I used to follow you here when I was reallyyyy active in the fandom, always on top of everything. But being on twitter made me realise how much of my time and life I was wasting away on social media. Then suddenly life got busy last year and I took an impromptu break from all my socials and completely fell out of the circle. 2 days ago I decided to read y&b again on a whim and I realised just HOW MUCH I MISSED EVERYTHING!!!! It led me to watching an update video of larry on yt and I FOUND OUT HARRY HAS A NEW STUNT NOW?? LIKE CMON!!!!! I genuinely never thought I would fall so out of touch with the fandom. Ig there's still a part of me that really likes staying out of the drama and the pr and just wants to enjoy their music without delving too deep into anything, but I missed this too. So ofc I made a new tumblr account and followed you first haha!! I'm never (hopefully) going back on twitter now. I want to just be a tumblr larrie for life lol.

That being said,, this'll sound weird buttttt ummmm as a maybe big sister can you pretty please give me a few tips on how to stay updated on everything and not waste my life away on social media? 😭

It's nothing like twitter or tiktok, but you also need to be careful with tumblr btw 🤧🤧 Anyways, I'm happy you were able to step away and now you're looking for a more "healthy" approach with social media.

But I don't know how I can help you, I think just following the right people around here who also match your vibe. Like people that you know that they will be posting updates without making a big drama out of it, and with a quick scroll you can take everything in. People usually don't like following "discussion blogs" like mine because of that sometimes, which is very understandable. Now I've been mostly inactive for the past 6 months, but I always talked about stunts and stuff like that on my blog, and that can be super draining and time-consuming for myself and for others reading it. So it was very good for me to step away and completely ignore stunts and any other stupidities that were happening, and I plan to stay like this for a while because for me is not worth it. I didn't exactly feel like I was "wasting my time" here or on social media in general, but I definitely felt like I was worried about stuff that simply didn't matter and I could use that time better. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a mix of a new brand relationship, a possible joint campaign, promo for her play and for her in general, promo for Harry beyond tour and a het image in one, and pairing him (friends, colleagues, ‘relationship’ whatever) with the complete opposite of Olivia Wilde, while at the same time also shutting her (pathetic attempts to connect herself to him) down 🙃 in an ideal world he’d just end his hyper successful tour and then be in peace for a while but this is a (homophobic) show business world and he’s undoubtably the biggest male singer at the moment. The game will be played until it isn’t anymore. Hopefully one day 🙏

Anons trying to find a lot of explanations for why they wouldn't be on cover together. I just think it wouldn't happen because what are they even going to talk about on said interview? How much they love Loewe clothes? Tell their supposed love story? They have not been together long enough, aparently since like June according to the oficial narrative. Worse, according to deuxmoi, that TR's team suppossedly has connections to, at the end of July they were not even exclusive and Harry was still seeing other girls and they were still only just having fun? So, I ask myself again, what would they even try to sell? That Harry is a playboy but loves her so much that he stopped seeing his other gazzilion of women for her? Or will they tell us that what they have in common is liking do marathons around London? Or will they say they love Lime bikes? What would even be the so interesting story that the world cannot live without that would justify the editor of Vogue giving them a cover?

But no worries, one thing we know is that deuxmoi will have a blind item in less than no time to tell us who will be on that cover, they also did that when it was olivia.

Oh, you know i don't think their respective spin doctors would have any issue with coming up with a tale, based on old known info, a couple of private anecdotes about a common interest or a cat story. It depends on if harry's side has an agenda. He might be bold and talk queerbaiting to address billy porter? It might also be more her interview, she's got a show and an upcoming movie to promote. Harry might give an exclusive about his coming plans or talk about memories from tour. It's just gonna be pagefill to go with the pics. Unless they want a specific thing out there.

May I ask about this opinion? Not to argue, just wondering what you mean? For me he´s still very much closeted so every woman he stunts with is also a beard. But I get all women including the current one make this stunt deal to boost their career so he´s basically giving them the platform, right? I´m just wondering what you meant with massage certain other aspects of his image? Maybe when he moved from models to actresses is him trying to break through in the movie industry?

Oh, I absolutely agree that he still closeted. I just meant that in the earlier years, when he was still in the band, the main thing they seemed to be trying to do was say he’s straight, and he dates models. It raised his profile a bit and it made him look “cool and sexy to people who think that way about men who date models. Swiftie and Kendall were mainly to raise his profile as they were more famous in America when he dated them.

