|| The first time it happens, Dream almost drops the basket he's carrying, and catches it only at the last second.

"Papa?" Ranboo asks, innocent eyes staring right up him, ears perked. "Good?"

"Yeah, starlight," Dream manages to whisper, weak at the knees. "Perfect. Stay close, okay?"

Ranboo nods and obediently trots by his side, his tail still linked with Dream's, as if it's not making Dream have a crisis. His son is holding his tail. His beloved darling soon has linked their tails to stay close.

This is fine. Dream is okay. It's fine.

He doesn't tell Techno, but keeps thinking about it for the next week, and then his husband is barrelling into him as soon as he's back from the marked with Ranboo, eyes wild.

"He held my tail," Techno rasps. "He linked our tails, Dream."

Dream simply smiles and kisses his husband.

It becomes a tradition, that they always follow - whenever they go somewhere, they hold tails. Ranboo is by their side always, since he's an affectionate child, and his tail is always linked with either Dream's or Techno's. It's such a deep but innocent to express their feelings, a gesture that appeals so much to their hybrid sides.

And to Dream, to the dragon sleeping curled in his chest, nothing is better than having his son and mate curled in his tail, small and snug, warm and protected. Ranboo is so tiny that he easily fits in the coils of Dream's tail even when Dream's not transformed, but now their son is sleeping on Techno's lap, his husband curled in Dream's tail.

"Who would've thought," Techno muses to no one in particular, and Dream's chest erupts in purrs that put them both to sleep.

And even years later, when Ranboo is a grown man, someone independent and strong, just how their raised him, he still links his tail with theirs - old habits die hard, and Dream has to admit that he and Techno often reach out first, for old times sake.

And sometimes, when things get hard and the word feels cruel, they all sleep pressed against Dream's belly, his giant wigs hiding them from harm.

how dream feels with having techno and punz with him on the zombie au?

Dream is very happy!

For Punz especially, it really does give him hope about surviving the apocalypse and seeing his family alive and well. Like I said, he and Punz were a thing before and he also still had feelings for him. Though they've both changed considerably, there's still a familiarity that's a great comfort to him.

On the other hand with Techno, they grew very close in the apocalypse. Dream was out of the house the day of the outbreak and Techno saved him from some infected. They've been traveling together ever since. At first, they were holed up in Techno's house (Techno's one of them doomsday preppers where he's stocked his house to survive for months without going out, mostly cuz he doesn't trust the government at all) but the supplies ran out eventually and Dream wanted to find if his family that lives out of state was okay. They learned a lot about each other during those weeks alone, and even more as they braved the outside world which was in total ruins. It's very jarring for Dream, but he feels safer with Techno by his side.

And once he's got them both, sometimes he even thinks he'd be okay if absolutely no one else was alive (uninfected) as long as he has them :)

Im writting a Crimson peak dreamnoblade au, wich goes a bit like this:

•Phil and Kirsten have 3 children, and after her death Philza stars neglecting them, reason why the oldest, Wilbur, stars taking care of his siblings every need

•that protectiveness becomes a bordeline unhealthy need to be near them, and when they try to separate them, Wilbur takes drastic meassures and they end up separated anyways

•years later they reunite, and life seems bright until a series of unfortunate (and quite murderous) deaths shakes everything again

•Wilbur clinges to the only thing he has left from his life, his brother Technoblade, desperate to not be left alone also by him

•When their family house starts badly falling appart and their inherited money becomes sparce, they start looking for ways to get more money. Techno tries to sell the idea of one of their associates, working with the clay mines on their terrain. It does not work out very well

•At a party, Wilbur meets Quackity, a young and promising american aristocrat, and he comes up with the idea to marry him for money. So, when Q has to go back, Wilbur and Techno travel too so Wil can try and woo Quackity.

•At arrival, they encounter that Quackity is actually engaged to Sapnap and Karl, but Wilbur is in desperate need so he keeps trying.

