Like I get it I was born and raised in Southern California I spent a lot of time at Disneyland before the whole “Disney Adult” thing was a thing, but at our big age of early to mid thirties with 2 children one of which one you popped out less than a week ago going to the park is absolutely unhinged to me

Speaking as an annual passholder, this is exactly why you never ride a new ride on opening day/opening weekend. Even before virtual queues and lightning lanes, the wait times are always long and good luck getting on the ride in the same day without breaking down. Because it WILL break down. ALL DAY. CONTINUOUSLY.

Which Theme Park Annual Pass is ACTUALLY worth it?
If you like theme parks, annual passes are the best deal if you plan to visit more than once. With unlimited visits and discounts on food and merchandise, they seem like a steal but the raising ticket prices lately have some theme park enthusiasts questioning whether they are still actually a deal or not. Disney Parks in the U.S.
A YouTube influencer who owns the channel titled “Theme Park Obsession” discussed his recent experiences in purchasing an Annual Pass for the Disneyland Resort.  During his monologue, he also discussed the differences between Disney Parks’ two resorts - Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort - and the Disney suits’ unwise efforts to ensure both are the same, starting at 2:22:

happy april fools day folks! wolf pack visits disneyland
inspired by this post :)
Disneyland is probably Eiffel’s ideal habitat. Pop culture, junk food, roller coasters, etc
Hera could talk for hours with the park animatronics
Minkowski seems like the kind of person to have an annual pass
Lovelace loves big fast roller coasters but the rocket ship ride has a special place in her heart <3
The only ride that Kepler likes is Space Mountain. You ever ride Space Mountain? Big roller coaster!
Maxwell (ipad kid) and Jacobi (has games on his phone) VS Kepler (has several long stories queued up)
Hilbert refuses to participate in anything fun, so he ends up carrying everyone’s stuff
Cutter convinces Pryce that the best way to see the park is through the eyes of a mascot costume. Rachel is their chaperone.

What does this woman SAY jesus
it's literally so fucking funny like it's exactly a childhood bullying thing. like she acts like i'm invisible, refuses to turn and look at me when i talk, refuses to make eye contact, talks shit about me to every single soul that will listen, whispers to people while looking at me (every day), glares at me across the room, offers everyone food except me, makes other people come talk to me when she needs to communicate with me, bumps into me when walking by me in the halls and doesn't say anything, and constantly looks so closely at my work to see if there's something she can get me in trouble for. there's a lot more but that's the things i can think of rn it's so stupid like she is 30 yrs old and has annual passes to disneyland like why you beefing with a 24 yr old get your money up you still live in your parents in law unit but say you live on your own.

It’s fucking happening everyone. I’m going to Korea and Japan by myself 😱
Tumblr media
I figured I’m 30 let’s finish my bucket list. I didn’t expect to lose my job a week after I made unrefundable Tokyo Disneyland hotel tickets. But it’s happening!!! I don’t know what to do with my life afterwards. What else is there that is obtainable for me? I have no idea. I never would have thought when I left my abusive relationship 10 years ago I would be going to Japan one day. In the event that made me leave was he was holding onto my arms telling me I’d never be able to live on my own or go to Disney World by myself because of my mental health that I should be happier with him in the woods working part time.
Been living by myself forever and now I’m going to Korea and Japan by myself fucking suck it. I’m still shit scared I didn’t plan anything really. But I’m going.
Bucket list:
✅move to Disney World
✅have a Disney and Universal annual pass
✅go to live like Harry Potter (England and Scotland)
✅see bts in concert without panic attack
✅go to Disneyland California
✅go to Korea
(Pending)go to Japan
Where do I go from here? Hopefully getting a job. Then? The moon? Anyways don’t let anyone including yourself hold you back.

Waiting in line for the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. Harrison was moving his head, so he looks a little wonky!
Tumblr media
Hi there. New to Tumbler. New to DA too. These pictures of me with my service dog Harrison, were taken tonight at Disneyland, where we go often with my annual pass to get out of the house and have something to do. I am a writer of many years, and greatly to cope with disability, but I love all forms of education, literature, creative writing, poetry, psychology and other forms of the arts. I was and am obsessed with campus life, though my years of structured education are over! I mostly wander like a ghost, here and there with my SD, looking for inspiration and connection. This look I have going on here is DA inspired, with a little nod to the Mouse. Greetings to you both near and far. Comments welcome.

My family used to go to Disneyland every year (we got like 90% off discount tickets through a program, I'm not one of Those People) but no one in my family even wants to go anymore because they've just ruined the place. Like the prices were always high but they just keep skyrocketing and they dumped the program we were using and they made annual passes nearly impossible to get. They changed the fast pass system, which was one of the things setting it apart from other nearby parks, and now everything takes like two hours to ride. They crammed a star wars land in a space where it didn't fit and they keep reskinning iconic rides to match IPs and building more and more resorts instead of putting money into making the parks actually better.
When I was a kid it was a super cool place (granted you could get in for next to nothing like we did) but I honestly don't think I would go now even if the tickets were $20. And my family feels the same. We used to really look forward to going but year by year they've just systematically destroyed the place. They're coasting on reputation right now but if they keep going this route, they're going to start seriously losing visitors. There's not enough Disney adults to keep them in business if they scare off all the SoCal locals who go regularly, which is what they're doing now. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