These days, his PR relationships seem to have a different focus. Obviously, they still make it look like he dates women. But, Camille was to give him a story to tie his album to, and she was his first “long-term girlfriend“ so that seemed to be a step towards changing the story that he was a womanizer. Olivia was, I think, originally supposed to be a step towards connecting him to the film industry (dating a Director/actress), and was also to show that he could play the PR game when it came to advertising whatever movies he might be cast in. And maybe, too, it was originally going to be another woman to tie an album to (although he clearly side-stepped that. Thank god). The whole thing was a disaster, but I think those were the original intentions. TR I haven’t quite made my mind up about. The relationship does seem to be fixing some of the issues with his image: holivia was an obvious PR stunt and literally everyone hated her. Harry’s fans who like seeing him with women love Hussell and see it as a return to the “low key” nature of Hamille which was the relationship many fans look to as being “real”. It also ticks off the box of soothing those who complain he only dates skinny, blonde, white women. And she’s a “serious” actress, so it still keeps one foot in that world.

So, yeah. In a way, they’re all beards. But I don’t think that’s the main focus these days.

IGNTR Headcanons

The IGNTR team are a tight nit family team, despite having a tough exterior. Ray and Gale gets massive headaches trying to make sure their pities and racer don't cause any trouble. Especially Laura and Jackson.

One of the IGNTR’s bosses, Carl Hussell, was determined to have Jackson be the number one racer and beat Lightning McQueen (for both personal and business reasons), that he have Jackson do massive amounts of training.

Only Ray and Gale interact with other teams. The pities and Jackson don’t really interact with the other teams until after the 2017 Piston Cup Championship.

After winning the 2017 Piston Cup Championship, the team celebrated in an arcade that Jackson would go to before he started racing.

Jackson Storm:

Is Japanese-American, with his mother being American and his father Japanese. Is the youngest in the family with two older siblings.

Use to work in the arcade Ray found him at before entering online racing competitions.

Gotten into physical fights and chases with other arcade players. Sometimes the police would get involve, but they never could catch Storm.

Made friends in the arcade, despite all of them wanting to act like their were just acquaintances. Jackson mentally kicked himself when he realizes that he didn't correct Ray when the truck called his friends "friends."

Jackson - despite having trust issues - values loyalty and trust. It's just gonna take awhile for him to warm up to strangers, even longer if they're the competition.

Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez were the only racers Jackson ever trash talk to during races. He doesn't interact with any of the other racers (both veteran and next-gen) until much later.

Jackson can play dirty, especially when pushed to the edge, but he ain't no cheater. If you're paired up with him, and he finds out you cheated, he's not going to cross that finish line for you.

Ray Reverham:

Ray was Jeff’s crew chief before the racer retired and became a sports journalist.

Despite being grateful that IGNTR for hiring him and Jackson, he doesn’t always follow what they say and IGNTR can't really fired him because if Ray goes, then Jackson goes.

After leaving Mr. Biggs, Ray was planning to let Jackson get more free time from training, but IGNTR wanted their racer to be the best as fast as possible despite his objections.

Whenever Jackson or any of the pit crew members messes up big time, he'll have them mop the floors of the IGNTR headquarters for weeks.

After Jackson rammed Cruz to the wall. Ray have Jackson not only mop the IGNTR headquarters floors, but took away his gaming privileges for a month.

The more he trained Jackson, the more he noticed that the racer may have mental health issues than he realizes.

Despite not being his crew chief, Ray is happy that Tim Treadless made it to the racing world.

Gale Beaufort:

The mom of the group who tends to be the one who gives life advice for the team. Even Ray comes to her for advice from time to time.

She the most social of the group and would converse with the other haulers. She even formed a close bond with Mack.

She values her appearance, she just likes being shinny. The team gives her good products to help her fell happy.

One time she wanted to go to a mall and accidentally took Jackson with her. It took Jackson suddenly asking why there were there for Gale to realize she forgot Jackson was still in the trailer. He still teases her about it to this day.

Laura Spinwell and the pities:

Laura Spinwell is the phone addicted, main mechanic of the pities. She is also highly arrogant about being the smartest one of the team who is rarely wrong about anything.

Knows about 95% of racing history, which benefits Jackson, who needs to keep up the “always been a racing fan” image for the press.

Done massive amounts of research on racing tricks that's been done in history. One racing trick she’s research was the 360 flip, but due to the trick never having documented success, she concluded that it was “scientifically” impossible (Laura never consulted with the IGNTR scientists if this trick was possible) and it was just a myth.

Whenever Jackson messes up, Laura would go up to him and do the “idiot sandwich” bit. Jackson and Laura made a deal that if she was ever wrong about anything, he'll get to call her an idiot sandwich for a month. (Laura Spinwell was called an idiot sandwich for a month after the Florida 500 race.)

Laura would have her fellow pities eavesdrop the other teams, while she focuses on their social media accounts. She needs to know if there’s any rumors, drama, or schemes going on for her team. She’s frustrated that almost none of the new Dinoco members (except for Cruz) have any accounts for her to follow.

They all tend to go behind Jackson, Ray, or Gale for protection whenever they get trouble with the other teams. Mostly Jackson, because he doesn’t really ask questions.

this has been stirring in my little witch mind all morning:

wife! reader knows what nanami does for a living, and is chill w it.

