Inbox Summary 9/29/2023

Hi peeps, so I'm going to try something new. For some of your Asks in my Inbox, instead of answering them individually, I'm going to do a combined summary post of all of them.

I'm doing this because a lot of the questions are about past stuff I've already answered. I don't have time to keep answering the same questions (Search is your friend, my friends), I don't want to take up space on my blog to answer stuff that has already been answered, and the main thing is, I'm TIRED.

I'm in one of my fandom "meh" moods. I get into fandom funks every once in a while, where I'm over it, and don't feel like posting. BUT, I love you guys, and I know the next big scoop is just around the corner. Every time, I say to myself, I'm just going to fandom retire, Cait gets engaged, Sam is seen with a new woman, Cait gets married, Sam is seen with a new woman, I get the scoop AHEAD of time that Cait is pregnant (remember when I posted MONTHS before that someone from Outlander was pregnant? and 'lo and behold, that August, Cait announced she'd had her son), Sam is seen with a new woman, Cait has her baby, etc, etc. So, I don't give up...because I know there's more stuff coming, and also, like I said, I really enjoy my Team here.

So, what I'm going to do is either on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, depending on how busy I am, I'm going to do a weekly summary of answers to some of my Inbox questions. They will be short answers. And for further details, you guys can just Search my blog or Search Google.

I'll still answer some questions individually, but it will depend on the subject, and how busy I am in RL. Please keep sending me questions and DM's. I'll answer them. Some won't be answered as in depth as others, that's all.

Sam is still in the UK. Cait is in Paris.

Sam is expected in New York next week, for the Keepers of the Quaich event ON Cait's birthday, October 4. For those gnashing "why do you think Cait wouldn't go to New York to spend her birthday with Sam?! She could?! They're friends?!" Um, yes, they're friends...but REALITY CHECK: Cait is married to Tony McGill and has a toddler son with him. Logic dictates that Cait and family aren't going to schlep from Europe to New York to be with Sam, who is simply her friend and costar, and NOTHING MORE. Cait will spend her birthday with her husband and son, and she has a TON of friends, she's not going to fly to NY expressly for Sam. Plus, he's BUSY on her birthday, remember? He's going to be at that Keepers of the Quaich event.

No, Sam and Sophie Skelton never dated. Sam never posts who he dates (except when he went Instagram official with Mackenzie Mauzy, but that was after 2 years of a committed relationship), and he posted pics with Sophie on a motorcycle at his Glasgow home. If they were secretly dating, he would have been much more secretive about it. I mean, I hope Sam is into some kink, but da/daughter ain't one of them. Who's your daddy? hahaha.

By now, we all know Sam's ex, Abbie Salt is fighting some type of cancer. Yes, she hasn't posted in a while. I'm worried about her too. But her sister, Charlotte Salt, has posted, and she posts on her professional design IG accounts as well. If Abbie had taken a turn for the worse, I don't think her sister would be posting. I hope Abbie makes a full recovery, wish her all the best.

Yes, I know, Sam's ex, Anna Modler is pregnant and having a baby girl.

Thanks for letting me know that two other of Sam's exes, Hannah James and Mackenzie Mauzy recently started following birthing, doula, and parenting accounts on IG. Looks like their next adventure is motherhood. Also wish them all the best.

The podcast with that IG influencer that was supposedly going to have some Sam content, as far as I know, there hasn't been any Sam mention. So, that was all smoke and mirrors, trying to get some free advertisement. Nothing to see there.

The two blonde, blue-eyed Scottish IG influencers supposedly being linked with Sam. I see no evidence of that. Again, seems to be just smoke and mirrors, and names dropped in my Inbox to see if I would post them or not. Nothing to see there.

Asking for a cheat sheet of the women Sam has dated and what do certain initials mean. I've done plenty of posts summarizing the women Sam has dated. Please Search my blog or Search Google. As for initials, I don't use initials, I post full names. So, if you see a woman's initials, match them to the full names I've posted.

