You could draw some very interesting parallels between Grimsley and Caitlin and i think it's a shame i haven't personally seen anyone point them out.
Max overanalyzing pokemon characters under the cut
Firstly looking at the dialogue in "A Day With Grimsley" in Pokémon Masters:
He speaks about growing up in his family's estate, an environment where although he was living a very expensive and lavish lifestyle, he couldn't let his guard down around others. A situation where despite being an actual child he had to act very logically at all times.
And then, comparing that to Caitlin's dialogue in "A Day With Caitlin" also in Pokémon Masters:
The context is different but Caitlin describes an experience that could definitely be seen as similar. Spending her youth quite literally living in a castle with her own butler, and yet she was made to repress her emotions. Something that she mentions making her feel numb and struggle to enjoy life when she entered adulthood in the same Sync Story.
I find it very interesting that these two characters, both part of the Unova Elite Four have these similarities to eachother. And i definitely think you could use these similar experiences to highlight both how they each cope with their respective challenges that came from their childhood. Where as Caitlin seems to have found a support system and is working on unlearning that, Grimsley falls into paranoia and an addiction to gambling.
