pairings: charlie dalton x fem!reader
word count: 0.5k
warnings: none, but welton is a boys and girls school.
n/a: i was really looking forward to write something with charlie, and i am so excited for this one. i really hope you enjoy it. feel free to request anything! as always, english is not my first language, so there might be some mistakes, sorry in advance x
masterlist :)
"i'm gonna ask her out", charlie repeated for the thousandth time, staring at you from the other side of the common room.
"yeah, right.", knox teased him. "you always say the same thing but you never really do it."
"and also, what if y/n doesn't like you back?", wondered neil.
but charlie's ego was too big to break like that. and also, he had noticed how your eyes fixated on him when he wasn't looking, so, at least, you were interested in him.
"you can mock me all that you want, but i am going to do it.", charlie said, as he stood up. the rest of his friends stared at him in disbelief, with their mouths open.
you saw him approaching your group of friends and returned your sight to your latin homework, playing dumb. you knew your friends couldn't tell, but your heart rate was alarmingly fast as charlie was closer.
"hey, girls", he greeted you and your friends. "do you mind if i steal y/n from you one sec?"
you knew charlie wasn't asking for permission, he hardly ever did, so you stood up, closing your notebook. "what is it, charlie?"
"just a thing i wanted to ask you. come with me?"
you followed him to the corridor, which was empty, and waited for him to start talking. you and charlie weren't exactly friends, but you liked him. he was funny, and smart, and didn't have any problems to cause some trouble in school. he was also devastatingly charming, and every single girl in school would agree on that.
"so...", he started. "how was your day?"
"did you actually dragged me out of the common room to ask me about my day?", you laughed.
charlie fidgeted with the collar of his school shirt. "actually i wanted to ask you something."
"ask away, i'm not gonna bite you.", you said, jokingly.
"i was wondering if you had any plans this friday evening.", charlie said, and you flustered to your ears. your cheeks were so warm you even wondered if it was possible to be that red.
don't be an idiot, y/n. come on, woman up, you thought.
"um, no. i don't think so. why?"
"would you like to go out? like, with me?", he asked, and you could tell that he was blushing too. it was a rare sight to see charlie dalton blushing, but it was a very cute one.
"sure, yeah.", you replied, your hands trembling. you couldn't believe that. "anything planned?"
"i thought we could go to the cinema? if you're up to it."
"yeah. i love the movies.", a weird silence formed between the two of you, both too happy to say anything. then, you cleared your throat. "so, friday, 6pm?"
"perfect. i'll pick you up on your dorm."
you nodded, going back into the common room. a few moments later, charlie entered too, sitting with his friends. you could see his face between todd's and meeks' shoulders. he noticed you staring and winked at you. you lowered your head back to your homework.
and friday couldn't come fast enough.

Jealous?
Charlie Dalton x fem!reader
Word Count: 1.7k
Warnings: charlie being a dick, pettiness, insecurity
Author’s Note: Omg I am so sorry this took so long I don’t know why I literally love charlie so much. I hope you enjoy what I came up with!
Requested: by anon, Hii! Id like to request a Charlie Dalton x fem!Reader where she catches him staring at other girls on 1 of their dates and gets jealous so on the next dps meeting (which she often goes to after being invited) instead of sitting on Charlie’s lap or making out in a corner which is what they normally do she decides to sit next to another one of the poets (like meeks/todd/neil) and starts playfully flirting, cheek kissing then Charlie gets jealous runs out the cave, they have an argument, and make up!
Summary: the request
I don’t own these characters. They belong to author/director/creator
(not my gif)
Tumblr media
You knew Charlie probably better than anyone else in the world. It was unintentional. You hadn’t set out to like each other, quite the opposite actually. You avoided him at all costs. You heard the rumors about Dalton and you had no intention of getting mixed up with him.
He made sure never to look your way when you were around. You were exactly the kind of person he would actually get feelings for. So when you hung around Neil he left, arguing that he had homework to do or something.
You avoided each other at all costs.
Until one day you didn’t.
You and Charlie were obsessed with each other nowadays. It was easy for anyone to tell by the way your eyes lingered on each other and the way you spoke without actually speaking. It was ridiculous. Everyone expected Charlie to be the least likely to actually have a steady girlfriend. Imagine everyone’s surprise when he was one of the first.
You teetered back and forth on your feet as you stood out in the courtyard. You were waiting very patiently for Charlie to come outside of the school for your date. As you checked your wristwatch, you started to think perhaps he had been caught by a teacher or something.
It was a dark and dewey night. You could feel the rain from earlier still on your skin as you shivered into your jacket. Your stomach was rumbling. You knew you should have eaten something earlier. You knew Charlie was gonna be late.
As soon as you thought it, Charlie emerged from one of the downstairs windows. He was sent off by Knox who was waving in the window. You waved back at him, holding your arm close to your body as Charlie rushed over to you across the courtyard.
“Took you long enough,” you whined, trying not to sound actually irritated but getting your annoyance across. Charlie threw his arm around you.
“Sorry, Todd took forever to give me the signal. I’m giving him far too much responsibility.” You rolled your eyes.
“I like him. I think he’s nice and respectable, unlike someone,” you joked. You got into the driver's seat of your car. Charlie rolled his eyes, a lopsided smile on his face.
“I’m respectable.” He put his hand on your thigh jokingly. You swatted it away, laughing with him.
“And I’m starving.”
You soon came to a small 24 hour diner you two frequented. It was close to the school in case there was an emergency and there was usually only one waitress working so you two could mess around as much as you wanted before leaving. While Charlie was at school it was one of the only times you actually got to see each other.
“Are you getting a milkshake?” you asked Charlie, sitting down in the booth across from him.
“Of course I am. Two straws.”
“Because how dare we use one straw between the two of us. I have never touched your lips ever. It definitely would be awful if we swapped saliva.” Charlie smirked at you, leaning forward over the table.
“Is that an invitation?”
“When is it not?”
You missed him. You hadn’t seen each other in a couple of days because you were both so busy. It was hard getting him to sneak out of that prison masking as a school. You were about to kiss him, just because you wanted to, when the waitress approached.
You looked up at her, startled to find it wasn’t the regular one that was working.
“Good evening,” she said, voice chirpy. She looked about your age. You might even be going to school with her if you thought hard enough. “How are you two today?”
“Fantastic,” Charlie said, grinning brightly at her. You glanced between the two of them. You didn’t like the subtle way Charlie was now leaning away from you. You didn’t like his charming smile or the way his eyes were twinkling.
You weren’t a jealous person by nature.
But you were dating Charlie Dalton. A person in that predicament is bound to have some worries.
“Where’s Mabel?” you asked, voice curt. You cleared your throat. You hadn’t meant for it to come off that aggressive. She hadn’t done anything.
Mabel was the normal older woman who took your orders. Though, you never actually ordered. She usually just brought out your regular orders.
“She’s taking a couple days off! I’m Sel though. I may not be as quick as her but I swear I can write just as fast.” You smiled gently.
“Well we’re gonna get two vanilla milkshakes to start off if that’s alright Sel,” Charlie said pleasantly. Your smile fell.
“Sounds good! I’ll be right back with that.” Sel left as quickly as she had come. You gave Charlie a look.
“What happened to our two straws?”
“You made such a big deal about it. I wouldn’t wanna give you any diseases.”
You pursed your lips and nodded. Great.
-
The Dead Poets meetings were something you had grown used to. You loved going. At first you felt like you were intruding on something rather private. They were all a close knit group, talking about genuine poems and they’re meanings. It wasn’t something you would expect from Charlie but as you met the others, you understood how much it meant to every single one of them.
They had grown to like having you there. Todd took minutes and you held everything, helping out, flipping through a dictionary when you were asked. They were your friends now.
You and Charlie walked through the cave together. You were behind him. You were running late, no surprise there. You had driven over and he had come in separately. When he tried to kiss you, you politely declined.
Maybe you were still a little annoyed about the date a day before.
“No need to clap! We have arrived,” Charlie announced as you walked inside. Everyone else was already there and seated. You rolled your eyes, putting your hand on Meeks’s shoulder as you walked past him. You got the courtesy nods and the chorus of ‘you’re late’’s. Charlie sat down at his spot in the corner, patiently awaiting for you to sit on his lap like usual. Instead, you walked past him.
Maybe this was a bit much. But he needed to understand how much you meant to each other.
You sat down between Neil and Knox. You crossed your legs, putting one foot underneath Knox’s leg, leaning against the back of the chair.
You could feel his eyes boring at the side of your skull.
“Did we miss anything exciting?” you questioned, putting your hand on Neil’s leg. He looked over at you, slightly startled.
“Nothing yet. We just started,” he explained.
“Good. I always love the first poem of the night. Really sets the tone.”
You watched very carefully as Charlie didn’t stand up. You looked at him, dead in the eye, letting him know that you both knew what you were doing. He clenched his jaw and tried to breathe evenly.
But he waited patiently until the end of the meeting to say anything to you.
You were all leaving, chatting over each other, muttering about classes and teasing about tests. You were walking back to your car, cleverly parked far away to avoid detection when Charlie rushed up beside you.
“What was that about?”
“What?”
“You know what.” You gave him a thin look. He grabbed your arm, pulling you back to him. You quickly ripped it away.
“Oh I’m sorry. Should I have sat next to you? I thought maybe because we’re separating our milkshakes we should also rearrange the seating arrangements,” you suggested. Charlie closed his eyes, breathing harshly through his nose.
“I knew it was about that.”
“Good. Glad you can still read my mind. Can you read Sel’s too?”
