🎀Vector Childhood Headcanons🎀

He should have been diagnosed with Autism as a child 😔

He'd be the type of kid to wake up at 7 AM to watch his favorite cartoons. He'd know the time of each cartoon he liked and he'd prepare for episode airings.

He'd creep downstairs so he doesn't wake his dad. 😭😭😭

He liked Bubble Guppies, Spongebob, Fish-Hooks - Any sea life cartoon. He still likes them as an adult. (Secretly) - As an adult he probably complains about newer seasons of Spongebob but he watches them anyways.

His vision is really bad, he can't see at all without his glasses. When he was a kid he used to trip constantly over stuff constantly until he got his bifocals. He tried to wear contacts when he was a kid but he was scared and grossed out to the point he swore to never use them, all because someone told him once that it would get lost in his eye at school.

He definitely had braces as a kid (we were robbed of him with braces so let me wish 😔) He'd be the type of kid to lick and suck at the braces to get the spit out 😭 He would have had a lisp, people probably laughed at him.

He had a shark toy (as shown in the picture on his dads office table) when he was younger, so I feel like he'd take it everywhere. He probably brought the shark toy with him to school, and held it at recess and stuff.

When he was a kid, and he went to the beach with his dad, he'd usually collect shells and cool stuff he'd find out on the beach sand and shore. His dad would complain about him getting sand all over their vehicle and the house when he wanted to take them home but he'd refuse not to take them. He probably collected shells, shark teeth and little Coquinas and stuff.

He collects a bunch of shells and accidentally kills a bunch of sand fleas and stuff and then he CRIED so hard that he threw up😔.

I feel like his dad would make him a seafood dinner, and he eats it, and then when he found out it was sea food, he CRIED so hard that he threw up. 😭 When he was little he liked calamari but when his dad told him he got so sick. 😔

He would get into Nuh Uh - Yuh Huh arguements at school (He still does this to this day as an adult) - He'd correct people on grammar, facts, everything😭

"Actually,, it's saturn that's known for its rings, not Jupiter." then he gets into a nuh uh yuh huh argument.

The teacher would have to break up the argument because Vector as a kid would have been stubborn (He is still stubborn but it was way worse as a kid😭)

He would beg and cry for his dad to take him to the aquarium every birthday. The same exact Birthday gift. His dad would be like "We've been there for the past five years in a row" and Vectors on his knees like "PLEASSsEEEE!!! WE NEED TO GO!!" His dad won't say no bc it's his birthday gift.

As a kid his staple color was still Orange, but he often wore blue as well, as well as sea life shirts and clothes. He probably had shark PJs as a little kid. But as he got older he realized that Orange was a good branding color (and his favorite color😒) so he went all out with it.

I feel like late at night on a weekend he was watching a movie with his dad,and when he woke it auto played a deep sea documentary, he was about to turn it off but he was mesmerized by it and so slowly his interest in sea life just sky rocketed from there. Like he had a small interest in it already but it was a total accidental exposure and it became an entire personality trait. He probably had a pet gold fish as a kid. When his fish died his dad lied about it and got another fish until he couldn't keep lying anymore because Vector eventually found one dead😭

It was a traumatic experience for him.

I feel like as a kid his dad carried him a lot on his shoulders based on the picture in his office. Imagining his dad picking him up and carrying him around when Vectors too tired of walking his little feet🥺🥺🥺 Like at an amusement park or beach.

I feel like his dad tried to convince him that a fish wouldn't love him back and that he couldn't take it for walks or teach it tricks or anything but Vector was stubborn and only wanted marine pets.

When he was little, and he found out how hostile Dolphins can be, he felt as though his cartoons and movies lied to him. Ever since he's been an avid Dolphin actions spokesman, talking about how awful Dolphins can be.

I’m feel like I hit rock bottom if I am seriously thinking about making a Despicable Me/Minions AU so I feel like defending myself before delving to deep into this and confusing people.

I personally can’t stand the minions. They are so annoying and I feel as if they are only used for terrible Facebook memes and fart jokes. The one thing I like about the Despicable Me and Minions movies are their villains. They are either 1. A really cool concept wasted on a minions movie or 2. a character that is so incredibly memeable but only because they are from the minions movie.

