You get swept away by the Deadlock Gang, outlaws and violent maniacs. Or are they? Cole Cassidy is your watchful guardian, but you wonder if he even feels anything as you spend countless nights together. Will he ever reach the breaking point?

Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was nice to have moments like this. Alone, resting at an inn for the night. It was the only inn you’d seen in days, traveling with the Deadlock Gang wasn’t for the weak. You wouldn’t consider yourself weak, but being abducted by a gang wasn’t in your plans for the month. Cole Cassidy, the young gun criminal, kept his eye close on you. You were technically his, in every sense of the way.
Not that you hated the concept of a new life, you were practically begging. With a boring life at home, it was easy to imagine a big adventure. This was your big adventure. You wouldn’t admit it, but it wasn’t a bad life. They weren’t the gang of hardened criminals the paper made them out to be. You weren’t bound, just monitored. You weren’t starved or dehydrated, you were treated like a human.
Which is what brought you to the inn. Instead of camping for the 5th time on low supplies, Ashe directed the gang to a nearby spot her old friend ran. Cole took responsibility for watching you, but you knew he’d much rather be drinking by the fire with the rest of the gang. He stayed in the wooden chair by the window in the room, chewing idly at a lit cigar. You’d gotten used to being in shared company, sharing a horse with the man had gotten you pretty close.
Being pressed up with your back to his front, bouncing rhythmically with each gallop. The smell of his cigars was familiar now from being so close against him. You might’ve been a little pent up from the repetitive motion, but that didn’t matter. Cassidy hadn’t said much since you’d made it to the hotel. It was…a little awkward. With a free hand, he played at the brim of his hat that rested in his lap, letting his brown hair lay soft around his face. The radio in the room broadcasted a radio show with the occasional news break. It was easy to forget he was an outlaw in moments like this.
You let out a sigh, breaking the silence between the two of you. It was loud enough for him to make a comment. “Bored?” His deep voice inquired. “I guess.” You laid back onto the bed with another sigh. Your legs hung off the side of the bed, swaying slowly with your boredom. “It’s not like you’re being forced to say.” Cole replied, “You’re the one that asked me to bring you along.” It caused a small twinge in your head. He was annoying. His tone was slightly bitter, but you weren’t sure what was up his ass.
“I know.” You hissed, shooting back up. “No one is asking you to sit in here, I’m not going anywhere.” Matching his frustrated tone, just to watch his expression shift. “Y’know, I’m not askin’ for your damn attitude either. Y’don’t see me crying!” Cole took the cigar from his mouth, resting it between his pointer and middle finger. “In fact, I didn’t ask for you to ride with me either.” He muttered, but you understood. Then, as if to distract you from the first part, threatened. “Maybe I should just pull someone else in to deal with your crazy ass.” Yet a smile had already formed on your face, realizing what was wrong with Cole Cassidy.
Your fists clenched around the fabric of the quilt laid on the bed. Leaning forward just slightly, you figured you would try something. “What was wrong with riding with me?” Asking that made him tense up. The brim of his hat became clenched in a fist. The hat rested higher in his lap now, holding it tight to hide his tightening pants. “Do you really not want to deal with me anymore?” Standing up, you stood in front of him, as if showing off in your thin sleepwear. “Now..I-I didn’t say that.” He cleared his throat, avoiding your stare and placing the cigar back between his lips.
Stepping closer, you now stood with your knees almost touching the chair he sat on. Standing between his open knees, he now couldn’t look anywhere else. Now, he looked right at you. Hooded eyes, he needed something that he wouldn’t admit to. “Are you okay, Cassidy?” Sharply, he inhaled as you moved away his hat, placing it right on your head. “Couldn’t big bad Cole Cassidy say he wanted to fuck me?” You smile, teasing him as his face flushes with a deep blush. You slowly crawl onto his lap, legs falling on the side of his own.
“Ohh, darlin’....please..” Cassidy begs under your grasp. Thighs placed on either side of his legs, straddling him while putting pressure in the center of his groin. You adjust, grinding up on his coarse jeans. “Please what?” You ask with an innocent tone, keeping quiet for no reason at all. Cole squirmed, looking down between the two of your bodies. Grinding up onto his lap, the thin fabric of your pajamas didn’t leave much to the imagination of what’s beneath his jeans. You let a hand hold onto his shoulder, the other closed the lace curtains behind Cassidy.