•Meanwhile, Techno tries to sell the work idea he had and for that he meets with important bussiness people, and in one of those reunions he meets the son of Captain puffy, Dream, a bright aspiring writter

•They realize they have a lot of things in common, and more often than not, when Wilbur is trying to spend time with Quackity, Techno goes to reunite with Dream. They go out and they just enjoy each other's company, and Techno even reads the novel Dream is working on

•After seeing them interact, Wilbur questions Techno on the nature of their relationship, and makes his brother promise he will never fall in love and leave him alone, telling him its only the two of them, and no one will truly understand them less love them with all the secrets they keep together. Techno, unconvinced, promised Wilbur that he will not leave him alone, more than anything to keep his brother's thinning sanity.

•After his attempts are unsucessful, Wilbur realized their best bet to get the money is actually Dream's relationship with his brother, so he convinces Techno they both should get married and move back to their family house.

•Dream says yes, but Puffy doesnt trust the brothers, so she seeks out to someone that can investigate their past, and after doing so, threatens to reveal the whole true of the deaths in their family if they dont go away and never come back.

•Shortly after, the threat never gets completed because Captain Puffy is murdered.

•After some time, Dream and Techno decide to get married, and they travel to the Minecraft's family house to start fixing it so they can love there. With Wilbur, of course.

•Dream starts noticing weird things happening around the house, and on top of that he starts suddently getting sick. He starts looking for answers, and finds about how many deaths actually happened there, and under what conditions those people died

Found Family AU

((pls give me a better name for this au))

Basically with this au, Connor is biologically Dream's kid from either a past relationship or fling with Jschlatt, which he will deny deny deny, as he doesn't want Schlatt involved with Connor, both as a 'fuck you' and because he doesn't trust him.

This part, can go either way, either Dream and Techno are friends and Dream started hanging around him more for whatever reason, so Connor got to know Techno before he began dating his dad, or they started dating first them Connor got to meet him.

Either way, Techno at first isn't to interested in being involved with Connor much, and Dream is fine with that, he's already use to being a single parent and only expects Techno to be nice to the kid. But Techno does warm up to Connor and realizes later he sees him as his own.

Later on, they stumble upon Ranboo either during a mining trip or supply run, and bring him back to recover. Connor, being the hyperactive child he is, wants to know more about the new kid brought home, but he does more to scare him, so he starts being handed off to Phil occasionally to watch while Dream and Techno tend to Ranboo.

Connor doesn't mind, but of course he complains, not understanding why the new kid seems scared of him, and why he can't be home with them. Phil in all his grandparently/uncle wisdom, does his best to explain. How Ranboo doesn't have the same energy as Connor, so it can make him uneasy.

Connor, wanting to do better as making the new kid feel welcome and at ease, begins practicing to lower his energy and be more calm with the help of Phil.

After achiving this, when he's brought home, Ranboo happens to be out of his room which is rare. Connor makes a beeline for him, but isn't running like he usually does, keeping his movements slow and calm, he's careful not to get to close as he gives Ranboo a picture he drew of all of them together, his way of welcoming Ranboo into the family.

They become close after that, and soon inseperatable. Connor even calling himself the big brother despite Ranboo being older by a couple years.

Like. Techno is all prim and proper. He takes extra care in looking untouchable. And Dream LIVES to make his life hell, so he messes him up every chance he can get. The first time Techno walks in with poorly cleaned lipstick stains on his lips and face and necks is... eventful. (Techno knows how to clean them correctly, of course. He's been alive for centuries. He's been friend of Philza for just as long. But he likes the subtle possession of the gesture.) - warrior

Techno absolutely likes being covered in all the marks AND likes making marks of his own. After all, he can't let Dream have all the fun. While Dream likes the pinker shades that are almost unnoticeable when wiped away but still make a person do a double-take, Techno would use reds and dark shades so they're almost like bruises when Dream wipes at them. It's far more obvious, he wants people to know Dream's not available.

Lipstick stains are one thing. Being so close to a person and so frequently intertwined that people can smell the cologne/perfume of the other is a little different. Finding residue of mascara black tears on their cheeks is much different :)

Day 2 of Citrus Dreamnoblade Week with the prompt 'Meeting Parents'

Dream had everything he could have asked for in his life. Home, Job and a lovely fiance. But before his life could actually become perfect by turning said fiance into his husband he had to meet his family first. And let’s just say that Techno had talked about his family before, but meeting them was something completely different.

