Person of Interest: Nepheli Loux
Tumblr media
Name: Nepheli Loux Title/Alias: Hero, Warrior Race: Badlander Gender: Female Occupation: Adventurer Affiliation: Unknown Badlands tribe, her father. Notes:
Possible relation to Horah Loux, a semi-mythical warrior who the voice told me is actually here.
Who is the father she mentioned?
Holds great respect for the Banished Knights
Possibly affiliated with the Red Banished Knights.
Can speak to the winds of Stormveil
Gideon Ofnir's adopted daughter
She respects him, but he does not respect her in the slightest.

Banished Knight Set
Tumblr media
Thick, full set of armor covering the entire body. This armor was worn by knights who, whether by misfortune or misdeed, were forced to abandon their homes.
These fierce warriors were each and all accomplished. Perhaps that is why, despite their territorial losses, they were still named knights.

what your theories about who was the storm lord? i
I know there is a great debate between a dragon and a hawk.
In JP storm king is 嵐の王, while stormhawk is 嵐の鷹, in JP it is said that banished knight served storm lord かつて、嵐の王の双翼として知られた Now let's look at their armor:

Storm lord is a dragon.

Morgott and Oleg, but they're glass.
If you're wondering why they look so different from my usual depictions of them, it's because this art is inspired by this marvelous fic (read it, it's really good, the best Morgott ever and so on).

Some bits about this comic:
Godrick does not have the status to grant anyone the title of Leyndell. He gives Sir Knight the addition anyway. Leyndell was his home, and somewhere he still thinks he belongs. Therefore, he believes his personal knight must have it in his name as well.
Technically, this ceremony is not officially recognised. There were no (living) witnesses. In a way, they are just playing house. And their vows are totally not marriage vows :)
For his prayer, Sir Knight prayed to Godrick.

Ending the series with the tarnished I will first be carrying into the Land of Shadow:
Talus II, Lord consort to Lunar Princess Ranni.
… also, he talks to dolls.
And with that, it's finally all out of my system. Now I can just sit back and wait paitiently for the DLC to drop like a normal person. 😂

Stormveil Final Courtyard
Tumblr media
I emerged from the depths right above the smithy. Of course, that's where the lowest guard platform was. I wonder if they'll need to keep the guards there now that I slew the Tree Spirit? I wonder if they'll have the guards to spare after the number I've done on them.
Tumblr media
I found my way back to where I was before, and down the accidental ramp created by the impact. To my left was a door of golden fog and, presumably, Godrick. To the front, a new Site of Grace, and to the right was a troll facing the other way, along with a couple Exile Soldiers. It was the easiest thing in the world to keep the troll off-balance, and his wild strikes took care of the soldiers for me. This was supposed to be Godrick's last line of defense?
Tumblr media
Across the final courtyard, I found another storage cell. Inside was a Tarnished girl dressed in the style of a Badlands Hero. She was saying a prayer over a deceased Banished Knight, presumably one she just killed herself.
"Be proud. You were a fine warrior. Your only mistake was your choice of master. Let the winds lift you, to a higher place."
Interesting. I hadn't heard their prayers, but it was the same respect the red Banished Knights had for the stormhawks and Exiled Soldiers they were forced to kill. Could she be part of the same party? She introduced herself as Nepheli Loux and said she was here on behalf of her father (Horah Loux??). In her eyes, Godrick's grafting had "Tainted the very winds." I'm going to assume that's literal. The winds sure do smell foul on Stormhill, and assuming my "fisher king" theory is correct, the area under control of such a lesser lord could explain why the land seems pale and sapped of vitality.
She offered to aid me in my fight against Godrick, which I gladly accepted.
It was time to end this and claim a Great Rune.

Who knew Helphen's Steeple was such a beautiful weapon
Tumblr media
I mean, damn.
I already loved this thing. Cool, edgy black greatsword with the best looking buff effect in the game (sorry Moonlight GS/ St Trina Sword, ghostflame rules), but you never get to see all these gold details ingame. Which is a damn shame. It's a very pretty sword.

Banished Knight Engvall
Tumblr media
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirit of Engvall, the Banished Knight.
One of the two knights dubbed the Wings of the Storm. Despite his banishment, he rejected the invitation of the Grace-Given Lord, instead keeping watch over a masterless castle for many years, gaining renown as a hero of the fringes.