Now his hands gripped onto you, guiding you…using you. His right hand held onto your waist, his left onto your thigh. You let out quiet moans, sensitively twitching each lap you’d make on his hard cock pressed on your crotch. The only reaction he’d given was a furrowed brow while pulling you harder onto his dick. He groaned, laying his head onto the center of your chest. “Gh- Please, don’t stop.” Cole pleaded, his teeth gritted onto the cigar that still sat between his lips.
As if you could stop, with the combined desperation from you and Cassidy’s grasp on you, but it just wasn’t an option. Your speed quickened the longer you went on, teasing at him through the same dusty jeans you’d been grinding against for days now. Cole wouldn’t announce it, but you knew he was close when he started bucking his hips up against you. Startling you, but it’s not as if it was unwelcome. You now held on tighter to keep up with the ride, arousal was intoxicating the two of you, you needed this probably just as much as Cole did. Choking on your name, he repeated it like gospel. As if you were just to be used by his own pleasure, his hands now moved to your ass. Giving him more control with your motion in his firm grasp.
Combining his forceful moving of your ass against his now throbbing dick, and bucking his hips up; Cassidy’s only thought was finishing you off. Your chest rose and fell quickly against his face that he buried against you, hiding from your teasing smile. Watching him melt under you just grinding against him, watching Cole Cassidy lose himself without even taking his pants off. He moaned out your name in a strained tone, the cigar dropping as he let his guard down.
His tension melted away under you, fully relaxing while you still sat on his lap. Panting, but not fully satisfied. His head laid back, neck balancing on the back of the table chair. Eyes closed for just a second before cracking one open to look at you. Still looking, hoping he wasn’t done. A sly grin finally cracked on his face, “Look who’s beggin’ now.” He chuckled, grabbing back onto your ass and standing up. Lifting you in his arms, he kissed your quivering lips. Carrying you closer to the bed, and mentally preparing for a long night.

WIP for a stupid lil au/design idea since we barely get to see Wuxia stuff for the lunar new year and the whole old west concept is pretty much just that in a mirror 😌 Here's Ashe (上官嵐) as the leader 霜心白劍 of 囚龍堂!

Ashe: I better not see your face in my neck of the woods.
Ramattra: Are you afraid I’ll free your servant?
Ashe: Lay one finger on Bob and I’ll show you what fear means.
so… that’s definitely a threat from both of them, and i love it. obviously ramattra is clueless to the happenings outside of his own opinions, as @wildissylupus said he doesn’t understand why any omnic would choose to be around humans. ashe and bob have a familial relationship, it’s a strong bond too. he’s the only one who’s stayed consistent throughout her whole life
also, we’ve seen ashe be threatened with the loss of bob before, in deadlock rebels when julian bets him on a bike race. she may be acting agressive through her speech, but we’ve seen the panic it put her through the first time
now, this makes me wonder if this is how they’ll bring ashe into the main story. i saw someone else on tiktok theorize if bob will be taken and ashe will go to cassidy or overwatch to help. my addition to that is it might not just be bob, but the other omnics (like bars) in deadlock rebels. obviously bob is her closest companion, but everyone else in the gang matters too.
if she doesn’t go directly to overwatch, then they might come to her seeing as i imagine the whole gang would fight against null sector if something happened to any member
there’s also the conversation in the current story missions about how the current team, a sort of “you and what army” moment… what about that army? deadlock is presumably pretty large, and they’re also allied with local gangs so i think it would be a good way to bring ashe and the rest of deadlock into the story, because right now they have no connection other than being part of cole’s past
this could also kickstart the beginning of a reconciliation between cassidy & ashe, starting off with “I’m only helping because my friends are in trouble.” and if they’re saved then she’ll decide to stay and help until the entire issue is over with null sector.

Ashe x male gunslinger s/o
Tumblr media
Ashe first met s/o when she and the rest of the Deadlock Gang began hearing rumors of some mysterious gunman causing trouble all across the southern states.
Intrigued by this fellow outlaw, Ashe began searching for s/o in the prospect of having him join up with her gang.
