Inukag: Shinto wedding
This is a entry for @inukagfluffweek event Inukag fluff week 2023 day 6: Wedding Day, and I'm doing a Shinto wedding, like I did for my entry for Miphlink week 2023. I also give a reference that Shinto weddings are actually a thing created during the 20th century.
Kagome take a deep breath while the maids help her put on the multiple kimono for this special ceremony. Just days after her return to the feudal era, Kagome has agreed to be Inuyasha's wife. However, when she suggested a Shinto wedding, she was shocked that none of her friends never hear of it, with Sango and Miroku just having a wedding in which Kaede bless their union. Kagome would soon remember that the Shinto wedding was actually a modern time celebration, so she has to tell them much she can about it. Once they understand parts of it, her friends agree to hold the wedding of her choice.
When Kagome join Inuyasha, she is wearing a white kimono with a hood over her head. Inuyasha was at lost of words when he see Kagome in her dress, as it was like she was a angel. Kagome ask Inuyasha, "Ready?" and, taking her by the arms, he reply, "Ready."
The two step outside where their friends Sango, her and Miroku kids Kin'u, Gyokuto, and baby Hisui, Shippo, Kirara, Kaede, Kohaku, and Rin were waiting. The couple walk to the wedding altar where Miroku was waiting. As a monk, he offer to help Inuyasha and Kagome with the ceremony, even if Inuyasha feel Kaede was the one to do the task.
Miroku begins the ceremony with a speech, "Friends, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi. It's certainly take some time for both of them, given Inuyasha's attitude and pride. I'm actually surprised Kagome managed to make Inuyasha agree on their wedding." which made Inuyasha to give a death glade as he said, "What was that, Miroku?" Miroku nervous laugh, "I was just kidding, Inuyasha. I was just kidding." and he got back to the speech, "We also must give thanks to the benevolent spirits for bringing these two together."
Soon, sake is pour into three cups on the altar and Miroku said, "Now, they should drink the sake to symbol their future as a happy father, a happy mother, and a child that would be born into their blessed life." Inuyasha drink the first cup and then hand it to Kagome, whose drink from it. Next, Kagome then drink from the second cup and hand it to Inuyasha to drink it. Finally, the final cup is given to Inuyasha, whose drink it, and he then handed it to Kagome, whose drink from it.
As the cups are taken away by Hachiemon, Miroku put evergreen on the altar and said with a prayer, "Kami and spirits, we place this evergreen to reflect our gratitude of your blessing their union. It is with your powers and blessings, as well that of the Budda, that Inuyasha and Kagome come together as one."
Silver rings are lay on the altar and Miroku said, "You may now exchange the rings and make your wedding vows." Inuyasha put the wedding rings on Kagome's ringer as he said, "I, Inuyasha, take thee, Kagome Higurashi, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, no mater what dare what taken us apart; and thereto I pledge thee my faith." Soon, it was Kagome's turn to make her vows as she put the wedding ring on Inuyasha's finger, "I, Kagome Higurashi, take thee, Inuyasha, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish, till death do us part, as destiny said it was to be; and thereto I pledge thee my faith."
After they said their wedding vows, Miroku said, "With the blessing of the Budda, they are now husband and wife." and whisper to Inuyasha, "This is the part you can kiss Kagome now, Inuyasha." Without even having to be told twice, the two happily kiss each other and everyone clap. Breaking off from their kiss that finished their wedding, Inuyasha can see Kagome is happy to be with him after three years, and he feel the same thing. As they head to the celebration feast, Inuyasha noticed his half brother Sesshomaru watching them from a distance before he take his leave. Inuyasha is glad that Sesshomaru atleast took the time to see him and Kagome happy moment.

"Btw Kagura is just one year old" 🤡🤡🤡 HOLY SHIT!!! Stupid people/Intentionally dim motherfuckers get on my nerves. 😱
According to S/r shippers, Kagura is a one year old wittle baby. 👶🏻Inuyasha is a 500 year old dirty old man. 👴🏻 But Sesshomaru... he's only 19. 👦🏻 He's barely an adult. 🧑🏻 Matter of fact he just lost his last baby teeth like og!Rin too! He's just a misunderstood minor 👼🏻
I hate seeing people twist shit to fit their dumbass narratives, stay consistent! Fucking hell. Kagura, a grown woman that's on grown ass man Sesshomaru's level. Inuyasha, a fifteen year old boy on the same level as teenage Kagome, Sango, Miroku. Rin, 5-8 year old that's peer group would include Shippo and Kohaku. Stfu.
