jerome tried to kill him, causing jeremiah to be sent away and be adopted by rich people and get to go to a well-funded private school where he could live out his best life as a child prodigy (which was jeremiah's end goal to this), whereas jerome was left behind in the circus that they lived at (haly's circus, the same one that dick grayson later was raised in before being adopted by bruce). during this time, jerome was horrifically abused by his mother, his uncle, and his mother's many romantic partners. this eventually caused him to crack, which creates the character we see in the show.

here's an easy way to remember the difference in their personalities:

in the standard american deck of cards, there are two jokers: one that is black and white and one that is in color. in this analogy, jeremiah is the black and white joker and jerome is the one in color.

this is jerome:

he's got a *very* boisterous personality. he's outgoing and charismatic and, of course, severely messed up in the head. he *enjoys* the pain he causes people and does it with little to no reservations. he thinks things through less thoroughly than jeremiah but jerome always has a plan and is actually quite smart. i couldn't do him the disservice of calling him the dumb twin, despite some points about jeremiah that i'll get back to later.

anyway, jerome has a grand plan for all of gotham: he believes that, fundamentally, everyone in the world is like him and is also at least a bit crazy inside. he wants everyone to tap into their inner selves and let themselves run free / go crazy. he successfully ensnares huge hoards of gothamites with his persuasive way of speaking and interesting flare to his words. he amasses a large cult following, all of whom are very similar to him in the sense that they all demonstrate similar signs of instability.

jerome kind of invented the iconic "HAHAHA" signature joker laugh in the gotham universe, even though he isn't the one who goes on to become "mr. j" (gotham's version of the joker) in the end (that's jeremiah, though i have a lot to say about that).

jerome's always smiling, a genuinely creepy smile that throws people off at first but can be really scary once you know what you're looking at. he single handedly turns gotham into a madhouse on multiple occasions and is the one who basically spread the "crazy" to the general population (for short: genpop).

he's a classic cult leader in the sense that he can mesmerize a whole room with his magnetic presence but also will ruthlessly cut down any of his followers if they so much as upset him (or even if they're just being annoying or could have a greater purpose, like when he stabbed a follower in the gut to take their blood to draw a frowney-face on bruce).

that reminds me, another important thing to know about jerome is that he has an iconic stapled-on face! this is because he died once (in season two, though he came back to life for season three onwards) and one of his followers tried to revive him using some insider medical knowledge from doctor hugo strange (who is just... a whole thing. ew.). he thinks that he failed at doing this and steals jerome's face so that he can wear it on television in an attempt to control jerome's followers (spoiler: this doesn't work).

however, it turns out that jerome *was* revived from this, and he's pretty upset that some dude stole his face! so he uses a staple gun to re-attach it after he gets it back (and kills the guy who did it). his face is later punched off by jim gordon but reattached more properly during his time at arkham afterward (the carnival scene happened in season 3 and jerome came back with a kind-of healed face in season 4).

jerome is the colorful joker because he's very much expressive. he lets out every single emotion he feels---unless he's trying to deceive someone, at which point he is a phenomenal liar. (in season 1 when we are first introduced to him, he almost successfully gets away with the murder of his own mother.)

jerome is funny and laughs a lot and is *loud.* he's also absolutely insane and incredibly cruel, as well as impulsive, but he's able to curb his instincts if he feels like he can pull off a big plan.

jerome is a showman by nature. he's a product of the circus and it *shows.* everything he does is like an act, something that is acknowledged by many people in the show.

he's a funky lil dude. totally crazy, but kind of adorable at times.

he's also SEVERELY traumatized from his horrible past and has huge trust issues.

so, yeah. jerome is colors! remember that.

unfortunately, pookie died in season 4 and doesn't seem to have been revived this time </3

now, onto his twin brother jeremiah!

jeremiah is, at least at first, presented to be the complete opposite of jerome. he's calm, collected, and seemingly sane---at least at first. bruce trusts him at first and he even befriends him for a period of time before jeremiah betrays him.

