Good morning on the last day of this first ever Greysnow week! Today is an extra day that we pay the iron price for, so I'm continuing that theme by shamelessly reccing OUR fics today.
Near Mint (surface marks do not affect play) by MymbleHowl @st-clements-steps
Rating: E
Summary: All Time Top 5 Break-ups (in chronological order)
1. Robb
2. Jeyne Poole
3. Renly Baratheon
4. Kyra and Patrek
5. Gilly
Jon Snow is not getting into the Top 5.
Dany says: Where do I start with this gem? It's the High Fidelty AU I had no idea I needed until @st-clements-steps came up with it and then I was already gone, hook, line and sinker. The title in itself is already genius, but then when you read further that pales in comparison to how fucking brilliant this is. The AU is perfectly translated and all our beloved characters and their stories drafted for the fic fit seamlessly. All the Top 5s are hilarious and relatable and/or discussable, and inside all of that you have two sad boys who need to find their way back to each other ♥️ Please do yourself a favour and go read it, and then go and read all of the author's works, because Greysnow or not, her way with words is one of the most unique and fascinating things I've ever encountered.
Mirror at the Wall by @selkiewife
Rating: M
Summary: Theon is reunited with a resurrected Jon at Castle Black. Jon has suffered significant memory disturbances and Theon must help him remember who he is.
Dany says: This. Fic. Is. SPECTACULAR. Two men, broken beyond recognition, but still there, still alive and now reunited after being through the wars - and they do recognize each other (sobs galore!!) The attention to both Jon and Theon's characters is stunning, the descriptions gritty and evocative, the whole AU idea so so SO good. Special mention to Satin, the true MVP. 2 more chapters of this masterpiece are coming, and I couldn't be more thrilled! Go and read and subscribe and bookmark, you won't regret it one bit.
Law of the North by theonsfavouritetoy, aka @owlsinathens, aka – well, me
Rating: E
Summary: Balon Greyjoy has once again declared himself king, sealing his son's fate in the North. Jon doesn't like Theon, never has – but he also cannot stand aside and watch an innocent man being put to death. So he decides to do something that'll change everything.
Dany says: I had a really hard time trying to choose one out of my 100+ Greysnow works (I have either too much time or too little self-control, or both), but in the end I decided to go with my longest fic (so far, I'm pretty sure 1x1 will be double that in the end). I can't objectively say anything about the quality, but I can tell you it was a blast to write and I still love everything about this fic.
....you know what? Since I'm paying the iron price, I'll be even more shameless and rec another of my fics.
Tighter by theonsfavouritetoy aka me
Rating: E
Summary: Theon carefully exhales, feeling his ribs expand against the fabric enclosing his torso, safe and comforting, and yet…
“Tighter.”
Dany says: So, there's this corset in a world where corsets don't exist, and from there everything snowballed and took on a life of its own, resulting in a massive project of a post-GoT Theon lives AU that I'm still in the process of tackling (Using this chance to say that the next ch of 1x1 is in the works). And it all started with Tighter. Which is a fantastic ficlet, and I'm only cringing a little saying that out loud. Please go read it 😏

in your opinion is jaime partly responsible for what happened to jeyne poole
... how is jaime responsible for jeyne poole when he didn’t even know who she was and she ended up in LF’s brothel with tywin/cersei’s complacency and by the time he knew that arya stark wasn’t arya she was already gone??? like at most he told brienne to not go after her but if the point was the two of them saving catelyn’s children/holding up their oath to cat ofc he sent her to look for sansa and not arya who he had assumed dead like everyone else? and what was he going to do, tell brienne to run after someone who’s neither sansa nor arya risking her cover for nothing while creating a political mess bc if *arya stark* didn’t get to WF there’d be issues since the entire alliance with the boltons was hinging on it and anyway it wasn’t his decision?
like there’s a lot of people responsible for what happened to jeyne poole and jaime isn’t even in the top five nor even in the top ten most likely

Daenerys offered both of her hands out to help the other woman to her feet. “I keep finding the women in the North are as lovely as the land,” she said. Warmly grasping her hands, as she looked at her. There was a look in her eyes that Daenerys recognized. A look she had herself years ago, frightened, sold to Drogo, sore, hurt, used.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, I believe Lady Sansa told me your name was Jeyne?”

Chapters of A Song of Ice & Fire - A Dance With Dragons - Theon I In the songs, the hero always saved the maiden from the monster's castle, but life was not a song, no more than Jeyne was Arya Stark. Her eyes are the wrong color. And there are no heroes here, only whores. Even so, he knelt beside her, pulled down the furs, touched her cheek. "You know me. I'm Theon, you remember. I know you too. I know your name."

Add the phantom fetus in Jeyne W’s womb to the list of women with better odds of ruling Winterfell than Sansa. 🧠🚫
If it’s a girl, they simply marry her to Rickon. (Marrying cousins is only wrong when it’s Jonsa, right? Rickon being 5 years old and Jeyne’s foodbaby not even born yet is no problem and far more likely.)
*disappointed sigh*
Boy, that was a roller coaster. Thank you anon, I loved it.
Let's see.
1.
"As you will." Jaime turned to the daughter. "I am sorry for your loss. The boy had courage, I'll give him that. There is a question I must ask you. Are you carrying his child, my lady?"
Jeyne burst from her chair and would have fled the room if the guard at the door had not seized her by the arm. "She is not," said Lady Sybell, as her daughter struggled to escape. "I made certain of that, as your lord father bid me."
x
The girl smiled at that. "My mother says the same. She makes a posset for me, herbs and milk and ale, to help make me fertile. I drink it every morning. I told Robb I'm sure to give him twins. An Eddard and a Brandon. He liked that, I think. We . . . we try most every day, my lady. Sometimes twice or more." The girl blushed very prettily. "I'll be with child soon, I promise. I pray to our Mother Above, every night."
Enough said? Do I have to point out the second passage appears right after all the tansy business?
2.
Timeline.
I forget who originally pointed this out when we discussed it (@agentrouka-blog?) - it would be nearly impossible for Jeyne to not be showing when she encounters Jaime in AFFC.
At the very least, Jeyne and her mother would know she's pregnant. So why the hell would she burst from her chair and attempt to flee the room sobbing at that question?
I think that covers it.
How pissed off am I that I didn't include Jeyne's offspring in my Queen in the North office pool? I can't even clown right.

Fic Writer Interview
I was tagged by @salty-wench thank you!
