Greetings and salutations! My name is Liana and I am 25 years old, female and I am DESPERATE for an 18+ RP partner. I’ve been RP-ing for over twelve years now and there are still so many plots and ideas that I haven’t played out yet. And I’m sure if you’re searching for an RP partner it’s the same case with you. So I’m just gonna go ahead and list a few fandoms I would LOVE to dive into. But before that a few things to keep in mind:

• I only do mxf where I can play either the male or the female.

• Long-Term RP partners only! And please don’t just message me and disappear.

• I can play most characters asked of me. Though you might have to give me a couple of days to get into that character’s headspace.

• Communication is KEY! We have to keep that channel open. Saying that please don’t be pushy when it comes to plots you would like done. If I’m not comfortable with it I’ll say so. And if you’re not comfortable with a plot then tell me so that we can work our way around it.

• Expect me to rant, fangirl and scream over pairings and OC x canon pairings. But then you are more then welcome to do the same as well! :D

• Doubling isn’t a definite must. But I don’t want to be stuck with just playing the male character. But I would prefer that we each pick out a fandom the other is familiar with and we each play one canon and oc or canon and canon, whatever fits best!

• Since I am over 18 NSFW content will be in the plot line though not the main focus. Unless the plot calls for it. Please do NOT contact me if you only wish to write smut. And do NOT contact me if you are not above 18. Some plots MIGHT involve nsfw content so I would prefer my rp partner be above 18.

• No incest. And characters who are underage will be aged up for the sake of the plot.

• I can go from romance to adventure. Angst to fluff. And everything else in between!

• Plot! Plot! Plot! I love plotting. But I don’t want to be the only one coming up with ideas. Equal contribution is the only way to keep the ball rolling.

• I won’t be available 24/7. There are days when I am really busy because of work. But just because I don’t reply doesn’t think I’ve forgotten. I do remember! I just need to find time.

• Speaking of time, my time zone is GMT+5.

• Mediums for RP-ing are Discord. My main Tumblr is the one in submitting this post from. We can exchange the rest of the information since I don’t want to put my contact out there. Previous bad experience.

• Please please please have a good grasp on the English language. Though it’s my second language I’m quite good at it and I want a partner who is just as good. My brain automatically starts picking out mistakes in whatever text I read and I hate doing that when I’m trying to enjoy a good reply.

• Writing format paragraph style. Third person point of view.

• I do canonxoc. But there might be one or two fandoms where I am willing to do canonxcanon. Example Miraculous Ladybug or Harry Potter.

• I promise I’m not a scary person. I know you’re probably thinking I have a lot of rules but I just want to make sure I get all this basic information out. Hopefully I didn’t forget anything! You can always ask me by sending an IM to my tumblr!

Listed are the characters I would LOVE to play against which will be quite a bit. But it doesn’t mean I won’t be any less excited for other pairings or characters! And I’m not listing them with any first or second preference is mind. I’d be happy to play against any of the listed really.

𝔬𝔲𝔱 𝔬𝔣 𝔥𝔢𝔩𝔩. Oh hell yeh! Question time! I threw your answers down below a lil read more because I’m what the kids like to call?? A rambler.

1). What does your writing process look like?

A mess?? Lmao nah;;; So, honestly it depends on what I’m writing, how long I’m going to be continuing the story revolving around it, and what my current mood is. In general, I am a person who has a hard time sticking to one particular style or approach because I just get bored of it a lot. I find it a lot of fun to come at writing in many different ways and I’ve found that it’s helped me really explore what I do and don’t like for each genre or character that I attempt to tackle.

That being said, though, I tend to have at least a couple consistencies. Basically, when I’m writing replies, the most important questions I ask myself tend to be;

What is my character’s reaction to what just happened?

What have I written that actively engages the other writer and/or their character?

Have I actually described the scene or merely provided dialogue?

Will this thread carry for at least two more replies and, if not, should I end it or can I add something to make it keep going?

I’ll go ahead and give you some examples using writing that I’ve previously written to paint what I mean with each of them. For the first point, that’s the one that most people I’ve seen tend to have the best grip on, obviously. People who do roleplay tend to really know their own characters and can write them really compellingly. Most of the time, this part of the writing comes from the other player setting up a question or scenario and my character basically engaging with it. Typically, reactions tend to be the first thing I’ll actually be the first thing I put into a reply and I think that they are really important to keeping a fluid transition from one character to the next.