jeremiah is a genius engineer, and, when looking into his past, we can assume that he was a child prodigy. he worked with thomas wayne before he died and designed the wayne plaza building under the aforementioned alias "xander wilde." he also locked himself in an underground maze for ~6 years (i believe?) and never went outside, instead sending his proxy (ecco) out to act in his place during business transactions.

as seen here, jeremiah seems to be the complete opposite of showboat jerome:

when we first meet jeremiah, we are told that he is totally sane, but we can later see that this is not the complete truth.

i'll use jeremiah's project as a metaphor for this. jeremiah was building a set of generators which could make energy harvesting and usage much less expensive and much more bio-friendly (if i remember correctly). bruce promised to fund his project and jeremiah accepts his offer quickly.

after jerome dies in season 4 after kidnapping bruce and jeremiah, he left behind a concoction of chemicals that seemingly make jeremiah go insane. this is a play on joker toxin / joker venom from the greater dc universe.

however, after jeremiah reveals his new self

he says that the spray did not actually change who he actually is, but just gave him an altered appearance. there are a lot of fan theories about this, but the general consensus is that the spray likely lowered his inhibitions, which gave him the kick needed to reveal his true self.

even his complexion resembles the joker he corresponds with: black and white. he is the black and white joker because he isn't as expressive, is way more calculated, and is more cruel and less happy. even his skin is paper white.

that looks a lot more like the joker we know and love today, right? bleach-pale skin, red painted lips, green hair. he's instantly recognizable as the stereotypical joker now.

remember when i mentioned the generators? let's go back to them. the entire time that the generators have been around, they've also been perfectly functional as powerful bombs. their ability to be used as bombs does not undermine the fact that they can also be used as generators, and both of these things were true at the same time *for the entire time they have existed.*

it is in this way that jeremiah's paradoxical nature has always existed. jeremiah is crafty, cunning, and absolutely vicious. he has no care or concern for human life in general and will sacrifice most people in his life if it means that he will get what he wants in the end.

this is shown both before and after the joker toxin in how he lied about jerome when they were children (which caused jerome to be heavily abused) and in how jeremiah willingly killed one of his most devoted and beloved followers, who was being ransomed, just because someone put him on hold and it was personally easier for him to just kill him than sit on hold on the phone for a while. (he also has a vicious streak, though, because he immediately moved the demolition of the bombs up to immediately once he was out of the blast zone because those people inconvenienced him.)

something that's important to realize about jeremiah is that he has an issue with being called crazy. jerome does, too, but he eventually comes to accept the term, almost like he's reclaiming it, but jeremiah is *violently* against it. that's one of the things that set him off in the previously mentioned interaction.

both jeremiah and jerome are obsessed with bruce, though in different ways. jeremiah sees bruce first as his best friend and later as the "brother [he] could never have, that jerome could never be." jerome just sees bruce as a particularly entertaining and interesting kid who he enjoyed tormenting who he would eventually kill.

anyway, despite jeremiah being crazy (or, depending on who you ask, just less inhibited) he is still crazy smart and calculating. he thinks through everything before he does it and his master plans seem like they go on forever with 10000 parts to them and backups and contingencies galore.

the only time that jeremiah ever really seems to break out of this is when he's fighting with bruce. while he still does have a greater point to make or something he's trying to accomplish, he thinks through things less with him and shows his impulsive and rash side a bit more, which is interesting because jerome showed his thoughtful and contemplative side when faced with the obstacle that is bruce thomas wayne. i love parallels and contrasts, especially in these two characters! i just love writing about twins, they're always so interesting.

some important things about their relationship to one another:

even though jerome kidnapped jeremiah and seemingly strapped a bomb to his neck (after breaking into his house and telling him that he would kill him), jerome doesn't seem to actually want jeremiah to die. instead, as we later find out, he wants jeremiah to unleash his true self and carry on his legacy of chaos and cruelty in gotham for him after his death. this is why he left behind the laughing gas for him.