Name: Rachel, littlerocker on AO3
Fandoms: ASOIAF/Game of Thrones
Where you post: AO3
Most popular one-shot: Give You What You Like, a (angsty?) modern AU Jonsatin were Satin is a prostitute and Jon’s been spending many nights with him to ease his sorrow after he lost his girlfriend. But he’s Jon, so he fucks up at some point. It’s my first and only (for now) Jonsatin one shot, I just found out it’s actually my most popular but I’m really happy about it!
Most popular multi-chapter: Losing My Religion, modern AU throbb (+ Jon/OMC) where Robb’s the legal guardian of Jon, Bran and Rickon and Theon’s an illustrator who hates kids but has to be a “teacher” (very kind of) for some time at Jon’s high school.
Favourite story I’ve written so far: I’m pretty much aware Losing My Religion is totally OOC in every kind of way. That’s what happens when you begin a fic when you’re only halfway through a show that didn’t get not even one character right and you had barely started the very first book. But I have a soft spot in my heart for it, it’s the longest thing I’ve ever written. It has its (many) flaws but I’m proud of it. Special mention to Don’t Go Chasing Dolphin Pools because writing about Robb being a total dork is amazing.
Fic you were nervous to post: Head Above Water. It’s probably my most angsty fic and I don’t consider myself good at writing angst. And in this (it’s a throbb, jonmund and gendrya modern AU) Theon is a victim of domestic violence, so I was always really nervous to write it/post it. It’s been on hiatus for a while now, but every time I think about it I just want to go back writing it. Someday I’ll get there.
How do you choose your titles: it’s always song lyrics. I usually can’t manage to begin writing my plot bunny if I haven’t found a fitting song lyrics title for it first.
Do you outline: meh. Sometimes I write down a list of chapters and summarize what I want to make happen in them but I always end up writing what I feel like writing when I’m writing. Yet I’m trying really hard to keep up with the mental scheme I’ve created for Losing My Religion otherwise it’ll never be over: as I always like to mention, I was planning a Xmas chapter to happen around chapter 30 and it turned out to be released only on chapter 50 or something like that. Idk.
Complete: lol. Oh hey wait, I’m almost done with Don’t Go Chasing Dolphin Pools, only one chapter left. Wow. Never thought I’d get there.
In progress: LMR & DGCDP hopefully I’ll go back to writing Need For Respite  (Throbb and Jonsatin spy!au) and Head Above water once I’m done with at least dgcdp.
Coming soon/not yet started: I have no idea if it’s going to come out soon. I’m quite nervous about it. I’ve barely started writing it. I’ve posted about this plot bunny about Theon being a photographer (taking erotic pictures only because he’s Theon so duh) and asking Robb to pose for him. It turned out (in my head) in a 4 chapters fic with ch.1 Theon/Satin, ch.2 Jon/Satin, ch.3 Theon/Robb, ch.4 Theon/Satin/Jon/Robb. Jon and Robb would not interact with each other but they’d still be in the same bed while things are happening. I don’t know if that still counts as incest, that’s why I’m nervous. That and the fact that I can’t write porn.
Prompts: I would like to see more of Throbb and Jonsatin in the same fic. Maybe about them going on double dates. About you asking me prompts, instead, I’m super glad to hear about your parents throbb suggestions. I have a a series about throbb as parents. I usually post here when I’m free and could take prompts but if you want to send me some requests anyway feel free to do it, I’ll add it to a prompt list. I just don’t know when they’ll come out.
Upcoming work you’re most excited about: that’s a good question. I don’t know. Although I’d really like to write about Dagmer as Theon’s foster dad. I was planning on making it a summer au where he meets Robb at some point. Or Theon and Jeyne being foster siblings. Like, Theon is in his mid 20s and has taken full custody of Jeyne (who’s in her teens) and then boom, Jeyne/Sansa and throbb. Or maybe Theon and Satin being foster siblings since I’ve been writing about them in Need For Respite ad it’d be an interesting dynamic. Idk. I should start writing before getting excited.
I’ll tag the same two people I always tag: @estrangedandwayward and @lesbiangrimalkin if you guys want to do this.

Reunion For The Ages (Arya X Gendry week Day 3: Reunion)
So I know the Wednesday for us east coasters is 30 minutes away, but I can’t wait that long to post my next Gendrya fic for axg week. So I’m breaking the rules...just a little and posting it early. Hope you enjoy this comedic/fluff fic!
Arya paced in front of his door for nearly thirty minutes before she got the courage to knock. she hadn't seen him in nearly a year and a half. Sure, they emailed, letters, and even texted throughout that year, but that still didn't mean that she wasn't nervous. In fact, she was bloody terrified. She hadn’t been this scared since she was a girl of only nine years old and her older brothers took her to a haunted attraction.
Arya shook the nerves from her hands and took a deep breath before walking up to his door. She lifted her fist and knocked fiercely.
A couple of minutes passed before the door to his house swung open.
“You’re not Gendry.” Arya said as she stared at the blonde woman who opened the door.
“No, I’m Alyse. Who are you?” She inquired. She had the type of voice that Arya had hated. That high-pitched whine of a voice that reminded her so much of Jeyne Poole.
“I’m Arya, Gendry’s…friend.” She said slowly.
Alyse’s eyes widened as she immediately pulled her into a hug. Arya was taken aback by the gesture and remained still as the blonde embraced her.
“So, you’re the infamous Arya Stark! I’ve heard so much about you! Please come in!”
Arya scoffed, “That’s funny, because I’ve never even heard of you.”
Alyse chuckled, “I suppose he wouldn’t have mentioned me. We’ve just began dating. Going on six months in just a few days.”
A fake smile formed on Arya’s lips. Who ever this Alyse girl was, Arya sure didn’t like her.
Alyse rounded the corner, leading Arya into the dining room. She gestured her to sit when a loud bark came from the living room. Arya turned her head and a genuine smile creeped onto her face. Trudging up to her was her beloved Husky mix, Nymeria.
“Oh, Nymeria! I’ve missed you so much!” Arya exclaimed while petting Nymeria on the head.
She bent down to Nymeria’s level and allowed the dog to lick her face profusely.
“I bet she smelt you the moment you walked in. She is a sweet dog, although she doesn’t let me get around Gendry when she’s with him.” Alyse said as she set a glass of water on the table in front of her.
“Mmm, she doesn’t like strangers. Isn’t that right my sweet girl?” Arya mused.