SessRinners mess around with ages a lot to muddy the waters, claiming Antis criticise PedoBin because Sesshomaru is hundreds of years old, calling us hypocrites because Sumisawa made Inuyasha 250 years old in the anime and Kagura is chronologically 1 year old...but it all boils down to maturity. Inuyasha is Kagome's peer and equal, Miroku and Sango are at most two years apart, as are Kagura and Sesshomaru. They're all in their teens or late teens.
As for Rin and Sesshomaru, he's an adult, she's a child. It doesn't even matter if you look at Sesshomaru's demon age or not, he's STILL an adult, and Rin the child in his care.
...how utterly delusional do lolicons have to be to claim a kid is actually a "malnourished petite adult woman with dwarfism", while 17 year old Kagura is "an infant"??? ☠️

Me looking at the angst thing about baby Sora: Oh, oh, dear. How is RIN gonna handle Irene leaving? Because I feel like Irene being with her will have been a great help to her transitioning to village life after Kaede pushed for Sesshomaru to leave Rin in the village. And Rin’s terrified of losing people. Just oh, oh dear.
I wanna say they’d be in the village for about a year before it happens, seeing as Kin’u and Gyokuto are already born, so Rin would already be living with Kaede and learning medicine. She’d have already adjusted fairly well- especially since there are a lot of friendly demons in the village and Toran would have practically taken Rin under her wing since Irene is fond of her.
I think Rin wouldn’t know what’s going on until after Irene has already left to hide with the Wolf Demon Tribe, but once she does she gonna be looking at everyone (mostly Miroku, since he’s the one who planted the bad thought (however unintentional, since it was driven from concern) like they’re idiots.
Rin: “Why would Lord Sesshomaru ever hurt Big Sister? He loves her! Lord Sesshomaru always goes out of his way to take care of her!”
Inuyasha: “Yeah, he likes HER. Not to so much the half-demon growing inside of her right now.”
Rin: “…Wait, Big Sister and Lord Sesshomaru are having a baby!??? WHY WOULD SHE RUN AWAY, LORD SESSHOMARU WOULD BE REALLY HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS.”
Miroku:
Sango:
Shippo:
Inuyasha:
Miroku: “Are we sure the Sesshomaru you’re thinking of is the same Sesshomaru we’re thinking of???”
Rin: “Lord Sesshomaru is much kinder than you know!!! Now where is Big Sister hiding!? Lord Sesshomaru needs to know!”
Inuyasha: “We ain’t tellin’ you squat, kid.”
(Alsjskskks okay now imagine Rin overhears them (probably MirSan) talking about the wolf demons and has Kohaku borrow Kirara so they can find Sesshomaru to let him know where Irene (and Sora) are.)

Fireworks, a SessKag shortfic

Happy 4th of July! 🧨💖
---
"Like this, Kagome-chan?"
Kagome glanced down from the set of sparklers she'd been about to light. Beside her Rin stood, trailing her own lit sparkler in a hesitant line before her. Warmly, the miko smiled.
"Yep, just like that, Rin-chan. If you make different motions, you can also see different shapes. Try drawing a circle." The little girl drew a circle of light with the sparking stick. "Now draw several more, quick in a row."
The little girl spun the sparkler in rapid succession. Her dark eyes glittered, wide with wonder at the funnel of golden light that formed. Gap-toothed, she beamed, effervescent.
"Oh!" Rin exclaimed, now painting the darkness of evening in radiant waves. "It's like the light is dancing!"
Kagome beamed back. "That's exactly what it's like, Rin-chan. Why don't you go show Shippo-kun and the others? I'm sure they'd like to see it."
"Okay!"
Forgotten sparklers in hand, Kagome crossed her arms lightly at the chest, watching with a smile as Rin raced off to where Shippo, Kohaku and a gaggle of the other village children were setting off firecrackers in the rice field—under Sango, Miroku and Kirara's close supervision, of course. As fearless as Rin was around demons, she still tended to be shy and withdrawn around her own kind, especially in large groups. But in the little girl's excitement, she'd forgotten her reservations. Kagome was glad to see Rin mingling with the other kids. She felt proud that she'd found a subtle means of encouraging her.
It was difficult, adjusting to a new way of life. Kagome knew that firsthand.
Her eyes strayed unconsciously to the part of the field where Inuyasha stood. Crouched, with his ears flat, he cursed as he struggled to get one of the staked rockets to ignite. The short fuse had already vanished into the body of the rocket, and still no dice.