(the fact that jerome thought to do all of that shows that he really was a smart character and that he truly did understand the world around him well. he knew exactly what would happen in the event of his death, i.e. bruce offering to fund jeremiah's work and jeremiah accepting, as is shown when jerome has the joker venom in a present box which claims to be sent from wayne enterprises.)

jeremiah *hates* to be compared to jerome in any way, as he thinks of himself as "the face of true sanity." he actually has an entire notebook full of jerome's ideas, which he says he will outdo and perfect, thus defeating his brother in the end, which i don't know if i agree with, but whatever.

i think that it's because of the reputation that jerome got at the circus. jeremiah wanted people to think of him as better than jerome and as the perfect child, which he succeeded at. to him, jerome is synonymous with crazy, which i've already mentioned that he hates to be called.

okay, just one more part to talk about. the infamous, much anticipated Mr. J!!!

in the series finale, it is revealed that jeremiah, after falling into a vat of acid, is horribly disfigured and pretends to be in a vegetative state for the whole ten years that bruce is on his quest to improve himself before becoming batman. he does this as a way of waiting for bruce to come back to gotham so he can continue to be obsessed with him.

however, though this is jeremiah, it seems that he has actually gone through immense mental trauma sometime during this time (perhaps during his fall into a vat of chemicals), which has caused him to sort of lose his sense of self. he once says that there was "another me" [another him] once, which is, of course, referring to jerome. this implies that jeremiah sees jerome as an extension of himself, almost, and almost makes it seem as if mr. j is a whole different entity of his own.

thoughts on the fionna and cake ending

-it was a bit boring. ok not Boring just, not on the same level as all the other eps? especially not on the same level as the previous two (the star+jerry). like it was more of a Cake the Cat ep. it was fine just not world shattering and thats fine ig

-that being said the casper&nova scenes were sooooo boring i couldnt care less. it kinda made me feel like they wanted to show shermy and beth but didnt know how so they just made up whatever??? it wouldve been cool to see more of future Ooo instead of. whatever that was. they couldve made the parallel to simon and betty some other way. or even if they absolutely Needed to show thay weird video game they couldve made it like one scene and shorter lol. tho the detail of it had being astrid that started the story was cute

-i actually liked the resolution to betty and simons relationship. again they couldve shown More of it instead of it just having like, one scene, but i liked how they did it. getting them back together in a fairytail Everything Works Out And Theyre Happy Ever After!!!! wouldve completely taken away from how tragic their entire story is, but making something even worse happen wouldve just made simon feel worse and his character development wouldnt.... exist much lol. having simon come to terms with it, SEND HIM TO THERAPY THANK FUCK and try to move on w his life is exactly what i was hoping for

and i looooove how they portrayed their relationship. ive seen ppl be mad ab it but like didnt yall like that is was codependent and insane and they were obsessed w each other to the point theyd destroy their life for one another? OBVIOUSLY its going to be unhealthy. thats not saying simon is a bad person, or that they didnt love each other. they obviously did. simon loved betty more than anything. but he was selfish. unintentionally, yeah, he didnt realize how dependent/obsessed she was with him and that she just went along with anything he did which i dont feel its his fault, but it still happened, and it still affected her, it made her get deeper into that. its a new spin on their relationship that feels really real and i really like that. yeah turns out that when ppl are so obsessed w someone that they go insane and almost destroy the world twice thats probably indicative thay theres something wrong there who wouldve thought!!!!

adventure time is The "people have flaws" show (bonnie, marcy, finn, jake, etc etc all the characters are shown to be selfish sometimes snd to varying degrees! and theyre all still good people! theyre still just people) so it feels a bit insane to see ppl acting like the show saying "simon too btw" means theyre portraying him as irredemably bad