Alyse laughed and Arya knew that it was a fake one.
“So, what brings you back to King’s Landing?” Alyse inquired.
Arya took a sip of her water before answering, “I need to speak to Gendry about something.”
She hoped that Alyse would drop the conversation, but of course she didn’t.
“About what?”
“That’s really none of your business.” It came out hasher than Arya intended.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to pry, it’s just this visit seems all so sudden.”
Arya stared at the woman, a visible face of disgust forming on her face. She really didn’t like this Alyse girl, and she would make sure she knew.
“You know, you don’t seem like the girl’s Gendry dates.” Arya sweetly said.
Alyse’s eyebrow perked, “Really, and why is that?”
Arya shrugged, “Because you’re blonde. He really goes for the brunettes, so this,” Arya motioned her hands up and down gesturing towards Alyse, “Is surprising.”
Arya could tell that she hit a chord with Alyse because her next question was, “How many other girls has he been with?”
“Oh, you don’t need to know that!” Arya dismissed.
“Oh, but I really do.” Alyse pushed.
Perfect, Arya thought, Now I can have a little fun.
In all reality, Arya knew exactly how many women Gendry had been with. There was a total of three, including herself.
“Well, let’s see…there was Jeyne, Isobel, Halley, Carter, Dove, Dawn, Cassie and I think that’s it. Oh! Wait, I almost forgot, we were together for a time.” Arya said nonchalantly.
Alyse nearly chocked on her water, “Excuse me? He never mentioned being in a relationship with you.”
Arya laughed, “We weren’t in a relationship, we just hooked up a couple of times. In fact, he took my virginity. I was 18 and he had already had some experience. I wanted to lose it before I decided to travel the world, so I asked him. I trusted him and who better than to do it with than someone you trust.”
Everything that Arya had told her was the truth. She knew that her prior romps with Gendry would get under Alyse’s skin, especially since they were still friends.
“And that’s the only time you two were together?”
“Oh no, we had sex at least two more times after that. Once on my 21st birthday and the next was right before I left for my job back in Bravvos.” Again, it was the truth.
“So, you two were together a year or so ago.” Alyse was trying to put the pieces together.
“Yep.” Arya said, popping the ‘p.’
“But don’t worry, we are just friends.” Arya assured her.
Alyse slowly nodded, “Right, just friends.”
The two women sat in silence as they waited for Gendry to return home. Arya had successfully made Alyse uncomfortable and it was a joy for Arya to see her squirm with uneasiness.
Arya continued to pet Nymeria; it guided with passing the time. She even scrolled through her social media, which she didn’t do often.
It was nearly an hour after their conversation, that both heard the jingle of keys at the front door. Gendry had finally made it home from work and wanted nothing more than to have a bottle of ale and sit on the couch with Nymeria in his lap. He surely wasn’t expected two women to be seated at his dinning room table.
“What the fu-” He stopped mid-sentence as soon as his eyes landed on hers.
“Arya! What is the seven bloody hells are you doing here? Why didn’t you call me, I would have picked you up!” He said as he ran over to where she was sitting.
She quickly rose from her seat to meet his embrace. She took in his scent and it was still the same as when she left a little over a year ago.
“I wanted to surprise you! A reunion for the ages.” She shrugged.
Gendry laughed, “Well I am toughly surprised and a reunion it was!”
The two friends laughed and reminisced, that is until Alyse cleared her throat from behind them.
“Hello, I’m still here.” She waved.
Gendry grumbled, “Alyse what are you doing here?”
“Well, you said that you wanted to talk, so I decided to stop by.”
Gendry sighed, “Right, we are supposed to talk tomorrow. And how did you even get in here? You know what, it doesn’t matter. Can you please leave? I said we would speak tomorrow.”
“But honey cakes!” She whined.
Arya tried to conceal a laugh but failed miserably.
“Gods! What kind of pet name is that?”
Gendry shot her a glare and she immediately covered her mouth. She looked over at Alyse to see crocodile tears streaming down her face.
“Alyse, please.” Gendry stated once more.
Alyse nodded and grabbed her things, running out of the door sobbing. Gendry sighed in relief and immediately turned to Arya.
“Don’t. Just…don’t.” He shrugged off his coat and placed it on the hanger beside the door. He then grabbed the two water glasses from the table and placed them into the sink.
Arya watched as he pulled two bottles of ale from the fridge, handing her one as he passed her to sit on his living room couch.
“So, what was that all about?” Arya asked as she gestured towards the door that Alyse had just ran out.
Gendry took a long sip from his ale, “She’s my ex.”
Arya nearly spit out her the ale in her mouth, “Your ex? Gods, she must be crazy! She said you two were dating.”
Gendry nodded, “Were. Past tense. I broke up with her about a month ago. She claims that she didn’t hear it and has been stalking me ever since. I was going to meet with her tomorrow to give her the restraining order I just got.”
“Hells, if I knew she was that bat shit crazy, I would have roughed her up for you.” Arya said as she took a sip from her ale.
Gendry laughed and Arya’s heart skipped at the sound of it. Even though she was gone only a year and half, she still missed the sound of his voice and laugh. With his job here in King’s Landing and her job in Bravvos, it left them little time to have actual phone conversations. Most of their communication resulted in texts and letters, so they really couldn’t divulge their personal lives as much as the wanted to.
“So, how have you been? Are you just visiting, or are you here for good?” Gendry asked her after some time in silence.
“I am here for good. I’ve miss home. I’ve miss you. Actually…. there was a reason to my surprise visit. I thought that if I told you that I was coming home then I would end up talking myself out of coming to see you because you were expecting it.” Arya began to say.
So much had happened while she was gone and there were things that she needed to tell him person. This was her chance to do so. Obviously, she wasn’t expecting his psycho ex to answer the door, but she was that she did. Arya probably wouldn’t have been able to face him if he was the one to answer it.
“Arya, what’s going on? Is everything alright?” Gendry noticed the sudden mood change in the atmosphere. He had seen Arya’s light-hearted expression turn into one of fear in a matter of seconds. It was so unlike Arya to be afraid or anything, so the fact that she was sitting across from, white as ghost concerned him.
Arya sighed. She pulled out her phone and pulled up the picture that she had taken just this morning. She figured showing him would be easier than telling him. She handed him the phone, which he took hesitantly.
He stared down at the picture that Arya had handed him, confusion etching his face.
“Arya, what am I staring at? Who is this kid?” he asked as he stared at the picture a little longer.
