Warnings: I don't think there are any. This is mostly just fluff and comfort!

Phoenix, as we see in the movie with Rooster, cares about her friends, especially when she can tell they're not feeling right. Her approach to comfort may seem too practical to some, but it's who she is.

♠️Natasha Trace

"Talk to me."

She wants to hear how you're feeling/what you're thinking. That way she can decide on the best course of action. Slightly solution-focused and will give you pep-talks. Also strikes me as someone who offers physical affection as comfort on occasion: tight hugs that feel like they're stitching your pieces back together, an affectionate hair ruffle, a firm back rub. She's a solid force, and that on its own is soothing. You have her in your corner, and you know she'll always be there for you!

One of the things I really loved about Anna's character is that she was no-nonsense but also very sympathetic. She's the person you call at 1 AM, knowing she'll be awake and more importantly, that she will really listen.

She's smart about dealing with people's emotions and is very easy to spill your guts to. Is it partly because it's a skill she's learned on the job? Maybe. Will listen to you, asking just the right questions to prompt you along when you're struggling to make sense of something. After ranting to her and feeling relieved, she would probably take you somewhere to get a bite to eat. If it's too late, she'll come over with take-out.

Cora wanted a family for as long as she could remember, someone to care for and get cared for by in return. Having you as her best friend is like having the little sister she always wanted. That includes rushing to you if you ever need her.

She'll sit with you in darkness with a funny rom-com playing in the background if that's what you need, your head on her shoulder, her arm around you. Cora is someone who definitely plays with your hair, and you often find little braids after a movie night. If you don't want to talk, she's still happy to be there for you. Will often do the talking herself in those cases: "Listen to me, I know you might not want to talk about what's upsetting you, but I'm here for you, whether that's tomorrow or in a week." If someone's really hurt or upset you, she is rocking up to their house with her badge and all, and having a very serious talk with them.

She cares. A lot. She cares that you know she'll always be there for you because she didn't always have that. Physical touch and words of affirmation are the main tools in her arsenal.

And trust me, you do not want to be on the receiving end of her glare.
