“What’s going on? You’re acting… weirder than normal,” Jess asked, hopping up to sit on the counter as Y/N rolled out cookie dough. “And what’s with all the rainbow shit?”

“Language, Jess,” Y/N scolded, rolling her eyes.

“I’m seventeen, when are you going to stop?” She asked.

“When you stop being my baby,” Y/N smiled at her, gently patting her cheek. Jess smiled at her mother and swiped a ball of cookie dough, popping it into her mouth.

“Anyway, what’s going on?”

“Oh right - well for one, your sister’s coming home for the weekend, remember?”

“No,” Jess said, furrowing her brows. “Why?”

“Because Sam’s bringing his boyfriend over for dinner,”

“Ah.. that explains the, um, rainbows,” Y/N chuckled, smiling at her daughter.

“Trust me, your Uncle Joe wanted us to do much worse than this,”

“You know Sam knows you support him, right, you don’t need to try so hard?” 

“Yeah, we know, it’s just… you know, we need to make sure,” Y/N grinned at Jess. “Don’t worry, we’ll be just the same when you find someone,” Jess took another piece of cookie dough, shaking her head.

“No you won’t - me and Uncle Ben have got his initiation sorted out already,”

“His initiation?” Y/N repeated, laughing.

“Well that’s what this is, right?” Jess grinned.

“Don’t say that in front of Sam’s boyfriend,”

“So you don’t want to know what my boyfriend’s initiation is going to have to be?” Jess asked and Y/N sighed, giving her middle child an exhausted look.

“If it’s something you and Ben have come up with then I’m sure it’s terrifying,”

“Uncle Ben’s going to pelt footballs at him and he’s got to defend himself, if he collapses then he’s not worthy,” Y/N blinked at Jess for a moment before:

“Don’t say that in front of Sam’s boyfriend either,”

“You’re going to have to write me a list,” 

“I’m home!” Lily bellowed opening the door. 

“And so are we!” Sam’s call came shortly after, followed by quiet laughter. Jess and Y/N shared looks, raising their eyebrows.

“I’m scared,”

“Don’t start crying,” Jess warned her, jumping off the counter and going through to the hallway.

Y/N embraced Lily before turning to her son. Sam stood, holding hands with a boy slightly shorter than him - he had inherited Gwilym’s lankiness - who had an easy-going smile on his face. The couple stood in front of Gwilym, who had gone to pick Lily up from the train station as well as pick Sam’s boyfriend up. Y/N made eye contact with her husband and he winked at her, grinning widely.

“Hi Mrs Lee, it’s so nice to meet you - my names Aaron,” Sam’s boyfriend held his hand out, an earnest smile on his open face. Y/N took it, her own eyes crinkling with a grin.

“Hi Aaron, please, call me Y/N,” she gestured for Aaron to follow her. “Come on into the kitchen,” Aaron let go of Sam’s hand and followed Y/N into the kitchen. As they walked through, they heard Jess’ words:

“He’s hot,”

“We made some rainbow cookies,” Y/N said hopefully. “They’ve not cooked yet but they’ll be done in fifteen minutes or so - in the meantime can we get you anything else? Something to drink? A snack?”

“A condom?” Jess added, taking her seat back on the counter. She clearly hadn’t expected everyone to hear judging by the way her cheeks heated up and she hid her face behind her glass.

“Can you guys please stop?” Sam begged, groaning loudly. Gwilym placed a fatherly arm around his shoulders and laughed.

“Come on, Baloo, we’re just trying to get to know Aaron,”

“Baloo?” Aaron repeated, a grin on his face as he looked to his boyfriend.

“Sammy had an obsession with The Jungle Book growing up,” Lily eagerly supplied.

“Aww,” Aaron cooed, grinning at Sam, who pushed his glasses further up his nose.

“You guys are so annoying,”

“That’s our job, Sam,” Gwilym assured him.

Stray Kids Reaction: you cry while watching a Disney movie

A/N: hehe I watched a load of my favourite Disney movies pretty recently and it still gets me so this fits perfectly! Also, every film mentioned is among my favourites!

JUDGES HARD. It was hard enough to get him to watch a Disney movie with you surprisingly, but when he heard you sniffle, he pulled away from you to get a good look at you. He saw you wipe your nose and just.... judged.