It was a baby, no more than six months old. She had coal black hair adorned with pink ribbons and ocean blue eyes.
“If you don’t see the resemblance, then you are more of an idiot than I thought you were.” She exclaimed.
“What are you saying, Arya?” Panic began to rise in his voice. As she stared at the picture, he began to realize that the child looked alarmingly like him.
“Her name is Norah, after your mother.” Arya simply stated.
“Norah…why does she have my mother’s name? How-” Sudden realization hit him like a ton of bricks. His gaze shifted to Arya’s and she nodded, confirming his suspicions.
“She’s your daughter. Our daughter.” Arya stated.
Gendry let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. He tried to do the calculations in his head and concluded that they conceived the child the night before Arya left to Bravvos.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” He sighed.
Arya twisted her hands. She was fiddling with the ring he had given her on her 15th birthday. He had made it in his steel working class. It had a wolf engraved on the side, Arya’s favorite animal. Ever since he had given it to her, she never took it off. Arya wasn’t the type to wear jewelry. In fact, the only pieces of jewelry she owned and wore were the ring, the bracelet and the necklace all made by Gendry. The bracelet was a Christmas gift given to her three years ago and the necklace was another birthday gift given just a few months before she left.
She kept fiddling with the ring and Gendry had to place his hands over her own to get her to stop. She looked up at him and she knew she needed to answer his questions.
“I didn’t tell you because I wasn’t planning on keeping her. We had been so careful all the other times that I though it was fluke. I couldn’t believe that we had been so reckless, but then again, we weren’t really paying attention that stuff. We just wanted to be together one last time before I left. When I found out I was completely terrified. I immediately rang Sansa to ask her how to cope with it, considering she’s married and has children of her own. She wasn’t much help; told me that it was my choice. I went to an abortion clinic, but when I got there I immediately walked out. So then, I decided to give her up for adoption. I decided that if I didn’t want to keep her that I would give her to a couple who couldn’t have children. Even as she stirred inside of me and I felt her kick, I was gung-ho on letting her go.” Arya paused and chuckled, a single tear cascading down her cheek, “But then I gave birth and I heard her cry. The nurse said not to look up, but you know me, I don’t listen. I looked up and I saw her. I saw her beautiful black hair and her sparkling blue eyes. I knew right there and then I could never part from her. When the time came for me to extend my contract with the company I was working for, I refused and caught the next flight out.”
Gendry wiped the tear from Arya’s face and cradled it in his hand. This woman in front of him, the woman he’s loved since he was a boy, was telling him that they had a child together. He should have been angry; livid even but seeing her so vulnerable pulled at his heart strings making it near impossible for him to explode.
“Arya, I wish you would have told me. I would have flown out in a heartbeat. I can’t imagine doing what you did while your whole family was thousands of miles away.” He said to her softly.
She sniffled and cleaned the dripping snot with the back of her hand, “So you’re not mad?”
Gendry chuckled, “I should be, but no, I’m not. I’m glad you told me. I can’t wait to meet her.”
Arya smiled, “You want to meet her? Does that mean you’ll be in her life?”
“Of course! I will be in both of your lives…if you’ll have me?”
Arya ginned from ear to ear. She swiftly nodded her head and jumped across the sofa, smashing her lips to his. She had been terrified of what he would think or do. She was certain that he would want nothing to do with them, but that wasn’t the Gendry Arya knew.
“Well,” he said as they pulled apart, “You weren’t kidding when you said this would be a reunion for the ages.”
Arya lightly punched him, “Shut up and kiss me.”
“As milady commands.” He said before capturing her lips one last time.

Dying Men, Priests, Samaritans & Ill Intents in ASOIAF
There was a man. He was traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho when he was set upon by men of ill intent. They stripped the traveler of his clothes, they beat him, and they left him bleeding in the dirt. And a priest happened by saw the traveler. But he moved to the other side of the road and continued on. And then a Levite, a religious functionary, he came to the place, saw the dying traveler. But he too moved to the other side of the road, passed him by. But then came a man from Samaria, a Samaritan, a good man. He saw the traveler bleeding in the road and he stopped to aid him without thinking of the circumstance or the difficulty it might bring him. The Samaritan tended to the traveler's wounds, applying oil and wine. And he carried him to an inn, gave him all the money he had for the owner to take care of the traveler, as the Samaritan, he continued on his journey. He did this simply because the traveler was his neighbor. He loved his city and all the people in it.
(What the hell does that mean?)
It means that I'm not the Samaritan. That I'm not the priest, or the Levite. That I am the ill intent who set upon the traveler on a road that he should not have been on.
One of my favourite moments in ‘Daredevil’ comes from the end of season one. It’s where Wilson Fisk, explains to a security force his story using a theological allegory. It’s effective, and meaningful. Fisk decides that he is the ‘ill intent’, not the Samaritian. It means alot for the show, for Wilson Fisk and the overall arching themes. It also reminds me of ASOIAF in a way.
We can establish the characters in his story includes
The dying man / traveller
The priest (who does nothing)
The Levite (who does nothing)
The Samaritan (who is a force of goodness, and helps the dying man)
The ‘ill intent’ (who is the reason why the man is dying in the first place)
So, who is who?
THE DYING MAN
Well, the first character to come to mind for the ‘dying man’ is Sandor Clegane. Not only do we have a scene of him physically dying in The Riverlands
She did the gash in his thigh first, then the shallower cut on the back of his neck. Sandor coiled his right hand into a fist and beat against the ground when she did his leg. When it came to his neck, he bit the stick so hard it broke, and she had to find him a new one. She could see the terror in his eyes. "Turn your head." She trickled the wine down over the raw red flesh where his ear had been, and fingers of brown blood and red wine crept over his jaw. He did scream then, despite the stick. Then he passed out from the pain. (Ch 74, ASOS)
Sandor’s also -left- to die. I don’t think, metaphorically Arya is the ‘ill intent’. (I’ll discuss her later in this meta). My focus here is on Sandor, and how he morphs into “The Gravedigger” (or if we are going by the show- “the broken man” identity). I think Sandor Clegane is rather suicidal and he is definately suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Whilst having those don’t make you ‘dying’ it does make you vulnerable. To quote Thoros Of Myr, ‘ Sandor Clegane was a man in torment.’
Travel also plays a huge role in his arc- from the King’s Landing location in ACOK to The Riverlands in ASOS / AFFC. Travelers, historically- can be naive and prone to being taken advantage of. I think this also applies to Sandor.