Story under the cut! Words: 1,534

Dream was the luckiest man in the world. He had a nice job in a firm where he had met his two best friends. Said job made sure he didn’t need to worry about money or the future, additional to that he also had a very nice home and a cat living in said home. Oh, and not to forget his boyfriend, or, since a few weeks, his fiance.

Techno was an artist working from home with his own studio in a room where most of the walls were made out of windows. The man with the pink hair always told Dream that he was is muse, ever since they met in college.

It was a normal day for Dream when he sat in the college’s cafe, trying to finish a project he had been stressing about for the last few weeks. His hair was messy, there were bags under his eyes and he accidentally wore his shirt backwards… with stains on it, cause he forgot to do his laundry.

In the middle of him panicking Techno had slid into the booth, immediately getting Dream’s attention. The student looked over his laptop at the man with a deep frown and mouth half open. “….what do you want?” He has asked in the hope that the stranger would notice that he wasn’t welcome and leave again.

“Sorry, I don’t want to bother your for long but,” the man started, voice monotone as he looked Dream’s face over, “you’re really beautiful, would it be okay for you if I’d draw you?” Dream felt his face turn red within seconds, no one had ever called him beautiful before. Handsome sure, sexy even, but beautiful? That one was new and despite himself he kinda liked it.

“Ehm, wh-what?”

“If I can draw-”

“No, I understood that part just- ehm- haha, it’s just,” Dream stumbled over his own words, a slight grin growing on the stranger. Only then did Dream notice the sketchbook in front of the man. “kinda direct, don’t you think?”

“Well, you have to be direct when you found your muse in a stranger you could lose, right?”

Muse?? Did this dude really just call Dream his muse? Damn. “Oh ehm, wow that’s, true I guess?”

The man chuckled then, holding out his hand. “My name is Techno and I’m an art student here.”

“Dream,” the blond answered as he shook Techno’s hand, blush still on his cheeks. “And sure, you can ehm, draw me, if you want to! I just need to work is that-?”

“Totally fine, don’t worry,” and just like that he opened his sketchbook and started drawing.

That was how they had met four year ago. Shortly after they became friends, then boyfriends and now fiances. Techno had asked him in a cafe the day Dream had worked on an important project for work. He did not miss what his lover did there.

No you’d think Dream’s life was perfect right? But you’d be wrong, cause there was one more thing Dream had to do and that was meet Techno’s family. And don’t come at Dream with ‘you should have met them already!’ like yeah, he should! It was just that all of Techno’s family lived in England while they lived all the way in Florida. And until a few months ago they simply didn’t have the money to just fly over there for a meet up.

Now that Dream had found a good workplace and Techno had boomed with his art and could sell it for a lot of money, they were wealthy enough for trips like that to be in their normal schedule. And today they finally flew over, eight hours of flight and they landed safely in London. “So, is your family picking us up?” Dream asked, fidgeting with the fidget spinner Techno had given him before the flight already.

“Yeah, I think Wilbur is,” Techno mumbled as he waited for their package. Dream knew who Wilbur was, he also knew who Tommy and Philza were, just because he hadn’t met the men yet didn’t mean Techno wouldn’t talk about them.

Wilbur was Techno’s older brother, a musician who tended to be overdramatic but also very romantic. Tommy was Techno’s younger brother who had just turned eighteen and still visited high school, he was pure chaos and apparently annoying as fuck. And then there was Philza, Techno’s father, apparently calm and level-headed but sometimes a little hypocritical and sassy.

So yeah, Dream was worried and nervous, you can’t fault him for that! Walking to the picking up part of the airport made Dream wanna throw up, he knew how they each looked thanks to pictures. Sometimes he wondered if Techno also sent them pictures of Dream and talked to them about him.

“Calm down,” Techno whispered to him, one hand on Dream’s lower back, “they’re not gonna eat you.”

“What when they don’t like me?” Dream asked back, glancing at his fiance before looking back to search for Wilbur.

