You ever have one of those professors where you're just like... how? How are you,, employed? Y'know, as an instructor. A teacher. Someone who is supposed to teach. How did you get here because, in the least mean way I can possibly say it, so fucking bad at your job?

#don't get me wrong #I've had plenty of shit teachers and professors but Oh My God #she is making my life living hell #she's a seemingly bright and cheery and nice person #but she's a nightmare instructor #she does not teach #she gives us an impossible amount of work to do all by ourselves throughout the week #she has labs that are half written and are too complex to fit within the lab time #she holds us after lecture to continue talking about stuff that has Nothing to do with the content of the class #literally every class and lab! #she makes us take THREE #I REPEAT T H R E E #quizzes every week #there are three smaller group projects throughout the term and one overarching large group project throughout the term #and she's the only fucking instructor my institution has hired for this class that is REQUIRED for nearly every degree #i'm exhausted by her #like #she's a nice person #but the way she teaches makes me wanna fucking die #anyway #i have homework to do (for her class 🙃 of course) #personal #thoughts #i have to complain about this everywhere apparently... to my friends... to other students... to tumblr... yeah. its bad and i apologize lol

It was so sweet 😭 and he was so funny when I gave it back to him with my notes all over it. He dressed up in a suit and sat me down in the livingroom while he stood explaining things/answering questions on a whiteboard for me and my mom, as if he was defending again.

I didn’t understand a word of it lol but it’s one of my happiest memories 😊

#Ive only been in my semester for 4 weeks and I’m already almost burned out #one of my professors teaching styles just isn’t working for me but it’s the way that the department has the class set up and not the prof #so I have to manage regardless #and I keep failing the quizzes he’s giving because I don’t understand the way he teaches #and then one of my labs assigns a lab with a full report every week #which alone can take 5-6 hours #on top of NINE HOURS #YES #N I N E hours of calculus 2 homework PER WEEK #WITH QUIZZES #and on top of that I still have 3 other classes #and a part time job #I am…tired #and very…very discouraged for the moment #but #I cant drop any of the classes because there’s no room in my major to do so without another semester #so I need to deal #anyways #stem major moment #and also nap time

What font do they use when typing?: does not change the font unless mikah's fucked around with his phone and made it super annoying or hard to read. otherwise, he'll stick with the default

Foods they like but their body can't tolerate?: Evan is another one where if he can't tolerate it, he probably won't eat it. i've always played around with the idea to have him intolerant of alcohol and some of the ingredients in it but i'm not trying to put him in the hospital so--

Food their body tolerates less as they age?: i know that says food but like..... alcohol. listen--evan drinks too much. and while he likes to think that his body can handle it for as long as he wants it to, that isn't the case. he's built up a tolerance to it but it's slowly getting worse over time--a fact which he ignores religiously.

Were they pencil drummers as a kid? Leg shaker? Foot tapper?: he was a pencil drummer for sure. a little bit of a foot tapper too. he still is like that to some extent but he can usually catch himself doing it.

Were they a bully as a kid (intentional or unintentional): yup--intentionally and unintentionally. evan wasn't the kindest kid to begin with due to how his home life was. coupled with the fact that when he did do something wrong at home, he avoided punishment by just.... not being there and hiding out at a friend's. that "lack of accountability" bled into most of his interactions, unfortunately, and evan's probably been the cause of quite a few tears.

Do they have a toy from childhood that they kept?: nope. any toys he did have as a kid are long gone and were probably not worth saving.

Do they save birthday cards/thank you cards/Valentine Cards?: no. unless you're someone extremely important to him, he will not care. he'll probably lose them, not gonna lie.

Did they try smoking as a kid? What age?: yes and 15 for him. the little delinquents (i.e: he and his friends ) had stole it from a nearby corner shop, along with other things

Did they try drinking? What Age?: 16-17-ish. same story as above but he was caught by his uncle and, needless to say, Roderick was having none of it. getting in trouble didn't really stop him from trying it again, though

You Would Be A Bad Immortal

Immortality would deeply sadden you. You would not be able to deal with the loss, with the constant change that you cannot control. While I do not think you would waste away as quickly as others might, you would not enjoy your time, either. You form attachments easily but do not easily let them go, and you care about the people around you. You are human in the way a lot of people wish they were.