"Are you really crying..?"

*sniff* "Yes..."

"Why?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHY YOU STONE HEARTED DEMON?"

Woojin

Started laughing when he saw you crying. While you hit him SOFTLY for laughing, it only made him giggle even more. He just didn't feel affected by the movie so he didn't understand your reaction, which amused him more than you liked.

"Stop laughing you evil monster! Stop it!"

"I'm sorry, y/n I just don't understand why you're crying, that's all. I mean it's just a movie". boi you should have held your tongue

*gasp* "YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT"

Minho

He giggled softly when he saw you crying but didn't say anything about it. You felt grateful that he didn't roast you, but what came later was so much worse. He started bringing it up while out and about with you, teasing you to no end and making you die on the inside.

"Aww look, y/n, a cute doggy!" Your face lit up as you walked past the adorable puppy. "I hope she won't get loST LIKE IN LADY AND THE TRAMP"

You tried to smack him but he dodged. "YOU ASSHAT TAKE IT BACK"

All he'd wanted was to enjoy a calm Disney movie with his favourite person. What he hadn't asked for was to take care of said person when they started crying. He pretended to think it was a nuisance to reassure you and sit closer to you he claimed that he wanted more space on the couch smh etc, but in reality it just gave him a good excuse to hug you even tighter.

"Aww y/n, you're such a wuss. Do you want a cuddle?"

"Okay first off, I'm not a wuss; I'm soft-hearted. And second yes pl-"

"Alright come here then, if you insist".

Hyunjin

Nearly cried as well he's still a child on the inside fight me but immediately hid it when he saw tears running down your cheeks, just to tease you. What he'd not anticipated was that you'd seen from the corner of your eye that he had in fact been crying, and you both teased each other for days to come.

"Poor little y/n was so sad to see little Dumbo visit the cage of his momma". He sniggered.

You mimicked his voice. "Poor little Jinnie was so sad when Dumbo got scared in the circus".

"Dude what're you talking about, I was Unfazed™. I am Manly™".

"Ooohhh so those were manly tears I was seeing, gotcha". He glared at you.

Jisung

He was enjoying the movie so much, he actually shushed you when you kept sniffling. He didn't want to miss a single part of the Jungle Book the original Disney movie, NOT the live adaptation mkay so he scolded you for making too much noise and told you to go get a tissue.

[later, after the movie]

"I still can't believe you told me to 'bugger off, so I can listen'!"

"Hey, it's sad when you think Baloo is dead! You can't ruin the moment with encessant sniffling!"

Felix

You both watched Bambi, and Felix caught you crying quietly. He didn't say anything at all, in fact he was 100% silent for the entire movie. When the movie ended, you started clearing up the popcorn bowls, and you heard a sniff behind you. You turned around to see a slightly puffy-eyed Felix, with tear marks on his cheeks.

"Wait why were you crying? I'm the crybaby in this relationship", you said, dumbstruck.

"Because...." *sniff* "IT'S JUST SO SAD HOW YOUNG BAMBI WAS WHEN HIS MOTHER WAS RIPPED AWAY FROM HIM AND HE DIDN'T EVEN REALISE WHY SHE WAS GONE FOREVER HE WAS TOO NAIVE TO UNDERSTAN AND HE SPENT HIS WHOLE LIFE WITHOUT HER" He sobbed.

"...Holy crap I never thought that would hit you so hard..."

Seungmin

You both watched Up and naturally you started crying right at the beginning. Seungmin hugged you tighter, nuzzling into your neck with a smile on his face. You were hella confused: why wasn't he, soft Seungmin, crying as well? When you asked, he gave you the most shocking answer you could have imagined.

"Well, because they're happy together right? They both loved each other so much that they were happy growing old together, and that's how I feel with you: I want to spend my entire life with you".

You started crying even harder. "But" *sniff* "You know Ellie dies right, Minnie...."

"But we've got our whole lives ahead, we don't need to think about that". He snuggled closer to you.

"DAMMIT how do you manage to make me cry so damn easily?!"