“They will and even when not, it doesn’t matter. You’re part of me, rather they like you or not.” That was kinda reassuring for Dream, knowing he wouldn’t lose the love of his life no matter what. But still, he wanted to be liked so there wouldn’t be any complications during the wedding or future events like Christmas.

“Techno!” A voice called out, making both men turn to their left. There he stood, Wilbur, a young man with curly brown hair and brown eyes smiling at them. He wore a yellow sweater, standing out from the crowd. The fact that he was also tall and waving his hand wildly around helped as well.

“Wilbur!” Techno answered, his voice as monotone as most of the time. He walked over to him with Dream and Wilbur immediately pulled his brother into a tight hug. “Urgh, Wilbur, please.”

“Come on man, let me hug and look at you!” Wilbur said as he pulled back, hands on Techno’s arms to hold him still. “You look good, healthy!” Then his gaze wandered over to Dream, a soft smile back on his lips. “And you must be Dream, nice meeting you.”

“The pleasure is all mine,” Dream said, shaking the man’s hand with a gentle smile, trying to be polite. Wilbur pulled back and chuckled and only then did Dream notice how sweaty his own hand was, trying to dry it on his jacket. “Sorry about that…”

“No need to apologize,” Wilbur assured, waving it off, “you’re nervous, that’s completely normal okay? Meeting the family for the first time is stressful.”

“It really is,” admitted Dream with a deep sigh, earning a laughter from the other man. Techno also chuckled lightly before turning back to Wilbur, his hand founding it’s spot on Dream’s waist.

“Alright, let’s go guys, I bet Tommy and dad are waiting just as nervous at home.” And with those last words from Wilbur they left the airport, got into Wilbur’s car and drove. They were on the road for half an hour before arriving at the house. As they got out of the car Dream saw someone looking out a window, trying to hide behind a curtain.

“Oh my,” he whispered to himself, swallowing heavily before stepping to Techno’s side, taking his hand.

“It will be fine,” his partner said, looking down at the blond. “We’ll greet them and then flee upstairs to unpack and settle in before dinner in the evening, okay?”

“Okay,” Dream nodded, he saw Wilbur chuckle silently in his fist, hiding it badly. Then he pushed the key in and opened the door, two blond men already waiting. Dream took a deep breath before stepping inside with everyone. Obviously everyone greeted Techno first before the pinket gestured to Dream, introducing him as his fiance. “Hello! I’m happy finally getting to meet Techno’s family!”

“As are we! We didn’t get to see him for so long cause he didn’t want to travel without you,” Philza said with a strained smile, wrinkled obvious at the side of his mouth and eyes. Oh god, the man already hated him. “It’s funny that we meet now that you’re already fiances, right?”

“Dad,” Techno said in a warning tone and a frown, “Stop playing games.”

And all of a sudden the older man burst out laughing, shaking his head before pulling Dream into a tight hug. “I’m sorry, I had to do this,” he said, still laughing lightly. Dream was shocked and didn’t know what was happening.

When he pulled away Tommy started talking. “It’s okay, he does this shit with every partner someone brings home.”

Dream blinked at that before turning to Techno in shock. “Why didn’t you warn me?!”

“I thought he wouldn’t do this considering you’re not just a boyfriend!”

“Nope,” Philza said between them, “no one is safe here.” Dream took a deep breath in relief before he was invited into the living room, asked if he wanted to have a drink. It was still scary but the atmosphere turned more chill fast and eventually Dream was laughing with everyone as well.

Meeting his fiance’s – soon husband – family was as not as much a disaster as he had feared.

