“Ren, you’re hurting me.”

Hux panics when Kylo doesn’t stop. The Knight is a heavy weight on top of him as he ploughs into him with every forceful thrust of his hips, keeping tight hold of Hux’s spread legs. Their sex isn’t usually gentle but it’s getting too much, too uncomfortable, too overwhelming. He’s lying on his back, fingers grasping the sheets. Kylo seems to be in a trance.

“R-Ren? Ah! S-stop.”

But Kylo’s hand weaves it’s way around his throat, giving a squeeze. Hux doesn’t have enough strength to fight back but he tries away, wriggling and thrashing beneath his supposed lover, using his hands to try to twist and claw at the tightening pressure around his throat.

“Kylo! Ackkk! Let go of me!”

But he doesn’t. He doesn’t stop. Hux shuts down just before he feels Kylo’s hips shudder to an aggressive stop. When he wakes, Kylo has him cuddled against his chest, nose buried in his hair. The gesture is meant to be loving, protective but Hux hates everything.

Including Kylo.

Shortaki Week 2023 - Day Two - Distance / Carnival / Routine

This was the moment I knew I was on a roll doing all three prompts since I almost immediately came up with an idea:

"What if Grandpa Phil's stories of Arnold's mom and dad being in the circus were actually true and there's an alternate universe out there where Arnold goes with them and becomes a tightrope walker? Like his parents were in his dream?" and "What if Helga sees him at a distance when she's in the audience one day [when he's performing in Hillwood] and that's how she gets her crush on him?"

Since it's easier for Helga to hide her crush on Arnold (him being in a traveling circus/carnival and whatnot), she's only really trying to hide it because she thinks it's a pipe dream. It's not like "the Astounding Volcano Boy born from the Green Eyes of San Lorenzo" had any time for silly crushes... Little does she know that he spots her in the crowd and fell in love with her.

They probably get to know each other after shows and write when he's on the road again. Y'know, this would make a good fanfiction...

Fealasse was an elleth born during the Noontide of Valinor, who came to Beleriand with Ñolofinwë’s host. She lived through the Ages of Arda, and met Éomer Éadig during the Battle of Hornburg, fighting alongside him in the dusk of the Third Age. They came together in mutual admiration and affection, surprising many due to the disinterest both had shown in the past in the union of marriage. When Éomer rode to war alongside Elessar, he entrusted the rule of the Riddermark to his Queen, Fealasse, who guarded the Rohirrim fiercely in his absence.

They were blessed with many children: Sunnwyn, Burnwyn, Dawyn, Trygve, Ethelfrith, Laywyn, Fastred, and Mildwyn. King Éomer insisted on naming all of his daughters with the suffix -wyn to honor the two women who had been the greatest of joys in his life: his sister, Éowyn, and his wife, Fealasse.

Eventually, though, all things must end. Éomer passed of old age, as was the way of Men, and Fealasse was left bereaved, for she had not the Choice given to Luthien and her descendants. Their eldest son, Trygve, took up his father’s seat. Shortly after ensuring a smooth transition, Fealasse departed Edoras. Although it is said that she kept in contact with her children and close friends, she never made another public appearance, and whither she now dwells, none can say.

Day 2 - Sunday 12/4/22 2:30AM

Writing this in the odd hours of the morning because I haven’t slept yet. Finally met Sean today. It was a nice night and he’s a very sweet guy. It really helped me to feel wanted again. Of course I thought about Elizar today, but it wasn’t as bad.

Note to self: this was the day we made the charcuterie for Hailey’s bday party.

Glad today wasn’t as bad, but that was because we were so busy today… and the hook up behavior in order to move on and heal isn’t healthy. But for now, that’s okay.

I got a slack message from him... why didn’t he just text me? He has my number and that’s more efficient for the project. The fact that he won’t text me is just a reality check. He really hates you. Stop clinging to him. Just let him go. Finish this project. Don’t send him the text. Just focus on school and disappear.
