Not once has an accident ever happened to Yuu during work hours, both back home and here in this universe. Unfortunately, though, that track record finally came to an end. Apparently, while working at maid cafe she’s never told anyone about, one customer had gotten too flustered while having Yuu as their waitress. The result ended up having them accidentally use their Quirk on her, and because the only deactivation it has is a time limit, she’s no choice but to end her shift early and go home.

It wouldn’t have been a problem if the Quirk wasn’t something that made her as tiny as a sharpie pen’s cap, but alas, luck was not on her side, nor did it stop there. Going home meant calling for help, but nobody knew that she secretly works here at a maid cafe of all place. Not only that, but she can barely even use her dingy, flip phone… She had no choice but to let her coworker call up someone on her phone.

Which was Yamikumo. He’s going to find out about this secret job. And find a shrunken Yuu in a maid outfit. In a maid cafe.

She wanted to die.

The chime of bells filled the air as the front door of the maid cafe swung open. Yamikumo still didn’t really understand why he’d been called there.

“Hello?” he called. “Someone called-”

“Welcome master!” he was cut off by a bouncy girl with pastel pink hair, dressed in the standard frilly attire of a run of the mill maid cafe. “May I have the pleasure of serving you?”

....This was... something.

“Uh, n-no, that’s okay.” Yamikumo cleared his throat. “I, ah, got a call that my friend was here? The person on the other end said that she was in an accident and needed someone to pick her up?”

“Oh!” Pinkie’s customer service smile slipped. She gestured for him to follow and then turned and started walking through the restaurant. “Yeah, she’s back here. Some jerk discharged their quirk and she got hit, so we let her hide out in the cafe. Her, uh, normal clothes were dirtied so we lent her something for the time being.”

It took Yamikumo exactly 0.000000000002 seconds to put together what that meant.

Uraraka.

In a maid outfit.

...Huh.

Kane was walking back early to the dorms following a workout, his tape player was on full volume as he belted the Harry Belafonte classic song. It was the weekend again so that meant wasting the whole day with b-grade horror and not a care in the world. Sadly that meant the lumbering giant didn’t realize he was walking into someone. “S-Sorry! I wasn’t paying attention, are you okay?” His dark appearance was somewhat foreboding but his demeanor conflicted that and this was the moment Kane knew they either fought or ran normally.

lipstick or chapstick: i own a couple tubes of lipstick but even before the pandemic i rarely ever wore it. me cosplaying boys 95% of the time never helped that, but i carry chapstick with me 24/7 bc my lips weirdly got addicted to it years and years ago so deff a choice of chapstick for me lol

last song i listened to: Bombshell Blonde by Owl City

last movie i watched: FOX’s Anastasia for probably the 20th time lol

top three tv shows: American Horror Story, Kitchen Nightmares, and Pokemon bc I couldn’t think of a third one I watch regularly now bc I don’t have cable anymore lol

top three characters: Bakugou, Momo, and Shoto (picking just three is rude and hard lol)

top three ships: oh god picking three is rude ahsodghdaisghs. todobaku, todomomo, and toss up between kiribaku and kacchako for the third bc I have too many Bakugou ships lol

books i’m currently reading: I'm in the process of re-reading the Captive Prince trilogy for the fifth or sixth time, and on the side reading Midnight Sun bc I used to be a massive Twilight simp back in the day and I need plenty of reading during naptime fodder lol

Yuu left a present in front of Yayoi's door. Inside were a pair of earmuffs and gloves of surprisingly good quality, along with an envelope containing a letter: "Took a bit of searching and saving to get these for you. Merry Christmas, Yayoi-chan. You also get 5 free passes to dress me up however you want. -Yuu" Apparently, 5 pieces of paper were also inside, each on literally saying 'free pass to doll up Yuu'. “Oh, these are so cute!” Yayoi slipped the gloves over her fingers. So warm!

She looked over the letter and the little tickets, her grin widening. Now this was something she’d be getting good use out of.

         She loved blood. It was beautiful, like glistening rivulets and pools of rubies. It was ridiculously sweet, like what the very nectar of the gods would taste like. It was beautiful, truly so, so beautiful...when it wasn’t hers. When she wasn’t hurt, because that was just nothing but a damn pain. 

         Nothing about her blood was all that good compared to everyone else’s. She didn’t understand why, no matter how much she tried to convince herself for the sake of those stupid appearances. She like to avoid seeing it as much as possible. But when the inevitable happened...well, she was lucky sweet little Yuu seemed to have found her. Well, she didn’t feel like dying or getting caught up in unnecessary mess, so of course she’d let the girl take her to her little hiding place. It wasn’t anything fancy, but hey, better than going to a hospital or someplace. Even if it would be better than sitting on the colder floor and wringing out bloodied rags into a bucket–

        “Bet this wasn’t how you thought your day’d go, huh, Yuucchan?”
