Getting back to DOTA: Dragon’s Blood with season two, which I didn’t know there was also a third season to it. It’s likely due to the amount of time between when I saw season one before starting the next one, but I completely lost the thread on certain aspects of the story.

I get there’s the Terrorblade plot with the dragons’ souls and what have you. And the supposed moon goddess being depowered from her godhood by a spurned lover over the loss of their child. But the stuff with the elves isn’t ringing a bell, for me. It also isn’t helping how every episode has been a series of vignettes strung together, bouncing around to different characters for minutes at a time or less.

It’s like the show is hoping every thread remains relevant until they eventually tie together. But such disjointed storytelling makes it difficult for me, personally, to care about what’s happening. Or even why it’s happening.

Maybe it’ll all make sense toward the end. I don’t wish to write this show off as being bad. These are just my thoughts on it as of writing while watching episode four.