Jeongin

Another judger. You started crying pretty close to sobbing tbh while watching the Lion King. Jeongin felt a tear tug in his eye but he remained otherwise unfazed. Later he teased you for your reaction to the movie.

"Don't worry, y/n! I'll protect you from any evil lions". He giggled.

"How come you're not affected by this?! Mufasa's death is traumatising for Simba and anyone who watches that movie!"

"I guess I'm just too old for Disney films".

"YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD FOR DISNEY YOU ARE LYING TO YOURSELF"

YAH GUESS WHO’S FINISHED LITERARY STUDIES FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE!

Like legit fight someone-Baloo really likes ice cream especially if Kiawe makes it-Bro likes all sweets but if you give him Gummi Bewears he will owe you a life debt🐢 - What type of animal would they keep for a pet?assuming we’re talking real world animals and not Pokemon))-If he could Ty would keep a moose or an alligator-Baloo would keep a hippo or a shark and feed it the things she doesn’t want to eat-Bro would keep an owl or some other big potentially dangerous bird🐙 - They are crossing the ocean. What are the circumstances and how did they get there? -Knowing Ty it went like “Bet you can’t paddle across the ocean” “You’re on freckled demon” he regrets falling for it once its too late-Baloo probably did it to prove she could and now she’s stuck in the ocean in a floatie-Bro would be sensible and is just crossing to get to the other side in a boat🌎 - If money were no object, where would they live and what would they do with their life? The things he figures out and notices are on a different level📬 - A mysterious letter has just been found in their mailbox. How does your character react? Who would it be from? -Ty would burn it. It could be tracked or full of something that might make him sick-Baloo would open it and it’d be something really minor or dumb but she’d act like it was something crazy to freak out her neighbors-Bro would be suspicious and just watch it sitting on his desk for days. He’d be too paranoid to check and see who the sender is⌚ - Is your character punctual or procrastinator?-Kinda depends. If its an important project Ty will finish it but if its something that isn’t time dependent he’d put it off as long as possible-Baloo procrastinates everything. Everything. She’d find a way to put off her own death-Bro is super punctual. Unless he’s sick or distracted, it gets done immediately💰 - Your character just found a fat sack of gold on a bench. What do they do with it?-Ty would take it and put it away for something-Baloo would wait for the leprechaun who was dumb enough to lose it and capture him. A leprechaun would bring in more money-Bro would keep it but if someone came in looking for it, he’d give it back👙 - Is your character trendy or do they just not give a damn? -Ty is accidentally trendy but really doesn’t care-Baloo used to be super trendy but the trends expanded past her attention span-Bro tries to be trendy but usually falls short

15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?-Molayne is the one who like scoots the spider into his hand and carries it out while Kahili is hiding somewhere watching to insure it is seen out-Baloo will lose her mind if she sees a spider and not only resort to extreme measures to remove but stalk Kiawe until he has it outside

16: Which one gives the other their jacket?-Molayne definitely gives Kahili his jacket and its so big on her it looks funny-Kiawe doesn’t believe in jackets and there hasn’t yet been a jacket made to contain Baloo’s boobs of justice

17: Who keeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?-I headcanon Molayne has a little sister that is always watching Kahili waiting for her to mess up so she can drag her about it forever-Ty honestly doesn’t care much about what Kiawe and Baloo are doing at this point. But when they were first dating Kiawe always had this utter sense of dread and feeling of being hunted when he was out with her

18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?-Kahili definitely. She said “I keep feeling sick when you’re away and really odd when you’re here... Please stay” but Molayne was the one who said the l word first. Yeah that broke her-Kiawe had admitted to himself and Hoshi that he liked Baloo but Baloo kinda screamed it at him. She’s elegant like that you see. When he said the l word to her she might have fainted or cried. Maybe both

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?-Molayne is such an awkward dad to Kea. So afraid he might drop him or do something wrong. While Kahili is just going on instinct and the need to outdo Molayne-Kiawe and Baloo are best parents. Except when they forget to censor themselves and... Forget the Keahi is there...

20: Which one types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?-Molayne types elegantly. Perfection. Kahili’s typing hurts-Baloo types really fast and makes errors she’s too lazy to fix even if they’re simple. Kiawe refuses to admit he’s good at typing. Like really good