They aren't married- right? - itʼs ranboo centric where he “tries” to convince himself that mr. dream and mr. techno are not married. itʼs really, really soft with a bit of bantering that makes it hilarious to read. iʼm not a fan of the ending though, feels like itʼs unnecessary but it was still okay. great even! thereʼs also a bit of bench trio dynamic so thatʼs a plus!

sweetest downfall - itʼs nsfw so please watch out! (and yes, i know iʼm a minor. you donʼt have to say it) the nsfw part will be on chapter 4 (about 3/4 (0.75) of it), and there are also chapter 5--the whole chapter is about implied nsfw so, yeah, watch out? and about my thoughts on it... itʼs really, really sweet. iʼm not going to spoil those who havenʼt see it, but the concept of dream saying “you are my universe” to techno is... how do i say this? definitely beautiful. we also have george, btw, because he canʼt just leave the fun, can he? *winks*

The best method to get a royal family - now this. remember the technoroyaldad (did i say that right?) au on twitter? with ranboo being his son and deam being a mercenary? well... i think we have a romantic version of that, and this is that! the dynamic between techno and dream is what i lived for whenever i read that. it will definitely make your day! although itʼs still not finished, the wait every chapter is really worth it! ranbaby is so cute! i wish i can keep him ;-;

The Devil Made me do it (but I also Kinda Wanted to) - this... this is one of the best royal au iʼve read so far. seriously! the world building is top tier, and yes! itʼs also fantasy au with dragons and mage-kind-of-humans. the dynamic between the dragon and dream is so cute >< disney princess dream but heʼs with dragon! btw there are also nsfw in this, but donʼt worry! the plot and the smut ones are separate from each other by chapters. so, if you donʼt want to read the nsfw part, then feel free!

A Pig & Blob - i can not just leave this, come on. lili deserves the recognition! this story are one shot/two shots/three shots (or maybe even four shots) in one book! i canʼt give you the depth of the stories, but you need to know that all of them are amazing. especially the royal au where dream was hunter and now technoʼs knight. you need to read it!

Babyblade Universe - my first ever dnb with a baby au! i havenʼt read the part 1 of the series yet, but the part 2 and 3--i really recommend it. itʼs just... really, really adorable. and of course, itʼs not just dnb but the other members of dmsp as well! the meeting between them and the baby is *chefʼs kiss* and for the part 2, just watch out for the emotional hurt, because it really hurt me when i read it. but donʼt worry, itʼs happy ending!

I'd Bleed For You (tell me you'll do the same) - the amount of love i have with this fic is too much, and iʼm not even complaining. i love this as a whole because the concept is just *sighs* and the established relationship between dream and techno? i will die because of it. the miscommunication hurt me a bit but it was all good! and the ending? the whole chapter 3? I WILL LIVE FOR IT! and yes, itʼs god!dream and god!techno.

to marry a dream - you donʼt know how much i love this thing. the pace of the story is so good that you wonʼt even get bored. the whole thing is the embodiment of the word “beautiful” (iʼm probably exaggerating, but the point still stands). everything about it is amazing. i just... couldnʼt get enough of it. itʼs arranged marriage between dream and techno! and iʼm dying because of it (/pos).

Dreamnoblade Family Fics - itʼs another dnb family fics but instead of a baby, itʼs kid!corpse and kid!ranboo. the whole family thing about them is really cute >< itʼs implied mpreg, btw (with dream being the one who was pregnant). we also have interactions between phil, ranboo and corpse! with phil, of course, being a good grandfather to them. i love him ;-; the backstory between dream and techno really explains everything, but i recommend reading the whole series by when it was published.

you are in love (true love) - this is also one of my favorites! itʼs like a poetry, honestly and i love everything about it. itʼs so descriptive and beautiful. i just... i wonʼt even going to say anything. just read it, and you will understand me.

golden bands and gloves - secret relationship my beloved. itʼs too cute to not recommend it. and the whole “iʼm worried for him, but i trust him” thing is heartbreaking but in a positive way. they are married, btw!

in your eyes holds the truth(don't hide them from me) - ever heard of star-tear disease? a disease like hanahaki? well, if you havenʼt... this is a nice start to get familiar with it! there are also least 2-3 more fics about it but this is the one that really holds a special place in my heart ;-; itʼs royalty au *winks*

En Passant - mafia au pog?? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA i seriously love this with all my heart (including others of course)! and the tension between the two of them? I MIGHT DIE. LIKE SERIOUSLY! (/POS) read it! read itttttt!