Another part of Sandor Clegane’s arc is dealing with the apathy of others- in this case, the ‘priests’ and ‘levites’. Joffrey and Cersei treat him horribly, and it’s Sansa, who is one of the very few people who try to reach out to him. There isn’t much indication in the first two books that Sandor Clegane had a strong relationship with The Faith Of The Seven, in fact he’s rather cynical about it. So overall, I think Sandor is the Dying Man. There’s a huge vulnerability to his character and I feel as if he is the best fit.
Another would be Bran Stark. Not only has he had trials and faced ‘ill intents’- from being pushed from the tower by Jaime Lannister, to having his family die and be seperated from the living members. He’s also travelled alot- and by A Dance With Dragons, is incredibly upset and even suicidal. The hospitality he gets by the Children Of The Forest is coded as rather spooky, untrustworthy and mysterious (hence the paste theories) and beyond The Wall is something out of a horror show, but it could be interpreted as Samaritan-like hospitality. Bran doesn’t encounter many travellers on his journey- not as many compared to the likes of Brienne and Arya. So that’s why I’d pick Sandor Clegane as the best example.
Theon Greyjoy, is a good fit in my opinion. The ‘ill intent’ is obviously Ramsay. Not only is Theon brutally tortured, but also deals with a degrading identity of ‘Reek’. He encounters many people who do nothing and do not care that he is being abused- numerous northern lords, for instance. They are the ‘priests’ in Theon’s arc. Is Theon dying? The cold is absolutely frightening, and his arc could take numerous directions. He’s a character who I feel is marked for death and sincerely believes he is going to die... only to find he will live.
A good female example for the ‘dying man’ would be Jeyne Poole. In a similar situation to Theon. An exception is that people are more invested in the abuse Ramsay is showing, but there is glaring ‘but’. People only care because Jeyne is “Arya”- Ned’s valiant daughter. Would people care for Jeyne if she had no disguise? That’s a rough question GRRM poses. And yeah, I think the answer would make us all uncomfortable.
PRIESTS & LEVITES
They both seem to be interchangable, and bare similarities. They both leave the Dying Man to die, and any attempts at pity ring false as they do not fully help him. Here apathy is a theme in ASOIAF, and also a theme in history, “when good men do nothing” (heavily discussed in a Post World War II-world). There are some instances of priests / levites
Lysa Arryn, her doing nothing in the War Of Five Kings
Kingsguard to Aerys II and Joffrey Baratheon
Barristan Selmy also considers the position of ‘knights’ (in particular, kingsguard) to have a role in general apathy
I took Robert's pardon, aye. I served him in Kingsguard and council. Served with the Kingslayer and others near as bad, who soiled the white cloak I wore. Nothing will excuse that. I might be serving in King's Landing still if the vile boy upon the Iron Throne had not cast me aside, it shames me to admit. But when he took the cloak the White Bull had draped about my shoulders, and sent men to kill me that selfsame day, it was as though he'd ripped a caul off my eyes. That was when I knew I must find my true king, and die in his service..
I think quite highly of Barristan in alot of regards, because he overcomes his apathy and qualms, in order to dedicate his life to something higher. So he is a good aversion to the ‘priest’- in Barristan’s version, he helps the dying man. He reflects quite frequently on him ‘doing nothing’ in his chapters in A Dance With Dragons:
He had seen things it pained him to recall, and more than once he wondered how much of the blood was on his own hands.
This also brings up a great philosophical question: if you leave the dying man to die, and he dies- is that blood on your hands? I think ASOIAF gives a clear answer - yes, it does. The series is about characters overcoming it, and becoming better citizens.
So who are the -straight forward- Priests & Levites in ASOIAF, besides Lysa Arryn? I’d also suggest Meryn Trant, who does not care, full stop.
Other men might have cursed her, warned her to keep silent, even begged for her forgiveness. Ser Meryn Trant did none of these. Ser Meryn Trant simply did not care.
But he could also be argued as the ‘ill intent’. Apathy is ugly, and does mean ill. Pretty much: anyone who turned away from the suffering another character experiences is a ‘priest’.
This is also clear in the arc of Sansa Stark. She is not a ‘priest’- she is quite kind after all, yet her arc is stacked with people who appear to care, yet don’t really. There’s the Tyrells in A Storm Of Swords, (I think Margaery isn’t a bad egg- but her cousins don’t really get a flattering description), Pycelle, Kevan and Lancel Lannister who have no issue doing actions that are tyrannical. Same could be said about Arys Oakheart, and all the times he strikes Sansa. Sansa herself is rather interesting, but her arc deals alot with ‘ill intents’ and ‘priests / levites.’
I’d also expand on Pycelle to be a Priest / Levite. His apologism for Lannisters has always been ridiculous, and then there is the part of him being okay with Daenerys Targaryen being murdered.
Yet I ask you this—should war come again, how many soldiers will die? How many towns will burn? How many children will be ripped from their mothers to perish on the end of a spear? Is it not wiser, even kinder, that Daenerys Targaryen should die now so that tens of thousands might live?
Therefore- we can establish that the major priests / levites of the story include Lysa Arryn, Meryn Trant & Pycelle
THE SAMARITANS
These are motivated by love and kindness. I love this part of the story, because I can think about just how awesome some characters are. You’ve got Sansa Stark, saving Lancel, Ser Dontos and just being her badass, kind self. You’ve also got Arya, who gives water to men in need to aid, you’ve got her standing up for the unfortunate and smallfolk. Not many people read the Stark sisters narrative as a Samaritan story, but it’s something to consider.
Others include- Brienne Of Tarth, Meera Reed, Edmure Tully, Podrick Payne, The Elder Brother and in the show, Ian McShane’s character Ray also fits. The whole thing about being a samaritan is that it’s usually at the expense of something. You are risking something huge, like your life or it comes at a large cost. The Samaritan in the story ‘gives all the money he had’. When Brienne Of Tarth is on her quest to save Sansa, she risks her life
I will never stop looking. I will give up my life if need be, give up my honor, give up all my dreams, but I will find her.
If the ‘soiled knights’ are priests / levites, then ‘true knights’ are the samaritans of the story. Brienne also goes on to say
Young or old, a true knight is sworn to protect those who are weaker than himself, or die in the attempt.
Brienne is probably my favourite example of a Samaritan. She, and Podrick risk so much for the quest for Sansa. It’s more than an oath- it’s love. Without getting all gushy, it’s hard to not be moved by these acts of pure selflessness.
