Salutations, 

Without even realizing it I started wishing you would stay longer and longer; I couldn’t stop myself from thinking that today. I was so enchanted by you throughout our time together to the point I didn’t want the day to end. Creating little bunnies out of snow and seeing the snowmen glisten in the snow warmed my heart. For the past few days, I’ve been burnt out from my lack of skills. However, standing beside you in the snow made me feel at ease. With you beside me I was able to feel the relaxing wind and put the past behind me. The areas where I once lacked are no more as I step forward towards change. "Oh, what's this?" A long tress of black and red fall across your shoulder, a head peaking out from behind you with a fanged smile. You resist the urge to yelp as you see Lilia's face come into view, surprising you once again, as he was wont to do.

"Were you searching for me, Hana?" Lilia's voice is a tad deeper than what you had been used to for all those years at NRC, and you can't say you've gotten used to his original height, either. A blush rushes across your cheeks as you nod, happy to see him.

"Kufufu, it was rude of me to keep you waiting for so long." He chuckles, spinning you around to face him. The red highlights in his hair beautifully bounce off his raspberry red eyes, a whirlpool of light that you easily find yourself lost in.

Lilia takes your hand and places it against his cheek. His eyes never leaves yours. "I'm pleased you're here for me. I would do the same... I would spend eternity searching for you if it meant I could be by your side. Thank you."

As much as she loved her engine room with its symphony of sounds and the movement of all the pistons and gears, Ikkaku always appreciated when she could get some work done on the Polar Tang’s deck. The fresh air felt wonderful in her lungs, the sunshine was warm on her skin, and the openness of the blue sky was freeing in a way she could never quite put into words. And while the hum and clang of the engine would always put her at ease, the dull roar of the sea was soothing in its own way, like white noise that drowned out the cares of the world.

So she wasn’t expecting an unfamiliar voice to join the calls of seabirds and the rolling waves. The sudden arrival made her jump, though thankfully years of experience kept her hands steady enough to not accidentally yank out the wires she had been fiddling with. Looking over to where the voice had come from, she quickly realized she must have flown onto the ship, and was definitely some kind of bird zoan. Had the flapping of the seagulls masked her arrival?

Well, she seemed nice enough, and if she’d wanted to attack the Hearts, she wouldn’t have announced herself. And if she was trouble, they were surrounded by water. Put the Devil Fruit user at a disadvantage if things went south.

“Sure, you can rest here,” Ikkaku replied, attaching the last of the wires she’d been replacing. Oil was wiped from her hands as she devoted her full attention to the visitor. “Hope you don’t mind me asking your name, though; my captain would be pissed if I invited someone onto the ship who hadn’t introduced herself. you wave as your fan leaves, grinning widely as you prepare for the next person. you adjust the tiara on your head, fidgeting with it due to its trivial size—probably because it was originally a decorative toy intended for a five year old. 

“hello!” you charmingly greet the next fan. he introduces himself as sunghoon, and you begin signing his album.

your smile grows as he stumbles over his words, obviously nervous to be in such close proximity to you. 

you keep your eyes and attention focused on him as you keep writing. it wasn’t hard when you had done it hundreds of times (not to mention that he was strikingly handsome.)

sunghoon looks down bashfully, “i’ve been a really big fan of yours since your debut,” he pauses, and you nod encouragingly at him to continue. 

he swears your eyes sparkle with all the stars in the galaxy. 

sunghoon takes a deep breath. he recited this too many times—imagined your breathtaking face in front of him too many times to mess up now. 

while listening and writing diligently, you feel the tiara on your head begin to slip. you really wanted to finish getting the next words down on the page, but you feel it slowly slide. 

“i just wanted to say that i will always support you. i hope you stay happy and healthy-“

however, before you can, you feel a warm hand shoot out to steady the tiara. your hand touches his immediately after, also in an attempt to adjust the crown.  

sunghoon’s concerned eyes bore into you as he mutters something. 

“s-sorry?”

sunghoon doesn’t say anything. instead, he whispers a soft, forgive me but- 

and a hand of his softly brushes the stray hairs out of your face. he gently fixes your hair that got slightly tousled when the tiara fell. 

it almost felt like he was caressing you, with his warm gaze so focused on you and only you. 

your heart skips a beat. you blink once, twice. 

“i’m really sorry, that was bothering me. i just like tidying and organizing things, you know, i appreciate clean and pure things- like you.”

he immediately stops. 

eyes widening, your can’t stop the flush that comes to your face. 

“w-wait, no, that came out-“

“that’s… the first time anyone’s ever told me that.” 

you giggle, and sunghoon melts at the sound. 

as his time with you comes to an end by the signal of your manager, he can’t help but feel fulfilled. he made you smile. he was the one that made you laugh so blissfully. 

later he’ll go home and scream silently about it, jump and prance around his room, probably. then he’ll go look back at the pictures he took of you and pray someone caught the moment on video. 

as sunghoon walks off, he catches a glimpse of the message you wrote into his album. he can’t help but let the fanboy in him out a little, a squeak escaping his mouth.
