•••▪︎ New Forest Sunrise ▪︎•••⁠ Aka the sunrise that wasn't meant to happen.. According to the Met Office it was going to be a pretty dull and grey morning so I didnt bother leaving the house with any kind of urgency to get anywhere for sunrise. As I was driving into the New Forest, I noticed a dark red glow in my rear view mirror, which was obviously amazing, but pretty annoying at the same time. Shnrise and sunset are short here, so I had to find somewhere picturesque asap. Unfortunately I had no idea where to go and I was in a place full of trees.. Somewhere with a pond, or even a puddle would have been nice to get some reflection! My somewhat aimless drive brought me to a tiny pond, but I couldn't get any good angles or compositions (until a bit later). So I decided to just enjoy sunrise and started wandering... When I was almost back at the car, I noticed the sun bursting through the trees opposite the car park. That would have to do.
