Explosion Touch: Hellfire can cause items he touches to heat up to the point of explosion. Objects ignited with his power glow brightly for a few seconds before the entire object detonates intensely. The size of the blast created appears to be correlated to the size of the exploding objects; larger objects like coolers and lamps produced a large, violent explosion while smaller objects like pool balls and shot glasses detonated in a small burst.

The market facilitation program has been helping small farmers over the last few years in a $28 billion bailout. Trump’s sanctions brought this on and the corona virus has made it worse.  Mostly the money has helped bankers and bigger farms. Much like the stimulus $ that was earmarked for small business, there are loopholes that screw up the ‘rules.’ The cap is not being followed like they may say because the $ is going to “investors” in the farm and often not the actual farmer who works on a smaller scale. A small farm run by family members may not get the bailout. It seems to be more important to get a good lawyer who can manipulate the paperwork.  Sad that taxpayer $ is used this way.

After 8.3 million views, there was a copyright claim by Toby Smith of about 4 seconds of footage.  Now , this is not the first time that Moore has had problems with content in one of his movies.  Many have claimed there is a lot of fiction in this latest venture. I think I would just remove the possible copyright infringement and move on. It can now be seen on Vimeo.

Inhuman of The Day

April 28th - Hellfire

Jack, an Inhuman from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who has appeared on the television show, Agents of Shield.  Jack grew up somewhere in Australia and was recruited by Beijing to live in the Inhuman sanctuary of Afterlife.  Jack’s boyish manners and antisocial disposition led Jinjing to decide he was not a suitable candidate to go through Terrigenesis.  Jack was extremely upset over this decision and he ultimately left Afterlife to live a hermitic life in real Montana.  Before he left, Jack stole some ancient Kree artifacts that he hoped he could one day use as leverage to gain Terrigen Crystals and fulfill his wish to go through Terrigensis.  

Some time later, The Shield agents, Daisy Johnson and Lincoln, tracked Jack down to recollect these items.  Jack tricked the agents and only gave them half of the artifacts he had stolen.  Later, after Daisy Johnson had fallen under the mental control of Hive, Daisy and Hive returned to retrieve the other half.  So that Hive could exert his mental sway over a new Inhuman soldier, Daisy exposed Jack to the Terrigen Mists and he transformed, gaining the ability to charge and detonate objects with fiery, plasma based energies.   After much deliberation, Jack decided that his Inhuman name would be ‘Hellfire’ and, under Hive’s sway, he worked as an enforcer in the evil Inhuman’s plot for world domination.  On one mission, Hellfire found that he could charge a pair of long metal chains, transforming the chains into a fiery whip.   Hellfire was knocked unconscious by Lincoln during Shield’s final battle with Hive.  With Hive’s death, it is presumed that Hellfire would be freed from being under mental control.  It remains to be seen whether or not Hellfire will play a role in subsquent episodes of Agents of Shield.  

Hellfire’s analog in the 616 comic book universe is JT James, a hero who fought alongside Daisy Johnson as a member of Nick Fury’s Secret Warriors program.  This version of Hellfire was not an Inhuman but rather gained his abilities from a supernatural source.  He was killed during the Secret Warriors final mission.   On Agents of Shield, Hellfire is portrayed by actor, Axle Whitehead.