Word traveled quickly as s/o caught wind that the infamous Deadlock Gang is looking for him, much to his amusement.
“Interestin’. Well then…”
He grabs his weapons and twirls them around before putting them in their holster.
“If they’re lookin’ for me, it’d be mighty rude of me to ignore ’em.”
He says with a grin before saddling up and heading off on his trusty horse.
Later on after a successful heist, Ashe finally comes face to face with s/o, who cautiously has his hand near his revolver in case things go south.
“Howdy there ma’am, I take it you’re the leader of the Deadlock Gang? The name’s s/o, I heard it through the grapevine that you were searchin’ for me?”
Ashe is immediately taken with s/o due to his smooth southern drawl and charm, not to mention his incredible good looks.
Trying to maintain her composure and hide her blush, she explains that she wants to offer s/o a place in her gang.
S/o hesitantly pulls his hand away from his gun and thinks for a moment.
After taking Ashe’s offer into consideration, he turns to her with a smile.
“Alright. I reckon joinin’ up with y’all sure as hell beats being all on my lonesome. You got yourself a deal darlin’, s/o is at your service!”
He says as he tips his hat to her, making her chuckle and blush faintly.
“Excellent, you made the right choice. Welcome to the family s/o.”
As months pass since s/o joined up, Ashe’s attraction to him grew stronger and stronger, eventually leading her to fall in love with him.
Eventually, Ashe decided to confess her feelings to s/o and called him to her quarters to discuss something privately.
“Hey boss, is there somethin’ you needed from me?”
“Yes s/o, please take a seat. There’s something I need to tell you.”
Ashe proceeds to take a swig of bourbon before staring directly into s/o’s eyes.
“I’m not going to beat around the bush, I’m in love with you s/o. I was attracted to you ever since we first met, and my feelings for you continued to deepen since you first joined up with us. If you don’t feel the same way that’s ok, you’re a valuable member of this gang and nothing short of betrayal will ever change that.”
Ashe looks at s/o in anticipation of his response as he processes everything he was just told.
“W-wow boss, I certainly wasn’t expectin’ no love confession when you called me in here. I’m gonna be honest with you boss, I feel the exact same way. I’ve had a crush on you for the longest time, but I never spoke up because…y’know…you’re the boss and I didn’t wanna make things weird. What I’m tryin’ to say is that I love you too boss, I mean…Ashe.”
She blushes slightly before a seductive smirk forms on her face as she pulls s/o into a passionate make out session.
After that, Ashe and s/o spend the night together, officially announcing their relationship to the rest of the gang in the morning.
As a couple, Ashe and s/o work well together during heists and always have the other’s back.
Despite s/o being a really skilled fighter and gunslinger, Ashe is still protective over him and if he were ever to get injured, no mercy will be shown to whoever hurt her boyfriend.
Likewise, anyone foolish enough to try and make an attempt at taking Ashe down, whether it be a rival gang or an Overwatch agent wanting to take her into custody, will quickly be dealt with by s/o’s pinpoint accurate shots.
Ashe also has a huge soft spot for s/o’s horse, always helping him with feeding and washing him/her when they have free time, leading to her and the horse forming a close bond.
Dates often include spending alone time and drinking together in Ashe’s quarters after successful heists, as she and s/o can’t really go out for dates due to being wanted criminals.
On their second anniversary of becoming a couple, s/o suddenly gets down on one knee in front of the entire gang as B.O.B. hands him a tiny ring box, causing Ashe to gasp in surprise.
“S/o! W-what are you…”
He cuts her off by opening the box, revealing a very beautiful looking ring.
“I’ve been savin’ up for a long time to get this here ring, and I feel that now’s the perfect moment to do what I’ve been preparin’ for. I love you Ashe, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you darlin’. With all that said, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?”
Tears form in Ashe’s eyes as she nods rapidly.
“I love you so much s/o, of course I’ll marry you!”
She kisses him deeply as their fellow gang members clap and cheer for the two.
Ashe puts the ring on her finger and looks at it with a warm smile, happily reminiscing about the day her gunslinger s/o came into her life.

