A quick update on my Reyes Vidal pop vinyl!

His head arrived and i laid the base colours out on his outfit. I'm just waiting on his hand to arrive (finger gun!), then I'll get stuck into painting him properly!

I've also started work on a Harry Carlyle pop vinyl - I've sculpted his body and picked a head. I'll have to do a full repaint as his head is very very white at the moment, but the hairstyle looks good.

So, the other month, I found this video of these amazing custom pops, and well... I had to have one

So I found the maker and ordered my own customed Arnie

✨️And I've finally got my hands on him✨️

Hes absolutley amazing!!!

I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! LOOOK AT HIM!!!! HES SO WELL MADE, IM SPEECHLESSS.

He's now become my pride and joy. And just to make it that bit better, I'm meeting Chris Barrie this weekend at the Liverpool comic con! So this little guy is about to become a one of a kind and HES ALLLL MINEE

Since it's unlikely we'll be getting season 2 pop vinyls, I took matters into my own hands. The Grand Duke of Hell, Lord of the Flies, and actual little ray of sunshine, Beelzebub.

While not entirely accurate (straight coat instead of morning coat, no fishnet waistcoat) I'm still so pleased with how this came out!

Some wips and info, in case anyone wants to replicate!

Base: Head - Poet Anderson, Body - Ravona Renslayer. Flies for the hat were ordered from Walmart in a pack of 50 (yes I fully intend to glue/sew/yeet the unused flies on future projects).

Now if anyone could source me a "naked man with box" pop vinyl that'd be most helpful 🤣🤣🤣

Spent the weekend doing crafts and wandering the library and playing Stardew with Doom Them. Wild how those things kept me from being on my phone/tumblr and my mental health is so much better for it.

I hate that my phone is a double-edged sword. It keeps me connected to the people I love, but it's also so easy to get stuck doom scrolling tumblr.

Crafting is such a fun hobby, it's hands on creativity that really keeps me busy and away from screens -- unfortunately, I just don't have the space to do bigger projects more often. It brings me the same joy as writing, which I haven't had the brain capacity to do in a few months. I need more room in my house so I can have a designated crafting area again!