-i didnt want the fionna world to completely change and go back to bein magic but i was at least hoping the characters world :( like a "modern with magic" situation it wouldve been cool. and the farm/baby/vampworld characters coming in felt a bit random but like eh sure whatever

-IM SO PISSED FIONNA DIDNT LOSE HER ARM

-i dont think the lack of resolution in all the universes we visited was a bad thing? like i dont even feel like its "lack or resolution" i just felt like. thats how the stories were meant to be told. we come into a world that has nothing to do with us and then we leave them behind, yk? its not our world so we just pass by and dont know how it ends. leave it up to imagination. i thought it was cool we dont need to know Everything

-we shouldve seen marcy and simon interacting when he got back. even if it was just like a interaction without dialogue in some sort of epilogue sequence theyre so incredibly important to each others story and the show even made sure to show us that and we get nothing????? the lack of a scene where he talks to her about how hes feeling and how he almost put on the crown again felt so!! FRUSTATING. the scene in ep two where he calls her even felt like it was setting up for a scene like that! im so mad we got nothing. like i understand the adventure time market is flooded with marceline so maybe they didnt want to focus on her much but still theyre too linked for that relationship to get completely ignored in the Last Fucking Episode of the show

-the implication of fern/phoebe made me pause the episode and stare at a wall for a moment. auaugh.

Summary: Niko doesn’t want you to leave him on his special day!!!!

a/n: I LITERALLY LOVE WHOEVER SENT THIS SO MUCH 😭 YOU GUYS ARE SOOOO SWEET ITS AMAZING!! BUT ANYWAYS HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKOOOO THIS STORY IS ALSO GONNA BE BASED ON HIS BIRTHDAY! Also keep in mind that this is my first story so please don’t judge if its not good 😭

You had just woken up in yours and Niko’s shared bed. “Today is his birthday” you whispered, making sure he didn’t hear you. You scrolled on your phone making sure you got everything situated for his birthday party. You texted the beta squad and some more of his friends reminding them and making sure they were available for his party.

After you were done with that you shut your phone off and got up to go use the bathroom and get ready for his special day.

You were sitting in the bathroom texting everyone back since you just got done doing your hair. Shuffling across yours and nikos shared room was heard. You looked up from your phone and saw niko walking over to you. “happy birthday, my birthday boy.” you told him while wrapping your arms around his neck to hug and kiss him.

“thank you” he whispered and went to wrap his arms around your waist.

A couple hours later you and niko were out currently eating lunch at some random restaurant talking about what he wanted for his birthday.

“i’ll be right back i have to use the toilet.” you told him while getting up. instead of letting you go niko held onto your hand trying to pull you into him.

“no don’t go” he said instantly pulling you to sit with him. “i’ll go with you if i have to” he stated causing you to chuckle. “please let me go i really have to use it.” you begged to him, yet he still refused to let go. "either you stay or you let me go with you" (🤔) niko whispers to you trapping you beneath his arms making it difficult for you to move.

"can you just wait outside the door or something?" You looked at him still trying to get out his grip. "I wont be able to see you then" he pouts slightly. you cringe at that, finally you get out of his grip and run to the bathroom with him trailing behind you.

"finally" you whispered grabbing your phone to call kenny, discussing the party that he was hosting at his house. After you guys completed calling you open the door to the bathroom and instantly get a bunch of weight thrown on you. Realizing its niko you hug him back eventually letting go.

"youre finally done" he exaggerates and slowly rolls his eyes. "excuse you" you reply back with attitude. "anyways we have to go somewhere but i'm not telling you so lets go." you tell him and then grab his hand dragging him into the car. When you guys get situated you start the car and drive off to kennys.

About 30 minutes later you guys arrived to kennys house and was greeted by everyone. you were holding nikos hand and lead him to a random room that had some seats. Everyone sat down and just started talking with eachother.

as everyone was talking niko turned to you and wrapped an arm around your waist bringing you a little bit closer even tho you guys were literally squished together at this point.