the path to destiny | prequel to 10 minutes: part one - a blackwatch!gabriel reyes x gn!reader
Tumblr media
rating: teen - for violence & swearing.
a/n: this is the prequel to 10 minutes, i suggest reading that first (: there’s mentions of reyes, but he’ll come along in the next part.
a/n again: the gif above is only a visualization of readers powers, not the woman (irelia).
you felt the crisp air whoosh against your face, not too chilly but not too humid; a perfect balance. this trip would be more than pleasant if the 20lb duffel bag of your belongings were carried by somebody else, but you make do.
blackwatch, a covert operations secret division inside of overwatch. taking care of operations under the radar of the public, and even the private. the moment you were offered a part of this experience was riveting, yet anxiety inducing. could you really hold your own here? how would the people be? are your gifts enough for this team?
-
the late tekhartha mondatta was as wise as a serpent, yet gentle as a dove. his teachings and mindset brought humans and omnics to be like minded towards each other. he was the definition of pure harmony, no discord in his soul. mondatta and his brother zenyatta’s teachings led many omnics to a path of enlightenment, but never a human before. not until you.
10 years, 7 months, and 14 days. it took you 10 years, 7 months, and 14 days until you found a hidden peace within yourself. unlocking that enlightenment felt impossible, yet you proved even yourself wrong. this enlightenment…was different. it wasn’t like you had discovered it, it was as if that energy was in you all along, only needing to be unlocked. the energy, unfortunately, took a large toll on your body. instead of slowly draining your lifespan with this energy, you learned to channel that energy into 5 carbon steel blades. the blades bent at your will. they surrounded your upper body, leaving silver colored lines running up your arms all the way into your eyes as you used that energy.
“well done my child.” stated mondatta as he watched closely. “you have achieved a level of enlightenment that me and my brother have achieved. you are the first of your kind to do so.”
“we are quite proud.” zenyatta praised. you gave a humble smile in return. you loved the temple, you loved the shambali, you loved the monks that raised you as if you were their own offspring, yet you felt…something missing. partially full, partially empty. with these thoughts, you consulted mondatta, in hope for an answer.
“if you do not change direction, you may end up where you are headed. your destiny awaits you, whether you stay here or not. whether it be filled with harmony or discord.” he replied.
“but how will i know if what will be my destiny if i stay? if i leave?” you inquired.
“you have to make that choice yourself.”
a silence fills the air.
“do you know what you must do?” mondatta solemnly questioned.
“yeah, i think i do. thank you mondatta. and thank you zenyatta.”
“you are welcome, my child. now, find your destiny.” zenyatta stated.
one year later
adapting to everyday life hadn’t been as challenging as you believed it to be. yes, it was difficult masking your gifts in public, but you had your ways. “your ways” was placing your carbon steel blades in a fabric bag. not the best hiding spot, but convenient enough for you.
each week, you made a mandatory pit stop at the local grocery store to restock on supplies. food, medicine, and other supplies needed. the virtual cashier, xela gave you a sweet smile as she scanned your items. “that’ll be $54.38 today!” she said. whipping out your wallet, you rummage through, only to find $10 dollars in cash.
“shit. i’m so sorry, let me run outside real quick.” you apologize and run out the door. you shake out your wallet, hoping money will come out. no money comes out. you walk back in slouched over in disappointment. “i’m so sorry xela i can’t pa-,”
“your stuff has already been paid for, have a nice day!”
“what?”
“you seemed like you needed a lil’ help.” a tanned, scruffy looking cowboy says as he hands you the bag of groceries. “thank you so much, but i don’t even know your name.” you say, still in shock and disbelief that this man paid for your groceries.
“the names cole cassidy, yours?” he asks, motioning for you to follow. he gives a quick nod as you tell him your name. “why did you do that?” you question. “you seemed like you needed it, rough week?”
“yeah a little bit. how could you tell?” you sigh.
cassidy whips out a cigar, “your face tells me er’thing i need to know. it’s the least i could do.” he replies, lighting the cigar.
as you were about to thank him once again, you are interrupted by an ear blasting rev of an engine. you and cassidy turn towards the sound. two headlights appear in the smog, burning your eyes as you look at it.
“well well, i’ve been waiting for this cassidy.” a feminine voice quips. her southern accent adds a hint of venom to the statement. the second rev of the woman’s engine inches closer.