In the above example, you can kinda see what I’m talking about. Basically, Izzy made Gwen say something and Billy here gave a very basic response to it. Most of the time, I find dialogue or verbal responses are the best because usually the other character should pick up on them, but I like mixing in physical reactions and more internal monologues alongside those verbal responses. Sometimes, if two characters are in tune enough with each other, it actually can be really rad to get away with only physical reactions and internal dialogues, but that often requires a certain connection and history between characters to make accurate conclusions about what might be going through their head. Here is a great example between one of my mains and Nay from my old blog.

Basically, Nay notices that Oswald is probably getting emotional over the fact they’re standing in front of this grave and looks down to get a better idea of who Oswald is getting so upset over. Oswald then follows his line of sight to the headstones, themselves. It’s a more sad scene, so not only is the lack of actual verbal responses very fun to play with, it’s also much more appropriate for the tone of the thread. This is something I love to try and play with a lot, but I avoid doing it as much with people who I have not already threaded with a few times.

After that, I then have to try to actively engage the other writer or create an opportunity for them to add to the thread as well. Especially when writing with someone new or for whom you may not have an immediate chemistry with, it becomes very important to throw them a bone, so I usually will do this as a follow up. I personally don’t love using questions to carry a thread, but it can be a good way to give an explicit indication of how the other person can contribute to it and it can be a lot more comfortable for people who are new to interacting with me and may be hesitant to just throw new ideas at me without having an extensive conversation about it. Here is an example where Naomasa responded to a question that Oboro poses and interacts with a nonverbal.

These first two bullets are what I usually consider the meat of the reply, so the most work is put into them. Everything else is filler and tends to be what actually makes the replies prettier and more interesting. In many cases, adding the last two can even happen naturally when you are trying to come up with ways to do the former, but it’s still something I keep in mind to look out for when I’m writing. Of the four points, I think that the one I probably struggle with the most is the one that revolves around describing the scene and I think that has been what’s kept me from reaching that multi-para/novella goal that I really wanna be able to do when writing threads, but I’ve been putting in more work to try and get on top of that one.

The final point is basically just thinking about what I can add to try and keep a thread engaging. This is when I really tend to bring in that plot and start advancing it. Introducing a conflict or a new activity in the scene that might not have otherwise been relevant before now can really revive a thread and I tend to do that a lot if I feel like a thread is dying out too quickly. Sometimes it takes, sometimes it doesn’t but it’s basically just my way of jumpstarting an interaction I feel like didn’t have enough substance to get off the ground in the first place. The example for this one is between Naomasa and Jasper - Yes, I know it’s the same person, again, but it’s because Fabgen is ridiculously good at doing the whole “yes and” thing and really we should all just take some time to appreciate them - in which the two of them are both responding to a crisis of some kind. I had felt the nature of the thread hadn’t given them a concrete way to continue to interact with each other, so I made up a random conflict that they both could work! In this case, it was some random kid running into danger.

After ALL of that, basically the last thing I tend to do for a thread is proofread and format. In a perfect world, I’d actually do the whole proofreading thing more often, but lmao nah. Basically, tldr, my writing process when doing threads is:

1). Respond to what the other person says. 2). Give them something to respond to. 3). Introduce a new plot point as necessary. 4). Fill in scene details and revise as necessary.

If you read back on my old threads, you’ll probably notice most of them follow this linear outline. Sometimes I’ll switch a couple things around, but 95% of the time you can literally cut my replies pretty into these parts without too much trouble. Also yall should go check out the people in these example threads because they’re all very talented and worth interacting with!!

13). What do you look for in an RP partner?

Hmm.... An excellent question let’s see...

Typically, these are things that make or break rp relationships:

Have concise rules/ooc pages that includes information such as their name, their pronouns, their age and their triggers. For certain fandoms, I also tend to look for stances on certain major discourse points.

Have the ability to para or multi-para threads and 3rd person POV. We don’t have to always do this, but I do really prefer this kind of RP.

Have the ability to participate in joke/crack posting

Read my character info or at least my rules before interacting with me. I know they are long and tedious and that I tend to ramble, but there are some important things in there that may vastly differ from many other people in the RPC and it’s important to me that everyone takes those things into account when engaging with me.

Have discord for OOC conversations and extended plotting or, at the very least, be comfortable chatting regularly via IM.

Follow me. It’s not necessary to interact with me and I 100% will interact with people who are not mutuals, but I typically tend to assume others around me are mutuals only regardless of whether or not they actually are and it’ll often put most of the responsibility on the other person to come interact with me if they want to thread.

