What was your Fandom obsession before star wars?

Harry Potter.

I read it in my 20's even though all my friends read it when we were teens. I fell in love with the Marauders and their story and have read so much Wolfstar fanfiction that sometimes I forget its not technically canon.

I love that the fandom has taken it and made the story its own in spite of the author being, ya know, her.

I also got swallowed by the Shadow and Bone series while reading it, but surprisingly once I picked up a new book I just moved on 🤷‍♀️
