The central railway station of Ludwigshafen is rather weird. It is a crossing station from the 1960s where two rail lines cross each other and due to that it has who platform levels on top of each other. And on top of it all is an urban highway on a viaduct. Also the station is a little outside of the city center in a no-mansland of urban motorways and rail yards. It is a very dead and desolate place.