I tend to main with people who will have OOC conversations with me about our characters and who are willing to adapt to fit into the settings / verses which I have already created for my characters. I am always seeking out familial relationships of ANY kind and will usually be quick to main people who do these kinds of threads with me. I do have ships for many of my characters that I tend to indulge in, but my mains tend to be people who actually get me to start shipping something because the characters just ended up vibing so well. I actually really love shipping my bi male characters with women, but there just really aren’t enough ladies in any of the RPCs to have lasting ships ;;y;;, so if we are able to get one going, I’d probably consider maining with ya’ll

I tend to like people who like continuous threads and verse building. I tend to like people who don’t mind having a million unfinished threads. I tend to gravitate to people who do formatting and icons, but I do not require it. I tend to shy away from people who are too self-concious about doubles or who tend to prefer being exclusive.

Overall, I’m open to at least trying to rp with everyone! And I’ve definitely formed lasting friendships with people who did not meet many of this criteria, but in terms of what I look for this is probably a pretty good list.

this is an independent, private, & selective roleplay blog for the character sam winchester from the cw’s supernatural, & the character in no way belongs to me; just my writing, headcanons & portrayal, etc.

please do not follow this blog if you ship / don’t mind incest / pedophilia, plain & simple.

i go by jean, i’m 19, & use she / they pronouns.

my muse

season 1 & season 2 focused ( however, i’m willing to be flexible here & there should the need arise, but just because i tend to stick to earlier seasons does not mean if your muse is from later seasons that i won’t interact with you; supernatural is a crazy show & pretty much anything is possible, so don’t let my early portrayal dissuade you from interacting with me <3 )

however, along with the above, i am 100% willing to write in later seasons upon request & / or should the muse for it strike ( which is 100% unpredictable lol ), so while this blog will be heavily focused on season 1 & 2 as main verses, you can keep the aforementioned in mind when interacting with me if you have later season-based plot ideas you’d like to work with / can’t really figure out how our muses can interact otherwise / just prefer interacting with later seasons vs the early ones — just make sure to specify if this is the case, as i will otherwise ( unless muse dictates differently ) use sam’s main verses in season 1 & 2 when interacting.

activity

my attention span kinda sucks, so i will most likely write pretty sporadically & purely on whims half the time. if i haven’t replied or answered something in a while, know it’s nothing personal; i’m just taking my time until i feel good about what i can put down.

along the same vein, full disclaimer: i might drop a few threads here & there if i end up overwhelming myself. i will try not to, but it might happen due to the above information & i’d like to apologize in advance for that. if you’re wondering if i’ve dropped a thread with you, feel free to im me & ask if you want to make sure!

while this blog isn’t a technical sideblog, it is in concept, & in order to keep my activity consistent on my other rp blogs, i might be very slow at times on this one.

because of the above, i’m also somewhat selective with who i rp with. i want to be careful not to bite off more than i can chew, & though i don’t want to exclude anyone, for the sake of pacing myself, most of my activity will be reserved for mutuals only.

i reserve the right to drop threads with / unfollow / block anyone for whatever reason; i don’t plan on exercising this left & right, but it’s an option i might need at some point for my own comfort.

ocs / crossovers / duplicates are always welcome!

mains are allowed, but it’s undecided if i’m open to exclusives at the moment.

etiquette

the basics; no godmodding, please cut your threads, continue asks in new posts, etc, & no stealing of any personal concepts of mine. loose inspiration is fine, of course, but if i see repeated similarities, i may or may not approach you about it.

shipping

predictably, i ship sam / chemistry, but otherwise i’m 100% down for shipping, so feel free to shoot me an im if you’d like to plot something out between our muses! however, romantic shipping will not be a big priority on this blog due to my own personal preferences, as well as sam being a pretty cagey person.

while the mun of this blog is 18+, smut just really isn’t my thing; referenced ‘ offscreen ’, as it were, nsfw content is fine, maybe fade to black / time skips, but for the most part, you won’t find roleplayed smut on this blog.

as a side note, i prefer to rp with muns who are also 18+ for the sake of my own comfort, but this is a super flexible rule if i find myself wanting to rp with you regardless.

i primarily use small text for aesthetic purposes, but feel free to format however you like, just know that i’ll probably at least edit your text to small text simply for the sake of my blog aesthetic, but if you have a problem with that, feel free to tell me!

icons will be used mostly, but i’ll match your format if you go iconless! ( credit to beaudiable & little-luna on hollowart & the gem that is fidelissimi for my icons )

i’m sorry but in order to keep my notifs clean & tidy, i’ll be softblocking most personals if you follow me. nothing against you guys, it just ends up a bit messy if i don’t.

triggers

sam canonically brushes shoulders with if not actively participates in very triggering concepts, & my portrayal will be true to that. this blog will be trigger heavy in that regard, containing themes such as depression, self harm, disordered eating, nightmares, blood, gore, violence, death / dead bodies, gruesome deaths / torture, disturbing themes such as blood drinking, exorcisms, possession, rituals, religious themes, general horror, etc, as according to canon. i will not go into unnecessary detail concerning these, but i won’t be skimming over them either, so please proceed with caution when you follow, if you follow at all.