BUT, reader goes on a business trip, and encounters some curses while on their own, instead of getting saves, reader grabs a pipe or something and just beats the curses to death, calling nanami after, uncaring of their saftey.

reader is basically "bro you fight those on the DAILY??" while nanami is panicking due to reader having blood all over them, most of which is probably not theirs

Nanami would marry in his job only if you can defend yourself. And this is because he can go on missions with a little less guilt than he usually does lmao. He knows he can't always talk himself out of missions, and because he doesn't want to panic every time he has to go to work, I am sure he has taught you some things to keep yourslef safe.

But there are times where you have to travel for work, and most times you can't bring a plus one. It's not like he wants to follow you either - he respects you hussel and doesn't want to get involved in what you're doing unless you want him too.

So no matter how worried he is, he keeps it to himself as he drops you off in front of your office with some pastries and your favourite drink; reminding you to be safe as he presses a loving kiss against your lips. He tries not to think about the danger - or really think of any danger, really.

You'll only be away for a few days. There is no way you'd be attack.

That was what he was thinking - until he got a call from you; sounding winded and annoyed as you complained about having to use a pipe to beat a Curse up. You had seen a few Curses that Nanami fights, but had never personally come into contact with one. But because you can see them, and you were their chosen 'victim' for the day. Bad choice on the Curse's end.

Nanami had never rushed over as fast as he can (Gojo had conviniently been asked to check the scene out, and bc of Nanami's desperation, offered to bring him along). He was horrified to see you covered in Curse juices, and had rushed over to check over you to make sure you were not hurt whilst Gojo went around examining the scene and covering you in his jacket after taking off yours.

He was honestly relieved that you were fine, even as you were whining and pouting about the fact that the Curse ruined your clothes and shoes. He will literally buy you everything you want as long as you keep yourself safe and sound, and to never do that again.

Sam: his mother’s death is always his darkest nightmare. he knows its coming soon and one of these days he’s just gonna wake up and she’ll be gone.

Lucian: his (s/o) or friends sexually assaulting him. he ofc has nightmares about his stepfather’s abuse more often, but the darkest nightmares always originate from the thought that they would betray him like that too.

7. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Thomas: anything. if thomas hall wants something, he’s gonna get it. there’s no doubt in my mind that he would commit mass genocide just for a fucking soda. the thing about thomas is that he doesn’t take no for an answer - take that as you will.

Evelyn: honestly, if she can’t have it, she’ll be fine with it. unless it’s a very dire need, she’ll drop it sooner or later. but if it’s something that pertains her well-being or condition…well…a few heads might roll.

Sam: very persistent. not for physical things, but emotional. he could care less if he didn’t get some shoes he wanted. now to have riley’s eyes on him? anything in the world will do for a sacrifice. <3

Lucian: oh he’s persistent alright. if he doesn’t get something minuscule he wants, he’ll be okay with that. but if it’s something dire, something he truly needs, his sweetheart mentality suddenly becomes a bit tainted. depending on what it is, some people may or may not make it out alive.

Thomas: his mother. there’s no other competition.

Evelyn: thomas lmao. not only does she hate him as a person, but she hates his fake persona that he puts up so people don’t know what kind of monster he really is.

This has definitely been asked before, but your thoughts on Twilight? Eclipse gives me just enough vamp on wolf action to be passable, but all the other movies are not my cup of tea at all. What do you think of it's lore regarding vampires and werewolves? Sparkling or no sparkling? "Imprinting" on babies or no?

The last two are rhetorical, of course. Bleh.

I have a complicated relationship with this franchise.

Let me paint a picture. The year was 2007. I was a 13 year old Weird Kid (TM) with a side hussel as a very budget Spooky Girl (TM). My friend (a much cooler, higher budget Spooky Girl) tells me to read this vampire book she found. I do. It's okay. It's fun! I like the eerie small town vibes and the romance is so ridiculously over the top, it reminds me of all those classical love stories. The best part though? The bad guy. I loved the evil vampire. He was just so unapologetically evil. A+++. I wish he hadn't been killed off quite so quickly.

I distinctly remember googling this book and seeing pictures of the sunset. I had to scroll to find the author website and read that a movie was in the works. This was very much before Twilight exploded... but the gunpowder had already been lit.

I read the second book. I actually like this one more. Sure, the romance takes a backseat but I like the horror, the empathetic portrayal of depression and... well...

Werewolves.

Then book three happened and... I have issues with this book. I thought book 3 would be a werewolves vs vampires book... but it isn't really.

The movies started happening and I just didn't really vibe with them.

Book 4 came out and I hated it.

It all just sort of crashed and burned for me. I was also older by this point and more aware of the less pleasant stuff in the books (i.e. the racism).

There are still things I like about it. The small town, the creepy vampires, the cgi wolves, the drama... plus there is some pretty good fanfic out there, or there used to be.

But, in the end, I feel like it didn't really go all the way for me.