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what I was thinking.” “Me neither.” You shook your head, stepping away from him. “And it hurt me. We only have so many nights together and you spend it ogling the damn waitress Charlie.” The boys were dispersed but you could feel them lingering around. Knox was probably hiding behind a tree to eavesdrop.
“I’m sorry. You know I love only you.” He grabbed your hand. “I didn’t mean it. I swear.”
“You swear Dalton? Because I won’t stick around if you’re lying.” “I’m not lying.” You gave him a look. He grabbed your other hand. “I swear it.”
“Did you like feeling jealous Charlie Dalton?”
“No. I absolutely did not.”
“Remember that,” you whispered. He nodded.
“You’re really scary when you’re serious. I don’t like it.” He paused. “I kinda like it.”
You both laughed dryly, breaking the tension.
“We’re gonna be okay yeah?” he whispered.
“Yeah. Probably. Don’t be a dick anymore.”
“I sure try.”

Sonorous (Charlie Dalton x fem!Overstreet reader)
Word Count: 5.8k
Summary: While dropping your brother off for his 3rd year at Welton, one of his best friends catches your eye.
Warnings: Drinking (you know I had to include Chet’s party), slight violence, kissing
---
“Tradition, Honor, Discipline, Excellence,” the booming voices of hundreds of Welton Academy pupils and alumni rang out through the small chapel. Mr. Nolan stood at the front, aged hands resting on the sides of the lectern, Welton’s crest displayed proudly across the front. This was your third year attending a Welton introduction ceremony, your third year sitting in the uncomfortably ancient pews with your parents while your brother and his peers were welcomed with watchful arms into the halls of America’s finest preparatory school.
Knox had found his seat next to you after leading the ceremony with the banners which represented the four pillars. His suit, which your parents had purchased for him at the beginning of his freshman year at Welton, was now ever so slightly too tight on his young adult frame. The seams squeezed at his shoulders, the leg of the pants threatened to expose the top of his socks as he sat, and the button in the front took just a little more effort to close. Examining your brother it finally hit you that he was growing up, and so were you.
Knox and you had always been close, especially as children before your parents sent him away to Welton, and you to Henley Hall. Now, seeing him all grown up, the body of a man replacing that of the boy you once knew, you realized that your time with him was limited, that your childhood was coming to an end.
Seemingly sensing your anxiety, Knox turned to face you, his eyes meeting yours with a sympathetic gaze.
“You okay, Overstreet?” he whispered, mouth curling up into a smile as he called you by your last name.
“Never been better, Overstreet,” you feigned a smile. Knox merely rolled his eyes, his hair falling in front of his forehead as he turned his attention back to Nolan. You watched him, catching him stop and giggle at something, or rather someone, before he could return his attention to Nolan. Curious, you leaned in front of your brother, tracking his gaze to a boy sitting several rows up from you, turned around with a giddy smile flashing across his face.
His hair was dark blonde like Knox’s and his cheeks rounded into rosy apples when he smiled, his eyes full of mischief and wonder. As you scanned his face, his eyes dropped from Knox’s to yours, his already rosy cheeks flushing an even deeper crimson. Flashing quickly between you both, you could see it click in his brain that you were Knox’s sister, his eyes widening at the realization. In a move that you would learn was characteristic of the boy, his eyes locked with yours again, giving you a quick wink before turning back around to Nolan.
You blushed…you blushed hard. Knox gave you no reaction, seemingly having shifted his attention back to Nolan before your interaction with the boy concluded. Fixing you hair and settling back into your seat between Knox and your parents, you tried your best to pay attention to the presentation at the altar, your mind refusing to acknowledge anything other than the boy on the other side of the room.
“Wonderful service Mr. Nolan,” your father greeted the principal at the door.
“Ah thank you Mr. Overstreet. Knox is one of our brightest, we look forward to another impressive year from him,” he gestured to your brother, who was standing directly behind you.
“Thank you sir,” your father and brother said in unison, eliciting a chuckle from your mother.
With a nod, the four of you said your goodbyes to Nolan and left the chapel.
“Knox, y/n, we’ll pull the car around so you can grab your things,” your mother said, following your father towards the parking lot just outside of campus.
“Alright we’ll be here,” Knox answered, turning to you.
“Another year at Hell-ton, you must be thrilled,” you teased, bumping your shoulder into your brother’s arm.
“Unimaginably,” he retorted, eyes scanning the fields around the chapel where hundreds of families were hugging their boys’ goodbye.
“Ah,” was all Knox said before shoving his hands in his pockets and walking towards one of the fields.
“Oh?” you asked, beginning to walk behind him, “Okay?”
Your brother turned around to face you as he walked backwards toward a group of men chatting in the field, “my friends. You met Neil last year I’m pretty sure, but I don’t think you’ve met anyone else”
“No I don’t think I have,” you responded, keeping pace with your brother as he turned around and briskly walked toward the group. You were about to speak up before the nasaly voice of one of the men cut through the air
“Knoxious!” You winced at the nickname, chuckling to yourself as you and your brother finally reached the group of boys.
“Dalton,” Knox said, walking through the group to embrace the shorter man who had winked at you earlier. You stood a few steps behind your brother, glancing between the five men. The tallest of them, a rather thin man with hair that stood up in an almost militant fashion, and a shorter ginger man next to him stared at you mouth agape. You broke the tension with a small wave, which the shorter one reciprocated, lifting his hand ever so slightly.
“So this your girlfriend, Knox?” The boy from the chapel asked, sauntering over to you with his hands shoved deep in his pockets.
“Ew Charlie no, that’s my sister,” Knox responded, turning to face his friend who was now mere feet from where you stood.
“Sister, huh? I never would have guessed,” Charlie said, staring you directly in the eyes, “you see she’s good looking and you’re-”
“Alright alright,” Knox said, stepping closer to you two.
“Charlie Dalton,” the boy said, extending a hand to you, making you blush again. This time he absolutely noticed, as a smirk threatened to spread across his face at the sight of it.
You collected yourself, “Y/n Overstreet,” you replied, taking his hand and giving it a firm shake.
“Her handshake is stronger than yours, Knox,” Charlie joked, turning around to face your brother, who was rolling his eyes.
“That’s enough Dalton,” Knox said, stepping towards you and gesturing for you to come closer to the rest of the group. Charlie let go of your hand and turned to face the group with you, his shoulder so close to yours that it threatened to brush against you as your brother introduced you to the rest of the group.
“So thats Neil, who you already know,” Neil offered you a gentle smile and wave, which you returned, “and thats Pitts and Meeks,” he said while pointing to the tall man and the ginger, both of whom still stood with their mouths agape…
“Shape up boys, say hello to the lady,” Charlie quipped, snapping the pair back to reality. They both blushed before timidly waving, turning away to gossip amongst themselves, you couldn’t help but laugh.
Knox pointed to the last boy, a shorter blonde kid who was obviously new to the group, as he avoided talking to any of them, let alone you.
“This is my roommate, Todd Anderson,” Neil chimed in, patting the shoulder of the boy next to him, who looked up briefly before turning away again.
“Anyway fellas, this is my sister Y/n, she goes to Henley”
“Oh good school,” Pitts spoke up with a smile
“Yeah…” you replied awkwardly. Meeks smacked Pitts with his shoulder, making the taller boy wince.
“Pittsie here has never seen a woman before,” Charlie joked, “that’s why he doesn’t know how to talk to them. I on the other hand-”
“No Dalton,” Knox proclaimed, “not my sister, she’s off limits”
You giggled at Knox, “16 years and I’ve never once seen you be protective of me, Knox, what’s gotten into you?”
“Y/n there’s some sort of unspoken rule that your friends are never supposed to flirt with your sister, which Dalton doesn’t seem to be aware of,” Knox replied, locking eyes with his friend who stood against your opposite shoulder
“What, what?” Charlie asked breathily, shrugging his shoulders, “who says there’s any flirting going on here?” He asked before swinging an arm over you, pulling you closer to him.
Pitts and Meeks ooh’d at Charlie, spurring him on. You looked to your right, locking eyes with the boy as he pulled you in closer. Smiling up at him, you giggled as he shot you another wink, sending butterflies through your stomach.
“Charlie I swear to God-” Knox began before he was cut off from a voice behind you.
“Overstreets!” Your father’s brash voice rang out from their parked car no more than 100 feet from you, “Come get your things Knox!”
“You got lucky this time, Dalton,” your brother said, pointing a finger at his friend before marching off towards your parent’s car.
“Its a shame you’re off limits,” Charlie said while removing his arm from you and shoving his hand back in his pocket, “I was gonna say I’d sure like to do this again sometime”
“What, taunt my brother in front of all your friends?” You smirked at him, “who says I wouldn’t want to do the same?”
Charlie smiled at you, nibbling his bottom lip between his teeth. He simply nodded at you as you jogged away after your brother. Cheers from the other boys could be heard from behind you as you ran. Turning around, you caught sight of the four other boys shaking Charlie’s shoulders and teasing him while he just smirked at you, eyes never leaving you as you followed your brother.
“So you’re telling me the plan is to sneak into your brother’s party…which is in your own house?” You asked Ginny, turning around from the vanity where you had been applying your makeup.
“Yeah, that’s pretty much it,” Ginny shrugged
“Oh god, Ginny, this is gonna be a night for the books,” you chuckled as you turned back to your friend’s mirror.