Cait's dad's funeral. And do I have questions about Sam being there? Um, that's all Extreme Shipper bullshit, lies, spin, deception, and now they've sold it as shipper canon. NO, I don't have any questions because WHO was at Cait's father's funeral is VERY clear. Again, Search what I've posted. There are pic, video of Cait sitting next to her mother, and the "Sam is sitting next to Cait but he's wearing a wig" is her brother. NOT Sam. Tony is sitting in the rows behind, holding baby BalfeMcGill, as are other spouses. NO ONE from Outlander went to Cait's dad's funeral. Please THINK. Cait has a big family and she has a TON of friends, some she has known for YEARS. If anyone was going to go all the way to Ireland for her father's funeral, it would be her immediate and LARGE extended family, all the family's friends in Ireland, and then Cait's close friends. Sam and Outlander people aren't even in the first few rungs of WHO would get invited to the funeral. And yes, that includes, Sam Heughan. Besides, Sam was in Las Vegas during the funeral, and there are lots of posts showing that.

I know the TRUTH about Cait and Sam never dating, and Cait being with Tony since 2014. I know this thru verifiable and identifiable sources who directly and personally know Cait, Sam, and Tony. So, there are NO questions for me, because I've known the TRUTH for 9 years. It's that simple.

As, for my little frothy pet troll who sends me weekly rants about Sam. You can keep going, but all I do is laugh and laugh at how pathetic you are. What you write doesn't upset me because I'm not personally invested in Sam. I'm really not. I post about him because I get info about him, and people are interested in it. But I don't care one way or the other. My IP tracker tells me where the basement is from where you gnash and froth so desperately. So, go ahead, make my day, but I'm NEVER going to post what you send me. You'll never get that satisfaction. Never. Try me.

I'm all for POC solitary but the simple truth is that the other nonblack WOC Disney Princesses are afforded more attention by Disney than Tiana. Aladdin has two sequels and a series. Pocahontas and Mulan both have two movies. The princess and the frog doesn't have a sequel (and it's not like it's a new movie like Moana! It's older thank Frozen, which has two movies and an actual section on disney plus dedicated to all the extra Frozen content. Also, Tangled also has a series despite being older than TPATF)

Tiana simply isn't getting enough attention.

Tiana has been ignored by Disney for ages and it is just so unfair. It’s clear at this point that they made her as a quota to make Black women shut up because they didn’t even put any heart in it. They made her the “Strong Black Woman” and had her overwork herself while giving her a pink-clad and feminine white blonde “princess” best friend. Then they turned her into a frog, made her literally only a human for the beginning and end of the movie. And THEN AND THEN RIGHT AFTER THAT they made a pretty delicate white blonde princess with shimmering golden magical hair in a typical fantasy fake-German setting, like I see what you did there Disney...just a huge slap in the face to Black girls feeling represented by Tiana that only served to remind us that Black women will never be worthy of the fairytale life to Disney’s eyes...they couldn’t even give us a genuine African/African-American fairytale...they forced Tiana’s story to be “realist”, set in the 1920s during segregation where racism was rife and she had to sit in the back of the bus, showing how Black girls can never be fairytale princesses, we can only struggle and suffer oppression. 

And then right after that made a genuine light-hearted and magical fairytale with a pretty girly white princess Rapunzel. And then they made Brave. And then they made Frozen. Even the other princesses of color got this, Pocahontas even got a whimsical romance and that is arguably even worse as they made her adultified/sexualized fall in love with a colonizing piece of shit, but back to Tiana...they never truly cared about her or her story or the Black girls with princess dreams that they claimed to represent...I mean for goodness sake her name was originally going to be “Maddy” and she was conceptualized as a chamber maid to a white Southern Belle(who eventually became her best friend in the final product...🫤). And I like Tiana, as well as Charlotte, as well as the movie on a whole, but umm... 

It shows that Disney does not care. Or at least didn’t care when they made it. The worst part is that they DID do Black girls right with Cinderella(1997), my all-time favorite movie, but it’s relatively obscure outside of the Black community. Cinderella was excellent. What’s stopping them from doing it again? Hopefully they’ll do right by us with the new The Little Mermaid movie, but I have my doubts already with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Aquafina being a part of it...and according to a friend of mine they didn’t even give Ariel a Black family and her prince also isn’t Black(I don’t think Disney has ever had a Black prince despite having three Black princesses 😭 ik we’re talking about misogynoir here but that’s still...well...not great...). But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

how to realize i've had enough academically speaking today: i started to think about rafael and luca's domestic life, in case they somehow meet and get together after rafael's divorce.

