Weird note, maybe I'm just remembering things wrong but the original Simon had no real reason to believe Betty was dead, right? As far as he knew she ran away when he put on the crown for the first time and never saw her again and by the time he could conceivably think 'its been a long time shes probably dead now' he was too far gone in ice kings madness. Then when he did see her again she was lost to him, but not dead.

So why did the Winter King refer to her as 'the dead one'? What happened to Betty in that timeline?

Anyone know artists doing commissions that do smth like medieval fantasy portraits? Dont have to be full on oil paintings but smth that communicates that energy if that makes any sense at all.

Im also looking for character designer types to help me bring my steampunk fishman to life, I've been tryna draw him myself bit its not quite communicating the level of 'dear god what is that thing' that I want.

So I'm watching with 3 people who've never watched the livestreams for various reasons and I just wanna say what a *delight* it is to know exactly whats coming even if I dont know how exactly the shows gonna pull it off, especially because like me my friends are very genre savvy so when vex died they were upset and shocked but they say things like 'theres no way shes going to stay dead, its a fakeout' with absolute conviction and I'm just here like :)

How can they know the ripple effects of this action across the entire story?? That Vex may live, and for a while it might seem like everyone will get away clean, but eventually someone will have to pay the piper that we are equally unprepared to lose??

Yes seeing the whole campaign animated is absolutely delightful, but afflicting my friends with it while knowing exactly where this is going is the highlight of my week rn.