THE MEN OF ILL INTENT
These characters are the reason why the problem exists in the first place. Why the man is dying. And this is for the villains of ASOIAF. Think Ramsay Bolton, Euron Greyjoy, Cersei Lannister, Gregor Clegane, Joffrey Baratheon. ASOIAF actually gives us a depiction of ‘men of ill intent’ and no one, fits the mould better than the men that Tywin Lannister employs. And that includes Gregor
Your Mountain stole my harvest and burned everything he could not carry off. He put my castle to the torch and raped one of my daughters. I will have recompense.
and in A Game Of Thrones, Gregor Clegane and his men on Tywin’s orders- sack the Riverlands. There are also the atrocities at Harrenhal, which Arya and the smallfolk experienced
A young mother with a pox-scarred face offered to freely tell them all she knew if they'd promise not to hurt her daughter. The Mountain heard her out; the next morning he picked her daughter, to be certain she'd held nothing back. The ones chosen were questioned in full view of the other captives, so they could see the fate of rebels and traitors. A man the others called the Tickler asked the questions. His face was so ordinary and his garb so plain that Arya might have thought him one of the villagers before she had seen him at his work. "Tickler makes them howl so hard they piss themselves," old stoop-shoulder Chiswyck told them. He was the man she'd tried to bite, who'd called her a fierce little thing and smashed her head with a mailed fist. Sometimes he helped the Tickler. Sometimes others did that. Ser Gregor Clegane himself would stand motionless, watching and listening, until the victim died.
I think if the Samaritan story had to take place in an ASOIAF location- it’d be The Riverlands. No location is more perfect. The Riverlands have suffered so much death and heartache. Therefore, Gregor Clegane fits the mould (quite) well. As does Tywin.
Tywin Lannister was as much fox as lion. If indeed he'd sent Ser Gregor to burn and pillage—and Ned did not doubt that he had—he'd taken care to see that he rode under cover of night, without banners, in the guise of a common brigand. Should
The ‘men of ill intent’ can also include the people who give the order. So Tywin and Cersei make a whole lot of sense in being included.
JAIME LANNISTER
Now onto the controversial topic: Jaime & Redemption. I know, it’s been discussed to death but here is my perspective (and how it fits in with the Samaritan story)
Jaime is an interesting aversion. He’s all five. His arc could be interpreted
He’s been in a state of mental and physical distress- when he loses his hand in A Storm Of Swords. This is described in depth, what this loss meant for him
"Jaime," Brienne whispered, so faintly he thought he was dreaming it. "Jaime, what are you doing?" "Dying," he whispered back. "No," she said, "no, you must live." He wanted to laugh. "Stop telling me what do, wench. I'll die if it pleases me."
(...)
The days and the nights blurred together in a haze of pain. He would sleep in the saddle, pressed against Brienne, his nose full of the stink of his rotting hand, and then at night he would lie awake on the hard ground, caught in a waking nightmare. Weak as he was, they always bound him to a tree. It gave him some cold consolation to know that they feared him that much, even now. Brienne was always bound beside him. She lay there in her bonds like a big dead cow, saying not a word. The wench has built a fortress inside herself. They will rape her soon enough, but behind her walls they cannot touch her. But Jaime's walls were gone. They had taken his hand, they had taken his sword hand, and without it he was nothing. The other was no good to him. Since the time he could walk, his left arm had been his shield arm, no more. It was his right hand that made him a knight; his right arm that made him a man.
Jaime, although his mental and physical health has improved, has experienced a stage of being ‘the dying man’. He’s also been the ‘ill intent’ in the lives of Bran Stark (as we all know, pushed him from the tower). You don’t have to like Jaime’s actions throughout the series. You don’t have to be okay with Jaime’s actions. The story of the samaritan is not about making excuses or apologizing. What I do think Jaime’s arc is about- is overcoming apathy.
Jaime has also been the Levite / Priest. This is when he was Kingsguard to Aerys II Targaryen.
The sight had filled him with disquiet, reminding him of Aerys Targ-aryen and the way a burning would arouse him. A king has no secrets from his Kingsguard. Relations between Aerys and his queen had been strained during the last years of his reign. They slept apart and did their best to avoid each other during the waking hours. But whenever Aerys gave a man to the flames, Queen Rhaella would have a visitor in the night. The day he burned his mace-and-dagger Hand, Jaime and Jon Darry had stood at guard outside her bedchamber whilst the king took his pleasure. "You're hurting me," they had heard Rhaella cry through the oaken door. "You're hurting me." In some queer way, that had been worse than Lord Chelsted's screaming. "We are sworn to protect her as well," Jaime had finally been driven to say. "We are," Darry allowed, "but not from him."
Jaime struggles with being in an apathetic position- I don’t think he likes being a Levite / Priest who does nothing. He in fact, calls out Meryn Trant on his apathy
"Ser Meryn." Jaime smiled at the sour knight with the rust-red hair and the pouches under his eyes. "I have heard it said that Joffrey made use of you to chastise Sansa Stark." He turned the White Book around one-handed. "Here, show me where it is in our vows that we swear to beat women and children."
So we can establish Jaime has a firm relationship with Priests / Levites- they disgust him, he doesn’t want to be one. I think Jaime has trauma from Aerys reign, and that influences him.
Now, the Samaritan part. Oh this is controversial. Like Brienne, this links with his quest for Sansa Stark and his relationship with Brienne Of Tarth
"I told you, I will never serve . . . " " . . . such foul creatures as us. Yes, I recall. Hear me out, Brienne. Both of us swore oaths concerning Sansa Stark. Cersei means to see that the girl is found and killed, wherever she has gone to ground . . . " Brienne's homely face twisted in fury. "If you believe that I would harm my lady's daughter for a sword, you—" "Just listen," he snapped, angered by her assumption. "I want you to find Sansa first, and get her somewhere safe. How else are the two of us going to make good our stupid vows to your precious dead Lady Catelyn? The wench blinked. "I . . . I thought . . . " "I know what you thought." Suddenly Jaime was sick of the sight of her. She bleats like a bloody sheep. "When Ned Stark died, his greatsword was given to the King's Justice," he told her. "But my father felt that such a fine blade was wasted on a mere headsman. He gave Ser Ilyn a new sword, and had Ice melted down and reforged. There was enough metal for two new blades. You're holding one. So you'll be defending Ned Stark's daughter with Ned Stark's own steel, if that makes any difference to you."