“So what about this Charlie boy?” Ginny squeaked, a taunting tone in her voice letting you know she knew of your crush on your brother’s friend
“How do you know anything about Charlie?” you stared at the mirror, it was your best attempt at maintaining a poker face while your best friend interrogated you
“Y/n, last year you hardly ever called Knox when he was at school. And now you guys are on the phone like everyday, and you always ask him how Charlie is. You don’t expect me, your best friend, to wonder who the guy you’re always asking about is?”
“I’m not always asking about him, Ginny, I just thought maybe I should take a greater interest in my brother’s social life…that’s all”
“Oh what a load of bull!”
“Ginny!” You squealed, still looking at the mirror.
“You know I’m right! Cause if I wasn’t, you wouldn’t still be facing away from me trying to hide your blush!” She exclaimed. Embarrassed, you turned around, hands covering your face.
“I don’t know what blush you’re talking about,” the muffled words sounded from behind your hands. Erupting in a fit of laughter, you moved from the vanity seat to the floor where Ginny was sitting, giggling with your best friend as you daydreamed about the boy you had met only once before.
–
Hey Little Girl was blaring on the speakers in Ginny’s living room; the party was now in full swing and you and Ginny were both fairly certain that nobody would notice if you slipped downstairs to enjoy the antics. As you exited her room and made your way down the stairs into the kitchen, the last thing you expected to see was your very own brother, Knox Overstreet, slumped against the counter taking shots with Chet Danburry’s teammates.
“Shit!” You whispered, flipping around the kitchen wall and turning to Ginny.
“What? What? What is it?”
“Knox is here, did you know he was gonna be here?”
“Knox?” Ginny asked, leaning in front of you to peek her head around the corner.
“For God’s sake Ginny don’t look!”
Ginny slammed her back against the wall next to you, “damn it really is him!”
“Why on earth would Chet invite my brother to a party? How does he even know him?”
A lightbulb must have gone off in Ginny’s head, because she turned to you with bright eyes and exclaimed, “he came over for dinner a couple weeks ago! I heard him talking to Chris, uhhh and they seemed to hit it off…so maybe she invited him?”
“Chris? Like Chet’s girlfriend Chris?” You exclaimed. Ginny only nodded, a smirk flashing across her face, “oh Knox!”
Keeping a watchful eye on your brother the entire night, you and Ginny worked your way around the party, flirting with the boys who clung to the walls and chatting with the girls you had known in elementary and middle school. Whenever Chet and Knox were both clear of the kitchen, you would sneak in and snatch drinks for you and Ginny, giggling as if you were the only ones breaking rules that night.
After what felt like hours of mingling, flirting, drinking, and playing the game of avoiding your older brothers, the roar of the party had finally died down and you and your best friend found yourselves propped up on the kitchen counter watching the stragglers mingle in the living room. The football team had congregated around the bar, still taking shots and cheering for Chet whenever he did something mildly average, and the rest of the partygoers were scattered around the coffee table and the many chairs and couches which surrounded it. Your buzz was beginning to wear off as you found yourself scanning the living room for your brother, who you quickly realized you had not checked up on in at least half an hour. Next to you Ginny was nursing a crystal glass of gin, her eyes locked on the ripples it made when she shook the vessel. She was out.
A panic starting to settle in, you turned to the window behind you and peered through the curtains in case your brother had ended up outside somehow. Just as you glanced through the glass you heard commotion behind you.
“...Sander’s brother! And he’s feeling up your girl!” One of the footballers said, drawing your attention to the large group of athletes who now stood facing the couch behind them. Suddenly, Chet launched forward toward the couch, his arms raising as if he was about to punch someone. You launched yourself off the counter, taking a few steps across the kitchen to watch the situation unfold. As Chet began throwing punches at someone next to the couch, you noticed his girlfriend, Chris, sleepily standing up next to him.
“Chet, stop!” She screamed as soon as she was awake enough to realize what was happening. Her screams spurred you to move closer, a decision which would reveal that the victim of Chet’s brutal swings was your very own brother.
“Knox oh my god!” You screamed, jumping over the couch and grabbing onto Chet’s jacket, pulling him off of your brother.
“Chet stop you’ll hurt him!” Chris squealed, grabbing onto her boyfriend’s shoulder as he stood up.
You crouched down to your brother, cradling his head in your hands as you examined his wounds.
“Next time I see you, you die,” Chet threatened, holding onto Chris like she was nothing more than an object.
“Why don’t you fuck off Chet,” you responded, making the men around him chuckle.
“Oh yeah? That the type of man you are, Overstreet? Your little sister’s gotta finish your fights for you?”
“Leave him the hell alone,” you stood up to face him, “and next time, maybe don’t let your girlfriend black out alone on a couch.”
Chet scoffed and led Chris away, her muttering gently apologies to Knox as she walked away.
“Y/n?” Knox questioned faintly, you turned around to join your brother on the ground once again, “What are you doing here? How’d you get here?”
“I’m here with Ginny, Knox,” you lifted up his hair to look at a bruise that was now forming on his temple, your heart breaking for your poor brother, “we’re gonna get you back to Welton okay?”
“Thanks,” he said quietly, “for sticking up for me y’a know, Charlie was right about you,” he slurred his words lightly as his eyes grew tired.
“Charlie?” You questioned, “he was right about what?”
“He won’t shut up about how you probably beat my ass,” he laughed, his eyes now fully closed.
“Charlie…” you wondered out loud.
“Welton Academy, hello.” The tired voice of an old man spoke on the other side of the line.
Clearing your throat and shooting a quick glance to Ginny, who was sobering up as she sat next to you in her father’s office. Putting on your most mature voice you responded.
“Good evening sir, I apologize for calling you so late but I was wondering if I could have a word with Mr. Charles Dalton?”
“Ah…Dalton. Well you see its after hours and the boys are all asleep right now…if you call back in the morning–”
“It’s urgent sir,” you feigned seriousness, “I’m his mother you see, and I’m afraid there’s been a um…”
Ginny smiled up at you, shrugging her shoulders.
“An incident, yes, in the family. And um, well, Charles must hear about it immediately.”
“Might I relay the message to him?”
“I’m sorry sir, but it’s quite sensitive and I feel as if I should deliver it myself,” you nodded your head, Ginny bit her hand to prevent her laughter.
The phone laid silent for a few painstaking minutes as you paced around Mr. Danburry’s desk, you and Ginny spiraling over how to get Knox back to Welton without causing a scene.
“Mom?” Charlie’s nasaly voice echoed on the other line, lacking the same sleepy tone as the older man.
“Charlie!” You practically squealed.
“Huh?” Charlie sounded perplexed over the phone, “wait, Y/n?”
“You recognize my voice?” You asked, butterflies filling your stomach.
“Well of course I did, how could I forget the sweetest sound I’ve ever heard,” you could sense his smirk through the phone.
Ginny cleared her throat, turning your attention to her, snapping your awareness back to the issue at hand.
“Oh right, um, Charlie,” your voice grew serious again, “I need your help.”
“Yeah, yeah,” he said seriously, concern growing in his voice, “what’s wrong, what can I do?”
“I’m at the Danburry’s and um Knox is here”
“Okay,” he chuckled, “what’s the problem with that?”
“Well, you see, Chet sorta attacked him and…well…he’s not doing too hot and I don’t know how to get him back to Welton”
“Oh shit,” he squeaked on the other line, “is he doing okay?”
“Yeah I mean Chet beat his ass but-” Ginny grabbed the phone from your hand, “but then Y/n grabbed him by the collar and put him in his damn place,” she practically screamed into the receiver.
“Atta girl, Overstreet!” Charlie cheered for you, making you blush as you returned the phone back to your ear.
“Anyway Charlie, can you help?”
“Okay and then just a left up here,” Charlie whispered, groaning as he supported half the weight of your brother. You had decided the best way to get Knox back to his room was to just carry him, you and Charlie each hoisting one of his arms over your shoulders. Knox began to groan as you reached the top of the stairs,
“Knox shhhh,” you said quietly, trying your best not to wake any of the pupils, or God forbid the teachers, who lived in this hall.
Charlie chuckled at you both, turning the corner and gently opening the door to Knox’s room. His roommate was sound asleep in his bed, and you and Charlie made quick work of laying your brother down, removing his shoes and jacket, and tucking him into his bed.
“Sleep good darling,” Charlie joked, placing a gentle kiss on your brother’s forehead.
You and Charlie exited Knox’s room, closing the door as quietly as you could as you giggled to yourselves.
“Thank you so much,” you whispered
“Yeah, yeah, of course,” Charlie said, stuffing his hands in his pockets, “let me…let me walk you home”
“Oh no its okay, really,” you blushed, “I mean you live right here,” you pointed to his room.
“Y/n you’re crazy if you think I’m letting you walk back to Henley Hall by yourself”
“Charlie I’ll be fine”
“Dead poets honor, I’m walking with you,” he said sternly, taking a step closer to you.
“I don’t know what that means, but yes sir,” you nodded, eyes locking with Charlie’s as you two stood no more than a foot from each other in the dark hall for a secon longer than normal. Charlie’s gaze dropped to your lips, his pupils growing darker as he examined them. Your heart beat picked up, and so did your breathing, as your eyes scanned his face, your mind racing with curiosity.
Just as Charlie’s eyes began to close and his face approached yours, a door handle rattled behind him, snapping you both to attention.
“Shit we gotta go,” Charlie whispered, his hand snaking around your waist to spin you around and usher you around the corner and down the stairs.
Once outside you felt a weight leave your shoulders as you and Charlie heaved a sigh of relief. During your escape his hand had traveled from your waist to your hand, his calloused fingers interlaced with yours. Slumped against a tree outside Welton’s gate, you and the boy giggled as you relived the details of your narrow escape from the all-boys school.