Time skip cause im lazy

Its been about an hour and it was now time to serve the cake. You had tried to get up to turn off all the lights to sing happy birthday but niko had pulled you back into his arm. "Don't leave me again" You chuckled, kissed his cheek and let everyone else do the work while you hugged him and stuck to his side for the rest of the night.

this literally sucks so bad but dont blame me its my first story ever 😭😒 I also sort of rushed it cause it been days since his birthday and I had to get this out asap! Anyways theres gonna be three more fics coming out when I literally feel like doing them. (spoiler alert, all of them are about aj sooooo yeah)

If the demons n all are attracted to the forest due to "supernatural magnetism" you could always say it was supernatural fate that brought them there I guess, I'm thinking butterfly effect-

Like say a creep needs a job, kills someone for their position, is caught out and is on the run, hitchhikes with a random trucker, and they arrive at Tim and Brian's farm, a place to stay AND a job!

That's a shit example but it's just a series of a events that just so happened to bring them to the farm, but really it's just supernatural magnetism pulling them in creating fate or something. And it can obviously be much more detailed (less shit😭) and connected with characters backstories maybe ykyk??

Idk if this sounds dumb asf it sounded better in my head☠️

MMM i do think butterfly effect is how most of the human creeps end up in the story !! jeff, liu, nina, toby, jack, and natalie all ended up in the same area after a series of shitty events (maybe domino effect moreso than butterfly? dunno theyre all confusing to me). tim, brian, sally, and kate just happened to already be there

kinda off topic from what you said but the way i imagine creeped is. ok this is cringe. if i were to make a comic, it would be.... kinda episodic with theres the underlying plot that slowly unravels. , with each creep/ghost/demon having their own episode to reveal backstory. or chapter if its a comic. .? KINDA LIKE GIRL FROM NOWHERE AGAIN (this is my 2nd time mentioning it today lol) and the proxies/toby would be the main character(s) since they work for slender, who is. kinda the 'mastermind' behind all of this.

but the problem is, for the proxies/slender, they dont have much incentive to keep around slasher-type creeps. for jeff, its to keep ben happy. for clocky, its cuz she doesnt cause much trouble and toby heavily vouches for her (slender also knows he needs to keep his proxies relatively content). but beyond those two ? they'd rather just kill helen to get cops off the roads and patrolling their forest. so i imagine all the other killers(bloody painter, x-virus, nathan the nobody) are in different states or. dead .

ofc, the operator would play a huge part in rando killers and everyones backstory webbing together, but im fighting for my life to find a decent way to put everyone together

The floors are glossy, tacky against your heels. The women smell of hair and ointment, gathering in clumps along the walls. Taking up chairs and talking in groups of three or four. You’ve had confirmation of Kyles arrival minutes ago, he’d been screened for weapons, showed ID, the whole thing. You easily tip toe to his side. He had no interest in the communion behind him, shoulders jutting out over the bar top. You make it a point to keep your knees pointed to him, sliding into a backless stool on the right. You had hoped he’d been conversational, jittery even and spewing from the lips. But he said nothing as you unstuck a finger and commanded a glass of fruity whatnot. He’s a smart man, mother must have warned a similar call of stranger danger.

“Gotta name?” Seemingly surprised he shuddered and turned, having ignored you out of respect thus far. “Me?” A dent in his shirt followed finger. “Who else?” He coughed out a smile and turned on the chair to you, dragging the rim of his drink along. “They call me Kyle, thank you,” you smile, looking to the drink now dragged to your front. “You?” He angles forward, pushing up his brow line. “Noir,” hes quick to nod at it, shift back on his axis and throw back some drink.