With his prickly ego in mind, Kagome had charged him with the task of setting off the biggest firecrackers for the main event. The bulk of the village was gathered loosely along the fences to view it. As Inuyasha leapt to his feet and began angrily to stamp, the men sighed, the kids booed and the women shook their heads, shifting cranky babies in their arms—all of them disappointed at the lack of a better show.
Kagome's smile slipped, in a disappointment all her own. It had been some months now, but the wound still felt a little raw. Not long after she'd returned to Sengoku Jidai, her and Inuyasha's romantic relationship had fizzled out. Perhaps the heat of constant battle had fanned the flames of their attraction to disproportionate heights. Maybe it was a girlish crush she'd simply outgrown. Maybe it was misplaced infatuation on his part.
Or maybe it was all of the above.
Who knew. Whatever the reason, it was over. Yet Kagome still found herself here, on this side of the well. Sometimes, she had to wonder why. What was holding her here, now that her dream of marrying Inuyasha was gone? Somehow, her heart still felt anchored to this time in a way she couldn't place.
"Damn piece of junk!"
Lost in her musings, Kagome didn't realize Inuyasha had ripped the dud rocket up from the ground and sent it flying in his annoyance. This wouldn't have mattered, except that he'd launched it back toward the crate he'd first dug it out of. This really wouldn't have mattered, either, except that the crate was still pretty full of unlit firecrackers—
And that the dud rocket apparently wasn't such a dud after all.
Inuyasha's face fell as the crate began to smoke. "...Shit."
Before he could reach it, the contents of the crate went off in a chain-reaction of explosions. Men, women and children ran shouting as firecrackers of all sorts and sizes zipped off glaring and screeching in all directions. Most flew off over the open rice paddies, which was no problem. Kagome had picked this site specifically because of all the standing water about.
Unfortunately, however, more than a few hurtled off toward the village—sped on by the wind which Kagome berated herself for not considering earlier. Unlike the damp fields, the thatched and planked huts of the village were like so much standing tinder. As the firecrackers landed sizzling atop straw and dry wood, the homes started to smoke in record time. Like a wicked bellows, the errant breeze stoked the budding embers quickly to flame.
Hunched with her hands covering her head, Kagome gaped in horror. "Inuyasha!"
"I'm on it!" he shouted back, already ripping off his fireproof haori as he and Kirara streaked away toward the burning village.
Luckily, all the residents were out in the fields. But Kagome's heart sank as she looked to them. The men stared on in helpless dejection. The women and children wept at the prospect of their homes and all their worldly possessions going up in flames. Inuyasha and Kirara were doing what they could to smother them, but it seemed hopeless. Too little too late.
As Kagome started to despair, a pinpoint of light appeared in the hazy night sky. The pinpoint grew, taking on a form that made Rin cry out in elation. Kagome felt the echo of it, as Sesshoumaru soared into view atop Ah-Un. Lightly, he leapt down into the center of the smoldering village. His eyes shrank to slits as his youki billowed out from him in dark crushing waves, snuffing and dampening the worst of the flames.
"Jaken," he said, "see to the rest."
"Hai, milord!"
Rising to her feet, Kagome watched in boneless relief as Jaken and Ah-Un sailed about. The two-headed dragon sprayed water from its twin mouths like a living, breathing firehose, extinguishing the stubborn fires that remained. Shaking the ash from his haori as he donned it, Inuyasha scoffed, glaring toward his elder half-brother.
"Showoff..."
Sesshoumaru ignored him. As Inuyasha bounded away to hound bossily after Jaken, the relieved villagers dispersed to assess the damage—which looked mercifully light thanks to Sesshoumaru's timely intervention. From the cooling village square, he crossed over to where Kagome lingered by the fence.
"I suppose this was your doing," he said. "Those fires had a strange scent."
Strange. Kagome grimaced, his brisk assessment hitting her in a double-whammy of accusation. "I suppose you're right."
"Trouble seems to follow you, miko."
"Well," she said, twitching a grateful smile, "luckily, you were near."
"Luck has nothing to do with it." Sesshoumaru's golden eyes seemed to glimmer as they trailed her face. "Your cheek is burned."
"Oh..."
Kagome blinked, raising a hand to her left cheek. The scorch mark from an flyaway firecracker had left a shallow, blistering streak an inch below her eye. Gently, she prodded at the stinging spot. Her breath escaped her in a short hiss of pain—a pain she hadn't noticed before in her acute distress.