“Come on,” Charlie tugged at your hand, standing up from the tree, “lets get you home.”
You used his hand to help pull you away from the tree. As you began walking he threatened to unlace his fingers from yours, but you strengthened your grip, shooting him a quick glance which rested somewhere between pleading and commanding. Charlie simply responded with a simple smirk and the relaxing of his hand into yours as you walked down the empty road.
“So…” Charlie began, “what were you doing at Chet Danburry’s party?” You could sense a hint of jealousy in his voice.
“Oh you know, flirting with football players, taking shots, playing strip poker…” you joked, Charlie’s eyes widened as his cheeks blushed, you couldn’t help but laugh at him.
“Oh really now?” Charlie quipped back, his hand swinging yours, “I wouldn’t suppose football players would be your type then, would they?”
“Most definitely not Mr. Dalton, how dare you suggest such a thing,” you tauntingly reprimanded him.
“Then what would be your type?” Charlie smirked to himself, your hands now swinging quicker between the two of you.
“Hmmmm let’s see,” you pretended to ponder, “I’m particularly fond of boys who go to a certain private boarding school in Vermont…Welton? You may have heard of it,” you joked.
“Oh yes, very prestigious institution,” Charlie retorted.
“And within that category, I must say I’m rather partial to a Welton man who is funny, outgoing, never follows the dress code, has a reputation as a rule breaker,” you sighed, “definitely someone who would help me carry my idiot of a brother back home after getting his ass kicked. Oh, and absolutely someone who would walk me home after helping said brother home,” you scanned the forest to the side of the road, “and I like light brown hair too”
Charlie stopped walking, his hand ceasing to swing with yours. Before you could even process the confusion, the boy who had occupied every single one of your thoughts for the past month was suddenly directly in front of you, his free hand firmly grasping the side of your face as his lips crashed into yours feverishly. His hand let go of yours and slipped around the back of your waist, pulling you flush against his chest as his tongue worked to part your lips and let him inside. Your heart raced as you kissed him back, closing your eyes and sliding your hands up around his neck. You played with the hair on the back of his head as you pulled him closer to you, deepening the kiss even more. As suddenly as it began, your feverish makeout session with Charlie Dalton ended.
“I’ve been dreaming about doing that for so long Y/n, you have no idea”
“Trust me Charlie,” you said breathlessly, “I do.”
He pulled you into a tight embrace, placing a sweet kiss to the top of your head.
“We can never tell Knox about this,” he whispered.
“Nope, never,” you said into his shoulder
“Good morning sleeping beauty,” Meeks joked as Knox groggily walked into Mr. Keating’s classroom. He was obviously hungover and entirely drained after last night. As he walked by Charlie’s desk in the back corner, his friend grabbed his shirt sleeve and pulled him back.
“Hey, you okay?” Charlie asked him, genuinely worried about the state of one of his best friends.
“My head hurts like a bitch and I have no idea how I got home…but yeah I’m okay,” Knox palpated the scab forming under his hair.
“Don’t worry your pretty head Knoxious, we made sure you got home safe,” Charlie slapped his friend on the back.
“We? Oh god how many of you guys were there?” Knox sighed, glancing around the room at all his friends, “and how did you know I was there? I snuck out, didn’t tell any of you where I was going”
“This is the first I’m hearing of it,” Neil said without looking up from his books
“I can tell you for certain I was sound asleep in my bed,” Meeks responded
“Me either,” Pitts chimed in,
As Knox’s attention of the group turned to Todd, the final member of the group, Charlie bagan to panic.
As Todd stuttered, Charlie spoke up, “Y/n.”
“Y/n?” Knox looked back at him, confused.
“She called me, man,” Charlie held his hands up innocently, “told me she didn’t know what to do, so I helped her out.”
“Dalton I told you not to mess with my sister,” Knox rubbed his temple.
“We saved your damn life, Knox. She innocently asked for my help, and I’m a gentleman, so I obliged,” Charlie smirked.
“God dammit Charlie, you can’t date my sister,”
“Who said anything about dating?”
“Charlie, she likes you, everybody knows that. But she’s off limits–”
“Take your seats, gentlemen,” Mr. Keating projected as he waltzed into the room, slamming his poetry book down on his desk, turning to face his students, “Mr. Overstreet, Mr. Dalton, everything alright?”
“Yes captain,” both boys said begrudgingly, Knox taking his seat in front of Charlie.
As the Dead Poets walked down the hallway past the main office, Mr. Nolan opened the door abruptly, “boys. I have a call for you.”
“For me?” Knox questioned, pointing to himself, but Nolan was already in the office. Shrugging, all six boys entered the office, crowding around the small phone on Nolan’s desk. Mr. Nolan gave them a knowing look before closing his office door behind them.
“Hello?” Knox asked into the phone.
“Knox?” You questioned, confused as to why your brother and not the boy you asked for was on the other end.
“Y/n?” Knox covered the phone as he turned to the other boys, “its Y/n”
“Yeah we gathered that much,” Meeks retorted
Knox rolled his eyes at him before uncovering the phone, “why are you calling? Is everything okay?”
“Oh yeah no everything’s fine, I was um,” you panicked, not wanting to expose your intentions, “I um just wanted to check in with you….how are you?”
“Check in with me?” Knox questioned, once again glancing around to the boys.
“Here, give it to me,” Charlie muttered, grabbing the phone out of your brother’s hands, “he’s keen…how are you Miss Overstreet?”
You squealed his name over the phone, making Charlie move the phone away from his ear as the other boys all turned their attention to Knox who was fuming.
“Who all is there?” You asked
“Oh you know, just everybody,” Charlie laughed, blushing as he played with the phone cable
“Dear god, why?”
“Nolan didn’t exactly specify who you were calling for so we uh, we all just filed in…who are you calling for?”
You whispered, not wanting everyone to hear, “you of course, but Knox can’t know that.”
With a nod, Charlie covered the phone, handing it to Knox, “she’s calling for you, wants to know if you think your parents would let her try out for a play”
“A play?” Knox questioned, “Y/n since when have you been into acting?” your brother asked, grabbing the phone from Charlie
“Since um….recently? I don’t know, I figured I should give everything a try in high school. You never know I might have some undiscovered talent” you bluffed.
“Talent, huh? Well I don’t see why you shouldn’t try it. You’re not graduating or anything so you might as well do some non-academic stuff while you can.”
Charlie chuckled at his friend who had taken the bait.
“Yeah yeah, good thinking Knox. Okay well I gotta go, love you, tell everyone bye!” You hung up the phone, leaving Knox standing confused in an office full of all his friends.
“She’s never mentioned acting before…” Knox muttered as Charlie smirked, “what are you looking so smug for, Dalton?”
“What,” Charlie shrugged, smirk growin, “what?”
Knox scoffed as he led the group of boys out of Nolan’s office and back down the hallway.
“Why can’t I talk to her, Knox? What’s the harm in that?” Charlie argued with his friend in his room, Cameron seated awkwardly at his desk as the heated exchange continued.
“Because she’s my sister, Charlie! Everyone knows how you are with girls, right Cameron?”
“Not getting involved…” Cameron waved them off, keeping his nose buried in his chemistry book.
“The point, Charlie, is that she’s off limits.”
“Why?” Charlie was pleading at this point.
“Because she’s my sister! How many times do I have to say it?”
“So what? I’m your best friend! And I like her, I really really like her!”
“Come on Charlie you barely know her”
“Yeah but I want to change that, I want to get to know her, I want to know everything about her,” Knox rolled his eyes, “Knox I know I have a reputation with girls, I know, but I’ve never felt like this before. I’ve never really liked a girl like this before…she’s special”
“Yeah, Dalton, she is. And that’s exactly why she’s off limits”
“So it doesn’t matter that she likes me…her feelings don’t factor in at all”
“Of course they do, but as your friend you just can’t date my sister. Its like a rule”
“Says who, Knox?” Charlie was yelling at this point, unbelievably frustrated at his friends stubbornness.
“I don’t know,” Knox scrambled for words, “but its a thing, and you can’t break it!”
“What if I love her,” Charlie said softly
“What if you what?”
“What if I love her?”
“Charlie you don’t know her,” Knox’s tone matched Charlie’s
“The parts of her that I know…I love”
Knox sighed, placing his hands on his hips as he paced around the room. Cameron turned around to watch the interaction, playing with the end of a pencil in his mouth.
“You mean it?” Knox finally asked after what felt like eternity.
“Yeah, Knox, I mean it.” Charlie nodded, heart pounding.
“Okay”
“Okay?” Charlie questioned
“Okay, then, if you love her, tell her. Tell her how you feel and if she feels the same then there’s nothing I can do about that. Love is a whole other thing, Charlie, I can’t get between that.”
“So-” Charlie began
“But,” Knox interjected, “if you ever hurt her you’re a dead man.”
“I never will, dead poets honor,” Charlie smiled at his best friend.
“Dead poets honor,” Knox nodded, leaving Charlie’s room with a pat on his friend’s back.
“Dalton gets the girl, what’s new?” Cameron scoffed as he turned back to his schoolwork.
Smacking him across the back of his head, Charlie responded “get your head out of your ass, Cameron”
“I don’t actually have to try out for a play do I?” You asked innocently, pulling away to search Charlie’s eyes for an answer
“No,” he laughed, holding you close by your waist, “I think Knox has realized that was a cover by now…at least I hope he has”
“He’s a bit of an idiot…kinda stubborn,” you giggled
“You’re telling me,” Charlie laughed as he pulled you closer, resting his head on top of yours.