And he was nice for the most of it, non cooperative at best. it had taken one full life story and a handful of heavy touches to get him to angle his looks. He walks pressed to the hot air on your back, seemingly stupid failing to walk tamely. Kyle says not a word passing your doorframe, letting up to follow you horribly to a dark sharpened bedroom. The lights stay off, easier on you, and as you rub at his sides you poke for the unfriendly silhouette of a silencer or throwing knife. He’s knocking his round lips into your face, throwing them lower and collapsing under the press of alcohol and blood. It makes you smile to some degree. But thats lost knotting up pants in a fever. The sooner you found that fucking hard drive the sooner he’s lying stupid on the floor.

Theres a curt spurt of air that makes noise through your angry teeth. He laughs at it, leaning back into the dark. “Looking for something?” “Belt buckle,” There’s a weird change in his pitch, “Im sure you’re not gonna find the drive in there, baby,” and its silence on your half, following there’s a laugh and quick made excuse. You had no idea what he was talking about, his hand moves in his pocket, you’re just some really rich, really dumb, really horny girl from the bar. Completely unrelated to any events prior or following the disasters of Bristol twelve months ago. There’s a nasty pinch at your thigh, it grows tight and sharp, like a pic being driven into your muscle. As to what it was you drew blanks, left guessing in the dark. Dealer!ellie is so excepted throughout the tumblr fandom as she does smoke weed in the game..

But me personally? Ive only dipped my toes into dealer ellie as since i saw this one tiktok about how the tumblr fandom makes her out to be so tough💀💀💀 ive looked at it differently?

I feel like yes ellie would smoke weed outside of the apocalypse but being a dealer?? Im not sure about that. Ellie is quiet and keeps to her self, indulging in nerdy shit (like me) i PERSONALLY don’t see it but maybe i need to do more research.

I could see myself writing dealer!ellie in the future if it was requested but id 100% make her less… money flexing on snapchat story dealer and more dealing to friends and friends of a friends kind of dealer yk? One that keeps it on the down low!

Why do i think it works so well?

Well… idk bout yall but i can assume at least one of you has had a crush on a dealer in the past.. also ellie is legit a mass murderer so dealing is acceptable to her modern non apocalypse au character. I think alot of people like the rebellious troupe of character as it is attractive

As with all different kinds of au’s we attach to characters (dbf!, dealer!, college!) it’s fantasy!! We can all get behind a well written fantasy! Plus the intoxication and lust works so well together, being with someone you lust after can be intoxicating so added to a substance makes it even more intense.

Really to sum it up, i think the extreme of the illegalness, drugs and lust makes it so desirable!

After you read a good fic with a troupe like dealer!ellie you search for others with the same troupe i think thats why it works well!

With the popularity theres a even better rounded character to this troupe of ellie

Also my bias opinion on this is even though we dont see abby ever smoke weed in the game i feel like she would be a dealer just for the connections and money.

ummm okay cant think of much from descriptions so mostly basics

1) do they try to solve the great problem? iterator ascension? secret third thing? dont care about any of that? what are they up to day to day

2) whats their opinion or theories on whole deal with sliver (if theyre aware)

and 3) what do they think of ancients in general or maybe just their citizens. what were their citizens like. how were they affected by mass ascension

4) were they made for basic solving the problem and getting resources or theres some other story behind them being built (like pebbles yk. or maybe they have extra purpose like medical facility?)

5) heyyyy any reason for their names you can tell about ^_^

6) whats the profit you mention in RA’s

out of the 3 of them, east-facing pillars is probably the hardest at work on the problem, he still spends most of his energy on it. many rocks orbit wants to work hard on the problem but cant really motivate themself to, so mostly they spend their time idling, watching random animals and playing games. reluctant abstinence started out enthusiastic about iterating but lost interest pretty quickly and now doesn't really care anymore

abstinence thinks she found a way out but doesn't want to pursue that route herself; rocks can't really decide but does suspect she found a solution that was dangerous somehow; pillars thinks she straight up died normally and the signal was unrelated

all 3 actually had pretty decent relationships with their creators, although like most iterators they found them annoying a lot of the time. east-facing pillars was probably the most exhausted of them, and resents a lot of ancient religion and ideology as a result. rocks was terrified by mass ascension and didnt want to be left alone, caring for their citizens gave them purpose. abstinence is outwardly uncaring about ancients but has a lot of repressed feelings of abandonment for them i think