“damn it, GET DOWN.” cassidy yells, as he whips out..a revolver?
you grab cassidy’s arm and pull him into a large alleyway, hiding behind an empty dumpster. there’s an intersection in the alleyway, splitting off into 4 different ways to go. only one way is blocked off by this angry woman. shots rang around you, ricocheting all over the place.
“you are definitely not a cowboy.”
“what makes you think that?”
“do cowboys get into shootouts with crazy women?”
“this one does.” he replies with a large grin. you roll your eyes at the comment. “so,” you yell over the gunfire, “who is she?”
“elizabeth caledonia ashe, but the gang calls her ashe.”
“wait a second.” you pause, “THE DEADLOCK GANG??”
cassidy fires a round of bullets into the smog, none seem to hit. “what are ya, a fan?” he chuckles.
“no i’m just not dense. i thought y’all got arrested, right?” you asked. “we did, 6 months ago, but i had other plans.” he sighed.
“and what about the rest of them? did they have the same plan?” you questioned, confused on how they all escaped.
“..not exactly.” he huffed. “i was given an opportunity, and i ran with it. beats sittin’ in a prison for god knows how long.”
you both were interrupted by an object thrown through the smog. it landed right by your feet. it’s bold red color made it quite clear you both needed to run.
“cmon cowboy.” you urge cassidy up. “this way,” he says, pointing to the right of the alleyway. as you both run from the stick of dynamite, you are met with a shotgun infront of your bodies. “FREEZE.” the gang member barks. “I’LL SHOOT.” another member taunts from behind. a booming explosion shakes the ground underneath, causing cassidy to lose his balance. the man with the shotgun aims his shot on cassidy, completely ignoring you.
time slowed around you, you needed to make a decision fast. could i use them? would that be wrong? it’s self defense, no?
without thinking, your blades surround you as you lunge them foward. the honed blade slices through the incoming bullet, splitting it into 2. the bullet pieces falls to the ground. cassidy stares at your form, the glowing silver coursing through your arms, your irises even glowing a silver like color. the gang member looks at you with disbelief, but before he could even reload, his face was met with cassidy’s fist.
“nice hit, took ya long enough.” you joked.
“awh shut it pumpkin.” cassidy quipped, his baffled expression turned into a sheepish grin. your little banter moment was interrupted by something else thrown at you. you can’t tell what it was, but whatever it was, it wrapped around you and cassidy. a rope of some sort perhaps. two more gang members enter the alleyway, one infront of cassidy, one infront of you. the blades that surrounded you dropped. you struggled against the rope, but it was wrapped around you tight. the female gangster stepped on your fallen blades, losing your control of the sacred item. as the gang members inched closer, cassidy leaned down to your ear.
“link your arms with mine.” he whispers, his cold breath tickling the outside of your ear.
“your breath smells like whiskey. back up.”
“i didn’t ask your opinion, link ‘em now!”
you intertwine your arms with cassidy’s, confused as to what the hell he is planning.
“on three, kick ‘em to hell.”
“i was plannin on it cass.”
you chant together.
“one”
“two”
“three!”
cassidy crouches slightly over, your back flat on top of his. your body hoists into the air as you lunge your legs foward. a direct hit to the gang members chest infront of you. she collapses to the ground, rendered useless. regaining control of the blades, you cut the rope chaining you and the cowboy together. cassidy pulls his peacekeeper out of his leather holster. a perfect, deadeye shot pierced the gang member. you and cassidy huff a sigh of relief, catching your breath.
“didn’t think you could fight like that.” he says as you walk around the dead bodies, exiting the alleyway. no ashe in view, she must have dipped.
“there’s a lot of things you don’t know cowboy.” you retort, flicking the brim of the cowboys hat.
“you got an attitude jus’ like reyes, that dickhead.” cassidy chuckles, pulling out his lighter and cigar. again.
“who’s reyes? i’d definitely kick his ass.” you retort, a grin forming on your face.
“he’s…my boss basically. he’s all mean ‘n stuff but i betcha he’s ‘n old softie.” cassidy exhales, a puff of smoke filling the space between you two. you crinkle your nose in disgust of the cigarette smell. the two of you chuckle.