The two of you stood in a quiet embrace, eyes closed as you inhaled each others’ scent, warmth and endearment filling your body with each breath.
“Y/n I gotta tell you something…” he sighed, anxiety threatening to get in the way of his confession.
“What’s up?” You asked calmly, pulling away to look up at Charlie
“Um,” he began, eyes searching the sky in an attempt to avoid your gaze, “God I know I shouldn’t say this…and I know its way too soon…and I’ve only really seen you a handful of times…”
You nodded, gaze never leaving Charlie as he stared around you and his adam’s apple bobbed up and down.
“But there’s something you need to know, and for the sanity of both myself and your brother, I just need to tell you.”
“Charlie you’re stalling,” you said, growing more anxious as he blabbled
“I love you,” he said with a sigh, closing his eyes as his head craned up to the sky.
“Hey,” you chuckled, your hand traveling up to caress his cheek and pull his gaze down to meet yours, “I love you too”
“You do,” he snapped out of his daze, his facial muscles relaxing as he looked down at you, “really?”
“Really, Charlie. Yeah its soon, and yeah I don’t know everything about you, but the parts I do know I love,” you smiled.
“That’s exactly what I told your brother”
“You talked to Knox about this?”
“It was either I tell him how I really feel or he kills me”
“I’m glad you picked option A”
“Yeah I am too…I was so scared you weren’t gonna feel the same”
“How could I not?” You laughed as you embraced him, his strong arms wrapping around your shoulders as you nuzzled into him.

Hi! I looooove your writing!!!! If it’s no problem, could you right about the boys (specifically Meeks, but I saw that you write for all of them too, so whichever you prefer doing) having a huge crush on keating’s daughter and maybe asking her out?
Mr Keating’s Daughter | [Steven Meeks/fem!Reader]
"I don't know why you read that, you aren't going to follow it anyways," you muttered. You saw a smile rise as he put the book down.
"It keeps me occupied before classes start," he winked and you rolled your eyes. "Shouldn't you be heading over to your school?"
You scoffed, "Why can't I just go here? It would be so much easier for the both of us," you complained. He only shook his head.
"For you to be surrounded by cute boys to distract you? Now, hurry along or you'll be late for your classes."
You groaned before getting off and heading out. You began walking, you looked around the school and admired the building. The walls adorned by ancient photographs of past alumni. You smiled at all of it.
"Hello?" You heard a boys voice say, it snapped you from your fantasy world.
"Hello?" You said back staring in front of you.
"Do you go here?" He asked and you shook your head.
"I'm a teachers daughter. Just heading to school..." You said approaching him. You noticed him and really took in his features.
Curly ginger hair, brown eyes, and big glasses that took up most of his face. You saw his cheeks turn a rose shade of pink and you smiled.
"Sorry, you must not get a lot of girls around here," you smiled and extended your hand for him to shake.
"No, not really..." He mumbled shaking your hand.
"Well, I really should get going. Another tardy and it's a detention for me," you winked before walking away. He watched as you walked away, still in a trance he didn't notice Mr. Keating behind him.
[POV switch]
"I like you very much Mr. Meeks," he said startling him. "Keep your hands away from my daughter, okay?"
Meeks turned around and nodded nervously. Mr Keating walked away as he stood there frozen. No way that beautiful girl is Mr. Keating’s daughter. He shook the feeling away and continued his walk back to his dorm.
He had forgotten his tie, which wasn’t the first time he did that. He walked it, grabbed it, and walked back to the dinning room. The fuzzy feeling resurfaced, the thought of the girl came back.
He sat by his friends still awestruck.
“Meeks?!” Charlie shouted finally throwing a paper ball at him.
“What?” Meeks said startled, he looked at Charlie who had a smirk.
“Who are you thinking about?” Charlie asked mocking Meeks’ lovestruck look.
“None of your business,” he mumbled moving his food from one side to the other.
“It is so my business,” Charlie scoffed offendedly, “If there’s a girl I have to know!”
“Just leave him alone, he must really like this girl if he is keeping it from us,” Neil defended. The bell rang, saving Meeks from Charlie’s interrogation.
Meeks and Pitts walked besides each other.
“You have to tell me who this girl is,” Pitts said looking at Meeks who was much shorter then him.
“I don’t have to do anything,” Meeks mumbled.
“At least tell me if she’s pretty!” Pitts begged.
“She is very pretty,” Meeks blushed.
“You have go introduce me to her! It’s not everyday that we see girls!” Pitts pleaded.
“Obviously not. Besides she doesn’t go here…” Meeks sighed devastated. Pitts and him entered the classroom, they sat at the back of the classroom. Todd and Neil were in the same class but sat in the front, and Charlie and Cameron were by the windows.
Meeks had trouble concentrating in his classes, the girl was still on his mind.
English rolled around and they all walked together to Mr. Keating’s classroom.
“Good evening gentlemen,” Mr. Keating said smiling at the boys entering. “Good evening Mr. Meeks.”
“Good evening Mr. Keating,” they smiled walking to their assigned seats.
Class went on as usual, until the girl from before interrupted the classroom.
“(Y/n)?” Mr. Keating said as she waved to him.
“Last class was canceled so I decided to come… early.” She whispered walking to him.
“That’s okay, go on to the back and do some homework,” Mr. Keating smiled and patted her shoulder.
“(Y/n),” Meeks whispered.
“Sorry gentlemen, that was my daughter,” Mr. Keating announced. He resumed class without another mention of her.
Class was over as everyone packed up for their final class of the day. It was a short Study Hall class. Yet no one was talking about school or homework or how hard the Latin test was. The only thing people were talking about how beautiful Mr. Keating’s daughter was.
“I so call dibs on her!” Charlie announced.
“You can’t dibs a girl, Charlie!” Neil scolded.
“I so can and I so did,” Charlie smirked. Meeks rolled his eyes at Charlie.
They entered the classroom and split into a group of three. Cameron, Meeks, Pitts and Charlie, Neil, Todd.
“That must be your mystery girl,” Pitts whispered to Meeks who blushed.
“Can you two stop talking about girls? It’s Mr. Keating’s daughter have some respect!” Cameron scolded.
Pitts rolled his eyes at him and continued to talk about her with Meeks.
“Cameron is right, that’s Keating’s daughter. We should be respectful and not talk about her like she’s an object.” Meeks whispered to Pitts.
“Tell that to Charlie, he is going around announcing that she’s going to be his girlfriend.” Pitts whispered back.
“Charlie is starting to piss me off,” Meeks whispered.
Class ended and everyone walked to their assigned dorms. Meeks decided to make a detour to the restroom. Deep down he was hoping to bump into her.
He sighed as he climbed up the stairs with no sign of the young girl.
“Meeks?” He heard a feminine voice say from behind him. He quickly turned around to see her at the end of the stairs.
“Yes?” He responded.
She climbed up the steps and smiled at him, “I was starting to feel like you were avoiding me.”
“Avoiding? Why would I ever do that?” He laughed nervously.
“Doesn’t matter, want to walk with me? I forgot something at school and really should get it,” she smiled and Meeks nodded.
[POV Switch]
You walked besides the nervous boy and began telling him about your day.
“Janine is such a bitch,” you told him. “She’s cheer captain and is so taking my spotlight. I voted for Amelia to be captain but everyone always picks the cheerful two faced girl to be cheer captain.” You laughed.
An awkward silence began. You enjoyed the leaves crunching on the floor.
“So… tell me about your friends, how is Welton like?” You smiled and he shrugged.
“Not as interesting as your school. Being in a school full of boys is kind of lame. We take everything seriously and really aren’t allowed to enjoy ourselves.” Meeks complained.
“I bet, for the tuition your parents pay I would think the staff would be awfully strict. Where I go no one takes anything seriously.” You smiled.
“Must be nice,” Meeks smiled.
You shook your head, “In all honesty… I don’t think I’m being used to my full potential. I take advanced classes yet those feel so unchallenging. I’ve been begging my dad to enroll me at Welton or at the very least Henley Hall! I mean I think I could really use the challenge!” You laughed and he laughed with you.
You entered the school with Meeks following behind. You opened up your locker and took out your math and science textbooks.
The walk back was more quiet then the walk there. You could feel your heart beating quickly as your face reddened.
“So, call me crazy but I really like you,” you smiled at him.
“W-what?” He stuttered.
“Yeah! Although you aren’t very talkative I don’t mind! I can talk for the both of us,” you laughed. “I know my dad probably told you to back off, but I would really like to go out. There’s this really cool library cafe combo Downtown if you’re free on Saturday.”
“I’m very free on Saturday,” Meeks smiled.
“Cool. I’ll see you then,” you smiled at him.
You parted ways from Meeks to go to your dad’s classroom.
[POV Switch]
Meeks walked to his dorm his face red like a tomato. His heart was racing and it felt like he could collapse from a heart attack at any point. He entered his dorm and with a giddy expression.
“What happened? You were gone for like hours,” Pitts asked.
“Well, let’s just say I have a date on Saturday,” he smiled.
“Seriously?! With who? Keating’s daughter?!” Pitts exclaimed and Meeks nodded happily. “That’s amazing! Charlie is going to be so angry!” Pitts laughed.
“To hell with Charlie! I have a date with the prettiest girl ever!” Meeks smiled and flopped on his bed.

Your hand met the wood, knocking at the door, ignoring Charlie standing against the doorway behind you and his smirk. No one answered but you couldn’t stay in the corridor, girls weren’t allowed in the boys' dorms. So your fingers brushed the handle as you pressed your ear on the door, trying to figure out if your boyfriend was in his room.