rocks and pillars were built pretty standard, but abstinence has a state-of-the art medical facility! as a much newer model, it has a lot of bells and whistles

tbh i came up with the names a long time before they became ocs, i just have a long list of potential iterator names and picked ones i liked lol

abstinence is fascinated with intelligent creatures because it believes scavengers specifically will be the next great civilization and wants to speed up the process (not for any particular reason like replacing her parents or anything why would she do that Lol). she also just loves creatures and wants to understand them all!

"GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS I FOUND IT I FOUND IT" seokmin yelled. apparently, while mingyu was trying to bribe you and minghao to do something else... seokmin recklessly went hunting for the key, and was successful.

"WHAT" you yelled. seokmin proudly equipped the key as you stared in shock.

"never knew we'd be this determined for a roblox game.." minghao started.

"hao if you dont shut your bitchass rn" mingyu said. finally, you all planned to quickly get the last butterfly spirit.

after a good 15 minutes of screaming, yelling, running, swearing and everything. you all successfully managed to escape that hell hole... slowly realizing theres more.

"PHEW.... wait." seokmin said as you were teleported somewhere else.

the room suddenly filled with pure silence and painful realization.

"anyone up for pizza?" you said, defeated.

everyone agreed and left the game almost immediately.

So this one time, when I was in kindergarten, and I really had to piss like, really really bad, and it was recess time so I couldn't just go to the bathroom, so I had to ask one of the coaches to go (I remember this like it was yesterday) - My recess teachers name was Mr. Mario, okay? And he was currently being swarmed by little shit kids who were punching and kicking and fucking him up. Never knew kindergarteners could be so violent. But I was desperate and dumb and went into the crowd not realizing how bad it was or what damage they were doing, and bc I went into the crowd, I got blamed for attacking the teacher along w some other kids, and I had to desperately plead my innocence in Kindergarten Detention or whatevrr ots called time out? idk. And they wouldn't let me go to the bathroom until my mom came and picked me up so I ended up pissing myself on the ride home.

My second story is about a pool. So, I used to live at an apartment complex and there was a public pool there, and people could like, sneak into the apartment residency and sneak into the pool free of charge right, and so this one preteen boy did that and was there illegally/against the rules of the apartment complex, this is important for later in the story. But we were all swimming and fucking around and having fun, when all of a sudden this kid said "Hey wanna see something cool" and this motherfucker got out of the water, pulled his pants down shot his ass in the air over the water edge and shit in the pool. I'm talking full nine yards kneeling in perfect projectile positioning with his bare buttcheeks out and boom shit in the water, and everyone went running out of the water. And naturally since everyone was out of the water, and now theres shit in the pool, me and some other kids had to go get the people in the office of the apartments and they had to get the janitor to clear out the pool of shit w a net and drain the pool of its water and shit and like. The kid was looonngg gone at this point but it became a specific rule that this kid was BANNED from the apartment complex and if he ever to return he would be in trouble w the cops or smth apparently

My third story is a story about a festival. So me and my dad and mom were at a festival called the strawberry festival in Florida yk the drill, and I really, really like this one spinny circle ride that goes w the music and like goes in a circle its kind of like a musical ride? But anyways, I was hyperfixated on this ride so the entire time we were there I rode this ride AT LEAST. AT LEAASST 20 times, and my mom was with me for, a majority of itxbut eventually she was getting sick and dizzy so dad took over, and dad insisted to be on the outside of the ride for some fucking reason and he had his phone in his pocket (heres the thing.) - His phone was facinf SCREEN. OUT. in his pocket. SCREEN OUT... and he was on the outside of the ride. So naturally, every turn, he was being smashed into the rides metal door side, and by several rounds on this ride, he went to check the time and saw his phone screen was absolutely demolished and shattered to bits, so he forced me and my mom to leave the festival bc he was panickin so bad and needed it replaced right then and there. ☺

