Day 1, Week 1 of my new Step program. (And I told you I was gonna share EVERY step of the journey ahead...so let’s start by diving in DEEP....here goes😅) - I always ask my clients for pics like this. We call them our “goodbye photos”👋🏽 because by the end of the program, we get to say HELLO to a new & better version of ourselves💗 - But while taking MY goodbye pics today, I had to remind myself, that health GOALS should never be SOLEY physical. Bc I haven’t taken pics like this in a LONG time, and seeing every little imperfection on my body, made me really uncomfortable. - I caught myself wishing for... More defined abs. Smaller boobs. Less of that “thick skin” around my tummy. Toned arms. Smaller legs. - Then I thought about...what OTHER people might think of me?!?! I don’t want to be judged. 🤷🏼‍♀️ What if.... People think I’m TOO muscular. Or maybe I’m TOO smooshy. People think that I don’t need to care about my health Bc I am “goals”. OR People think I’m not fit ENOUGH to be a FITness coach. - But for the first time in a long time... I decided, that no matter WHAT anyone says...(including myself) I👏🏽LOVE👏🏽THIS👏🏽BODY👏🏽 And I’m DOING this program. From start to finish. BECAUSE, of that. BECAUSE, it’s worth taking care of. - So that’s where my BIG goal comes into this challenge... It’s to cut OUT the negative self-talk from EVERYONE. (Probably mostly, me.) Introducing the new garden!

Photos taken in July 2020 when the garden was bursting with green and very leafy. The first picture shows the view of the front hedge facing the road.  We attacked the huge bramble which was taking over the space and gave the hawthorn, beech and lilacs room to breathe and access to light. The rhododendron got cut back and will be shaped into more of a ball than a flat splurge. You can see the old shed in the penultimate image (new shed arriving in Feb!) and the view into the back garden with the gate. I kept wood for kindling in the winter. Has proved very useful!
