So what you think of the newest iris thing - chanting anon

I have MANY thoughts

First and foremost, CHASE. HES BACK. MY BOY I MISS HIM SO MUCH

And then everything else like what the hell is happening, why is Iris concerned about Chase and why are they keeping him in a cell, what happened to Chase in those woods, who killed those scientists, who or what is the time thief, are any other egos involved?

There’s a lot to stew on. I’m not sure what I’m leaning towards. Possessed Chase makes sense because maybe he got possessed in the time between the woods and the time he was on the roof and he just doesn’t remember. And we know Anti can possess people or at least mess with their perception. We also saw someone who I assume is Anti stalking Chase in CHASE.

I want to know if Marvin is involved in any way. He had a journal that mentioned Iris and antimatter. Is he the time thief? Does he work for Iris? Against Iris? Without Iris’s knowledge? Is Iris aware of him? What and why is he researching?

Will we get to see more than one ego? Will we get to see them interact? Henrik has mentioned that he knows Chase and Jack and they’re good friends. Is there a canonical reason they all look the same? Or are they different characters just played by the same man (Like Damien, William, and Marc)?

What the hell is Iris trying to do? They have a security system that they sell for personal and commercial use, but they also have a lab of scientists doing who knows what about time supposedly.

Which also alludes to Jamie and his time thing. Is there a canon reason he appears to be from the past? Is it a front or is he actually from the past? Will we get to see him at all?

And then of course Jackie, Mr MIA. I wonder if this is the project where he reappears again. Is the time he’s missing canon like Henrik’s 9 months? Or is it just a large time skip thing because of how slowly the ego story is coming out? No hate to Sean, I completely understand how long it can take to write a good story you can produce and be proud of. What’s his role in all this? What his association with Iris?

There’s speculation that Anti is an experiment of Iris’s that got out of hand. I’m not sure what to think of that. As far as I know, Iris doesn’t have that type of technology yet. They can detect emotion through cameras, but can they make a creature? Is Anti a creature? They have the technology to detect a time thief. Is Anti a human with Iris technology? Why did he do what he did? What’s he got against Jack, Henrik, and Chase? Is it Anti possessing or controlling Jamie? If so, what’s he got against Jamie? Are they all alters of each other or are they all unfortunate people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Anyway, that’s a lot of thoughts I didn’t mean for it to get so long whoops. Suffice to say, I’m very excited for what’s to come!

i like when hades sucks. i enjoy when he gets to be a melodramatic loser and a villain-y villain, because it makes orpheus managing to get through to him hit much harder for me. so zachary hades with his sleazy attitude and the kind of warped enjoyment he's getting out of playing at being powerful and manipulative fulfilled my every wish. tailored to me specifically

i especially enjoyed his acting when he starts to break down a bit for epic 3, his scared/angry/shaken/lashing out was all delicious

i think the nicest thing that happened to me in october was that i got to see my very dear friend on stage in a performance that made me cry like a baby. 10/10 highly recommend staring at your friends making art like you're maybe seeing god.

a pretty bamboozling occurrence this year was one particular day spent with cat @starkey, who suggested after we'd hung out in an extremely suspicious and very beautiful mossy grove in the fairy glen that a good place to have dinner might be this vegetarian restaurant she'd heard about. the restaurant was a tiny tiny house on a hill in the middle of nowhere, the food tasted one hundred per cent as if fairies had made it, the only drinks served were teas specifically paired with each course, the chef sporadically came out to tell us the lore? literally the actual magical lore? about some of the ingredients she used, she then gave us meadowsweet to take home that she'd foraged herself, and i'm decently sure that if i tried to return to the restaurant it'd be gone. it was the best meal i've ever had.

#it's hard to convey how strange this meal really was. the ice cream in my dessert made me genuinely emotional like i felt that in my heart #they only serve maybe 5 tables? the restaurant space is no bigger than the average living room? #art nouveau tapestries everywhere and soft celtic chants playing. chef was definitely a Wise Woman of some sort. baffling and wonderful #all this happening after we'd discussed in the fairy glen that maybe we were in the process of being enchanted/led astray by the fair folk #sure was something #thank you anon! this cheered me up a lot :')) #asks #anon

I am trying unlock more Minthara dialogues, but I don't know what things she approves.

Hi anon, I'm still early in Act 3. So far I notice she tends to approve things like *spoiler coming*

if the option is take the power for yourself or something similar, take it because she's a conqueror

help the refugees by donating things (really, that got me an inspiration for her) in Act 3

for the dryad thing: the 3 answers are she misses the food, she admires Tav, and let herself be captured

if there is an option to fight or surrender/go to jail (when persuasion isn't available), she prefers fight. If persuasion is there, then go for that first. Basically noble honor system

she likes it when you impress her (like with the grove)

talk to her after every cutscene of a quest just in case, she usually has a line or two

multiclass her as a bard she has some lines

I'd say Minthara approval is like a mix between Shadowheart and Lae'zel. Another way but may introduce bug is literally edit the approval rating level with mods/ct, but I don't think it will unlock any more dialogue if you're already in a relationship with her tbh.

The game recognizes that you're in a relationship with Minthara after the "I belong only to you" line (don't expect a romance scene there's none which is very lackluster to say the least, she pours her heart out there and not even a hug wth). After that the dryad and the drow twin should recognize you two as a couple, which is how you know. Now if you're already dating someone before (for me it's Shadowheart, my Tav can kiss her anytime), once you agree to be with Minthara, the game will break that relationship and you won't get a chance to talk to that partner (which is very weird because I chose the option that I'd let SH know asdadsas). So when I go talk to Shadowheart, she just went something like "seems your heart has drifted elsewhere, curious." and convo ended, not even a basic "hey I chose Minthara, sorry." So I'm not sure if this is another bug.