#oc talk #i imagine he would be heartbroken but luca would be able to lift his spirits just by existing. luca would come home #after doing grocery shopping and he would be like 'ah!! i forgot salt and cheese!' while rafael's all 'its ok<3 i'll buy it get comfy' #he would be. really protective; the type to kill the bug except luca would feel bad so he asks him to put it outside instead. #these little kind gestures he shows through the day would enamour him more tbh. i dont think they would fight that much #because luca is just too soft to get angry; and he would be way too soft towards him to get angry at anything he does. #ok maybe he would get a bit angry on the whole 'not doing anything else besides blocking to the person who sends me death threats' #but its not directed at him its more the frustration over the fact he seems to be too kind and non confrontational for his own good. #a family can be a femboy who lives off streaming on twitch; a divorced soldier #and the guy who seems part of their lives because he loves to send said femboy horrific and medically accurate death threats. #also finally luca can live off something that isnt delivery or instant noodles because rafael will cook sometimes for the both of them #although he also doesnt know to cook. a lot of things bc charlotte used to be in charge of that (like the fucking patriarchy /j /s) #but hey at least they can eat homemade soup. or chicken wings. its better than nothing. #another thing is that he would feel suspicious of anything luca's fans send him and inspect the package just to see it doesnt contains. #an explosive or something KJDNKJDSNFJNJ the package needs to surpass his vibe check /j #oh and he would feel extremely awkward appearing on stream even if accidentally so whenever luca is Working™ #he secludes himself on the living room and talks to mary or smth. luca on the other hand would probably talk about him on stream #whenever he knows he will be busy and not come home for a few days or more. he would miss him a lot:c #another thing before going to sleep and because i needed to say it: rafael's sex life would suffer a significant downgrade. and i dont mean #that sex became bad; moreso he doesnt have sex like. ever. his meat stick has no use now besides peeing #maybe now that hes dating someone though luca may be open to have sex SOMETIMES; but for him sometimes is like. 1 time every 2 months #and rafael's used to be way more sexually active (plus the few times would need to be way softer compared to how he was used with charlotte #i imagine that can be a bit frustrating tbh and as any guy traumatized by being cheated on (even more on his case) he would be #somewhat scared that luca doesnt likes him actually and that hes already looking for someone else/has someone else 'satisfying' him already #he realizes it doesnt makes sense at all because hes not that type of person; or so it seems. he was already tricked once for years. #but its ok they will find a solution because theyre 💖💘💖IN LOVE💖💘💖 the lingerie luca had for onlyfans could be useful for something #probably

Pro-Palestine Brands That You Can Support!

In the spirit of the BDS Movement and other boycott attempts done across the globe, here is a thread showcasing brands that are pro-Palestine (or at least unaffiliated with Israel as of October 2023).

Worth noting is that someone on the thread above mentioned that Ben & Jerry's are pro-Palestine. This is partly true as the FOUNDERS of Ben & Jerry's, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield filed a lawsuit against Unilever to stop all sales in Israel. Unfortunately, they lost the case and the brand instead has stopped all sales in Palestine while still being available in Israel.

I have seen a lot of beauty brands being mentioned such as e.l.f, Pat McGrath Labs, Charlotte Tilbury (whose brand ambassador is Bella Hadid, famously known for being pro-Palestine and is half-Palestinian herself), Fenty Beauty, and even Dior (09/11/2023 edit #1: Dior is no longer on this list as they replaced Bella Hadid with an Israeli model, along with Fenty Beauty as Rihanna is also a brand ambassador for Puma and they had released a collaboration with the brand on September) but besides from Huda Beauty and Delhicious I have yet to see any explicit showcase of support from any other major brands so please take any information regarding beauty brands outside of the ones we are boycotting with a grain of salt.

You can also help by ordering Krispy Kreme (side note: this excites me because I love Krispy Kreme) from this link as it is for a fundraiser by students at the UCLA. Krispy Kreme may not be directly involved, but it is still good to know that this is a viable option. (09/11/2023 edit #2: corrected some missing info)

Here is also a list of ten Palestinian-owned brands that you can support.

May I also add, if you live in a country that is for the most part if not 100% politically supportive of the Palestinian cause like Ireland, Indonesia (where I live), Malaysia, etc., chances are your local brands are pro-Palestine, at least in spirit, so you can opt for them instead. If you also know any local businesses owned by Palestinians in your area, support them as well!