Still no sound, at worst you could wait for him in his dorm, it would not be the first time. But when you entered the room you found Todd sitting on the edge of his bed, elbows on his knees, staring at the wall in front of him, eyes attached to the theatre representation poster on top of Neil’s bed. He was locked in his own thoughts and didn’t realise you were here.
Your feet padded on the floor and you slowly took a seat next to Todd. When you drew your hand to his shoulder, letting it rest on his sweater, he jumped slightly, surprised to find you next to him. “Are you alright?” you asked, worried could be heard in your voice.
He quickly nodded, too quickly. You weren’t convinced. You knew Todd didn’t like to open up, you always had to wait and reassure him until he dared tell you what was on his mind.
“You can talk to me, you know that?” you whispered in what you hoped was a comforting tone. He glanced at you, eyes wide translating his fear of talking. You gripped his shoulder a little stronger, transmitting to him all your reassurance.
Suddenly, you saw his lips quivering and he turned around, his eyes full of tears and he threw himself in your chest, arms around your middle, he hugged you close. Tears fell from his eyes onto your shoulder and you felt your heart break in your chest, you hated seeing him like this.
You smoothed his sweater and cooed “It’s okay, it’s okay” you kissed tenderly his temple. He pulled away, as if he was ashamed he was crying and wiped his tears with the palm of his hands.
“What’s happening?” you asked, grabbing his hand with yours, your thumb brushing his skin softly. Todd swallowed and tilted his chin, pointing at his desk. Your eyebrows knitted together as you got up, it’s when your eyes landed on a letter, it was from his parents.
You took a quick read and understood. You sat back next to him and wrapped your arms around his shoulders “I’m so done” you heard him mumbling against your neck, his sadness turning into anger for a second.
You held him tighter “I try my best but it’s never enough. Because Jeffrey did better, because he had the best grades in chemistry but not me. I’m not my brother” you heard him choking a few more sobs.
“But maybe I should be. So maybe they would be proud of me” You had to fight the urge to cry. You hated that his parents weren’t proud of him, he deserved so much, because he was giving so much.
Your hand cupped his cheek, tilting his head so he was looking at you “Don’t think that. That’s not your fault if they can’t see how amazing you are”
Todd bit his bottom lip before breaking down even stronger. He looped his arms around your shoulders to hug you, chasing all the reassurance and comfort he needed. He stayed in this position until he was able to talk again, the knot in his throat disappearing, and you were stroking his back, kissing his hair and whispering sweet nothings the entire time.
Todd hated to show when he was feeling insecure. He would always give you a small and shy smile, that you knew was fake, and change the subjects whenever you were asking if he was okay. You tried to find a way to make him open up but he was so stubborn.
You grabbed his hand and felt him tense up a bit before finally relaxing under your touch “Please, don’t change for your parents. You are perfect just the way you are, if they’re not happy that’s their problem” you murmured.
He looked up at you with watering eyes that shattered your heart. You leaned forward, pressing a kiss to his cheek to wipe his tears and you could hear him sob.
“I’m tired” he wept.
You bit your lips, cradling his face between your hands “I understand. It’s going to be okay” you saw he wasn’t convinced by the way he almost rolled his eyes at you. “Soon, you’ll be eighteen and independent. We will live together in a small house, we will have a cat, you will have whatever job you want and write poetry on Sunday as I bake your favourite cinnamon rolls and I will live from my paintings” it was utopic but you knew that was what he needed to hear.
Todd offered you a weak nod as an answer “Sounds great” he smiled before thumbing his tears away.
You pecked his lips “I love you, Todd. I love you just the way you are” the boy gave you a small smile, taking your hand in his.
“I love you too” your eyes widened at the confession. It was the first time he ever told you this. You often reminded him you loved him, it was important for you that he knew this, and he never said it back, he wrote it and he showed it. But you never heard these three words coming from his mouth.
You knew it was hard for him. You grew up in an environment where telling your loved ones you cared about them was normal. It was the opposite for Todd and you were happy to be the one telling him it was good to communicate love and that it didn’t make him weak.
It was your turn to cry, you hugged him as tight as possible and he continued to whisper small ‘I love you’s in your ear, never more glad to have you in his life.
Todd was a real sweetheart.

Neil helps his best friend's sister with Latin. The problem is - he has a crush on her, but knows they could never be together. After all, he couldn't date Charlie's family, it's against the rules. And secondly - Neil is sure Y/n wouldn't have ever talked to him if it wasn't for the tutoring.
Pairing: Neil Perry x dalton!fem!reader
Words count: 1.5k
Warnings: none
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
Tutoring
"Thank you for helping me, Neil." Y/n said as she closed the door of her room. She stopped for a moment and then added, "I didn't ask if you wanted something to drink. Shall I bring tea? Coffee? Juice?"
"Water would be perfect," Neil sent the girl a smile.
As Y/n walked to the kitchen for two glasses of water, Neil unpacked his bag. He had some notes that could be helpful for whatever Y/n could need help with. He was a year ahead, so the things she was learning now, he knew cold.
At least tutoring let him spend some time with Y/n. Charlie wouldn't have a problem with his best friend and his sister having a thing, but that wasn't the problem. The Daltons were rich and that was the problem. If it wasn't for the tutoring, Y/n probably wouldn't even have talked to Neil. Neil's family wasn't poor, they had enough money to send him to Welton, but his father worked hard for this.
"Okay, I'm back!" Y/n announced, setting the cups with water on her nightstand, far away from the books.
"Great, so, what do you have a problem with?" Neil asked, taking a seat by Y/n's desk.
The girl sat down on a chair next to him, smiling. "Oh, you know... Latin." She giggled awkwardly, putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Oh, how beautiful she looked in that moment. A bit blushed, smiling awkwardly. Neil was mesmerized and almost forgot what he came here for.
"Yes, but what in particular?" He tried masking his infatuation. And he was good at it so far.
"You know what, the desk feels uncomfortable for two people, doesn't it?" Y/n grabbed the book and tossed it onto the bed. "Let's sit there, shall we?"
And so they did. In front of each other, with their legs crossed. Neil forgot about his glasses, but he quickly reached into his bag to search for them.
Now Y/n seemed to be a little mesmerized. She hadn't seen him wearing glasses before and that was a very flattering model for him. Neil looked so attractive.
"Glasses suit you," the girl complimented, "do you ever wear them, you know, outside of studying?"
"No," he chuckled, "I don't need to." Right after this he said it, he scolded himself, in his head of course, for saying it. To make it less awkward he added, "Although thank you."
"No problem." Was it Neil's brain playing tricks on him, or did Y/n sound disappointed by his reply? "Okay, so let's start."
"What shall we start with? Do you wanna start from the beginning, or...?"
"No, no, not from the beginnings. I understand the basics, but it's get pretty difficult later on..."
"Yeah, languages have that thing where they get harder the more advanced they get."
The joke made Y/n smile. She pushed Neil playfully and he theatrically pretended it hurt him.
"Maybe we should start with ACI?"
"Accusativus cum infinitivo," Neil smiled at the memory of Charlie laughing at the word 'cum' every time, but to Y/n it just seemed like a kind smile sent to her. "Alright, let's start."
«────── « ⋅ʚ♡ɞ⋅ » ──────»
"I don't get it, Neil, I just don't!" Y/n whined pathetically. She felt truly hopeless if even Neil couldn't help her.
"No, Y/n, calm down, please, and listen to me." He ordered in a lower, but still kind voice.
Y/n looked at him with worry in her eyes. Worry and fear, but she wasn't scared of him. She was scared of not passing the class, failing her whole education.
Her eyes are so beautiful, Neil thought, she looks like a lost, little doe.
"I know what your problem is," he continued, "you don't know the declensions."
"Well, have you seen how many of those are there?"
"Yes, there are five. But why can't you remember them? From what I've seen today, you don't have a problem with conjugations."
"There's only four of those. And they just make more sense, you know? They feel natural to me. Meanwhile how am I supposed to remember it's puella, puellae, another puellae, puellam, puella with the funny line above the a and vocativus is the same as nominativus?"
"Not to brag, but I must be a really good teacher because you've just recited the first declension in singularis."
"I did?" Y/n beamed at the realization. "Neil, you're amazing!" She threw herself onto Neil, closing him in a very tight hug.
They were laying down on the bed. Neil was on his back and Y/n was on top of him. This moment lasted a bit longer than it was appropriate.
Y/n raised herself up, she went back to sit in the spot she was. She realized how inappropriate it was. She thought Neil must've felt so awkward right now. So she began apologizing and explaining.
"I'm sorry." She said. "I made it awkward, didn't I? I don't know what got into me. I guess I just- I don't- okay, there's no explanation," she knew she might take the explaining too far, but she didn't know how to stop this stream of words. "There is an explanation, actually. I like you, yes you've heard it right, I like you. More than a friend, I've had a crush from you since I met you."
Neil sat back in the cross-legged position. He was astonished by this confession. Not because he didn't feel the same. The thing was he did feel the same, but had no idea Y/n would, so he never prepared himself for this moment. He didn't know what to say, because it seemed so impossible to him. It was never supposed to happen.
"Oh no," a whine came from Y/n's mouth, "I knew I shouldn't have said that. I'm so sorry, again. The way we looked at each other today, I thought the feelings were mutual."
"Y/n, calm down." Neil tried to keep his voice relaxed. He didn't want to make himself seem too excited, that could creep the girl out. "I do feel the same."
"You do?"
"I do, I just didn't know you would. That's why I've tried to keep it to myself."