Part of being a samaritan is about sacrifice, and here is where I think Jaime’s arc becomes crucial: at the end of his arc in ADWD, he goes off with Brienne under the presumption that Sansa will be killed by Sandor Clegane. This is a meta for another time (because this is getting really, really long) but I feel as if Jaime could potentially have a role in the War For Dawn. That he’d put aside the allusions of ‘knights’ and actively do the right thing. This is not about redemption, but about being a better person. Like I said, you don’t have to like Jaime’s actions- I just think the five characters in the story of the dying traveller is interwovern in his arc.
CONCLUDING THOUGHTS
Okay, this got long. I just think ASOIAF is a text that is covering themes that are rather biblically epic- the scope of good and evil, and how man reacts to it. What I liked about the Samaritan story is just how real it felt. It reminds me strongly of ASOIAF, and I hope I made that clear.

Title: Heartbeat Language (Ch.1)
Pairing: Jon Snow x Reader
Summary: Modern Day AU. You and your Northern Friends have just graduated high school. Your parents hand you tickets to the hottest music festival, The King’s Feast, for the whole weekend. Jon and you have always been close friends, but something about the music tells you both something different. Something more.(I rated this as mature because there are mentions and acts of underage drinking.)
Requested: No
Words: 1525
Read on Ao3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/11116950/chapters/24811863
You had to admit you teared up a bit when you walked the halls of Westeros High for one last time. You looked over to Robb who was adjusting his tassel. You gave him a half-smile and in return he gave you a thumbs-up. All of your friends have been waiting forever for this day. Now that it’s here, you didn’t want it to end.
“Oh my god, your hair!” you heard Ros behind you. Her thick red hair was straightened. She wore kitten heels and a bit of her pink dress was peeking above the gold gown.
“You’re wearing a dress!” you laughed. You had curled your hair even though it took you hours to get it right. Your favorite dress was also peeking through the gold gown. Ros laughed and grabbed you into a big hug.
“We did it! Can you believe this?” Ros squealed.
“I did it. You almost failed math,” you corrected her. Ros rolled her eyes. Suddenly, you heard your least favorite teacher, Mr. Pycelle, call for everyone to form in a line. You waved goodbye to Ros and scurried to your spot.
“Hey,” Jon said. His thick, black curls made it hard for his cap to stay on. He didn’t smile too much, but when he did, it went on for miles. Robb’s happiness spread to others easy, but Jon’s happiness seemed only infectious to you.
“Hey you,” you smiled back.
“You think you’ll miss this place?” he asked.
“Hell no,” you laughed quietly.
“Good, me neither,” Jon whispered back. Ros may have been your best friend, but it was truly Jon that you were closest to. From speech to science, you partnered with each other every chance you got. You wouldn’t get A’s all the time, but both of you made a good team.
As you and your classmates walked into the auditorium, you spotted Ned and Cat waving at you and everyone. You looked at your own parents waving at you. Your mom wiping away a tear from her eye. The graduation ceremony was long and boring, but it was all worth it went you felt your diploma in your hands.
The drive to the Stark house for the after party wasn’t too long. Ros and you couldn’t wait to party with the boys. Ros took endless pictures of both of you in your outfits and caps.
“One more!”
“No! You took enough. Your battery’s going to die!” you said to her. Ros pointed at her charger.
“My phone will be fine. One more! Come on!” You scooted next to Ros and took another picture with her.
“We’re here, girls,” Your mom said. She carried in her famous mac and cheese bake into the house. First thing you heard was Ned’s deep voice.
“Girls! Congrats!” He smiled at both of you. “I’m very proud of both of you.”
“Thank you, Dad,” you playfully said to Ned. You came over to the Stark household so much that Cat had considered you a daughter before Arya was born.
“(Y/N)! Ros! Over here!,” Robb called you over. You were about to run over to your friends until your mother stopped you.
“Don’t go just yet, I want some more pictures.”
“Oh go on,” Ned said. “I don’t know why everyone’s so obsessed with pictures today.”
“Ned! Is it not obvious?” Cat yelled at him. She turned to your mother and rolled her eyes. “Husbands.”
“I know,” your mother nodded her head to your father. You and Ros started to walk over to the boys.
“Girls! Wait!” Cat yelled at you. “Don’t go walking around with the boys! We need you to stick around. We have a surprise!” Ros and you looked at each other confused.
“A surprise?” Ros said.
“I have no idea,” you said as you walked outside onto the deck. Ned enjoyed being outside so much that his deck was a paradise. The grill was cooking with burgers and hot dogs. Sansa sat with Jeyne at the outdoor kitchen texting away with their friends. Arya, Bran, and Rickon played in the pool. You and Ros headed towards the fire pit with the boys.
“Hey! Long time, no see!” Robb winked at both of you. You shook your head and looked at Jon. He wore a white button up with a pair of khakis. He took off his tie and opened up a couple of the top buttons. You had to admit you stared longer at him than you should have.
“You allright?” he said.
“What? Oh yeah. I’m fine,” you sat down next to him. “Cat said she had a surprise for us? Know anything about that?”
“No, Mom told me about it this morning,” Robb said. “Said it was our graduation gift.” Jon bit his lip and looked up.
“Wait, you know something, don’t you?” Theon sat forward in his seat. “Spill.”
“I don’t want to ruin anything,” Jon said.
“Come on, spill.” Robb nudged Jon and sat at the edge of the fire pit. The rest of you stared him down until he exhaled.
“It was a month ago. You know how sometimes I can’t sleep at night. I got up and went down to the kitchen to get some water. Before I walked in, I heard Mom and Dad on the phone with Theon’s Dad. They were talking about these tickets and a website. I didn’t catch everything, but after they left I logged onto the kitchen computer. I couldn’t find anything because they already erased the browser history. That’s all I know.”
“Tickets?” Theon said. “To what?”
“Well, what about Disney? You’ve always wanted to go, right (Y/N)?” Robb asked.
“No, you’re wrong, (Y/N) wants to get to married at Disney. She wants to go to Universal Studios,” Jon said.
“How do you know that and I don’t?” Ros questioned, shifting her eyes between the two of you.
“What are you talking about? She’s been saying that since junior year,” Jon argued.
“Is that true?” Ros asked.
“I mean I guess. He’s not wrong,” you said, shrugging. You felt yourself blush. You didn’t think Jon would remember something small like that. “But this a graduation gift guys, we can’t be going to Disney. I mean, our parents wouldn’t just send us there. Would they?”