"That's going to leave a mark," she muttered, her shoulders sinking in chagrin.
"I think not," Sesshoumaru said.
Her breath escaped her shortly once more, when he took her lightly by the chin and angled her burned cheek up toward him. His lashes lowered slightly as his smooth lips met her skin. His warm wet tongue traced the wound, salving it over. Kagome went rigid at the numbing sensation, though her heart pounded wildly.
The pair of sparklers still hung unlit in her limp, dangling hand. But all Kagome could feel was fireworks.

"I'm not your mother....I'm actually....your sister." Silence. "Not biologically, but still your sister."
"I don't understand."
"If you think about it, those closest to you never really confirmed I was your mother; it was statements, but no full acknowledgement....not even from your father."
The twins faced one another in confusion, trying to remember each encounter.
"No, I guess not." Setsuna spoke softly. "But then...why lie?"
"Where...where's our mothee?" Towa asked, her voice choking slightly as she thought of the Higarashi's love and kindness.
Rin smiled at the two. They were sitting inside the home she shared with Kohaku; between them was a lit fire, its light illuminating their emotions.
Rin tilted her head upwards and closed her eyes; in that instance, a soft breeze passed between them.
"What?" Setsuna asked Towa with annoyance.
"What what?"
"You tapped me."
"No I didn't."
"I felt it."
"That was her....your mother." Rin spoke, her head still facing upward but her eyes were now open.
"What are you talking about?" Towa asked.
Rin faced them.
"Your mother....has become the wind."
Silence filled the room; Rin watched them, unsure of how to proceed. She didn't think Sesshomaru would have been better at explaining, so she took the role; this charade was going on far too long. She was tired of lying to the girls and she said as much; Kagome offered to be by her side when she told them, but as their elder sister she wanted to do it alone.
"Say that again." Towa commented.
"Your mother's name was Kagura."
"So....she's gone now?" Setsuna stated sadly.
"Her physical body is gone, but not her spirit; she still watches over you...that's what you felt just now. She was a wind goddess on earth and became the wind when she passed."
Rin waited for a response, but when none came she continued.
"Kagura was a graceful and beautiful person; although to be honest, when I first met her she was a bit mean."
"She was evil?" Towa asked.
"She was under the control of an evil person; however, she atoned for her wrongdoing."
"How did she die?" Setsuna asked.
"Naraku....you heard of him right?" They nodded. "He was the one who controlled her; he killed her when it was apparent she wanted to be free of him."
"Wait," Setsuna started. "The battle with Naraku happened a while ago; how could she be our mother if she was already gone?"
"When your mother passed along to the netherworld, she was granted one wish...a wish for her change of heart; the one thing your mother wanted was to be with your father again....to see him." Rin smiled broadly, watching the flames.
"That...sounds nice." Towa stated.
"It was very romantic," Rin continued. "She was granted one season every year with him; however, when she found out she was pregnant it went against the laws of her eternal life. She was not allowed to keep you."
"What?" The twins said in unison.
"Heart broken of course, she begged them..."
"Them?" Towa questioned.
"The Gods of the netherworld; begged them to spare her baby. They would not hear of it so she agreed to give you up; at that time she didn't know she was going to have twins. You two were found by Sesshomaru near the tree of ages."
"That sounds a bit far fetched." Setsuna interjected. "You're making this up right? I mean come on, a wind goddess? How was she able to....conceive if she were a goddess?"
"The wish they granted her made her human again...if only for once a year."
"Say it's the truth, why didn't she come back the following year?" Setsuna asked.
"Yeah," Towa added.
"She was forbidden; she was no longer allowed to roam in her human form as what she and your father did went against their laws. She accepted her fate with a heavy heart and left instructions with you two; she did not want you to know until you were ready to accept the tale."
"Well I don't." Setsuna got to her feet. "This sounds like bull; why are you making this us mother?"
"I told you, I'm not your mother; I know this seems hard to believe."
"It is."
"Wait!" Towa called as Setsuna walked out.
"Towa." Rin called. "What about you....do you believe me?"
"I....don't know." She left, chasing after her sister.

Things in my fanfic I feel like oversharing cause I have a compulsive need to:
I originally had a whole side story planned on how Rin, Kohaku and Hisui became vampires but I decided to scrap it. Partly because I love this characterization of Rin that I have and the idea of writing out her traumatic experience isn’t something I want to do. That would be just a big chunk of trauma porn and I don’t want to make readers uncomfortable (or myself).
There will be backstory to their turnings though. It will be explained.