A very dumbed down version of the AU is this: Villains are all in prison and somewhat bond with each other over their shared hatred of Gru. AVL decides to send in agent lady to attempt to reform the villains through therapy (that doesn’t really work). Meanwhile AVL is dealing with new super strong villain. Agent Lady not only has a soft spot for villains, but is actually the super strong villain in disguise. Bla bla shenanigans ensue

Character info time woo:

Vector

He’s still stuck in space

Through various objects he found in space, he was able to build a computer strong enough to send text based messages back to earth. Unfortunately for him, the texts ended up going straight to the AVL, where a robot was created for him to speak through.

Vector cares less about the fact that his messages are only being shown to the AVL and more about the fact they deliberately choose to save him from space.

El Macho

After being knocked out by Dr Nefario and the Minions, El Macho was taken in by the AVL

Instead of reversing the effects of the PX-41, the AVL just gave him a custom prison uniform

El Macho has made peace with his situation, not feeling much anger towards the others around him. The two thing that have upset him are the facts the AVL 1. Won’t change him back to his human form and 2. Won’t tell him where his son is and how he’s doing.

Balthazar Bratt

After being left to hang in the air stuck in his own bubblegum, AVL helicopter’s captured Bratt and arrested him

The most the AVL did for Bratt was give him clothes, but after that they refused to accommodate for him in any way.

Bratt is extremely unhappy and is constantly trying to escape through any means necessary, which includes ripping up his own clothes (which is why his sleeves are torn). He’s also not feeling well physically because of the poor quality of the prison food.

Despite desperately wanting to escape, the one thing Bratt really wants to know is what happened to Clive.

Scarlet and Herb Overkill

Several years ago, after being frozen by Gru, the AVL arrested the couple.

Scarlet is borderline feral. She feels as if she’s entitled to royal treatment for being the first female villain. Most people show her minimal respect while otherwise being annoyed by her.

Herb on the other hand is similar to El Macho. He’s had several years to relax and except his life. He still loves Scarlet a lot, but treats everyone around him with respect unlike her. In turn, people like Herb

Vicious… 4

Several years ago, after being turned into rats by the zodiac, the Vicious 6 were captured and arrested.

The AVL never captured Wild Knuckles after he faked his death, and he was never tracked again. Since Nun-Chucks was on the older side, she ended up passing away in prison.

The remaining members are incredibly annoyed by their situation. After all these years, the AVL deliberately chose to not turn them back into humans, with the excuse being that they can only be changed back during the New Years. Belle has managed to use this to her advantage, sneaking around the prison, though she’d still rather be human.

Relationship Chart:

Everyone is either chill or has no opinion on El Macho and vice versa

Vector tries to be friendly with most people, but particularly hangs with El Macho

Bratt and Belle get along well, with both of them trying to escape aswell as both of them having interests in particular Eras (Bratt being 80s themed and Belle being 70s themed)

Bratt is extremely annoyed by Vector in general. Vector doesn’t have to strong of an opinion on Bratt, mainly thinking he’s just weird.

Belle is convinced Vector has not interacted with a woman in his entire life.

No one hates Herb.

Scarlet views everyone except Herb as inferior to her.

Fun fact, Zach’s still my love, but Arthur Fleck has a strong hold on me right now…I’ve watched Joker three times this past week. After reeling from trauma caused by the former irl crush, I’ve gravitated toward Arthur again.

Hi, I'm incredibly tired, but I have a Despicable Me AU thing that's been plaguing my mind and I desperately need to write it out.

To any of my mutuals that couldn't care less about DM, sorry in advance-

So basically the AU goes that in the AVL prison or wherever they keep the villains a riot broke out that involved a lot of gadgets being stolen. Bla bla this part isn't important, but basically one of the gadgets can de-age people, and coincidentally all of the villains that Gru had to deal with in the Despicable Me and Minions movies all fall victim to it.

So now Gru is stuck dealing with all these child variants of people who have literally tried to kill him and his family. The icing on top is that none of them have any memory of what they did as adults.

Vector's stuck as the youngest, younger than Agnes even (I'm pretty sure she's 5?? He'd be 3-4).

Scarlet, Herb, and the Vicious 6 (minus Nun-Chucks since she's realistically dead before the incident even happened) are all between the ages of 5-8.

El Macho and Bratt are the oldest. El Macho is 11 while Bratt is 14.

Probably the most interesting part of this is that the Girls and all the villains are... getting along. Agnes entertains all the really young villains, Edith and the villains her age all wreak havoc, while the strangest friendship is with Bratt and Margo, who are able to have a chill conversation as the oldest.
