Would Ambrose and Arden ever consider getting pets? If so, what kinds? Are they the type to get like exotic pets or just a cat/dog? I always figured that Ambrose was a dog person (for... Obvious reasons) but I can also see him being way more interested in something random like a ferret lol

soooo sorry to burst the bubble but ambrose is not a dog person. of course he loves arden and he's fine with werewolves but real actual dogs? no. someone asked this on stream the other week what pet ambrose would have and i stand by my answer of cat of bunny.

arden on the other hand i cannot see having pets. i think he'd assume he wouldn't like cats but then actually end up getting along very sweetly with ambrose's cat to the point that said cat seems to favour arden over amborse. hypothetically, as in canon idk if they have pets.

in a human au i could see arden having dogs, but as a werewolf i think he would find it strange with them being sort of similar to him but not.

i'm still so confused why there are so many people who dislike gwen. this is godot ace attorney all over again lmao

of course this isn't universal but imo a large chunk of the dislike for gwen for the second film specifically come from fans imposing their audience omnipotence (and thus recognition of how things are being tonally presented within the film = assurance that miles is heroic and right for rebelling against canon conformity even with the risk the cast believes it poses to his universe, and he will be able to sucessfully find another solution) upon gwen and just not. placing themselves within the shoes of the character and understanding these are not theoretical stakes to them.

they are not aware of the fact that character arcs exist and that they themselves are fictional and that narrative function of their story is to demonstrate why you shouldn't succumb to despair/how suffering didn't make you a good person or hero - pain is just pain. you chose to do good when faced with that. they dont KNOW thats what the story is about lmao.

IN ADDITION, there's also the element to me of fans not having sympathy for the specific difficulty gwen faced as a teenager struggling with the enormous emotional burden of those stakes and the fact she'd recently gone through the incredible emotional upheaval (not even touching the vulnerability of the housing situation) regarding her father? and to an extent for me that just becomes a matter of refusing to engage with difficulties gwen found herself in

i think also. everyone wants to believe they would be the person to simply do the narratively rewarded thing, that they would be miles. that they would risk an entire universe (to their knowledge) and simply know it would all turn out okay. it's uncomfortable to look at characters perpetuating harm out of understandable fear and despair and see where you yourself might have also done something similar, or that you can empathise with what has lead them to this breaking point (in the heightened theatrics of the story).

👆you’re real as HELL for this!!!!! Honestly I think there’s so much to be said re Dahlia and Matt both being characters who are treated by the narrative as having way more power than they actually do. Dahlia “manipulating her father” into abandoning Iris…Matt “causing” Celeste’s suicide…when in reality both of them are largely powerless, victims of exploitative societal systems and adults, and they act out violence and cruelty as a way of coping with that. Do they both believe they are all powerful master manipulators who are bad to the bone? Absolutely! Does that make it true? No!

Both of them are also twist villains based on the idea of manipulating Phoenix—and the audience—with their “innocent face.” Much to think about. As much as they both did very much commit murder, I think there’s a lot more to be gained from asking why narrative chooses to wholeheartedly condemn these people in particular than there is from making moral judgements (they committed murder because the narrative perspective is that they were evil and villainous and scary!) That being said Dahlia would listen to Matt talk for two minutes and put poison in his tea

I just wanted to say that I adore the way you put so much research & care into portraying mental illnesses/coping mechanisms and stuff like that, it makes me feel so warm inside when I hear something that I've experienced explained and cared for so succinctly. Like the Ambrose puppy comfort audio where he just... Accepts that the listener/Arden might be regressing or in a different headspace and he's so calm and sweet and respectful and aaaaaa it's so so so nice

Also with all your Moon Knight audios, those ones hit me in particular. I mean, I bawled my eyes out when I watched the show proper so I probably shouldn't have been so shocked to do the same with your audios, but by gosh did I cry like a baby when I first listened to that "we've got you" audio because wow. It's so realistic it made me feel so insanely warm. It's so easy to mess up representation of DID and with moon knight being one of the few medias that does it really well I'm so sensitive about it and it felt so good to have that validated. Steven dissociating or talking about switching or them switching in audios or being cocon is just so well done and it's obvious that you care about making people like me with DID and OSDD feel seen and it's working and I appreciate it so so so much. I know you've said that other people's audios have helped you feel seen in similar ways, so I guess I just wanna say thank you so so so much for doing that for other people as well 💖

season 2 of moon knight wheeennnnnn. :( but no i'm really glad people are okay with my portrayal of them, i've had requests sometimes that ask for certain things with them and i turn them down because i really want to do a good job at portraying them and their DID as accurately as i can. when i get requests to have marc and steven switching during nsfw audios i always turn them down, switching's not some fun thing, it's tiring and stressful and draining and doesn't feel appropriate to portray it as some sort of threesome when if eg steven and the listener are having sex and marc switches in... he'd have no idea where he was or what was happening and would not have had the ability to consent to the sex before he's suddenly in it, you know? i hope that makes sense. i try my best to do right with the representation as someone who doesn't have DID nor OSDD.

i think i'm in love with one of my members in my own gg dr but i don't really want to date her (because i don't like dating coworkers) i don't know what to DOOO

for context, i'm autistic, and i specifically really struggle with loud noises, so this one time when paparazzi were screaming at us she covered both of my ears with her hands (UNSCRIPTED) and the only reason i didnt kick my feet and giggle is because i was so surprised. she's one of those 'mean to everyone except like ten people' types so it's not like she does these kinds of things often and i just HURRRGHHHHH
