I have a new winter jacket, which is great, since my last one has been too small ever since I gained weight and it all went directly to my boobs. (Note to self: need to talk to doctor about breast reduction at the start of my insurance year.)

Unfortunately, it's a matte dark blue and very boring looking. I want to embellish it somehow, but the outer shell needs to stay waterproof, so I can't sew or add fabric patches. I've found a few things online about heat-transfer vinyl, but I don't have the tools for that. Anyone have suggestions?

WIP on my kiddos customized Jean jacket. They wanted a cat for the focal back piece and this was picked. They also chose the colors for the cat as well. Paper piecing is so much fun!

I'm glad this dress turned out nice ! I got it when I was 15 and obsessed with Enchanted. The top was shirred with a deep bikini style cleavage and it did not age very well so I ended up cutting it. But it did not make a great skirt either. Finally, I decided to sacrifice a bit of the skirt width to make a new top and turning it into a babydoll dress.

It finally looks the way I wish it did when I bought it ♥️.
