Season 3 had flaws and does not compete with the first two, however, it had the merit of retaining the spirit of this relationship. It had the merit of making its two main characters fallible, weakened, troubled, without making them too stubborn or pitiful.

So yes, some things have been botched.

Yes there are very few scenes where we see Eve and Villanelle interact but all, without exception, keep their dignity in their doubts and their sufferings.

Even Carolyn, even Konstantin.

They were in character.

They were there, glorious, magnificent.

Season 3 was a turning point towards a new dynamic, towards decision-making, towards awareness.

She was a bearer of hope for the future.

What a disappointment then.