Towa and Setsuna are still SessKagu twins and do have human nights. But their ears are pointed cause they would look cooler cause I said so.
Confirmed couples for this fic are as followed: established InuKag, SessKagu, MirSan (slight, but it’s potent to the story) and RikuRin {I will explain}
Kohaku does have a love interest but he’s currently healing from his relationship with Shiori and his LI is respectful.
Hisui is the oldest of the four kiddos, the absolute mom friend and his only weakness is when Moroha gives him puppy eyes. He can’t say no to them. He has tried and failed.
Moroha is second oldest cause she was born about a year after Sango’s disappearance.
The Tuna twins were born months later, and Setsuna hates that she’s the literal baby of the group.
All four of them are 18-19 in physical appearance and also mentally. They may be close to 500 years old but they’re all college aged with a bit more brain cells.
On that note, Towa is the only one of them to have actively gotten her college education. She studies in the States. She dragged Hisui along her second semester there and the two attend Duke University at the start of the fic.
Moroha is taking college courses online but she also has shrine maiden duties since she helps her great-grandpa and grandma run the Higurashi shrine.
Setsuna doesn’t give a shit. It keeps her from spending time with Kohaku (who is her uncle, mentor and second father figure)
Rin thinks it’s cute.
On the topic of the slightly older kiddos.
Because Sango literally was only 22 when she disappeared, I played around with idea I’d having Kohaku be physically older than her.
So he’s 26 while Rin is 23, the same age as KinGyo. Riku is physically 25
On the subject of Rin and Riku being a romantic item, they were originally going to be friends to budding lovers to enemies who hate fuck while mutually pining for each other but I did not feel up for writing that dynamic. Too toxic and irritable.
Instead, Rin is the personification of ‘looks like a cinnamon, can kill you’. A big inspiration for her characterization is Yor from Spy x Family. But she takes strongly after her mama Kagura and won’t hesitate to curse someone out.
Riku and Rin were friends before anything. Their friendship is what lead to her being kidnapped and cursed by Zero. I’m still working out those kinks on how it caused vampirism.
Riku defected to Sesshomaru’s side after Rin was cursed. They didn’t start a relationship until years down the line.
Towa still has the silver pearl in her eye, Setsuna still has her gold pearl. Moroha wears her red pearl around her neck like a pendant.
Also, the girls’s hair does the Ghibli puff. Moroha’a hair is wavy like how Kagome’s was in the earlier manga so it’s adorable.
On the subject of character physical changes: Moroha’s eyes are more brown with a gray hint while Towa’s eyes are crimson. Setsuna retains her looks but their red streaks are dyed in honor of their mother.
Moroha gives Hisui blood. But he makes her promise it’s not unless it’s dire.
Kohaku, Rin and Hisui can go days without blood but no longer than six. If it’s been to long, their eyes turn spider lily red and they start to go into a feral state.
KinGyo are featured more in the later half of part 2. This fic idea is long but I am taking my time to write and work it out. But the Goldfish twins are featured.
Kin’u helps run the Higurashi shrine while Gyokuto has been taking care of the demon slayer village. Sesshomaru made it so the land was gifted to her family. So the cover story is it was in the family for years. She has a small weapons’ workshop and works with guns. She also handles demon slaying in Japan while the kiddos are away.
One of them is a lesbian, I’m still deciding which one.
Kohaku and Shiori almost had a child. But they decided against it because they weren’t how Kohaku’s vampirism would take in terms of genetics, since he’s still alive.
Shiori died during the Taisho era. Her death hurt mostly Setsuna and Kohaku.
Shippo and Soten took over taking care of the hanyo village.
Kohaku works as Sesshomaru’s informant. He’s actively looking for the Four Perils and Zero, and has always been just a step behind them.
It’s actually how he met Yuichiro (his love interest), who is human.
InuKag run a flower shop. Kagome wanted to open one in remembrance of her friends. She named it after Sango.
This whole story is going to take place from 2010 to 2014 😅

So Yashahime is trying to tell me that Kohaku, the kid who traveled with the Sessgang for a good while, couldn’t tell that Setsuna was Sesshomaru and Rin’s kid????
Setsuna and Towa are the perfect mixture of their parents, you’d have to be blind sir.
Setsuna even has a mokomoko wrapped around her shoulder like her father!!!