“ya ever heard of overwatch?” he asks, breaking the short silence.
“of course i have, they’re like ‘earths mightiest heroes’,”you air quote, internally laughing at your old movie reference, “why do you ask?”
“well, overwatch ain’t all the glitz and glamour the news makes it seem. they do A LOT behind the scene, out of the eyes of the media.” cassidy recollects, “but even there’s a behind the scenes in overwatch. like a..uh..overwatch’s dirty work you could call it. how do ya think overwatch gets all their intel, yet wantin’ to stay under the radar at the same time? they gotta secret group. this group, blackwatch, does everything overwatch won’t, but with no spotlight recognition or anythin’, it’s quite the life of you really think ‘bout it.”
“huh..i never realized overwatch had so many layers.”
“there’s some good, some less good. but i’m thankful e’rday that reyes saved my ass. either i joined his lil’ club, or i rot with ashe and her robot butler, bob in prison. trust me, you don’t wanna share a small cell with an 8ft tall robot.” cassidy states. you snicker at the comment. “it’s hell i tell ya!” cassidy yells.
“so, what’s it like in blackwatch? is it just you and reyes?” you question, curiosity taking over your mouth.
“nah, reyes is recruiting some kid, he’s missin’ a lot of his body, poor guy. apparently he can fight, but i’m not one to judge that.” cassidy solemnly replies. he stares off into the night sky, strumming his fingers against his clothed knee.
“i don’t think i’m ‘posed to do this but..”
he inhales sharply, rolling his shoulders back and licking his partially chapped lips before opening his mouth.
“you wanna join blackwatch?”

tidbit of my most recent writing
aka creative block delayed my writing development for like 2 years & this this includes my silly little ocs
Tumblr media
Brighter than Diamonds
Inside Cher O’Reilly’s restaurant, various ranks of the Deadlock Gang piled in. She had shooed out all the customers and employees within half an hour due to their last-minute call before arrival. Her mint green hair tied-up by a color clashing red bandana was easily spotted by a specific member, Sunni Allen, sister of Brandy Allen. Sunni was the one who called to inform her, as the gang’s leader caught word of a place perfect for a heist—Cher’s fancy word for a thoroughly-planned robbery.
Sunni made her way to the bar, located on the opposite side of the entrance, many of the men nodding to her in respect. She paid no mind because once she reached Cher’s side, she wrapped an arm around her shoulders to give her a short hug. She expressed worry for having their team come on such short notice and, as always, receive her 5% after the heist occurs. Cher waves her off, “Used to it. Miss Ashe always tips me good.” Their conversation continued behind the bar as Cher worked to serve alcohol from the tap to all the seeming drunks under her roof, her girlfriend helping with ease.
The chatter and clinking of beer steins amongst feeble gang members came to a stop as a whistle howled through the air. All eyes in the room were drawn to the front doors. A tall man with sun-kissed skin and a cigar in left hand stood before Ashe, B.O.B., and Brandy.
“The floor is yours.”
“Thanks, Cole.” Ashe parted from the three by her side and walked toward the center of the room. Over the course of about three hours, she explained the task at hand to which she assigned roles and teams to those she believed were most fitting. They would be conducting a 3-day heist at a hotel and casino hosting a jewelry showcase and auctioning in Tunica, Mississippi. The hosts only accept cash for payment, as it is easier to verify if the money customers will use for purchases was laundered or stolen. With the Allen Sisters’s unforeseen involvement with the Deadlock Gang, they would bring the attention to themselves in the casino so their plan goes over smoothly. Ray Letterman and his company based in Virginia have a multi-step process to safely set up and transport their valuables across states because of high organized crime in southern America. Fortunately, the crime rate in Mississippi is low which allows Letterman’s Luxuries to ease up on spending and security for their event, but it will be more difficult for the gang to get away with. Essentially, they will attempt to jack the prices as high as they can before a bidder goes for the bait. They will be going for the money instead of the jewels—no one wants to buy stolen jewels.
They will make millions in less than a few days, but the gang’s excitement had to wait. The event was in two weeks. They still had to travel to Tunica. They needed to get in touch with their contacts in Mississippi. There was still work to be done, but the first thing to do was to round up the team to start packing.