Witness me, Old Man, I am the Wild - it was so cute and so adorable. oblivious dream and brute techno?? count me in, genuinely! the pace wasnʼt boring and the plot was serious intriguing. and the tension between them? amazing af *chefʼs kiss*

It's Too Cold For You Here - and of course, we can not leave a fic made by scout themselves. come on! heʼs literally a goddess, and you wonʼt convince me otherwise :D and yes, another arranged marriage because why the hell not?

It Must be Killing Me - another star-tear disease au! enough with hanahaki, shall we? star-tear disease also deserves recognition. and itʼs also from scout herself! this one, and the fic above are two of my favorites scoutʼs fics so far!

An Unending Brevity - i donʼt know if you already saw my carrd, but this thing right here... IS THE BEST (for me, at least). ITʼS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE, SERIOUSLY! everything about it is beautiful. i fell in love with it the moment i read it. so beautiful it hurts. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

For you I walk through hell - ha! mythology au? eros and psyche? beautiful. just straight up beautiful. seriously. i couldnʼt form words, but itʼs beautiful. AND ITʼS UNDERRATED. I HATE IT. I HATE IT. IT DESERVES RECOGNITION!

twenty-one summers - i forgot to include this and i hate myself for it. this should be here. this should be here a long, long time ago. why? because it deserves it! it holds the title number 2 to my favorite fics that has poetry kind of thing (one of my favorites written works out there). plus, itʼs prince!techno and knight!dream again! i canʼt leave those, can i?

White Christmas - of course we need to have a christmas fic because who wouldnʼt?! it was very, very cute. dream was such a simp for techno, but you know, techno is very much simpable (donʼt know if that was actually a word), and i can very much attest to that. anyway, itʼs also from scout! which we all know that every fic he made is amazing! it was also kinda like cottagecore...? well, technoʼs a farmer and dream was from the city.

Of Gods and Worship - this thing... was so... intimate. like, the whole fic, the whole concept about it was so intimate, in a way where it hurt because it was so beautiful. technoʼs a god and dreamʼs a priest who worships him... and it was just... idk! iʼm loss for words. just read it, istg, please read it!

Peculiar Feeling - i donʼt know if the link would work since itʼs locked, but can i please just say that it was beautiful??? it wasnʼt beautiful like the others fics that iʼve read, yet there is a certain charm about it that can make you feel... things. the dialogue in the ending killed me.

so dawn goes down to day (nothing gold can stay) - i was never down to read fanfic(s) that has major character death, but this thing... it was—it was probably the only exemption. I FUCKING CRIED. did you hear me? i. fucking. cried. because. of. it. and i know that iʼm sensitive af, but i appreciate many things that had made me cried. the fanfic was a like poetry. and it was about colors, nature, best friends, life, promises. it was beautiful in a way where even though it may not make you cry, the amount of feelings and thoughts the writer put into it would make you appreciate it. because i certainly did. one word for this fic: beautiful.

And then they were neighbors - techno was a such a simp *sobs* and it was so adorable. he literally lured one of dreamʼs cat just to talk him. and the amount of serotonin i got from this one was too, too much. dream was such a pretty guy. the way techno described him when he saw him the first time is just *screams* (/affectionate). i canʼt get enough of this ;-;

A Hero's Lament - i, and iʼm saying this with so much anger, hate myself for noticing this fic just now. GENUINELY. the world building is so top-tier, burj khalifa would bow down, and no, iʼm not exaggerating. reincarnation (or isekai...?) au, superhero and villain au, slow burn au all in one?? COUNT ME IN. but seriously though, the fic is so adorable with dream trying his best to blend in with his new world. and, god, please, the slow burn is literally a slow burn. they were barely romance in there and iʼm loving it. also, thank prime itʼs not those superhero and villain au fics where dream is a villain, because heʼ definitely not. dudeʼs just trying his best; leave him alone ;-; CLINGY DUO + DREAM AND MD??? CHEFʼS KISS* this fic became one of my all time favorite fics. my words are not enough to give justice to this fic. READ IT, please.