Was that good was that entertaining for u

hai anon!! gege akutami really loves his buddhism references and it shows in multiple ways in the jujutsu kaisen series, be it by just slamming the references into names or through the story telling and parallels in the story, i wont be covering all of em since yk theres way too much to cover. but here some ive compiled in one sitting:

(also excuse bad punctuation and formatting or whatever, as i said im doing this in one sitting and rushing ALOT)

i wanna talk abt gojo since im kinda obsessed w him lately due to the new season, so lets start w him.

gojo is pictured as a bodhisattva:

besides his first name literally meaning enlightenment, we know that in the hidden inventory arc, after getting his ass handed to him by toji, he is 'reborn' (yk, when he brought himself back from near death w RCT). he reached enlightenment and found + understood the core of jujutsu which led his rebirth as the TRUE strongest (like when the buddha reached enlightenment by understanding the core of dhamma and it marks the change from his previous life as siddhartha gautama to the buddha).

and as we all know, in the scene where he awakens, he utters the words "throughout heaven and earth, i alone am the honored one" 天上天下唯我独尊; which the buddha famously said while pointing to the heavens and the earth, after being birthed. (gojo does point both hands tht way, but finger wise he only points to the earth, not the heavens idk)

now i say he's more like a bodhisattva and not a buddha because of a certain detail, while the buddha became the enlightened one and ascended to nirvana (meaning he's free from the cycle of rebirth) he's more like a bodhisattva in which he does indeed become enlightened, just that instead of freeing himself from the cycle of rebirth, he chooses to spread his knowledge and continues teaching (the way becomes a teacher in order to raise new jujutsu sorcerers)

if anyone were to be the buddha it would be tengen, master tengen founded the jujutsu community, teaches sorcerers about jujutsu and is regarded as a deity (by some).

despite being a highly respected individual, tengen is not a much of a fighter, she's more of a teacher and is respected for their high knowledge on jujutsu

master tengen is also immortal, yet not able to exist in the outside world, instead tengen exists inside of the barriers they created (to mantain their self awareness and not yk go insane and destroy the world), which acts as a different realm. this might be a reference to how the Buddha is somewhat immortal yet not really, he lives on in his teachings (dhamma) and his students.

if tengen is the buddha, that would make kenjaku Devadatta, siddharta gautama's cousin and (self proclaimed) buddha's archenemy. i could say more but thats a story for another day.

buddhism references in the power system of jujutsu:

one of them is the etymology behind mahito's cursed technique, Idle Transfiguration - 無為転変 (Mui Tenpen)

the Mui means something along the lines of unchanging/absolute, yet it's also translated into idleness.

— on reddit someone said 無為転変 means to mutate the idleness of human affairs/to mutate the natural order, but idrk take what u will with this

in buddhism, there's a phrase called 有為転変(Ui Tenpen) which means impermanence / change, so his cursed technique is basically the opposite of the natural order

his domain expansion's name (self embodiment of perfection) has a certain buddhist ring to it i feel lol, besides that, the form of his domain might also be a reference to the thousand-armed thousand-eyed Guanyin Bodhisattva.

besides mahito, jogo and dagon's domain also have certain references in their naming (jogo's iron mountain refers to Mount Meru, which is often mentioned in buddhism and hinduism. the word 'Skandha' in dagon's basically means the factors that cause attachment)

the hand signs the characters do when casting a domain expansion are mudras; hand seals used in buddhism and hinduism(? i think), you'd often see them on statues/arcas, they're usually used during prayers (i think the most well know and the most used one is anjali mudra). for more you can check tempenensis's post, i love their posts alot LOL

there's also the whole thing about mahoraga (+ the other 10 shadows shikigamis), sukuna, toji, etc. but that would take too long and im writing this all in one go before i go to a family dinner so…