I saw a post about how Towa and Setsuna could've been like remnants of Naraku/Naraku's incarnations and Sess got straddled with them and I'm literally at work laughing my face off at the idea of Sess like leaving Rin when she's 18 with Kohaku thinking "great, I don't have to look after that little baby human anymore, she's a demon hunter, she's married, it's fine" and bam he just finds these two four year olds hanging out in the woods and he internally screams "IS THIS PUNISHMENT FOR ABANDONING INUYASHA" and Toga in the underworld goes ✨yes✨
And every fourteen years or so Toga leaves the underworld to just lure another orphan Sesshomaru's way and THAT'S Sesshomaru's empire just dozens upon dozens of orphans he's collected over the years with Jaken's role he long wished for being 'harried babysitter'

about the inuyasha reboot, i refuse to believe it’s canon. to me it’s just some really angsty fanfiction because never in my life will i allow myself to believe that inuyasha and kagome didn’t raise their daughter cuz they were stuck in a pearl. that’s too sad. inuyasha was probably so excited to be a dad since he didn’t really have one growing up only to be shoved in a pearl for a decade and a half. also why don’t seshomaru’s (is that how you spell it?) daughters have ears like inuyasha if they’re half demons ? was that explained ? idk ive only seen half an episode. also rin having a baby with seshomaru when there was a perfectly good kohaku? criminal. like i get it yknow seshy is so very good looking. he’s fabulous and he’s got great hair. he’s also like a freaking thousand years old idk i’m pretty indifferent at this point. when i was a kid i thought the ship was cute but as an adult it just makes me feel some kind of way

You know what's sad? I actually actually hope Rin dies in this series and stays dead. Not because I hate her, quite the opposite actually.I love Rin I am a huge Rin stan. I think she's an adorable little girl and who had such potential and wanted for her the happiest of futures. When I heard that there was a generation 2 of Inuyasha coming out I was so excited to see who Rin grew up to be.
I had always thought she would be Kagome's apprentice, who specializes in healing, both human and demon, thanks to her bonds with Kaede and Sesshomaru. Kaede is how she will learn about healing humans and her bond with sesshomaru would give her the drive to learn how to heal demons. With her own fighting style that was a mix of demon slayer fighting from Sango and Kohaku and archery/holy fighting from Kagome & Miroku. Just incase she needed to defend herself.
KohRin is also my flag ship and I had always had it in my mind that she would marry Kohaku, have like three kids, with Grandpamaru comming to visit. But I was also happy if she didn't fall in love and stayed a single pringle as well and have awesome adventures.
There was sooo much she could have become and I was ecstatic to see what they had done with her.
But then Yashahime came out and when I saw that she had become the bride of Sesshomaru, had his twins, then was cast asside like a broken doll having accomplished nothing but being a baby factory. Made me cry.
Everything that she could have become. All the stories they could have made with her in them. All the potential she had... completely flushed down the toilet. Seeing her sleeping with in the tree with nothing but having babies. Was the worst thing to have been done to her. No one loves or even cares that she is even gone. Some don't even remember that she even exsisted. The only reminder of her presence is her and Sesshomaru's daughters. That from the what I had seen of the anime,Sesshomaru didn't even care about.
Rin was distroyed. True they have made a season two that from what I have seen here on tumbler had given her the smallest of personalities but she was instantly cursed to die and thrown into the tree seven days after giving birth. ((A curse that if her love with Sesshomaru was actually real would have never happened in the first place. For the true OG sesshomaru would have never have let Zero live if she had so much as even thought about hurting his loved one. He would have taken her head from her shoulders before she even had the chance to curse Rin.))
They have taken everything from her. She is the most tragic character in this whole series. A little girl who lost her parents to bandits. Lost her life to wolves. Then was cursed to continuously die and revive by the hands of demons. Her only biological family torn from her side before she even had the chance to hold them. A husband who can care less about if she's alive or dead and a future that holds nothing for her but being a perfect subservient wife and brood mother. Her chance to be a doctor, a demon slayer a priestess. Ripped from her before she even had the chance to lose all of her baby teeth.
I hope Rin dies in this anime so that she can finally be released from the curse that is her life and giving the chance to reincarnate like Kikiyo did and live a life that she deserves. One were she's happy, loved and can become the Queen she deserves to be.
But..I know that won't happen. Sunrise will find a way to keep her alive and she will wake up from her cursed slumber and instantly be the airheaded, subservient wife that forgives everything that happened and only wants to love her lord. Be at his beck and call ready to bare him a new hord of Hanyo children with a smile. For that's all she is good for. Untill the next Yokai comes along and tries to kill her once more.
I am sorry,Rin......
