- Can’t bake for shit tho

- Made up a lullaby that he sings to Tails to help him sleep. It’s been effective since the kit was 4

- In the warmer months, Sonic scouts out nice places for his annual picnic with Amy. He loves hanging out with her and enjoying sweets!

steve falls in love with eddie because he's this perfect amalgamation of everyone he's ever loved.

there's nancy's curly brown hair, of course, but also her fierce stubbornness and her bashful little smile when steve is being purposefully obtuse. there's tommy's passion, his impulsivity, his need to get under steve's skin in the best way possible. there's jonathan's quick remarks with a crooked grin and heather m's soft touches on bruised skin and robin's flailing hands when she talks that steve loves so much.

there's even the dorkiness of his kids that only amplifies when eddie's around them, all their talks of fantastic worlds that steve knows nothing about but nods along like he gets it. there's the bright blinding smiles that seem to pull at every face in the room when they win, hooting and hollering in a harmonious chorus.

steve falls in love with eddie for all of those things but also for all of the things he possesses on his own. his charm and his wit, his need to make steve smile every waking moment. the way he knows when steve needs quiet and dark so he closes the blinds before wrapping him up in his steady arms.

eddie falls in love with steve for all of the things that seem new to him.

he's never had a guy treat him like steve does, never had soft smiles and cards on valentines day, never had date nights or kisses in the daytime or a hand that fits gently against his own. he doesn't feel like a dirty secret pushed away to closets and out of windows. he doesn't see the quick glances around to make sure no one's watching before he gets into steve's car like he's used to getting with old partners. he doesn't get shushed or ignored or heartbroken.

the one thing that i know i could never ever make for a variety of reasons is a little concept that i've been dancing around called "spectre city online"... hypothetically it'd be a virtual world game based around a ghost town inhabited by the players (who are halloween monsters), with a gameplay loop of going out tricking (fighting enemies, though i'm not fully sure what they'd be) and treating (collecting and trading various items). i might make like a bunch of concept art for it including characters and locations as a challenge for myself, but unless i somehow find a team of programmers and some million quid for server costs it'll never be real!

Gosh not to whine because there is so much that is good and so much that was/is necessary and there’s so much that is right on the cusp of blooming but … I am still grieving not living at home. And that’s exactly what it is that I miss, without wanting to undo this move or regretting it because I wouldn’t undo it and I don’t regret it. I don’t live there anymore. The deep patterns of life that were a part of the home when we did live there are gone, broken irrevocably even though there is nothing at all tragic about what has happened and even though the breaking was probably (is) a step forward. And I just have to let that exist and let it be and just be sad about it sometimes. And just look the grief in the face and let it sit at my kitchen table, metaphorically. Because it’s there and it hurts.

OK I'd imagine that, out of all the possible dream friends, the only one that would have some major beef with Magalor and Oakley would be Taranza.

Daroach (bc we always need more Daroach content in this fanbase)? Probably would just try steal Oakleys apples. Could he ask for some? Sure, but the challenge is half the Fun.

But Taranza, out of everyone, runs closest to Magalor. He lost a lover to an ancient artifact, so why does Magalor get to stay happy when he can't be with Sectonia. I imagine Taranza wouldn't exactly be happy with these thoughts, and would probably just shut himself away until they go away.

... or maybe, just maybe, he can find the shards of that damned mirror to bring her back. Afterall, if the Master Crown can become a new life, then what's to say the mirror can't become an old one...

What are the Fleetway freedom fighters reaction to super Scourge

Okay okay okay so. So. So. I have thoughts on Super Scourge and the circumstances required for him to go super. Like, he's never gone super with the chaos emeralds before, and even if he wanted to Sonic wouldn't let him bc the chaos emeralds in his dimension are kinda fucked and they don't need anyone else developing a destructive super form. So in order to go super Scourge would need to go back to Moebius to get some anarchy beryl, and he'd need quite the motivation to do that bc although he's used to hopping dimensions, he's not keen to go back to Moebius once he's settled in Sonic's dimension. Higher chance of getting caught by the cops or the suppression squad or Rosie, after all, so he doesn't deem it worth the trek, especially since he isn't sold on the idea of going super anymore now he knows it burns him out when he powers down. Sooooooo perhaps one of the only reasons he would retrieve anarchy beryl to go super was in a dire circumstance, likely the middle of a fight, when important things need to get done, so the freedom fighters are a lil busy dealing with whatever threat has popped up to have too much of an initial reaction. Maybe be a bit wary, but once they see Scourge is focused on what they need him to do they're like "okay well we don't need to worry about him just yet"

What comes to my mind is that the only super form they've ever experienced is Sonic's super form, which they don't know is not standard across the multiverse. So once the crisis they're dealing with winds down, I imagine they're tense and ready for a fight, because they just don't know any better. It may take them some convincing to realise Scourge is still himself and that his super form is nothing like Sonic's. Once they've accepted that, they'd bully the fuck out of him for the fact his fur turns purple, and then help him get back home to rest once he powers down and is exhausted. Sonic especially bullies him extra hard because he doesn't want Scourge to realise just how much he liked seeing him all powerful and badass

(Sonic is, perhaps, a little jealous. He knows how powerful super forms are, and he can't help but think of all the things he could do if he was able to be in control in his own super form like Scourge is. He tries not to linger on the what-ifs, but he can't help being a little bitter about it. Still, he turns down Scourge's offer to try anarchy beryl, because he doesn't know if he'll have the same reaction to anarchy energy as he does chaos energy, and it just isn't worth the risk. He already has to deal with Super, he doesn't want to risk creating another out of control super form)