you fall, we rise - you donʼt know how much i hate myself because i just found this au like, right now. IF SAMMY DID NOT MENTIONED THIS FIC I WOULDNʼT KNOW IT EXISTED IN THE FIRST PLACE! (i did watched the first movie of pacific rim first since i genuinely did not understand the notes the author put in. and iʼm glad i did watch it first). now... the story. probably one of the best alternative universe iʼve ever read so far. the pace was genuinely amazing. (i did not think iʼll be reading a 12k words of fanfic that has the alternative universe from the movie who have like 2 hour and half watching time) the author did an amazing job keeping the pace not slow and also not fast. for the romance, it did not feel cliché at all, since itʼs supposed to be an action fanfic. the author did also a good job for keeping the romance between techno and dream not early in the fanfic. their relationship development was beautiful. especially the one where dream apologized to techno (if you read it, youʼll know what iʼm saying). this is getting too long *sighs* seriously though, it was a pleasure to read a fanfic like that. been a while since iʼve read one *bows to the author*

A Cresent Moon - i recently just read this; i was so late. i shouldʼve read this long, long time ago but i didnʼt because i was afraid. well, itʼs a streamer au; explains why i was scared of reading it. but you know what, i donʼt care. the read was so worth it, i would even recommend it to you. besides, itʼs still their personas so back the fuck off if you think itʼs not. even sammy explain it in here. anyway, the fic was really wonderful. like a refreshment for a hell-week that happened in my school. the dynamic between techno and dream was written so good. and the manhunt chapter was my comfort chapter (itʼs still is) even though there were a lot of second-hand embarrassment i felt. but just like i said IT WAS WORTH IT. DEFINITELY. and the last chapter? *chefʼs kiss* IT WAS LIKE A POETRY (and if you actually read my thoughts in here, you know that fics that are written like poetry is one of my favorite type of fics out there) and it was so beautiful. i donʼt want to spoil anything but... the way techno proposed to dream is hilarious and teary at the same time /affectionate. you should really read it.

Take me up when I'm down ('cause with you I'm safe and sound) - thatʼs a long title... anyway, 5+1 (well, itʼs actually 4+1) fic recommendation! iʼve never been a fan of 5+1, honestly. not like i dislike it, itʼs just not my cup of tea. HOWEVER, this one, this fic, right here, is all i need for me to take 5+1 seriously. plus, itʼs short!dream, i just need to read it. AND IʼM GLAD I DID. secret relationship? check. size difference? check. disney princess!dream (kinda)? check. a hint of jealously and protectiveness (if that is even a word)? check. the right amount of humor? big check! itʼs almost perfect *chefʼs kiss* (there are sex jokes so please, if you donʼt want that... get back, right now)

Beyond Beastly - i was a bit skeptical to finish this fic before since i often got bored with its pace, but honestly, iʼm very thankful i finished it. there are a lot of beauty and the beast au out there, like seriously. iʼve read some of them and none actually caught my attention. well, maybe except for this fic. anyway, yeah, i got a bit bored at the beginning to the middle since itʼ going nowhere, but the scene before the ball and afterwards... it all came crashing down. everything came into place; everything is connected in some way. and for that one comment i saw that said, “flowers from 1970 could never,” i salute you. because it was true. the ending was a bit... eh, but honestly, i couldnʼt ask for more.

Ends, Justified - after a day and a half, i finally got the courage to read past chapter 11 (youʼll know why i had to take a break) and it was so worth it. i hate angst, donʼt get me wrong, but there are some fanfics that makes it... worthy enough to read; this is one of those fics. and the ending in chapter 13? believe me, i died because of it. the epilogue is bit bland to me since i did not know the things they did after the ending, like the whole talking between dream and techno. but you know, it was quite satisfying to see how both of them come in to terms after the things that happened between them and the world around them. probably one of them best superhero/villain au iʼve read next to a heroʼs lament.