if any of these things disturbs you, it’d be best that you didn’t, though, for your own peace of mind. due to how prevalent this content will be, it’s unlikely that things won’t fall through the cracks even though i will be trying to tag everything appropriately ( cw trigger // ). however, if one of these triggers stands out to you especially, i am willing to make an extra effort in order to rp with you. <3

INTRODUCING…. wanted plots.

oh wOW alright so i’m gonna be basic for a second and tell y’all that i fucking love angst. i mean, fluff’s great and all, but my heart truly lies with the gritty, toxic, dysfunctional, and fucked up. i’m also a huge fan of anything having to do with crime so if you ever wanna do any crime plots come my way !!! it’s also no secret that i’m a very big fan of age gaps ( obvs not with minors because GROSS ). but seriously, give me everything. friends or exes or enemies to lovers, two toxic people that know they should walk away from each other but can’t live without the other, criminals on the run, any kind of criminal or bad influence with pure characters that have hearts made of gold, characters that go through something horrible together and become each other’s lifeline because they’re the only ones that understand, secret and / or taboo relationships, slowburn and unrequited love, exes that reconnect under literally any kind of circumstances, etc. i’ll link some good examples of my favorite plots so you can get a feel for what i’m describing !!!

i’m also always down for plots away from the romantic side of things. i LOVE giving my characters ride or dies, enemies, exes, family, or anything else you can think of. the more unique the connection the better !! legit one of the best relationships i ever played out in an rp was between carcosa and another girl. totally platonic, but it was such a rich and fucked up dynamic that was full of toxicity and power struggles and manipulation and backstabbing, but also drunken benders and risky adventures and late night confessions, and those were easily some of the funnest threads and plotting sessions i’ve ever had. so please, like i said, give me all of the connections.

tbh i hope to get a lot of things out of this group. i’m hoping to find a safe space to let my creativity run wild and a home for my muses where they can constantly grow and develop through interactions with other characters, in-depth plots, and my own exploration the more i write with them. i’m also hoping this will be a good opportunity to make friends, since i’m very much a loner and some of the best people i’ve met have been through the world of roleplaying. i definitely want to push my muses and challenge myself to be a better writer here, and i hope to help out those of you that are seeking the same things in your journey !! i’m already planning on adding some more muses in the very near future ( because i have ZERO impulse control ), and as far as future plans for plots go i want EVERYTHING. romantic, enemies, exes, familial, platonic, and literally anything in between. i would definitely love some slowburn ships where our characters don’t just fall in love overnight. i’d also be so down for exploring the dynamics of age gap relationships. not just the taboo aspect of them but like the differences in generations, the potential repercussions, the ups and downs and the times where they’re not sure if they can make it work.

i mean who hasn’t felt like saying fuck it to the rpc ??? i’ve been rping for several years, about six of those years have been on tumblr and as much love as i can have for this community at times, most days it’s just fucking exhausting. i feel like it’s mostly become a very toxic, judgmental, and honestly shallow place. i hate the expectation groups put on members these days with activity checks and whatnot because honestly who even has the time to write every single day ????? or y’know sometimes we just don’t feel like it ?????? i know for me personally between my mental health and irl responsibilities i just don’t have the time or energy to be on every two days. and plus a lot of them are cliquey af or die in a week or are riddled with petty drama so i tend to avoid them altogether. i joined the indie community in hopes of rping on my terms and while i def feel like that was a step in the right direction, it’s still a very exclusive community at times and i’ve had difficulty fitting in. there’s still a lot of ugliness towards female ocs or muns that exclusively play females and tbh i’m over it ??? i decided to give this group a try because i love the idea of the indie format but in a group, making it easier to plot with people and put yourself out there. tl;dr i decided to say fuck it because the community’s gone downhill and i needed a change.

Greetings and salutations! My name is Lian and I am 24 years old, female and I am DESPERATE for an RP partner. I’ve been RP-ing for over ten years now and there are still so many plots and ideas that I haven’t played out yet. And I’m sure if you’re searching for an RP partner it’s the same case with you. • Doubling is a definite must unless you prefer playing just male which I’m alright with! But I don’t want to be stuck with just playing the male character. Hopefully it sounds fair.

• Doubling does not mean there has to be doubling in the same fandom. We can pick different fandoms.

• Since I am over 18 NSFW content will be in the plot line though not the main focus. Unless the plot calls for it.