His confession gave Y/n a bit of confidence. "You weren't so good at keeping this a secret today, the way you looked at me was... giving me signals, let's say."
When this problem was solved, there arised another. What were they going to do with it?
"So... what happens now?" Y/n asked.
"I'm asking myself the same question."
"Should we tell Charlie?" Tell him what though, Y/n? Y/n asked herself, This confession didn't change anything, you're not suddenly dating.
"No," Neil laughed, "I don't think he's ready. I don't think he's mature enough."
Y/n nodded with a smile on her face, but didn't say anything. So Neil continued.
"Would you like to start going on dates?"
"Sure, I would love that. What's your first date idea?" Y/n gave Neil a cheeky smile.
Neil's hand suddenly happened to be on Y/n's, intertwined by the fingers. "I will take you to my rehearsal. Afterwards, we can go eat something or have ice cream. What do you say?"
Without an answer, the girl scooted closer to him. Eventually, she gave Neil a reply. "I say, it is a nice idea. You must look so good on the stage, doing what you love to do."
In that moment, Neil blushed, but what made him blush even more, was Y/n's next action. She put her hand on his jawline and pulled him in for a kiss.
He didn't hesitate to kiss her back, but decided to let Y/n stay in control of the pace and everything else. It was a slow, very romantic kiss. It wasn't awkward, it felt as if they kissed so many times before, their lips co-worked just perfectly.
Soon, Neil's hands found their way to Y/n's waist to pull her closer. A moment later, the lovers were laying down on the bed again. But it wasn't going to go anywhere further than this kiss. Neither of them were ready, besides they've just confessed their feelings, it would be too quick.
After a while, Y/n pulled away, letting Neil and herself catch a breath. She laid down next to the boy, taking his hand in hers. She felt him rub her hand with his thumb. It felt so reassuring. Whatever happens later, we'll get through it.
If Charlie finds out, then he finds out and there's nothing he can do about it. If he doesn't like it, it's his problem, he should be mature enough to understand it.
If the parents find out, either Y/n's or Neil's (it didn't matter, because whoever found out, they would tell one another), then that would be a problem. But Neil was sure he would do something about it, he would make up a solution. It wouldn't be the first time he went against his parents' will.
In the worst case, Y/n and Neil would have to wait until they finish high school. After that, they would be adults, free to do whatever they wanted to. Whatever was going to happen, everything would work out in their favour.

Also credits to the girl i saw this from i cant find her username
• So it’s summer!! You and Charlie have been planning to spend the summer together ALL YEAR.
•When you got to his house he was already waiting for you outside. And let me tell you, he was touchy. He was holding your hand to led you to his room or putting his arm around your shoulder or waist.
•Charlie had the idea of moving your bed to his room so you both could talk and gossip all night, but in reality, he just wanted to be with you 24/7.
•You two new how to have a good time. Going out all day, and partying all night.
•Or doing something fun like trying to cook and not burn the kitchen or prank Cameron on the phone.
•He offers to teach you how to play the saxophone but it ends up to be catastrophic, cause lets be honest, charlies doesn’t have the patience to teach anyone.
•You get mad at each other. For like 5 minutes tho. Then you are all the best of friends again.
•At this point it’s like a sister-brother relationship.
•In fact you even fight for food. But its all friendly, you guys act tough then hug each other for like an hour and a half.
•It’s inevitable that he takes you on a date by the lake and plays some music in his saxophone for you.
•He starts being more flirty and teasing with you mire than he usually is. And you end up kissing each other at the end. But you both are cool about it the next morning.
•You run out of clothes so you end up using his and he looks so proud, he loves it!
•You also do makeup sessions on each other and then get all dressed up and call the dead poets to show them your outfits and looks.

Tumblr media
Absolutely!! First Request, kinda nervous 🤭!!
Tumblr media
Snow Days!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: Absolute pure fluff, one kiss, stressful day, crying, comfort.
Pairings: Charlie Dalton/Fem!Reader
A/N: First Ask!! so nervous, hope i did your request justice!!
Tumblr media
“God Damnit! Why won’t this work!” you say, scribbling with a dried out fountain pen.
Your day has been stressful. First, you got dress coded because 13 strands of hair were flying out of your slicked back High Ponytail. Next, you got detention because Brad and jerry were trying to hit on you in class and you were deemed as a “distraction” of the classroom. And the tip of the god forsaken iceberg was your favourite fountain pen stopped working.
This day couldn’t get any worse, could it?
“Please! please, please work! i don’t have another pen!!!” you scream at your pen. Your one page away from finishing your essay. you’ve been procrastinating this for three days because your “creative juices” weren’t flowing the right way
“What the hells all this commotion about?” Charlie dalton questions, running into your room as he heard your pleas. “Charlie, not now.” your voice is trembling, lip quivering as you try not to look at the boy. “Hey, Hey, Hey? What happened?” he rushes over to you sitting down next to your chair.
“I got dress-coded, Jerry and brad are going to get murdered in 3 seconds, and this pen is PISSING ME OFF!” you burst into tears, hiding your face in the palms of your hands.
He wraps his arms around you, holding you in his embrace as you curl into a ball. His hugs changed the chemical balance of your brain, they were so warm and full of genuine love.
“Wanna go on a walk sweetheart? It’s snowing, and you love snow.” he questions, pushing a strand of hair out of your face. You nod and put on your winter coat before taking his hand walking out of your room, down the hall, down the stairs, and out the entryway of Hellton.
You walk for a while, stopping every once in a while to look at the birds and the trees, you found a lost sock, and you both laughed about that for a little while.
“This was amazing, you always know what to do to cheer me up Charlie.” you smile, his hands resting around your waist as you sling your arms around his neck. “anything for my girl.” he smiles before leaning in and kissing you gently, filled with love and affection.
You break the kiss and smile at him. You rest your head against his chest and he perks his chin on your head. “Your the Best boyfriend anyone could ask for, Dalton.” you smile against his chest. “Took you that long to figure out?” he laughs.
You slap his chest playfully before throwing snow at him. “Lats time ill ever compliment you!” you smile, turning around before being shoved by a snowball. you whip your head around to see him innocently smiling.
“CHARLIE DALTON!” you yell, chasing after him.
That boy will be the death of you.

Hello! Could I please request a Steven Meeks x Charlie Dalton x Reader like they are both dating the reader but not each other if that makes sense<3 any plot u want
I tried my best😭it’s been a while since I’ve written something so this might be a little short (and horribly written). But I might redo this later, but I hope you enjoy this:p
Charlie Dalton x Fem!reader x Steven Meeks
Charlie sat on Yn's bed, waiting for his girlfriend to hurry downstairs. Welton had just entered their winter break, and Charlie wanted to spend the entire time with her. Yn came back up and opened her door, with Steven following behind her. "Look who finally showed up—late as usual," Charlie teasingly said to the boy. Steven rolled his eyes and took off his coat, placing it on the ground.
Charlie couldn't help but smile at the sight of Yn and Steven together. Despite their constant bickering, they had formed a close bond over the years. As they all settled down in Yn's room, Charlie felt a sense of warmth and contentment.
"How's Welton?" Yn asked as she sat next to Charlie, while Steven laid down on the bed with his head in Yn's lap. "Oh, you know, same stuff as last year. Everyone is so insufferable," Charlie complained to Yn as she played with Steven's hair. "Aw, my poor boy," Yn said softly. Charlie blushed at the comment. "Yeah, it's whatever I guess. Just one more year and I'll graduate," Charlie sighed. He then shifted his attention to Steven, who was looking up at Yn with love in his eyes.
Yn watched Charlie as his eyes landed on her affectionate touch towards her other boyfriend. They had been together for almost 9 months. "Char, look at me," Yn said, bringing one hand to his chin and shifting his head towards her. Charlie stared into her eyes. "You're so cute," Yn teased, and Charlie groaned. He loved her affection, but he was just stubborn and had to maintain his ego.
"Yn," Steven whined, wanting her attention too. "Hmm?" Yn asked, and Steven sat up, turning his body towards her. "Can I kiss you?" Steven asked quickly, his face slightly red.
Yn nodded, allowing the boy to kiss her gently. Charlie played with the girl's hair, brushing it away from her face. He moved closer to the two while Steven continued to kiss her. Charlie then kissed Yn's neck, causing her to jump slightly. She pulled away from Steven, and he groaned while glaring at Charlie.
"What's wrong, Yn?" Charlie asked innocently, and she rolled her eyes. Steven grabbed Yn's chin, forcing her to look at him. "I want to kiss you," Steven murmured, his glasses slipping slightly down his nose.
Steven gently cupped Yn's face and continued to kiss her, while Charlie's warm breath grazed her neck. Yn softly whimpered against Steven's lips, her hands entwined in his hair. Charlie tenderly kissed her neck from behind, his arms wrapped around her waist. He whispered praises into her ear, saying things like "so pretty," "love you so much," "our good girl," and many more endearing words.

Hello !! First I hope you’re doing okay and you’re having a wonderful day ! I wanted know if it’s possible to request a oneshot with Neil Perry ! Like their first big argument and good old angst about him forgetting a date to go hang out with his friends or whatever you want 🤭!! but with happy ending because I love him way too much !! Thank youuu and have a wonderful day again !
Promises [ Neil Perry x fem!Reader ]
You waited, dressed and ready to go. Neil promised, he said he would be there by 9 pm so that you could make it to your reservation. It’s 10:30pm now with no sight of him. You decided to call his number again to see if he would answer.
