Being in multiple fandoms is so fucking funny when you look at the various takes between the fandoms. On one hand, I'm in the Wings of Fire fandom, which has so many people who genuinely think that an evil, genocidal dictator who abused just about everyone he met was actually merely misunderstood by fans or even the author. On the other hand, I'm in the My Little Pony fandom, where I'd get the sideeye for saying "hey maybe this 10 year-old who was only able to become a villain because no one was properly watching over her (seriously who allows their students to get letters from Tartarus supervillains who have already proven themselves to be manipulative shits???) shouldn't be turned to stone by the guy who got off scot-free despite orchestrating her crimes."