Ned Stark owned the Wolf Corporation which helped find technology to better hospitals. Theon’s father, Balon, owned an entire cruise line. Your parents were their lawyers. If they bought tickets, it must have been something amazing. Your parents haven’t said anything about any graduation gifts. They haven’t even mentioned getting you anything.
Once the food was done, all of you got a plate of food and sat around the patio table with everyone else. Your dad sat next to you, chomping away at a hot dog. He had so much stuff piled onto it that the toppings were spilling on the plate.
“Dad, half of your dog is on the plate,” you said, half-bored. Your dad hummed.
“You think it’s time we stop torturing the kids and just tell them Ned?” You and your friends sat at the edge of their seats.
“What do you think, Balon?” Ned looked at Balon who nodded in return.
“Now’s a good time as any,” he said before he took another sip of beer. Ned stood up and looked at you all.
“We all felt that you kids put in a lot of work this year,” Ned started. “Robb and (Y/N) earning a high GPA, Theon’s acceptance into the Kelly School of Business, Jon’s leadership in the community award, and Ros, your theatric performances this year were amazing. We are all proud of you. And after thinking about it, we thought we would reward you with something as equally as awesome you guys.” Ned handed a folded paper to Robb.
“Dad, don’t say ‘awesome’ like that,” Robb laughed until he opened the paper. His face fell.
“What? What is it?” Theon tried to lean over in his seat to see it.
“These are tickets to the King’s Feast Music Festival for the whole weekend,” Robb said. You dropped your burger. Ros stood there with her mouth open. Jon and Theon looked at Robb with disbelief.
“No way. That’s-that’s. Come on,” Theon looked at his dad who only smiled back at him.
“Are you kidding? The King’s Feast? In New York City? The entire weekend? For real?” You turned to your parents. You dad patted you on the back.
“For real,” your dad said. All five of you jumped up and screamed about. Ros and you gave each other a big hug. Theon ran and jumped in the pool he was so excited. Robb hugged Cat tightly, and Jon only sat there staring at the ticket.
You let go of Ros and faced the boys.
“We’re going to the King’s Feast! We’re going to New York City!” You screamed. All five you started to chant ‘New York, New York’ over and over. You looked at Jon and gave him a hug too.
“So, this is how summer starts?” Jon said to you away from others.
“It’s only going to get better from here,” you smiled.

Sansa got a huge chunk of Jeyne Poole's storyline, therefore Jeyne Poole is queen in the north in the books. Calling it now. George, don't let me down.
.... while I think that if anything jeyne has shots at queen of the iron islands :PPP AT THIS POINT THE REVENGE OF JEYNE POOLE HAS TO HAPPEN. GEORGE GO FOR IT

Do you think Theon will end up with Jeyne Poole in the books? It kinda seems like that to me.
well let’s put it like this
if he ends up with anyone and if she ends up with anyone it’s gonna be each other
but I don’t know if romance is the point of both their storylines you know? I mean they should heal first and idk how likely it is that it’s in the cards, if it happens it’s gonna be fairly mild stuff and I’m not even sure it will but if it does it’s def. with each other at this point XD

Do you have any HC about Jeyne Poole because I need those in my life. Like fluffy, angsty, au, i don’t care I just need more love and thought being put toward Jeyne
let’s see
canon
idk if it’s actually canon or not because I feel like I didn’t make it out of thin air but anyway I had this hc that she and robb actually were each others’s first kiss because they wanted to try it out the way you want to try it out at ten so here you go
post-ramsay she might want to learn to defend herself at some point pls let her and arya be friends over it
pre-ramsay she definitely had the same priorities as sansa ie finding a nice knight who’d treat her nicely Like In Songs TM, post-ramsay she might not but if anyone can get that title (whether they stay platonic or not) that’d be theon probably
if she and sansa ever tie the knot with anyone they’re going to sew each others’s cloaks watch them
if of course
modern au
she and sansa bicker for ages about music taste because sansa’s into boybands and the likes and she’s into 60s/70s rock bands that her parents like but it’s very healthy bickering
she actually does like romance movies though just not as much
she has a guilty pleasure for horribly trashy action movies but theon is the only one who knows that
she gives me the feeling that she’d be better at humanities than science
dresses very feminine (ie dresses, skirts and so on) but in darker colors
smoked for a week or two because it was the cool thing to do and quit because it tasted horrible
utterly refused to get a facebook account but she has a tumblr and starred in a lot of theon’s vines
she’s good at manual work (ie sewing/drawing/the likes)
she hates doing make-up because TOO LAzy and too much work but when she does it she’s a pro
that’s what I have but if anyone has to add... xD

I like to HC Modern Jeyne P as being chubby/curvy, and being into vintage fashion. And I just like the aesthetic of sassy sarcastic bad boy Theon being with the sweet, kind, bubbly, prone to giggles, girly girl Jeyne
.... WELL it’s a nice aesthetic :D I tend to not hc people as different body types than they are in canon but it’s because tumblr about destroyed any kind of wish I might have to go there after a couple specific wank fests (and tbh as different...... a lot of things because 90% of the time those hcs are there but conveniently ignore characters who are Already That Thing In Canon) but it’s a very cute hc awww ;____; if anyone could draw it’d be adorable

When Rickon asks about his mother, though, Jon’s sad smile gets a little stiff. He tries to talk about how much Catelyn loved her children but Rickon cuts him off, knowing a lie when he heard one. Jon says he wasn’t lying, but he and Catelyn had a strained relationship. Jon ends up going to the one person still in Winterfell that knew Lady Catelyn, not exactly close but Cat had never actively kept her distance. Jeyne Poole is delighted to be of assistance. 🍎

Modernau Jeyne P looks at how Robb and Jon interact with Sansa (like being adorably protective and giving her lifts to places and the like) and says that she wishes she had older brothers. Theon informs her that once his older brothers hid tuna in his room and he didn’t find it for three weeks despite constantly looking for that awful smell. 🍎
That said, once or twice /Theon/ found himself accidentally playing big brother to Jeyne. Everyone is confused as to when he started being the one who was adorably protective and gives her lifts places and punches assholes (Joffrey) in the face for her. Robb and Jon start teasing by giving him advice on how to be a good big brother. 🍎
D’AWWWWW YES THAT’S ADORABLE ;_________________; I LIKE THIS A LOT