The person you’re trying to reach isn’t available, to leave a voicemail wait for the beep. Beep…
“Hey Neil, it’s (Y/n) again. Just wondering when you’ll be back? Return my calls when you’re able to…” You whispered the last part before hanging up. You turned your phone off, your heart sinking as tears began to form in your eyes.
Neil wasn’t the type to just forget about you or a date or a commitment just in general. What if he was kidnapped? Mugged? Robbed? Shot? So many thoughts ran through your mind. You began to hyperventilate, you got up and began to pace around your apartments kitchen.
“Please answer,” you mumbled looking at your phone.
12am rolled around and you decided to call again. Maybe he was caught up at work and his boss was being an ass.
“Hello?” Finally, Neil answered.
“Hey, where have you been?” You mumbled. You felt your body relax at the sound of his voice.
“I’m hanging with Charlie. He thought it would be a great idea to come to the bar for a couple of drinks. Why?” He asked. The feeling of worry vanished and was replaced with disappointment and anger.
“Goodnight.” Was all you mustered up. You hung up and walked to your bedroom.
A bar? Drinks? Charlie Dalton? You weren’t mad about the date. It could have always been rescheduled. You weren’t the kind to stop Neil from hanging with his friends. But, to miss all your calls? To ignore you to drink with his friends? All he had to do was call you and ask to change the date! You didn’t care!
You undressed yourself and put on your nightgown. You took your make up off and did your face routine. You did it all with furry. Your heart was racing and your hands were shaking. Tears in your eyes you laid in bed. You checked your phone to see no new messages. You scoffed and fell asleep.
The next morning rolled around as you began to get ready for work. For a brief moment you forgot about it. That’s until you received a phone call from him. You decided to ignore him. You didn’t want to start the day off on the wrong foot. You opened up your door and began walking to work.
The busy streets of Chicago gave you a peaceful vibe. People hated the noise of the city but you loved it. You were from a small town in Virginia and Chicago was such a different vibe from there. You clocked in and turned your phone off. You wanted no distractions, no messages, nothing.
You walked out of work and to your apartment. Walking from the elevator you saw Neil Perry holding a bouquet of roses. You scoffed and walked towards him.
“You weren’t picking up my calls so I decided to see you…” He said but you ignored him. You unlocked the door and slammed it in his face. He knocked on your door but you ignored it.
“Is everything okay?!” He shouted knocking on the door. You grumpily walked to the door and opened it. “I’m going to take that as a no…”
“Yeah Neil, I’m not very happy with you right now,” you scoffed not allowing him inside the apartment.
“What did I do?” He asked and you rolled your eyes.
“Not only did you have me worried but you also ditched me to hang out with your friends,” you explained and the realization dawned on him.
“I thought I was missing something, I swear I’ll make it up to you,” he begged but you shook your head.
“It wasn’t about the date Neil, I don’t care about it. I care that I was here, crying and worried! I thought you were injured, I thought someone had mugged you and left you to die! Do you ever understand how scared I was? I left you hundreds of messages! A ‘I’m fine’ or a ‘I’m out with my friends’ would have been great! But no you decided to not answer me!” You shouted with tears in your eyes. Your voice was shaky, “I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if you had died Neil, but you didn’t have a care in the world!”
He stood there, his heart aching.
“I didn’t know… Charlie took my phone and I was out with my friends. You know I haven’t seen them in years.” He said attempting to defend himself.
“This is pointless Neil. I just, I just don’t want to see you right now. I’m angry and disappointed. Your lack of empathy is sickening right now. I want to be alone,” you said slamming the door in his face. You leaned on your door and began to sob. The feelings coming all at once like a wrecking ball. It was like he didn’t understand how it felt to be up all night waiting for someone to answer you.
You woke up the next morning. Luckily for you it was your day off. You laid in bed with your favorite candy and confort show on. Your phone was on your nightstand charging. You sobbed every few seconds. You hated arguing with Neil, growing up your parents were verbally abusive towards each other. Arguing and yelling was the thing you always tried to not do.
You heard a knock on the door. Maybe you could pretend not to be home.
“I know your home,” you heard from the other side. Neil. You sighed and got up. You walked to the door and opened it.
“Before you start talking hear me out, please.” He said and you sighed. “I realize how big of an asshole move that was. I didn’t want to worry you or ditch you or cause you any harm. I had a rough day at work and well I need to blow out some steam and Charlie offered to take me to a bar and grab some drinks while the guys were in town. I forgot about our plans and while I was going to check my phone Charlie took it out of my hands. I didn’t purposely ignore you and the second I got it back I answered you. It wasn’t my intention to ignore you and I will be having a chat with Charlie about not taking my phone. Please forgive me…” He stopped and looked at you. Tears were falling from your eyes as you brought him in for a hug.
“I don’t like arguing with you Neil. I was just so worried yesterday. My mind doesn’t work like everyone else’s. My mind doesn’t go to ‘he is probably still at work’ I instantly think you’re being murdered or something…” You cried, your face nuzzled on his neck as he hugged you tightly.
“I promise it will never ever happen again, I swear it.” He whispered not daring to let you go.

“Just stop moving!” you whined, your tongue poking out in the corner of your lips and your eyebrows furrowed. You were sitting on Charlie’s lap on his bed, his back resting against the wall, your legs wrapped around his waist, keeping him close.
Charlie let out a laugh “It hurts!” you were trying to braid his hair because it grew out a bit lately and he was going to cut it soon but it seemed to be impossible, it was still too short.
You leaned back, looking at him from a wider angle and you had to fight the urge to break down in laughter “It’s ridiculous, right?” he chuckled.
And you shook your head “Nooo” you lied with a smile as you gathered all his left hair between your fingers. You were so focused, eyebrows knitted together and your bottom lip caught between your teeth. Focuses, you were surprised by Charlie when he leaned forward to capture your lips into a quick kiss.
He pulled away, proud of his move when he saw your flustered state and offered you a wide smirk. You frowned your eyebrows before giving him a wicked smile, you twisted the handful of his hair, making him wince in pain “Hey!” he forgot you had this power.
Charlie stopped moving because he didn’t want to suffer anymore and you finally could tie the last little pigtail. “You are…” you squinted your eyes, smiling at your boyfriend in a teasing way “Beautiful”
Charlie huffed before leaning forward without stopping until you had to lie down on his bed. His arms enclosed you and his stupid smirk was right above your face. But what he didn’t think about was his two pigtails at the top of his head, hanging in front of him.
“You can’t have this effect on me anymore” you grinned, Charlie was the confident and teasing one in your couple so it was pleasing to see him trying to find a way to make you shy.
You stared at the pink elastic bands, digging your top teeth into your bottom lip to hold back your laughter. Your stare fell to his eyes, looking with such intensity that he let out a timid chuckle “You are the shy one now”
Charlie sniggered “Oh c’mon” you said with this adorable smile of yours “It was good!” you knew he was making fun of your attempt to flirt.
His eyes were wide as he tried to keep a serious face “Sure” he giggled. With one last laugh, he got up, freeing you from his grasp. When he lifted his head, he met his reflection in the small mirror above Cameron’s desk. Cameron hated it but Charlie had it from one of his siblings for his birthday and his wall was already full of posters and other random things. Cameron agreed to hang it on his wall in exchange for two weeks without paying the saxophone.
As he saw himself in the mirror he realised how silly he looked. “I bet I’m better than you to tie hair” he challenged you.
“It’s not my fault your hair is too short!”
Charlie, stubborn as ever, shook his head before taking the elastics off his hair, sliding them on his wrist with a happy smile “My turn!” You knew he was going to rip off your scalp just by brushing your hair.
With a sigh you took you sat at the edge of the bed. You felt his hands gathering all your hair aggressively “Ouch” After several minutes of him pulling and twisting your hair (and hurting you) without doing it on purpose, he was finally done.
Charlie’s hands covered your eyes as he dragged you in front of the mirror “Tadaaa” he sang before letting you see yourself. You gasped when you could observe what he did to you.
“That is…” There was an attempt of french braids but it was messy and unsymetrical, one braid was even half done “...” no word came out and you saw Charlie starting to get offended “... good… for a first time”
“It’s horrible, right?” he laughed, finding you adorable as you tried to find positive points in this mess of hair and elastic bands. You turned around, sliding your arms around his neck.
You stood on your tip toes, almost touching his lips with yours “It is” Charlie closed the gap between the two of you and kissed you with a quiet laugh. “But it’s okay. You’re still good at kissing”
Charlie let out a chuckle before kissing you again. And again.

I have so many ideas but I can’t choose which to write first in my very limited weekend time 💔 help me pick 💕💕
Here’s some more in depth info about each one:
1. Ghost!Neil Perry x reader, it’s the 1980s at Welton and the school has evolved to be more progressive (ex. allowing students of different genders) and the reader meets Neil on a midnight walk, prompting the rest of the story. Includes shenanigans and love and relative fluff to bittersweet angst.
2. Charlie Dalton x reader inspired by seven (Taylor swift); reader and Charlie were bffs as kids but because his parents didn’t like your family (rich vs the lower middle class), he was pulled away from you and you eventually moved cities. You reconnect in college after Neil’s passing. Includes childhood fluff and grown-up angst.
3. Charlie Dalton x fem!reader comfort, you don’t feel pretty while he believes you’re the most beautiful girl on earth. Includes self-confidence angst and tooth-rotting fluff.
4. Charlie Dalton x reader. When he brings the girls to the dead poets meeting, the girls were forced to bring you along because you’re a family friend. He ends up connecting with you more than the others and realizes that he doesn’t want them, he wants you. Includes jealousy and eventual fluff.
