JOKES ON YOU I didnt make a Tumblr until October 2017, right around Jameson's creation :) I wasn't here for the Summer Antipocalypse. I got IN to the community during ONW but "blew up" just before/during Mayhem

Honestly though, I think the reason why I always believe you were there for that summer is because I usually associate you with KJSE. Between all your Henrik and Anti posting, my mind just firmly plants you in that era. Even if you weren't actually there, you were there in spirit in my heart <33

With that in mind, it was probably your Corrupted Chase theory that got me to follow you then. I was reblogging and following people like mad during Mayhem, especially around Dark Silence. However we found each other, I'm glad we did :]

before i go to bed, for some reason I didnt get a notification from tumblr like i usually do (i guess they forgot lol) but today’s the 10 year anniversary of me being on tumblr!

originally I started out over on @smolidraws as a little superwholock/multifandom blog, and then roughly 3 years later i created this blog originally as a markiplier/jse sideblog but now it’s the one i’ve been on the longest and the one im (kinda??) the most known for haha.

from mishpocalypse to antipocalypse, almost going to dashcon to getting to meeting people ive come to know online at pax east, to getting more comfortable posting my art, theories, shitposts etc, it’s been fun ride ^^.

admittedly i dont get as personal here as i used to be, but i guess ill use this little post to thank ya guys for being here for however long you’ve been around ^-^. it’s honestly really nice and tbh really, really cool to get to interact with the communities im in (especially the jse community) through sharing my long rambles and the things i’ve create. 

and while im a bit of a shyish person still, i really appreciate the couple of people ive been able to get to talk to and know over the years cos of this website. i have a lot of fond memories spending time in discord servers together, dming and reblogging during exciting ego times, having someone to lend an ear to when needed (especially when college was driving me mad) and vice versa, and im really happy that i had a chance to do so with yall :)

ill probably make a better post next year when this blog specifically hits 8 years and when im not sleep deprived lol, but 10 is a doozy to be on this dumpster fire of a site (/lh), so might as well celebrate a tiny bit ^-^. love you guys <3

p.s.  for the few people who are somehow still here from the very, very beginning (if there are any still out there i think like 2/3 of the 900ish people on my old blog are either spam or long deactivated lol) i definitely really appreciate yall for sticking around for so long and hope you stick along for more too :).

On this day in 2019... May 21

Notice how I said 2019 this time. It’s the one year anniversary of the Discord Incident! Yeah, Ik what Jack said recently, but I still just wanna reminisce, for old times sake. Man, I remember when this first went down. I wasn’t in the server myself, but my friends @princess-septica224 and @projectpma were and they sent us these screenshots and we lost our shit. I left the last Maypocalypse entry off with a cliffhanger, and this is why. The egos are clearly keeping secrets from us. Why else would Jackie and Marvin try to tell the others to “shut up!” and “that’s enough.” We still have 0 clue as to what they were talking about, except there’s a possibility Chase could’ve been injured again. I’m not gonna get into the details, because of the grey area people have been bringing up, and nobody wants drama. I know the egos just want us protected, but haven’t we seen lots already? And it seems to me that JJ didn’t want no part in this at all. Idk. Just spewing my thoughts, again. I just feel worried about my bois, these days. It seems like there’s always something concerning going on with them (*cough cough* Anti. *cough cough*). All I hope is that they’re ok, somehow. Of course, this was more great storytelling from Jack so kudos to him! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Its gone folks

Hey everyone? Well, you know all the zalgo on the ego art week posts? Yah. that's all gone. for the most part. Let me show you what I mean. Let's start from the beginning.

There was nothing to find on the ego art week announcement post. 

Let's have a look at JJ’s post. Every hint of zalgo has been removed. His name and tag have also been bolded. 

Remember the panic about Jackie’s post? Well, almost all of the Zalgo has been eradicated. The ‘b; in ‘jackieboy’ is still zalgoed. this is also the only post in which the name and the tag are bolded and italicized.

Marvin’s is the same. Name and tag bolded, the entirety of the zalgo completely gone. The ‘a’ in ashes is still zalgoed.

Chase’s post also has a tiny bit of zalgo left on it. The ‘e’ in ‘least’ still has zalgo.

Another interesting thing is that the Poof at the end of the ego art week announcement post is bolded.

So in summary, the leftover zalgo is the letters ‘a’, ‘b’, and ‘e’. The names of each ego are bolded along with their tags. In Jackie’s case, his name and tag are bold and italicized. 

EDIT: So, last time i checked, least was not that zalgoed?

5 years today, and some glitches that kicked off the start of the entire Summer Antipocalypse.

Sparrow, I can't have you goading the two sides of my brain into a fight. This is cruelty of the highest nature. /lh

You know what, let's go with the egos since I've talked at length about the DSMP tonight, and frankly, with how my dormant interest in the JSE community seems to finally be breaking out of its slumber, I deserve to go off about at least one of our beloved boys. And of course, with him basically knocking the Bastard off his pedestal as my favorite ego, I'm going to talk about Chase. Because goddamn, do I love him.

For a character whose introductory (and originally only planned) video was a Dude Perfect parody, he has developed into such a beloved character through the creativity and love of the community that it led to Seán himself designating him as the protagonist for the story he wishes to create. And honestly, while Anti had already shown up thrice, and Henrik had a couple videos, I truly think it was Chase that altered both the community's and Seán's perspective of the egos forever. While theories, fics, and fanart had bloomed during each of Anti's appearances, it wasn't until Chase appeared that the community's love for the egos skyrocketed. We had a character we could either use to confront or as a victim for Anti (without feeling weird about writing Jack), and with his advent came the rise of other ego content as well. Henrik and Jackie got more time in the spotlight, Marvin got his name, the Summer Antipocalypse and Kill JSE exploded, and JJ arrived to complete the canon set.

Over the five years I've written Chase, he's developed into such an fascinating, integral character for me. He's one of the characters I can say with certainly has helped me develop as a writer, and I don't think I'll ever be able to truly explain how important he is to me to someone who wasn't there to witness the journey. I'm so excited for whatever Seán and Magpie have planned for his story, and even if it doesn't fit my preconceived notions of his character, well--that's what AUs and the worlds of all the stories I've created before are for. No matter what, I will always hold a piece of him in my heart. 💚

(And hey, if anything I wrote happens to become canon, well... needless to say I will lose my shit. /lh)