Good At Hiding It, Though - i... i love it. i genuinely love it. i never thought i would like actor au this much. itʼs so... precious and i canʼt help but coo at both them. and the ending? that perfect ending? *chefʼs kiss* i would very much like to read it over and over again. so, is there any dnb actor au out there that i donʼt know about? please, please, tell me about it.

for who could ever learn (to love a beast) - i am... SCREAMING WITH HOW MUCH POTENTIAL THIS AU HAS. manhunt, and beauty and the beast all in one?? DONʼT MIND IF I DO. iʼm waiting for the next chapter, iʼm waiting. and iʼm keeping the author down my basement, btw :D

The duel - okay... hear me out. i know thereʼs a lot of duel fics out there, but this—this is DGHASYHAUSDUJAJSJSJDJF LIKE HOLY SHIT. I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO BE LIKE THAT. *CHEFʼS KISS* itʼs pretty and itʼs beautiful.

How Far Do We Have To Run To Forget The Pain? - never knew i would be reading angst, but here we are. and honestly, i donʼt know what to say. AND I CRIED COUPLE OF TIMES BECAUSE OF IT *SCREAMS* why did i even read it in the first place? iʼm just torturing myself. but you know, angst is angst. i need a thing that will make me feel things after a lot of fluff.

Nice to Meet You? - look... i donʼ t know the love story between hades and persephone because i havenʼt look at it yet on the internet, but iʼm pretty sure i can enjoy this ESPECIALLY WHEN ITʼS DNB. theyʼre so awkward and cute *sobs* and patches as cerberus? count me in. also, thereʼs a little bit of... spice if you will look for it *smirks* you can miss it though, better luck next time then!

To Build A Home - tommy, tubbo, and ranboo setting dream and techno together so they can be a family and play all the time? MY BELOVED. techno and dream even knew about it and they did not do anything to stop it. i can smell something, whatʼs that? oh, was that secret crush? seems like it!

we got nothing to lose and each other to gain - i donʼt remember much of it but i remember my heart aching. but the tag says open ending so i guess thatʼs reassuring to all of you. seriously though, this is a short one-shot but the curse concept? i would die if need to die just so i can read a fic like this again.

the world could end with you - okay, i don't know the title of this one but i figured i should name it after the song that i requested so that's that. anyway, there aren't any rules that my recommendations should only come from ao3 so i'm listing it here. this is my first time reading a dnb fic with the world ending au AND I'M NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. and, i know, that i'm very, very dramatic (courtesy of my mom), but i teared up. oh to have someone by your side while the world is ending around you.

Finding You Again - this has been on my bookmarks for a long time and i just realized it wasn't here on my recommendation list. this is abo so watch out for anyone who doesn't like abo universe. anyway, this fic has a really nice plot; every time it updates i can't wait to read the next one already. george's here too and he has some real issues he needs to let go. and ranboo and primrose are really getting along even when they just met each other (perks of having the same parents i guess- oops, spoilers)

the skies we're under - i kinda hate myself for just discovering this but hey, at least i did discover it. and yep, it's family au again because why not. ranboo is really cute (but his biological parents are shits; dream and techno are there though so *nods head*). this has been my comfort fic when i took a break, and it definitely shows why.

Through Dance I Find You (Through Love I Know You) - a royalty au! it's been a whole since i've read one so reading this is really precious ;-; it's also 5+1! and both of them are prince here; oblivious princes, btw. they're both idiots *rolls eyes* i also love the concept! and the fact that i think techno knows dream is a prince even before they met is high. like seriously. especially after they actually met each other for the first time. or maybe i'm the idiot one *shrugs*

Busted - another secret relationship because why not???? and you know, to fully experience it, i actually played the song “they don't know about us” by 1d, and it was like the best decision i have ever made. this fic is pretty cute, seriously. and we have tommy's pov this time, so it's a plus (i've always wondered how tommy will take it if he learnt that techno and dream are dating). and the ending??? *chef's kiss*

I wanna be the next one you call home - it's been days since i've a dnb fanfics, and this was the one that greeted me. and honestly, i don't mind. this is like the sweetest thing i have read yet. AND IT'S THE SOMNITRIO SO YOU CAN'T BLAME ME. they became family in the end ;-; oh to have parents like nightmare and the blade.

anddddddd, weʼre done! phew, that was a lot. those are the things i really recommend to read if you are new to the dnb fandom. (i’m going to add more recommendations in the future if i find another fic that i really like :D)
